Welcome everyone to the very last chapter of On a train to Canada. I'll have the epilog out as soon as I can. The sequel will be out as soon as I finish my Christmas story, in February, I know. Any how, the next story will be called 'On the road to recovery' because people will be hurt physically and emotionally, ya, that's all I have to say, so enjoy the final chapter of this story.

Hiccup laid on his bed staring at the wall, this was the last day on the ship, which also happens to be his last day with Astrid. He looked over at his best friend who was snuggled up with both of the dogs, sleeping soundly. Jackson had told him that they should arrive at the docks around noon, get on a train, then travel to New Brunswick where he would be dropped off, they would get there around three o'clock in the afternoon. Then travel at least 14 hours straight before getting to Ontario. It was going to be a long day, especially for Astrid.

Hiccup crawled out of bed and walked over to Astrid to wake her up, it was almost noon already, and he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible.

"Wake up sleeping beauty."

"Hmm?"

"Time to get up! We'll arrive in Halifax in about a half hour, we need to finish packing!"

"No! I don't wanna get up!"

"Astrid, we only have so much time left together! Please get up!"

Astrid sat up, then got out of bed and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. They stayed like that for a few seconds before Stormfly pushed them apart.

"No! Stormfly! Bad dog!" Astrid winned at Stormfly.

"Are you hungry Milady?"

"A little, ya."

"Then let's go get lunch!"

"Ya, let's go." She said and smiled at him.

They left for lunch, then came back after and finished packing, and there was soon a loud knock on their door.

"Grab your bags kids! We can see the main land from here, only about ten minutes before we arrive!" Jackson said from the other side of the door.

"Ok Jack we'll be right there!" Astrid yelled back.

Then the two quickly grabbed their baggage and clipped on their dogs leashes and headed in the direction of the exit.

000000

The ten minutes had gone by quickly, and soon they were at the docks, on the shores of Nova Scotia. Hiccup and Astrid walked hand in hand down the ramp, both of them wearing the warmest clothes they could fined, for it was about -40°C outside. They trudged through the snow that came up past their knees.

"Hic-cup it's so c-cold."

"The trains just up there, we'll get in soon and get you all warmed up." He whispered and wrapped his free arm around her shoulders.

When they arrive at the train station, they handed James and Jackson their luggage and boarded the train. They sat in the nearest seat to the right, and snuggled up together, then they played cards, eye spy, and even charades with the other kids. But sadly, the three hour trip had ended a little to quickly for the young couple. But next thing they knew they were pulling into the train station in Fredericton.

Hiccup began to gather his things when he felt Astrid's hand rest on his.

"Hiccup?" she asked.

"Yes Astrid." he replied.

"I-I don't, I don't-"

"You don't what?"

"I don't want you to go! Don't go! Please don't go!" She whimpered and her bottom lip began trembling. "Please."

"Astrid, please don't cry, your gonna make me cry too!" He said as she buried her face into his chest. "It's gonna be ok. We'll see each other again soon."

"Promise?"

"You have my word." He answered and kissed the top of her head.

"I love you so much Henry."

"I love you so much more."

"I love you to the moon and back."

"Oh, so that's how its gonna be?" Hiccup said and smirked.

"That's exactly how it's gonna be." she said and gave him a devilish smile.

"Well then, I love you to the sun and back."

"I love you to Pluto and back."

"Oh ya!? Well I love you to Pluto and back and back and back!"

"Ok you win, but I still love you more!" Astrid chuckled and kissed him on the lips again. When they broke apart and he began to leave Astrid remembered something very important. "Hiccup! Wait!"

"Yes milady?" He looked over and saw her pulling a camera out of her bag.

"Common, we need at lest one picture each, to remember each other right?"

"Oh, fine." he smiled.

The pair and their dogs all posed together and took two pictures, and usually, the pictures then would have been taken of people with no smiles, but their non stop laughter got them both wonderful pictures of them huddled up together, for one last time.

Once the pictures were taken and the photos exchanged it was definitely time for them to say their final goodbyes. They stared lovingly into each others eyes, and kissed one more time before Hiccup left the train, and they were off again.

Astrid just stared out the window of the train until they arrived at her new home. Jackson wrapped an arm around her shoulders as they walked to their car.

"It will be fine, you'll see." He said as they climbed into the car. "You two can still write each other, send each other letters." Jackson looked over at her, her eyes widened in fear. "What's wrong, Astrid?!"

A single tear slipped down her cheek. "N-no I can't."

"Why not?"

"I never asked for his address. I'm such an idiot." Astrid sobbed.

"Your not an idiot Astrid, just remember what he said."

"That he'd be coming back."

"And that he loved you to Pluto and back and back and back!" Jackson smirked.

"You were listening weren't you?"

"Indeed I was. Just remember that though, he loves you, and do you know how the old saying goes?" he said and she shook her head no. "If you love something"

"Or someone." she interrupted.

"As I was saying, if you love something, set it free, if it comes back to you, then it's yours."

"It better come back."

"It will you just wait."

"Promise?"

"I promise."

And that, my friends, is the end of On a train to Canada. I hope you enjoyed reading it, I worked hard on it. Also, thanks PoopyPatuti and Asgardian for life for giving me great ideas. I would have never written this story if it hadden't been for my Sc. studies teacher, or physical education teacher (we were doing the CPR unit). I will try to have the epilog out by next week. I feel like I ended it horribly, I suck at endings. Thank you all so much for reading, and I hope to see you all again soon!
