"You said on the plane this car was based on one from a movie which explains the armour plating but why this car?" Carey asked finally calming down.
"That's easy it was my favourite movie," said Jack as the car turned a corner and the car faced the tall monument. A long line of blood soaked witches stood in front of the car. Jack looked through the rear windscreen and saw four witches standing behind them. "Oh yeah that's right silver doesn't kill witches. I knew I overlooked something," said Jack as he got out of the car and Carey slid over into the driver's seat.

"You will pay for the pain you have put me and my sisters through," said Lady Salem and the other witches hissed their approval. "Before we begin let me just check if I'm right after all I don't want to be wrong again. Silver doesn't kill you but there is something that kills you," said Jack as he walked behind the car and flipped open the boot. He took out what looked like two large gas tanks made into a rucksack out of the boot and strapped it to his back. The witches shuffled backwards hissing again. "So if memory serves you are weak against two certain pure elements. Water and of course. Fire," said Jack as he picked up what looked like a water gun which had a pipe that went from the gun to the 'rucksack'.

Jack spun around and pulled the trigger and watched as a tong of flame shot out of the gun's nozzle. Two of the witches were caught in the flame that had erupted from the flame-thrower and the two that were still standing ran away screeching. Two blackened burning stumps crumpled to the ground as Jack spun round again to let the other witches receive the flame.

Carey watched as the witches had a unanimous decision to flee while they still could. All the witches that could stand jumped up onto the rooftops and escaped that way while several that were on fire ran down the nearest alleyway. As Jack casually burned the still withering now black corpses Carey opened the car door and stood up looking around. "Hay Jack you miss-."

Jack whirled round his face a mask of pure horror. Carey's body slumped to the ground. "Oh shit," said Jack rushing over. He looked down at Carey's blood stained corpse. A large silver tipped arrow had gone straight through her head the tip now hanging out of her left eye. Jack looked up at the rooftops for the shooter.

The streets, the rooftops, all were empty except for ten small bonfires. Jack grabbed the arrow shaft and snapped off the tip. Smoke burst from the edges of his hand where he had scratched the tip. Pure silver. It was in a classic diamond shape with only two fins. Jack then recognised two initials scratched into the silver tip. He cursed himself then looked down at Carey. "You did well for a human. Rest in Peace," said Jack as he got into the car and drove off.

The huge tower block loomed up in front of Jack. He was stood in the centre of the pavement looking the building up and down needless to say he got a few strange looks from passers-by. His long black coat floated on the breeze showing off his green shirt and trousers. The brown and back belts stood out under the coat making him look like a failed cos-player. The double sliding doors that led to the foyer of the tall office building beckoned to him. He checked his black watch then stepped inside.

Two security guards stood either side of the door. One stepped in front of Jack the other behind him. Jack in a blur of movement grabbed the guard behind him and swung him into the other guard sending them flying off to one side crashing into the receptionists desk. Jack made his way to the elevator while people throughout the ground floor ran out of his way. He walked up to the now empty elevator and took it straight to the top floor.

When the elevator doors opened he had his Dragoon pistols drawn and as he walked down the corridor as doors opened either side he fired a shot and he watched as the doors closed again. Two security guards came around the corridor. Jack received twelve shots to the chest he fell slowly forwards stumbling to his knees but he got up and kept on walking at the same steady pace. The guards backed off but not fast enough. Jack jumped on one biting down on his neck while shooting the other once in the head. He gulped down a mouth full of blood and licked his bloodied lips before he continued to walk down to the corridor to a tall wooden door which had a small gold coloured plaque on it that read: 'Director of Operations'.

Jack kicked the door in and it flew forward off its hinges it banged to the floor and Jack stepped inside. Smack! Jack's head recoiled backwards as a black gloved fist connected with it. Jack fired his pistols at the owner of the fist. A tall hooded figure jumped backwards onto the wooden desk that sat in the centre of the room. Jack fired again and the figured recoiled. Click, click. The Dragoons misfired and Jack swore. The hooded figure pulled a bow from off of their back and notched an arrow to the draw string.

"Just like old times 'ay Robin," said Jack as he holstered his pistols. A wheezing sound came from the green clothed hooded figure 'Robin' followed by a deep growl. "You haven't changed at all have you." In an instant Robin released the arrow and Jack drew the other two dragoon pistols. The arrow lodged itself in Jack's left shoulder and Jack placed two pistol rounds inside Robin's hood. The hood fell backwards and Jack once again saw the scarred face of Robert 'Robin Hood' of Sherwood Forest. Robin grimaced as blood trickled down from the bullet holes. He pulled down on his collar to show his neck. He was missing his Adam's apple only a large claw shaped scar remained.

"You going to bark all day little doggy." Jack said as he pulled the arrow out of his shoulder. "Or are you going to bite?" Robin dropped the bow and launched himself at Jack. Jack raised his hands but Robin bite down on his right arm and held the left one down. The pair tumbled out of the office into the corridor. Jack threw Robin off crashing him through the left hand wall. Jack stood up pistol's raised a growl came from the other side of the smoke filled hole in the wall and a large black wolf twice the size of a man crashed through the wall and ran into Jack.

Jack got two more shots off but they just bounced off the were-wolf's tough hide. The pair crashed through the opposite wall into a conference room. Jack dropped one Dragoon as he was pushed into then onto a giant table. He swung the other pistol round and used it as a club to bash Robin's snout as the were-wolf bit down on his other empty arm. The were-wolf opened it's jaws and roared at jack while it swatted away the pistol like a child's unwanted toy. Jack roared back at Robin as he pulled another firearm out of his jacket shoved it inside the were-wolf's mouth and fired.

Boom followed closely by a second boom echoed around the room. Robin's were-wolf body teetered backwards missing most of its head before crashing to the rubble bathed floor. Jack licked the were-wolf off that had covered the area around his lips as he slowly reloaded the double barrel sawed-off shotgun his hand. Each quiet click of movement from the gun echoed menacingly around the room as Jack watched the were-wolf lie there.

Jack closed the shotgun's double breach with a swift 'chunk'. He looked down at the wolf as the body slowly malted back into Robin Hood the archer. The head reconstructed itself and the eyes opened and Robin stood up. Robin stepped forward but Jack raised the shotgun to his face so he stood still. "Robin I know you hate me but this isn't about you or me. We both know who this is really about. So tell me where is she?"

Robin smiled and a fast heavy breathing sound which could be classed as a laugh engulfed the quit room. Robin raised a hand and waggled a single finger at Jack. "Fine I'll beat it out of you," said Jack and he pulled the shotgun's trigger. The shotgun boomed Robin dodged and pushed the shotgun away pointing it harmlessly at the wall as he rushed at Jack. Jack hit grabbed the long silver blade from his belt and slashed at robin's face as the two hurtled backwards over the table.

Robin recoiled at the sight of the blade and kicked Jack in the chest sending him through the next wall into another corridor. Jack levelled the shotgun and fired. Robin dodged behind the wall before bursting through the hole Jack had made jumping onto him. Jack used the momentum to roll the pair across the corridor and through the next wall. The pair smashed through the wall and into another desk this one with two computers on it. Robin stood up first grabbing one of the screens ribbing it off the desk and crashing it down on top of Jack. His head went straight through the screen getting scratched in the process.

Jack looked up then looked down at his hands so did Robin. Jack's shotgun blasted out again sending Robin flying back with a hole in his crotch. Jack dropped the shotgun before he lifted the screen off and stood up. He went over to Robin and grabbed him around the neck lifting him up off the floor. Robin grimaced and struggled but Jack held on holding him at arm's length. "Last chance are you going to tell me where she is or not?" Jack asked raising his hand that held the knife.

Robin looked at the blade and stopped struggling. Robin then looked down at the floor and nodded. Jack released him and Robin dropped with a loud 'thump'. Before Jack could react Robin bashed the vampire across the nose breaking it with a large hairy paw. Jack stepped backwards swinging his knife around Robin ducked and ran at him head-butting him the stomach. The two fell back wards. Jack looked up into the hairy mangled, snarling face of the wolf as the two smashed through the desk then the window at the end of the room.

Cold air rushed past Jack as he fell downwards. He looked up to see the wolf clinging to a ledge watching Jack fall down on his own. The world seemed to slow as Jack hurtled downwards. He looked at his hands. The black leather gloves that covered them were cut up and blood stained. In his left hand his silver knife with its prestigious ivory and gold handle glinted in the dim sunlight. "Integra's not going to like this. Huh You idiot all this for a human girl. What were you thinking?" He thought to himself as the sound of the traffic below became louder. CRUNCH!
