Grace POV

The next day brought a lot of changes and more confusion. I had been moved to the princess suite at the queens request. Paige and Tamina were moved with me and they were so happy. I had already put Magnus back into the army and Brie was my personal assistant like Stephanie was to the queen. I felt bad about the king because I really didn't know what was going on. I liked that dean and the queen had stood up for themselves, but everything happened so quickly.

"I am going to talk to the other girls." Dean said and I nodded.

I knew that we were going to announce it today that I had been chosen. My Dad and siblings were already being flown to the palace. I was more excited to see them than anyone.

"Are you alright?" Brie asked me as she came into my suite. I was staring into the mirror and at a loss for what to actually do right now.

"Yeah, just a little lost." I admitted and she smiled at me.

"You are going to do great." she said and I smiled. The queen had been right when she said that some of us would be best friends after this experience.

"Thanks. I wonder how the other girls will take it?" I asked her and she shrugged.

"Aj will be crazy and Eva Marie will be fine." she said and we busted out laughing. Aj probably would freak out. I felt for Dean about that, but oh well.

Dean POV

I was walking with Seth and Magnus. I was happy, excited, and nervous all at the same time. We were going to meet with the rebels about what to do with my father. I walked in and found the guy and girl waiting on us.

"I am John and this is Renee." he said and I shook their hands.

"It's nice to be able to talk to you without any problems." I said and they nodded.

We spent the next hour talking and discussing everything. They were willing to dissolve and become real citizens in the country. They were going to join the army and be useful fighting the rest of the rebels. They were also going to take my father to an island for exile. I felt bad, but I knew that things would be worse if we didn't have him out of the picture. I wanted this to more forward and I wanted Grace beside me.

"Dean, Grace's family is here." Stephanie said as we were done with the meeting. I had wanted to meet with her father first. I walked into the library and found him looking at books. He turned and smiled at me. I immediately shook his hand.

"Thank you for meeting with me before seeing Grace." I said and he nodded. I motioned for us to sit down. He followed suit and I took a deep breath.

"I asked Grace to marry me." I said and his smile got bigger.

"I also know that you have helped out with rebel movements. I have made a true with the peaceful ones. I don't know if you know the leader, John, but we are on the same terms now. I know that you helped out in your area. I wanted to know if you all would move closer to the palace and be on my table to deal with any future problems." I said and he looked a bit stunned at the news I had just thrown at him.

"I can do that, but I want to tell Grace. She doesn't know that I am a rebel. I am sure she will take it fine, but I want to tell her." he said and I nodded.

"That's fine with me. Thank you for meeting with me first." I said and stood up. He stood up and I shook his hand.

"Thank you for making my daughter happy." he said and I couldn't help but smile.

Grace POV

I was sitting in the common room when the door came flying open. I looked over to see June and David running for me. I smiled and hugged them. I was so happy to see my family.

"You look like a princess!" June said and I kissed her cheek. David threw himself at me and I held onto him.

"You do look like a princess." another voice said and I looked up to see Dad. I hugged him. I was so glad to see him.

"Congrats, sweetie." he said and I couldn't help but smile.

"I need to talk to you." Dad said and Brie stepped in. She took June and David to get snacks.

"Is everything ok?" I asked him.

"Yes, I talked to Dean. I am happy with you, but you need to know something first." he said and I felt dread.

"I am a rebel, Grace. I always have been. I kept it from you because of you mother. She didn't like it, but understood that I wanted a better life you for all. Dean knows this and wants me to help when needed." he said and I was stunned. I mean it made sense, but I was still shocked.

"Ok." I managed to say. I didn't really know what to say.

Randy (Grace's Dad) POV

I was talking to Grace about being a rebel. I honestly wasn't sure how she would take it. She seemed almost at a loss about it.

"Ok?" I asked her.

"I don't know what else to say. I felt like everyone lied or was never real themselves, so why not you too?" she asked me as she got up and left room. I sighed and knew that she was right. She didn't know what to do or believe right now. She had just had a life changing event, but she look 100% sure about it.
