Of All the Flowers

Summary: "I'm so happy I met you"

Sorry for the long wait. Excuse my errors, it's been long since I had updated and I swear my writings are getting rusty. This is pretty short. Anyways hope you'll like it.

The night was lavish. The moon was up on the inky blue sky, shining splendidly. Stars filled the sky with wonders and blinked like expensive diamonds. Cold winds blew making everyone gasp and hug their coats tighter around their body.

Peace was something that everyone was experiencing.

Well, that was to everyone except Gray Fullbuster.

Because for Gray, this must be the most annoying night ever. Well, last night was annoying, and the other night too, and—arghh every night was annoying.

His parents were celebrating like crazy teenagers who finished their finals. "You should see how cool he was when he gave her the box" Silver excitedly said, his wife cooed and praised Gray.

Mika had this proud smile plastered on her face as she nodded her head towards Gray's direction, indicating that she approved. "Oh dear I'm sure that Juvia-chan will be head over heels for our cool Gray."

Gray's dark keen eyes watched as his mother clasped her hands together, her eyes shined dreamily. The dark haired teen rolled his eyes at his mother, really, she's a drama queen.

"With that, I'm sure Juvia-chan and My Gray will soon be wedded." Gray choked on the beans he was eating. He gulped down a glass of water. His father stood up and hugged his wife, twirling her while laughing. "Juvia-chan will be our daughter!"

"And they will give us 30 grandchildren!" Gray spit out the wine he was sipping. 30?! Really, 30 grandchildren?!He did not even know if it was possible. His parents were unbelievable.

Though, he knew that baby making was very pleasurable for him, and it did not hurt that Juvia was beautiful, not to mention her drop dead gorgeous body, her big —he gulped—breasts, they looked so warm, so soft and cuddly, those wonderful legs that goes on and on, if you ask him, he only wanted two, or maybe three kids but that—Wait..Why was he thinking this?! Arghh, he roughly grabbed his hair in frustration, he hoped that his parents stopped singing; it was well-known that the Fullbuster's were not gifted in music.

He grabbed his coat, said thanks to their maid and made his way towards the door. The dark-haired teen did not even bother to say goodbye to his parents, he was sure they would not even hear him anyway; they were too drowned into their fantasies. He whipped the door open, ready to embrace the cold night, but what he saw made him frozen.

Standing in front of him, sporting a cute blue coat that complimented her hair was none other than the daughter of the owner of the Flower shop down the street. Juvia Lockser, the one that gave him insomnia, the one who made his parents beg him for grandkids, that one that made him smile for no reason, the one that made him want to be sociable, the one who made his heart race—okay?, enough with the descriptions. Hope you guys get the picture.

Juvia standing beneath his chin, blinked cutely up at him. The cold night air made her cheeks pinker than it was before. "e-EH? Gray-sama, good evening" she bowed and that was when it struck to him that Juvia was in front of him at his freaking house.

"Juvia! What are you doing here?" he asked, he flinched at how rude it went out. She was about to answer when his mother's voice rang. "Did you just say Juvia?"

Soon followed by his dad's voice, asking "Is Juvia-chan here?" Gray face palmed upon hearing some commotions inside their house and not long after, his parents were on his back, sporting the biggest smile he had ever seen on them.

"Juvia-chan, you're here!" they both cheered. They took hold of Juvia's hands, a troubled expression armored her beautiful face, and the only thing Gray could do was gawk. He was in it too deep, too deep.

Juvia quickly bowed "Good evening, Mika-san, Silver-san" Mika brushed Juvia's greeting with a swept of her hand and pulled her in. Juvia's baby blue eyes blinked innocently at them. "What did I tell you about calling me Mika-san? I want you to call me Mother!" Mika insisted. The younger woman could not help but spout some nonsense, her whole face started to become red.

"Don't forget about me, Call me Father, Juvia-chan" Silver cheerily offered, to which the young woman just smiled awkwardly.

Gray just followed them inside, so much for having some alone time for himself.

"Oh, Juvia-chan, you were right on time." Mika pushed Juvia on a chair, eliciting a gasp from the blunette.

"We are just eating" Silver took hold of Mika's hand and Gray could swore that there were sparkles everywhere. "Our dream of having a daughter –"

"—and grandchildren"

"—will soon come true." Mika giggled "Oooooooh, this is soo fun."

Blue hair flew from different sides; Juvia raised her hands in a surrender manner. That gesture caught the Fullbuster couple's attention. Feeling the attention on her, Juvia poked her fingers together. Her cheeks dusted with pink hue. The couple silently gushed at how cute Juvia looked; they could imagine how their grandkids would look like.

"Gomen, but Juvia has to go home soon." The couple immediately deflated like balloons. Upon seeing their expressions Juvia hurriedly fished something from her coat.

She thrust the bag towards them. The couple blinked at her. "This is something Juvia cooked, since Silver-san and Gray-sama did not eat at home, Mother and Juvia thought to give you some, Juvia hopes you'll like it."

"Aww, thank you dear."

Gray, who was watching from the door, smiled. He would be honest he had never seen his mother nor his father this happy before, heck, they were downright rigid, they never smile unless they had to—whenever they were in business meetings—his parents were not that annoying back then. Don't get him wrong it did not mean he blamed Juvia for his parent's behavior, in all honesty, he was glad that they liked her. Soo glad.

Still, he wished they stop nagging him for grandkids.

He's only 19 years old for Christ sake.

And Juvia…his eyes trailed back to the blunette. He watched as his parents laughed at her when she ate something bitter, his lips quirked into a smile, she's so cute.

When Juvia caught his sight, he felt his heart lurched inside his chest, she quickly looked away, her cheeks redder from before, and she casted a shy smile at him. He swore his cheeks were red as well. He looked away from her gaze, only to land his eyes on his parents who were snickering behind their hands.

Clearing his throat, he went towards Juvia. "It's getting late now—"

He heard his parents whine from behind

"— I'll walk you home."

They cheered. When he looked down at JUvia, she was blushing madly and avoided his gaze. She stood up and thanked his parents. "Thank you, Mika-san, Silver-san." His mother had this saccharine smile, to which he rolled his eyes on, while his father had this smug face directed at him.

"Sorry if Juvia overdue her stay."

"Ahh, it's nothing, In fact you can stay here as long as you want" Gray knew that his mother had something planned. Mika took hold of Juvia's hand, the smaller woman yelped in surprise. "In fact you can stay here forever."

"Mom, that's enough—" Gray gently took his mother away from Juvia.

"—If you want you can live here"

"mom!"

"—if you want you can take Gray's room"

"What the?!"

"—or… you can sleep next to him."

"Mom!"

"—and start making my grandkids."

"MOM!"

"What?" when Mika looked at Juvia, she swore you could fry eggs on her face. She apologetically giggled. Silver was just on the side watching with amusement. He knew that his wife could handle this, no need for him to interfere.

Gray and Juvia were silently walking side by side. An awkward silence settled between the two.

"I—"

"Juv—"

Blush dusted their ample cheeks. Gray could not remember how many times he had blushed because of her. "You go first" he offered. He watched as she shook her head. "Gray-sama should go first."

"No, ladies first."

She pouted at him, blew her cheeks, and Gray felt his insides twist, his heart drummed inside his chest. "Damn it, she's so cute."

"Juvia wanted to hear what Gray-sama wanted to say."

Even if it's hard, he ripped his gaze away from her, because he knew he would be long dead if he continued staring at her, he did not know if his heart could handle the feels. "o-okay." He croaked out.

"I'm sorry about my parents, they can really be annoying—"

"No, G-Gray-sama should not apologize; Mika-san and Silver-san were very hospitable…and kind to Juvia." Juvia supplied him with a sweet smile tha sent his heart into overdrive.

"ahh." He tugged on his coat's sleeves, feeling self-conscious; he brushed his hair with his hand. Blowing some air to relieve some tension, silence once again landed on them. Gray lifted his gaze, the sky lightened with the stars.

"I'm so happy I met you." Her voice was so soft that Gray thought he was hearing things. It was the first time he had heard her speak in a normal way.

"Eh?"

He did not even notice that they stopped walking and were stargazing. When she felt his stare at her, her face flushed with a beautiful shade of red. "I do not have that much of friends, so I am happy I met you." She whispered he last part, it was so airy, so breathy that Gray felt his face flushed from how soft it sounded. It meant a lot for him, hearing her talk normally, and her, telling him that she was happy she met him.

His heart was soaring right now, he did not know what to do except smile. He gave her the sweetest smile he could muster. She deserved it. She deserved all the love. Almost stealthily, he gently took her hand, when she stared at him with those wide eyes, he swore he was a goner. "well, I'm happy I met you too."

She gave him a watery smile, "I love you."

"what?"

"eh?!" Juvia's face quickly contorted into panic, her face red like a tomato, her arms were flailing uncontrollably, she tried to walk away from him but he gripped her hand tighter.

His warm hands cupped her cheeks steadily; he made her look at him. "You said , you love me?"

"e-eh?"

He gulped a big portion of air. His breathing coming unsteadily, "Tell me, say it again, tell me you love me."

Black clashed with blue, Juvia stared back, with tears in her eyes, she whispered "I—I love you, Gray-sama"

He chuckled, he did not know how to react. "You love me? Oh God, Juvia I love you too."

He pulled her flush towards his body, he heard her squeak when he twirled her around, he could not help the chuckle that rumbled inside his chest.

When he put her down, they were both smiling like idiots, Juvia looked up at him, shyly and expectantly. Gently and slowly, he leaned in, he smiled when she closed her eyes, he breathed in her scent and planted a kiss on her forehead.

Juvia was expecting a kiss, but not on her forehead, when she opened her eyes, he pouted at Gray, but when she saw him looking fondly at her, she could not help but smile back. Wrapping her arms around his torso, the only thought that came into her mind was "It was nice".

Mika was on her way to the kitchen and make herself some milk when she saw her son walking down the hall. There's something different about him.

She just could not put her finger unto.

She shrugged it off like the other times, she was about to walk upstairs when she heard a crash, she knew that he would be cursing a lot, sometimes she wondered where she got that, but instead what she heard next made her eyebrow hit her hairline.

Gray was laughing.

Her son, who's 19 years old, who was so cool, who does not smile even at the cutest things, was laughing.

Hysterically.

Yup, something happened tonight. And she was sure it involved a pretty little blunette.

She had this feeling that her dream of having grandkids is coming near. She giggled. Mika could not wait to tell Silver, boy he would be so glad.
