Well, people, thanks for all the kind and supportive reviews, follows and favourites. If weren't for you guys, id have lost my drive long ago. There is a kissing scene in this chapter, but not as long winding like in the LN, mainly because I honestly am not that good of a kisser and my girlfriend said that long kiss descriptions are cheeky and a mood-killer. Godou is a little more 'dark' as he won't spare people that easy. Anyways, read, enjoy and review.

Chapter 4

It was a sunny day in Tokyo, Japan. The clear blue sky without even a hint of clouds and the glorious Sun gave one the feeling that it was the perfect day to kick back and take it easy. Naturally, this weather foretold nothing of the upcoming disaster that was headed towards this megacity on the Far East of the globe. A disaster like no other...

A certain man in a creased grey suit and black rimmed glasses was strolling towards a almost hidden, elusive shrine. This would be the Nanao Shrine, literally, the shrine of seven heroes.

It was a Shinto shrine, and as it was not a very war-like religion, the shrine lacked the statues of any heroic figures at all. Moreover the shrine was quite isolated, being two hundred steps high.

The man passed under the Torii and headed to the shrine house, the abode of the Hime Miko he sought. The man in his mid twenties delicately rung the bell hung before the ceiling making it go chink... Chink... Chinggg...

The undecorated door of the shrine promptly opened, revealing the figure of the resident Hime-Miko or Princess Shrine Maiden who led prayers in this desolate shrine. The Hime Miko was in her mid- teens, with a delicately crafted beautiful face and long coffee coloured hair. In the traditional white and red attire of a Miko, this teen would be the very embodiment of a Yamato Nadeshiko, the perfect woman by Japanese standards with the perfect blend of beauty, bashfulness and adult charm.

"Ah, Amakasu-san! Ohiyo!" The Miko hurriedly bowed at a perfect 45 degree. In response, the suited man, Amakasu Touma only waved his hands lazily in return.

Such attitude what totally contrary to the grace news he was here to convey.

"Hmm... Mariya-san, it's been a while." Amakasu spoke frivolously, entering the shrine house. He sat at the table, waiting for Mariya Yuri, the resident Hime Miko to serve some green tea, over which the matter would be discussed.

The tea came quickly and it tasted fabulous, light and serene in it's simplicity just like Mariya Yuri, who sat opposite to Amakasu in a perfect seiza.

"What would a member of the History Compilation Committee want here?"

Yuri asked suspiciously.

"Oh, Mariya-san, I'm just a lowly civil servant. All my orders come from above, that is from the Old Ones, this time." Amakasu spoke waving his hands about.

The... Old Ones?!

That caught Mariya's attention. The Old Ones were a group of immortals who controlled the magic scene of Japan from the shadows. Then, even the History Compilation Committee would be at their beck and call.

"Anyways, do you know one Kusanagi Godou?" Amakasu asked light-heartedly.

But on the contrary, the Hime Miko blushed deeply, with her delicate face completely red up to her ears.

"G-Godou-san?!" Mariya exclaimed in poorly concealed alarm.

"Oh, you do know him!" Amakasu smiled happily.

"No! I-I mean..." Mariya Yuri's words died down in her throat as a yellow file was held up to her eyes. Amakasu wiped of his frivolous expression and set his lips in a grim line.

"Hime Miko Mariya Yuri, in consideration of your... schoolmate-ship and acquaintance with Kusanagi Godou, you are hereby tasked with confirming King Kusanagi's alleged status as a godslaying Campione."

Godou opened his eyes to an endless plane of white, on all directions. [The Netherworld] or [The Boundary between Life and Immortality] was the two most popular terms for it, coined by Western magi.

This was Godou's second visit here and if the last time was anything to go by a pinkette loli should be sitting...

"There." Godou verbally finished his though as the pinkette twin tailed loli in weird, but conservative clothes. She looked like a defective Hatsune Miku no matter how you slice it.

"You were thinking something reproachful, weren't you?" Said pinkette spoke in a surprisingly adult tone, not a trace of flamboyance in it. There was even a thoughtful expression totally contrary of what is expected of the wife of Epimetheus, the Titan of Hindsight.

Yes, this was Pandora, the witch goddess, wife of Epimetheus. After some research, Godou found that Pandora wasn't like other goddess who were dominated by [Gods of Steel] rather her myth produced Epimetheus, who is not a [God of Steel]. Pandora's root deity could be Clymene or Asia, an ancient Mother Earth Goddess, clearing the riddle of how a Titan and a woman even managed to consummate in the fist place.

"You look worried." (And comical) Godou stated, keeping the last part to himself.

"Humph! Took you long enough! A son should be more caring of his momma, shouldn't he? Honestly..." Pandora puffed out an exaggerated sigh.

"So, what is it?"

"Nothing, really. Should you be more concerned about yourself, Godou? You're currently being locked in a cellar by a shady cult." Pandora spoke carelessly, totally unconcerned of her 'son' being kidnapped.

"Oh, don't worry. She won't let you die, yet." Pandora quickly added.

"She?"

"Just the trouble-making witch. By the way, the god you just slayed was fake, called upon earth by that certain witch with the Holy Grail. So, I can't really grant you any [Authorities], just so you know." Pandora informed, leaving out much of the real detail.

'Come to think of it, Beelzebub was really weak.' Godou thought. But more importantly...

"The Holy Grail as in the cup Jesus drank from?"

"Yep! That's the one, the ultimate goal of the Knights of the Round Table. A vessel with the capacity of matching the power of more than a dozen [Heretic Gods] or Godslayers. That witch ultimately wants to resurrect the [Strongest Steel] who slays all Campiones of the era he awakens in. His name is Artus or Arthur Pendragon, the King of Knights. In the last era he fought with many gods and Godslayers, triumphing each and every time. He's actually an Argonaut from the Tale of Jason who once slayed a dragon. He also had an entourage of gods under him. Unfortunately, explaining won't do you any good as your memory of this place will be removed."

Godou could feel his consciousness slipping away, a feeling akin to falling endlessly. With a sudden jolt, Godou opened his eyes and tried to sit up, unsuccessfully.

.

.

.

Peering down, Godou found himself chained tightly to a steel framed bed and judging by the heavy scent of wine, this was indeed a cellar. The chains were barbed, designed to cause injury if one struggles. This level of precaution meant nothing to Godou, but even flesh wounds would be quite a hassle. Godou wouldn't puck the 'brute force' route while there was an alternative right in front of him.

A bored looking woman was quietly sitting on a table positioned opposite to the bed, sipping on some wine. The woman was in her early twenties, most likely and really possessed massive swells and curves along with slick black hair and green eyes, giving of a naughty-mature aura. The sheer silken gown hugging her body spared not a shed of modesty and only added to the allure.

"Oh, you're awake, Your Majesty." The woman noted.

"And I'm also in an S&M situation, care to explain?" Fortunately, Godou didn't focus too long on the woman's body and thus managed to avoid getting aroused. Godou's voice was mercifully even.

"To kill you, of course. They said something about 'crime of slaying their protector' or something of that notion." The woman smiled flippantly.

"They? As in?"

"The Occultists who are after you."

"Aren't you one of them?"

The woman laughed merrily, or drunkenly perhaps.

"Me? Oh no, my services were hired. None of those sorry excuses for magicians knew how to bypass your resistance to magic. Pitiful, aren't they?"

"That means the one trying to kill me, would be you." Godou accused straight forwardly but without anger or malice. Just as one would say, 'the sky is blue now'.

"No, no, no. I just pretended to apply death spells. Even if my spells had been the real deal, your Majesty would have surely found a way to prevent it. The cult followers are currently brain storming about how to do way with your Majesty." The woman easily revealed the information Godou wanted.

"Okay. Could you release me, now, miss umm?"

"Myra." She finished.

With a snap of her fingers, the chains and charms over Godou's body came off immediately as though it had been pre-organized. The woman, Myra's goal was probably garnering a favour out of the Seventh Campione.

"Very well, your Majesty, I shall take my leave. See you soon!" Myra left through the large wooden door, but not before taking one last sip of the wine.

Three words which describe Myra would be 'clever', 'easy going' and 'stacked', Godou noted in his mind.

Tentatively the Campione got up on and stretched out a bit. His bones were all set in the position he was bound in and the cracking sounds they made when stretched was thoroughly gratifying. Godou must have been out for quite long as his throat was parched, nothing a little wine can't cure.

An immediate dizziness assaulted Godou's body and mind as soon as he emptied the glass of wine.

Sardinian wine was famous due to it allegedly elongating one's life span. But this wine was...

Unusual...

Strong...

Fortified...

That's how far Godou's cognitive process went before he took another swig from the wine bottle directly. Wine never tasted so good...

.

.

.

Lucretia Zola and Erica Blandelli had both been kidnapped just after Kusanagi Godou. Weakened from the aftereffects of the battle between Verethragna and Melqart, Lucretia was quite weakened along with Erica who would take a much longer time to heal from Beelzebub's [Demonic Possession]. Even so the low level occultists were surprised when the Witch of Sardinia and the [Great Knight] of [Copper Black Cross] obediently surrendered without a fight.

"Even though they said it's for our good behaviour, I bet those guys are scared shitless."

"Ara ara, my reputation preceded me."

Erica made idle talk with Lucretia, while sitting comfortably on a soft bed, sipping on some wine, like all true Italians do so often.

One look from Lucretia was enough to convey that they were not having any of the 'chained and gagged' drama. Calling upon all his courage, the cloaked leader stated that Lucretia and Erica were left unbound for their 'good behaviour'.

It had already been three hours and things were quickly becoming boring. There want much to do in an abandoned cellar on the outskirts of the town.

Creak...

Both the knight and the witch turned to the direction of the room where the Devil King was kept and found him in the flesh, slightly wobbling toward them.

"Oh, Godou, finally awake I see." Erica stated, cheerful that they could finally get out.

"And drunk as well." Lucretia finished mischievously, seeing drunk young man groping at the air.

"Erica, Lucretia... Captured?" Godou blinked several times, trying to produce a clearer image of the two figures sitting on the bed.

Yes, the glorious blonde and flaxen haired beauty couldn't be anyone but Erica Blandelli and Lucretia Zola, two famous women in the Italian magic community.

The Devil Kings eyes were inexplicably drawn to the women's bountiful bosoms, their shapely legs and waist. Under the affect of the wine, Kusanagi Godou slowly gave in the impulses of a man as his eyes fed on the lovely face and figure of the women before him, all his to take.

"Oh don't look at us like that. Our mana are as good as gone, you know. Even sitting up like this takes quite the effort. Hurry up and do something!" No sooner had Erica got those words out of her mouth, than she found herself pressed strongly again the bed, her lips sealed by Godou's own. Both her hands were pinned down beside her and her legs straddled by the drunken Godslayer.

Godou's tongue explored Erica's mouth and wrestled with her own frantic one. Erica trashed about underneath him but calmed down as she felt divine aura pour into her body directly from Godou's hot and rough kiss. An otherworldly feeling overwhelmed Erica as pure divine aura filled every cell of her body. Instinctively, she responded in kind to Godou's kiss, accepting the divine aura into herself. The instincts of a lady killer were rooted even deeper into Godou's mind than those of a man. Even under the effect of alcohol, Kusanagi Godou wouldn't disregard the girl even if he is a little wild.

Feeling Erica's resistance weaken Godou released her arms and broke the kiss for breathing. He nibbled and caressed Erica's luscious lower lips as her delicious moans overwhelmed his control.

But Godou wouldn't be a Kusanagi if one woman was enough for him. The Devil King's attention turned to Lucretia who was feeling rather left out. Godou promptly pulled her down beside Erica and kissed the mature woman even rougher than before.

The witch was more responsive as her arms immediately wrapped around Godou's neck, pulling him for a more passionate kiss. Lucretia had much more experience is kissing then Erica and skilfully applied all her technique. As before, her magic deficiency was cured by Godou's divine aura.

Godou vaguely felt Lucretia apply some kind odd spell on him orally as his mental reasoning started recovering. An entire fifteen minutes after the start of the ordeal, Godou finally realised what he was doing. Even so, seeing the lack of resistance or lack of initiative of either Erica or Lucretia, he continued for a while longer. With much tiredness and reluctance, Godou finally got off the dame and the witch and straightened himself.

There was great variety in the expressions of the three individuals. The Devil King had a bashful smile which seemed to say 'My bad' while the female knight was beet red and breathless from her first true kiss with a boy. The witch was clearly amused and maybe impressed at Godou's spark of manliness.

"Fufufu… How underhanded of you, Your Highness. When did you learn that wonderful [Contagious Aphrodisiac Spell] that managed to overwhelmed even me? Well, nothing less from a Kusanagi. Fufufu…'" Lucretia spoke lightly even though she was breathless like Erica and Godou.

"[Contagious Aphrodisiac Spell]? Like a Magic Ecstasy?"

"Close enough, but the spell is continuously reapplied to the person you orally make contact with, until and unless a counter spell is applied. It's truly a troublesome spell. Had I not applied that counter spell, who knows what we might have done? Well not that I'm against it. Kukuku…" Lucretia said with a suggestive wink while directing her gaze towards Erica, who was still out of it. Godou and Lucretia were both graduates but the same couldn't be said for Erica, judging from her reaction to a kiss. Losing her virginity in this way would be bit much, and Godou would truly feel guilty if that were to happen.

"It must have been the wine that woman left…" Godou muttered.

"That woman?" Lucretia asked, raising an eyebrow.

"The woman, I think she said it was Myra, who was in my room. You know, the woman with black hair and green eyes?" Godou described what he recalled about that particularly noticeable woman who named herself as Myra.

"Young man, we've been here for the last three hours and no such woman entered or left that room. Well actually all the occultists who went in there were definitely male."

Godou gagged at Lucretia's queer way of saying things. Still a invisible woman is quite concerning although it would be right up Godou's alley. After fighting life or death battles with [Heretic Gods], a ghost or a spirit was child's play after all.

"Strange, I guess. But there are things that must be taken care of immediately." Erica interjected in an even tone, finally recovering from her catatonic episode.

"Leave it to me. Take it as my way of apologizing." Godou offered well naturedly.

"Eh? Y-You don't need to apologize, really! After all I did enjoy it…." Erica modestly replied in a barely audible tone. Godou and Lucretia knew better than to laugh at her honest confession, besides Godou was quite happy inside.

"Okay, wait a bit." Godou called out as he promptly went up the stairs of the cellar, finding the broken remains of a rather large house all around him. Through the corridor, Godou arrived at a place which could be called the living room, judging by the size, furniture and rather ornate hearth built in the crumbling wall.

In the room, five cloaked figures were discussing something, before one of them noticed the approaching Devil King.

"Monster!"

"Stay away!"

Such reactions were garnered from the younger two of the five cloaked figures, who raised their arms and held up some kind of charms as if they could repel Godou.

The other three were trying to discreetly ready their spells, waiting to strike Godou at an opportune moment. But Godou would let them as he sensed not even the lowest level of danger from whatever spell they would apply.

"Filthy Devil King! For the crime of slaying Verethragna-sama, we shall enact Judgement upon you!" The fanatics roared and let loose their magic. But they all were nullified even before making contact with Godou. It wasn't just Godou's overwhelming amount of aura, but also the truly pitiful level of magic they applied, which wouldn't even scratch Erica, let alone a Godslayer like Kusanagi Godou.

Godou smirked at the terrified expressions of the occultists.

The truly sadistic smile only terrorized them even more.

"Lemme tell you how it's gonna be. I'm gonna count from one to ten and then im gonna vaporize you. Now scram!" Wisely the Occultists listened to his advice as they hurriedly made for the door. Outside, they frantically raced through the wide open meadow.

"Twenty." Godou stated as he raised his arms and shot five blue bolts of lightning towards the running men, vaporising them in an instant. Taking human life didn't affect Godou as much as it should have, as it was justified by their deed of trying to kill him in turn.

"You evil man." Erica said with a smile while walking up beside him.

"I'm a Devil King, after all."
