A/N: I've had a really bad couple of days (work and roommate drama). Sorry this has been so delayed. I really hope it doesn't suck.

Emmett smiled at the boy. "Ohhh … what's this?"

Gus fidgeted, doing a little wiggle and brushing his hair out of his face. "A story daddy told me."

Justin tensed up. Brian, noticing, sighed softly

Emmett's eyes widened. "Tell me …"

Gus explained, "This is Prince Buttercup, and that's the Knight. His name is Enigma."

Mikey, Debbie, and Ted all snapped their heads toward Gus. Emmett tried (and failed) to hide his surprise. He placed a hand on his chest and half-said, half-gasped, "Oh?"

Justin had been watching all this with a look of increasing horror on his face. He swallowed hard and interjected, he hoped brightly, "Hey, Gus, do you want to see something cool?"

Gus nodded. "I do!" He really liked cool things.

Justin took Gus's hand and led him into the living room. Brian followed part of the way (and hung back). He was curious.

Meanwhile, Mikey, Ted, and Debbie actually got up out of their chairs and crowded around Emmett, who was still holding Gus's picture. They, and Emmett, stared at the picture, trying to discern what it depicted.

They saw a figure with yellow hair, who they assumed was 'Prince Buttercup' (i.e., Justin). They all knew Buttercup was Justin's pen name. They saw a taller figure with brown hair. Emmett looked behind him (at the rest of the gang) and asked softly, "Is Enigma Brian?"

Mikey scoffed. "No fucking way." Debbie smacked him in the back of the head.

Mikey exclaimed, though not as loudly as he normally would have (he didn't want Brian to hear any of these ridiculous speculations and accusations), "Ow, ma!" and rubbed the back of his head.

She whispered urgently, "Language!"

Genuinely contrite, he whispered back, "Sorry."

Ted asked, "If that's Justin and that's Brian, who are they?" He was pointing at two brown non-human-looking figures.

Emmett scrunched his nose. "There's a prince and a knight… so maybe dragons?"

His question was met with blank looks and shrugs.

Debbie narrowed her eyes. "Wait … if the prince is Justin and the knight is Brian … who do the dragons represent? I mean, is there a real-life analog?"

Mikey placed his hand on his hip. "Why are we assuming the knight is Brian? What kind of name is Enigma for a person anyway?"

Everyone ignored him. They were thinking.

While the gang was gathered around Emmett …

Justin walked up to his laptop, plugged in his exterior speakers, and searched for and then started "Missing" (Everything But the Girl – the Todd Terry Remix).

He released Gus's hand, stepped back into the middle of the living room, and started dancing (doing a particular dance move). He explained to Gus, "This is the smurf." He was desperate to keep Gus distracted. He had a few 'tricks' up his sleeve (from back when he was dating Daphne – she was always showing him dance moves). He would pop'n loc around the room or even fall on his stomach and do the dolphin if necessary, but he was hoping a slightly less embarrassing move would suffice.

Brian coughed softly to cover a laugh, which Justin, of course, heard. He shot Brian a withering stare, daring him to mock him. Brian threw his hands up in a gesture of submission and bit back a smile. He also shifted uncomfortably (Justin was incredibly hot when he was pissed).

Gus clapped his hands happily. "I know the smurfs! They're blue."

Justin laughed. "They are indeed. And I suppose this is the dance they do at parties …"

Gus nodded solemnly, with wide eyes. "Ohhh." He totally believed that. Seemed exactly like a dance they would do. "Cool!"

Still dancing, Justin reached out a hand and asked, "Do you want to learn?"

"Yes!" Gus actually jumped up and down a couple of times. He couldn't contain his excitement.

"Stand next to me and watch what I do."

Gus ran to Justin's side dutifully.

Justin explained, "Bend your knees and bounce a little." He actually had to move behind the boy, holding Gus's waist and pressing down gently to get him to bend his knees. "Okay, now bounce. I know you can. I saw you do it on the bed."

Gus smiled brightly, until he caught sight of his father's slight frown. He tried to smile less brightly. His daddy HATED it when he bounced on the bed.

Justin moved beside Gus, bent his knees, and started bouncing. "Good. Okay, now move your arms like you're swimming … or like you're an airplane flying circles to land in slow motion. Bend your arms, like you're about to hug someone." Justin reached over and adjusted Gus's arms. "Yes, just like that. Okay. Good. So still bouncing … bounce, bounce, bounce …" Justin exaggerated his own bouncing to illustrate. "Good, so we're twisting right and left slowly all the while moving our arms. And if you can, you wiggle down, too. Like this." Justin writhed slowly, lowering himself with each twist.

Brian resisted the urge to move to a different part of the room (so he could better glimpse Justin's ass). He didn't want to be obvious.

Justin walked behind Gus, placed his hands on his waist, and pressed down gently to get the boy to shimmy lower. "Good." He moved back beside Gus. "Okay, now we're going to keep the bouncing and the arms but instead of wiggling, we're going to step to the side, to the right while we're moving our right arm and to the left while we're moving our left arm. Like this." Justin demonstrated. He laughed kindly when he looked over at Gus. "Nope. That's your left foot, not your right. Same arm same foot. There you go. So we do that twice and then we start over. You want to try it all together?"

Gus, still bouncing, nodded enthusiastically.

Brian couldn't help but notice how patient Justin was with Gus. He'd make a great father.

Justin asked, "On a count of three, okay?"

"Okay."

Justin and Gus's laughter had caught Emmett's attention by now (actually the attention of everyone in the gang). All but Mikey were watching, a little rapt. Mikey had decided he should rinse out the coffee cups. He made a point not to look, no matter what.

Justin said firmly, "One, two, three. Go."

Then he turned so that he was facing Gus. Gus laughed merrily when Justin wiggled down to his height.

Emmett squealed. "Ooooo! That looks fun! I want to try." He jumped up from his chair and ran over to the duo. Just in time. They were about to start another go round. Before he joined them, he searched for "Say a Little Prayer for You" (in another tab) and, when "Missing" finished, selected Aretha Franklin's version.

Justin raised an eyebrow but shrugged and smiled.

Soon Emmett was next to Gus and the three of them were happily smurfing.

After a couple of minutes of watching and grooving in her chair, Debbie snorted, "None of you were even a gleam in your mother's eye when that song came out."

Emmett huffed and muttered, "Nothing even remotely like a gleam ever got near my parents."

Justin smiled sadly.

Debbie quickly changed the subject. "Since we're doing Bert Bacharach songs …" She marched over to the laptop. "How do I get this thing to play a song?"

Mikey walked toward the living room, to help her, but Brian, who was currently standing between the kitchen and living room, placed his hand on Mikey's shoulder to indicate he needn't bother, and went himself.

Brian asked, "What song?"

"The Look of Love."

"You move your finger until the arrow is in the box. You press down, type the title, and hit enter. Then you click on one of the links here." Brian demonstrated. And then when "Say a Little Prayer for You" ended, he clicked on the remix version of "The Look of Love."

Debbie complained, "No, that's the wrong one."

"The original won't be fast enough."

Debbie grumbled, but let it go, walking over to the trio. She watched for a few seconds and then stood next to Emmett and mimicked his movements. When Debbie seemed to get the hang of it, Emmett moved next to Justin so that he was in front of Debbie. He wiggled down and teased, "Oh come on. You can get lower than that."

Debbie glared at Emmett, but wiggled down a little lower.

Mikey had started watching (after Debbie had asked for help), but, now, he averted his eyes. He muttered to Ted, "This is just wrong." Ted, eyes wide, nodded.

Justin walked over to the desk and put on Crystal Waters's "Gypsy Woman." Then he returned to Gus and kneeled down. He smiled and beaconed, "C'mere." He took Gus by the hands, and, holding them firmly, he pushed Gus backward (gently), pulled Gus forward, released one of Gus's hands, and then spun Gus around with his remaining hand.

That was something he used to do with Molly. Something he very much wanted to do with Kayla. Gus laughed. He cried out excitedly, "Oh! Again! Again."

Justin blinked away tears and smiled. Then he spun Gus. Over and over. When Gus started getting dizzy, Justin pulled Gus into his arms and lifted him up, standing. He had one hand around Gus's waist and one hand in Gus's hand … He started waltzing them.

Emmett, noticing the change, shrugged. He smiled, reached out a hand, palm up, and bowed. "Milady … Care to dance?"

Debbie leaned her head to the left, placing her cheek against her shoulder and even batting her eyelashes … all shy and coquettish. Then she placed her hand in Emmett's. Soon Emmett was spinning Debbie, and, moments after that, they were waltzing, too.

Ted cleared his throat. He pointed out almost eagerly, "Look! You have a new daddy!"

Mikey had been hiding, his face buried in his hands. He glanced over at the 'dance floor' and groaned. "MA! Come on! You're killing me!"

She ignored him.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

The dancers all froze. Justin was still holding Gus's hand, both their arms extended, when Brian walked over to the door. But his eyes now wore an expression of terror. He knew who the person knocking must be. Seeing the look in Justin's eyes, Gus asked nervously, "Is it the Dark Queen?"

Justin nodded.

Gus exclaimed, "Oh no!"

Justin gently dropped his arm and held Gus closer, protectively.

Brian found himself taking a deep breath before sliding the door open.

To reveal Daphne. And Kayla.

When his eyes lighted on Daphne, Brian smiled a tight smile. "Hello."

Noticing Kayla, Gus whispered into Justin's ear (actually placing his mouth ON Justin's ear and hiding his mouth behind a hand), "Who is that?"

Justin cleared his throat (to suppress the giggle Gus had elicited by whispering so close) and smiled. "That … is Miss Kayla." He waved and smiled even more brightly, "Hi, Kayla!"

She smiled shyly and hid behind Daphne's leg.

Mikey, Ted, Emmett, and Debbie asked, accidentally in unison, "Kayla? Who's Kayla?"

Brian ran a hand over his face, and Justin frowned. Gus dropped his legs and wiggled his way down from Justin's arms. He actually ran over to the little girl. Then he extended his hand. "Hi, I'm Gus Peterson-Marcus. I'm Brian's son."

Kayla remained where she was, but she replied uncertainly, but loudly enough for everyone to hear. "Brian's nice. He bought me frozen yogurt. I'm Kayla Sutters." She looked up at Daphne. "This is my mom."

Justin's entire body tensed up on 'Sutters.'
