Dean POV

I told AJ and Eva. AJ was pissed and left immediately. She was going to take the first plane back to her area. I wasn't exactly sad to see her go. Eva was happy for me and revealed that she was going to support me and Grace because she was a rebel. Grace was right… everyone was rebels. I wasn't complaining, but I was apparently blind up until this point. I offered Eva that ability to live in the city right outside the palace and she accepted. I wanted her to work with the rebels here. I wanted everything to change and my reign to be nothing like my fathers.

"Dean, Grace has disappeared." Seth said and I was shocked, upset, and scared all at once.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"She spoke with her father, he revealed his role with the rebels, and she walked out." he said and I growled.

"Find her!" I said and he ran off. I had enough to deal with and now Grace was gone. I didn't blame her for being upset, but I didn't want to deal with this right now. I couldn't stand to loose her. I sent a guard to check on my mother.

I was walking down the main stairs when a guard passed me. I noticed a neck tattoo. I knew that my guards weren't allowed to have them. I quickly made my way to Justin. He was making his way to look for Grace.

"We have been breached. The guard going up the left side of the stairs has a neck tattoo. We have to stop this." I whispered and he became rigid. I knew that he realized that someone had stolen our uniforms and we didn't know how many of them there were.

"I will follow him. Magnus needs to be alerted and the friendlies." he said and I nodded. I knew that I should know this, but he was the army person. I also knew that because of his relationship with Grace he would want to find her faster. I quickly found Magnus and told him.

Magnus POV

I was in panic mode when Dean told me what was going on. He hadn't caused panic yet, and I knew that right now that was good thing.

"Go, get the queen, and go to that spot. I will make up a false threat to alert everyone. The rebels will help me." I said and he nodded.

"Grace?" he asked me.

"Not yet, sir." I said and he nodded, but walked towards his mother's suite.

I went, quickly, to find John. He was in the room with Stephanie and a few other guards.

"May I speak to you?" I asked him and he nodded. I pulled him to the side of the room.

"We have been breached by the northern rebels. Justin is following on in our uniforms with a neck tattoo. I have sent Dean to get the Queen and hide. Grace is missing, but I need your help getting them out of the palace immediately." I said and he sighed.

"We have a code word. If I were to say 'fast lane' to you, then you should respond with 'what a joke'." he said and I nodded.

"Please, help us look." I said and he nodded.

"I am going to call a false threat and get all the guards in the main foyer. I want them weeded out now." I said and he nodded.

"Also, have Renee and Stephanie look for Grace." I said and he nodded.

We walked back over and they looked at us.

"Renee and Stephanie, I need you to help us with something. I need the rest of the guards to leave." I said and they all turned to leave, but I saw one with a tattoo also on his neck.

"Wait, you come back." I said. He complied and the rest left. I shared a look with John before he grabbed the guy. I held a knife to his neck as he started laughing.

"How many of you are there?" I asked him and he laughed.

"It was so easy to get in here. You all are stupid." he said and I stabbed him in the leg. He gasped and fought against John.

"Now, how many are there?" I asked him.

"I won't tell you, but I will tell you that the girls… all of them are dead." he said and I instantly worried about Grace and Brie.

"Liar." I said and stabbed him in the thigh again.

"I don't lie. You can't win this." he said and I sighed. I got ready to stab him again. He was really struggling as Renee handed me a gun. He was surprised by this action. I was still going to stab him in the leg.

"Wait." he said and I looked at him.

"I want something for this." he said.

"Not dying is an option." I said and he nodded.

"Protection." he said and I sighed.

"How many are there?" John asked as he squeezed his neck tighter and the guy gasped.

"50…. all guards." he said and I looked at John. He nodded and we heard a distinctly snap come from the guys neck. John hadn't made any deals with him.

"Renee and Stephanie, go find the girl. I don't know who else other than Grace and Brie." I said and they nodded.

I radioed and told Justin what was going on. He radioed back he had taken care of the one he was following. I hit the alarm button and prayed that everyone was going to be ok.
