Hey guys. This will be deleted soon but I figured I owed you, my dear readers, an explanation as to why I have not updated at all in months.
I've kind of grown out of BBC Sherlock. I guess once you've watched something enough times and then are given ample time between episodes to think about it, you see all the problematic stuff. It feels sort of painful writing about a couple that the show constantly uses to queerbait the viewers. The actors, the writing, everything about the show is leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth lately.
And who knows, maybe when the next season comes around it will redeem itself and I'll be back to writing for you guys as usual, but for now I think it's time for me to take a break.
I still love the Sherlock Holmes characters, and I think I might keep writing here for other fandoms (though I have been thinking about getting an A03 account which I will update you guys with that if I do) and I thank you all for your faithful reading and reviewing. You guys mean the world to me and I'm sorry to give you this "don't know if I'll every write for Sherlock again" speech. Here's hoping the next season will inspire me to keep writing!
