(A/N: Well, this will be my first chapter from Orange Park, hopefully can start pumping them out like way back in December again, but that's enough for now, let's get on with the chapter)

Link's PoV

As I awoke for the dayI remembered that today was the day Rainbow Dash and the others came back. I grinned in my excitement I said "Alright, no more sleeping alone." It wasn't until a second later that something registered in my brain… my voice was several pitches higher than when I went to sleep.

I jumped from the cloud bed and looked at my body I froze, shocked by what I saw, my figure had shrunk to nearly the size of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, my wings and horn shrunk down to stay proportional to my body. I let out a disgruntled sigh and put all of my disproportional clothes into one of my magical pouches, and when I finished I tucked the pouch under one of my wings.

I heard the vague noise of hooves on the soft cloud and the door opened as Rainbow stuck her head in, "Hey Link I…" was what rainbow said before she saw me, several seconds later she fell over laughing.

I rolled my eyes and waited for her to finish laughing, and after a bit I asked "About done yet Rainbow?"

She chuckled for a little longer and wiped her eye with her wing and sighed "Do you know how this happened?" she asked. I shook my head and she sighed. "Welp," she said "I guess were going to go see if she can help with this."

"That's cool and all, but it's going to take time adjusting to a new body or that of a child, I don't know how to fly with a body of this size, unless it's all the same and I'm making a Dragon of a lizard." I said to Rainbow.

"A Dragon of a Lizard." Was her reply, I nodded and flapped my wings and flew a couple inches above the cloud to get a feel for it and nodded.

"Alright, we can go." I said after a few minutes of flying around. And flew out the window that was big enough for rainbow to fit through and started to glide over Ponyville and towards Twilight's Library.

I landed at the door of the Golden Oaks shortly after Rainbow did and knocked on the door. Spike opened the door and smiled "Hey Rainbow, do you want me to get Twilight?"

"Yeah, do you mind if me and Link come in?" asked Rainbow, Spike looked confused until he saw me and a grin grew on his face.

"Give me a minute to go and get Twilight." Said Spike as his grin grew bigger and bigger.

"I don't like that shit eating grin he had." I grumbled more to myself that to Dash, but she still turned around and scolded me for my language.

"You may have the mind of an 19 year old, but you're in the body of an 8 year old, so don't speak like that or the CMC might say those words and get scolded by their sisters!"

I opened my mouth to retort but the door opened and twilight asked "Is there anything I can help with? Spike said Link had a childish problem."

"Yeah, I have a childish problem and him saying that is not helping…" I somewhat snapped backed, her eyes widened and she giggled a bit but straightened up after a second and moved aside to let us in.

"So, your problem is having the body of a child. So, when did this happen?" Twilight asked getting straight to the point.

"Well, when I woke up I was like this, last thing I did last night was wonder through the nearby Everfree forest." I answered her with an annoyed grumble. Twilight smiled lightly and asked me which part of the Everfree so I told her "The part that borders Sweet Apple Acers, why?"

"Did you happen to walk through some blue Flowers?" she asked me and I nodded she giggled slightly and said "I'll go to Zecora for the Poison Joke remedy." I cocked my head to the side slightly a little confused but shrugged and curled up into a ball to sleep for a bit.

~~Line Break~~

I wake with a start as I was unceremoniously dropped into a tub filled with herb filled water. I gasp and look around to see who dropped me and came face to face with Rainbow dash.

"Why did you drop me into the water?" but as I talk I notice my voice deeper than when I had gone to sleep.

"The remedy works faster if you're submerged in the water." She replies before dropping my things on the ground and flying into another room. After a couple of minutes I got out of the water and dried myself. I quickly dressed and was about to walk into the other room when I felt a great force pulling me from behind, I yelp and was pulled into a portal of some kind, the last thing I saw was Rainbow Dash flying towards the portal and then everything was black.
