"It's black magic I tell you." One of the sailors said. "There's a curse over the prince." he stated.

"Don't be ridiculous!" Hawk spat. "Porter's always had a weak heart, the son of a bitch had it coming." He muttered. "And John was always unlucky." he added and shook his head. "The prince isn't cursed and he's going back to that blasted kingdom."

Kendall glared at the door to his cell. He was completely isolated in there and the only way out was through that four inch thick door. The young prince knew it wouldn't matter which side of the door he was on, he was still on an enemy ship. So he decided to stay exactly where he was and kill every single one that came though that door.

"Y-Your majesty?" A voice rang out and the door opened. The blond's skin immediately lit up and his eyes flared green. Kendall glared at the man who entered the room and muttered out every single bad word he knew, hissing and growling out his anger and the man gulped a bit and quickly exited the room and disappeared out of sight.

The blond silenced down and let out a breath. His eyes slowly went back to normal and his skin cooled down.

Hawk sighed and watched the man stumble out from under deck and then collapsed on the floor. "What now?" Hawk sighed and another sailor was sent to check on the fallen pirate.

"H-He's dead, captain!" The sailor exclaimed. "Heart's stopped." He said and quickly backed away from the corpse.

"It can't be anything but black magic." Someone said.

"IT'S NOT BLACK MAGIC!" Kendall heard the captain yell and he let out a sigh. Moments later the door flung open and he looked up at the captain that eyed him. "Black magic, hm?" The captain hissed. "You're a feisty little bastard, aren't you?"

"Let me go." Kendall said. "I am not going back to that fortress." he stated and crossed his arms over his chest. "Let me go and I will leave your crew alone." He said. Hawk snorted and the young prince scowled. "I'd sink this ship if I weren't on it."

"You wouldn't dare, Blondie." Hawk growled and the blond hissed at him and started chanting once more. The pirate captain just chuckled and pulled out the amulet he had hanging around his neck. "Won't work on me, your majesty." He said and the blond huffed.

The captain eyed him once more before leaving the room and slamming the door shut. Kendall frowned and slumped in his seat. This was hopeless. He was devastated and only wanted to be back in James' arms. Speaking of which he was worried about the brunet. He didn't know for sure about James' immortality but he really hoped that he'd be alright. What life would it be if James weren't around?

"Your highness?" A silent whisper rang out and Kendall looked up. "My prince?"

"Logan." Kendall said and got up and went over to the door, looking out through the small window in it. "What are you doing here? How did you get on the ship?" He asked and the raven haired boy glanced around to make sure they were alone.

"I'm light on my feet, my prince. I am yet to be discovered." Logan said and looked back at the prince. "I could get you out of there."

Kendall scowled at him and turned away. "What good would that be? We are still on on this ship whether we like it or not." he said. "What difference does it make to be on the other side of that door?" He asked and sighed.

"We could escape." Logan suggested. "The Diamond is not far behind, we could try to escape."

The young prince turned back and looked at his former servant and eyed him. "Why are you doing this? The reward you were promised by my father is no more." He hissed. "You seek my forgiveness but it is something you will never get."

Logan frowned. "M-My prince-"

"What were you thinking?" Kendall asked silently. "A request like that... it is sick. You are sick." He said and Logan sighed.

"What was I supposed to do then?" He asked. "I'm a mere servant, my prince. I do not possess the right to have a family or a lover. It was my only chance." He said but Kendall shook his head. "Try to understand."

"What is there to understand?" Kendall growled. "You knew about my true nature, you knew about my awakening." He hissed and glared at Logan through the bars. "You knew that the awakening would eventually drive me out of my own body. Your reward for keeping that a secret..." He growled and shook his head. "My body was your reward."

"It's not what it seems..." Logan mumbled and looked away in shame.

Kendall let out a shaky breath and frowned. "I trusted you, Logan. I thought you were my friend but all you wanted..." He stopped himself. "You betrayed me. Lied to me. You never cared about me, did you? Just my looks. My human body."

Logan shook his head. "It's not like that."

"Then what is it like, Logan?" Kendall asked. "I saw the documents in my father's study. Once my body were nothing but an empty shell it was to be given to you. What were you going to do with it?" He asked. "Was it going to be what you could never have? A family? A lover?!" He yelled. "You are sick." He repeated and quickly wiped away the tears forming in his eyes.

"I didn't meant to..." Logan mumbled. "It's not at all what it seems. How could I not grow attached to the only one who has shown me kindness? You are my master, your majesty. I am loyal to you and no one else. The thought of losing you was too much for me. I have no one but you." He said and Kendall turned to him, his green eyes teary and sad. "My request had nothing to do with the horrible things you have in mind. It was for the sake of not being alone."

Kendall gulped a bit and furrowed his eyebrows. "Very well..." He mumbled. "I have not forgiven you, nor do I intend to do it anytime soon... but you are right. We need to escape this ship." He said. Logan nodded and disappeared out of sight for a few moments before coming back with a set of keys and unlocking the door, letting the prince out. "How do we get off this blasted ship?"

"How far are they?" James asked the closest sailor when he exited his cabin. He got worried looks from everyone and he glared back at his crew. "Answer!" He ordered.

"T-They seem to be slowing down, Captain." Someone said, gulping at James' red stained shirt. The bleeding had stopped and James ignored the pain, only having his blond prince in mind.

James nodded his head and went up to the rudder wheel where Carlos and Woodland were. "Any news?" He asked and Carlos worriedly eyed him. "Carlos." James said sternly. The small latino nodded a bit and explained the situation.

"Hawk is dropping corpses." he said. "Four corpses since they took off." he said and James nodded.

"Must be the prince's doing." He said with a small smirk, glad that the blond was not entirely helpless. Carlos nodded slowly.

"How are you, captain?" he asked. "You should be resting. A bullet through the chest is no game." He pointed out and James swatted him away.

"I have truly been through worse." he said. "There is no need for you to worry about me like you do. I will be satisfied only when I have the prince back on this ship." he said and the latino nodded. "Get yourself up on the mast, keep a careful eye out on what's happening on the ship." He ordered.

"A-Ay, Captain." Carlos mumbled and scurried up the mast and watched through his brass binocular what was happening on the other ship. The crew seemed to be fighting but he couldn't make out much of it. The captain was pacing back and forth on the rudder deck with his hands on his back.

Then he spotted something else, in the rear of the ship. A small window opened and a familiar raven haired boy peeked his head out. Logan. Carlos gasped a bit and rubbed his eyes. Logan was on the ship. The prince wasn't alone.

"My prince, this is truly an insane idea." Logan mumbled when they both looked out the window in the rear of the ship.

"Do not speak with me of insanity." Kendall said sharply and looked around. "There is no use here. We will not be able to climb." He sighed and climbed back inside the cabin they were in. "A ship like this is a disgrace to the seas." He cursed and glared around in the cabin. "It is not suitable for a ship with such a cruel captain to sail these waters."

"W-What are you implying, your majesty?" Logan asked timidly.

The young prince huffed and turned to Logan with a stern look on his face. "I am going to send this ship down into the pits of hell." He hissed. "May the crew and captain join it." He said before walking across the room and peeking out the door. "I need you to do something for me."

Logan nodded and scurried to the prince's side. "A-Anything, your majesty." He said and Kendall glanced at him before turning away again. "Tell me and I shall obey."

Kendall nodded a bit and took a deep breath. "The Tainted Diamond needs to catch up. I need you to stop this ship." He said. "Stop it and make sure the Diamond can catch up, she will be our only mean of escape." He mumbled. "Once she is within reach I want you to abandon this ship."

"My prince?" Logan asked and looked puzzled. "What about yourself?" He asked and Kendall turned to look at him again, staring him straight into his eyes. Logan could see the sparks of determination, anger and rage in the prince's eyes.

Kendall let out a shaky breath and furrowed his eyebrows. "I will catch up." He said before exiting the cabin and disappearing out of Logan's sight. The raven haired boy sighed a bit before glancing around and then making his way up on deck.

The deck was filled with crew members yet they were all distracted by someone who was going on about the prince being cursed and was too busy to notice the former servant walking around. Logan made his way over to the wheel securing the anchor to the ship's side. He'd be caught if he simply unhooked it from its hinges. He let out a huff and went around the crowd again and down under the deck, looking for anything that could aid him.

He searched through various weapons and guns and grabbed a small pistol, a dagger and a ceramic bomb. It'd be risky but it'd definitely stop the ship. If he succeeded that was. "Lord help me." He whispered to himself before going back up on deck but lingering in the shadows and lighting up the small ceramic bomb and throwing it into the center of the deck.

It exploded into a big cloud of smoke and in the commotion the crew ran about, crashing into each other and cursing at their inability to see. Logan scurried across the deck and took out the dagger making quick work of the rope on the anchor wheel before pulling the lever that dropped the large metal anchor into the ocean.

"What in the world are you idiots doing?!" Hawk roared and Logan frowned before jabbing the dagger down into the wheels mechanics, jamming them and making it impossible to raise the anchor unless it was removed and the damage it had done was repaired. That should buy the Diamond some time to catch up.

Logan retreated to hide under the stairs by the rudder deck and watched as the smoke cleared and captain Hawk descended from the rudder deck and barked at his crew. Logan hoped that things were going to work out. He hoped that the Tainted Diamond would catch up in time and he hoped that the prince would be alright.

Down under the deck, deep down in the small rooms in the lower part of the ship Kendall was sitting with his legs crossed and hands put together as if in prayer. He chanted the words that were popping up in his head, words filled with rage and anger. They were sharp and stern and with every word he could feel his heart beat faster and harder.

"CuRSed Be ThIS ShiP. dAmN iT tO HeLl. FrEe tHe sEa oF ThiS AbOmiNatIoN. FrEE iT." He chanted and closed his eyes and placed his palms against the boards on the floor. He could feel the whole ship shift and hear it squeal under the tips of his fingers.

He got up on his feet. His skin was burning and the world was a shade lighter to him. His vision was sharp and he could see the ship's being starting to fade. The young prince made his way up on deck where everything was chaos. Masts were crumbling, sails were being ripped apart sailors were running about and the captain were angrily yelling at them to get back to their positions.

Hawk caught Kendall's eyes and his own dark eyes widened when he saw the prince. How he was glowing and how the ship crumbled around him. "You." He hissed and glared down at the blond.

"YoU wIlL FaLl." Came that strange voice from within the prince. His lips were moving but the voice didn't sound like his. It was as if a hundred voices erupted from his throat all at once. Hawk growled and pulled out his gun aiming it at the prince.

"N-No!" Logan squeaked and jumped out of his hiding spot and hit the captain over the arm so the gun fell out of his hand and slid away from them. The former servant dodged a punch and jumped back when Hawk drew his sword.

"tHIs ShIp wIlL BE nO MorE!" Kendall growled and with that the third and last mast broke off – right in the middle – and fell down in the ship, crushing the boards and destroying the deck. The lower parts of the ship seemed to simply disintegrate and water started flowing in.

Logan frowned but swirled around when he heard someone call out for him. "Logan!" Carlos shouted and waved with his hand. The Diamond had caught up. "Logan! Get over here!" Carlos shouted and Logan hesitated and glanced at Kendall before listening to the latino and climbing up on the railing of the ship. "Jump!" Carlos ordered and Logan did, grabbing a tight hold of the latino's hand and being pulled up on the ship.

"T-The prince." Logan stuttered and turned back around. "He's going to sink the ship."
