"James." Kendall whispered. "James, wake up." He said and shook the brunet. "James, wake up." he urged and James shot up into a sitting position and looked around.

"What is it?" he asked. "What's going on?" He turned around to see if there was any danger.

Kendall smiled at him and tugged at his arm. "The sun will rise soon. Come on, before we miss it!" He squeaked and smiled happily. "Come on." He urged and dragged the pirate out of the bed. James grabbed his coat on the way out and climbed after the blond up to the top of the mast, all while yawning and trying not to lose his grip and fall.

Once they both were seated up by the mast Kendall took and wrapped James' arm around his shoulders and pointed. "Look! Look, we made it!" He said cheerfully and looked absolutely delighted when the first few rays of sun peeked up over the horizon.

The young prince leaned his head against his lover's shoulder and James smiled down at him. They were both silent and just watched the sun rise. "Looks like we caught it, hm?" James cooed and kissed the top of Kendall's head.

"We did." Kendall said happily. The two sat there until the sun had risen and the rest of the crew had woken up.

Logan was up and about fairly early and sat silently in the front, trying to teach himself how to tie knots. He'd ask Carlos once he was awake. Logan had – despite many odds – taken a liking of the latino. Carlos was an ounce of safety in a very unknown world to Logan. Carlos was comfort. Carlos was home. Carlos was... something Logan didn't understand. The latino had been miserable his entire life and never known anything but living in dirt yet he acted as if his life was the best. Logan didn't get it.

"Hey." Said latino said and Logan looked up. "What are you up to?" Carlos asked and sat down next to the raven haired boy.

"Nothing in particular. I'm trying to learn to do a few knots." Logan said. "Would you teach me?"

"Of course." Carlos said and took Logan's hands in his and held the rope. "This one is the most useful one." He said and guided Logan's hands to tie the knot. "This one is easy to adjust." he explained and showed the former servant another one. "And this one is the strongest one I know."

The raven haired boy nodded a bit and then looked up at the latino. "Thank you." He said softly and Carlos smiled at him. "Like this?" he asked and did just as Carlos had shown him. The latino nodded.

"Just like that." He said. Logan went back to tying knots for a while and Carlos watched. "You're rather handy, you know." He said. "You manage all the work on this ship but you look as fragile and delicate as a royalty."

"I-I am no where near royalty." Logan stuttered and blushed. "M-My appearance is to please the eye simply because I was working amongst nobility." He mumbled.

Carlos gave a light chuckle and nudged the former servant. By now Logan had grown used to the contact and didn't find is at odd. "Tell me about it." He chuckled. "You're sweet on the eyes. Wonder if you're sweet on other things as well."

"Oh, hush!" Logan hissed and slapped him on the arm. Carlos chuckled and Logan tried to concentrate on his knots but his fingers were trembling and his head felt light so none of the knots came out right.

"You alright there?"

"I-I'm fine!" Logan snapped and huffed out a breath. "S-Simply distracted." He stated and furrowed his eyebrows, trying to tie the first knot again. "Oh, bother." He sighed and gave up, letting his hands fall back into his lap.

"You'll get it with practice." The latino assured.

Logan nodded and stared out into the distance before turning to look at Carlos. "Do you know where we are going?" he asked suddenly. "Am I the only one here who does not know where this ship is headed?"

Carlos laughed softly and shook his head. "No one knows where we're going." He said. "Captain Diamond takes us where the wind goes." He explained. "We're pirates but we do not intend to rob the world blind but to simply take what we need."

The former servant scoffed. "You're awfully good at that." He muttered. He turned back to the latino and eyed him. "Who are you?" he then asked and sighed. "Who in the world are you and what have you done with me?"

"I beg you pardon?" Carlos chuckled.

"You are a pirate, are you not? What have you done to the servant that was once loyal to the Blue Kingdom? Because I cannot find him." Logan said and shook his head. "I find nothing but a boy who dreams of freedom and happiness. I see... somebody."

The latino's eyes sparkled and he smiled at the raven haired boy. "I stole him." He said. "I stole the royal servant and made him my own." He continued. "I took him and gave him a free soul and a free mind."

"Am I yours?" Logan asked lowly.

"You've been mine since I almost burned you to death in that library." Carlos replied and Logan shuddered and rolled his eyes.

"Pirates." He sighed. "We're all floating on a ship that's surely held up by our own insanity." He said and chuckled.

Carlos smiled. "Who says that it's we who are insane? Perhaps we're the only sane ones in the world?" he suggested and Logan looked at him. His eyes glinted and he looked curious.

"Do you really think so?" he asked.

"I might just be fool speaking his twisted mind." Carlos said with a shrug and Logan stared at him for a long time before he burst out laughing. Carlos loved that sound. Logan's laugh. It was unlike any laugh he had ever heard. It was so sincere. So genuine. So real. It was the laugh of someone who had just figured out how to laugh and what a delight it was. The latino watched Logan for a few moments and then chuckled himself. "Kiss me." He said.

Logan chuckled and shook his head. "I wouldn't know how to." he said.

"Try it." Carlos said. Logan hesitated a bit before awkwardly leaning forward and pressing his lips to Carlos' and then pull away. "Hm, I suppose it's another thing to add to the list of things I have to teach you." The latino said.

The raven haired boy pouted and Carlos chuckled. "Oh, hush." he snapped softly and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Here you go." Kendall murmured and ran his fingers over one of the crew members' arm. The cut in the tanned skin immediately healed and didn't even leave a scar. "Better?"

"Yes, thank you, your highness." The pirate said and bowed his head. Kendall smiled softly at him and got up on his feet and strolled around on deck. James watched him warily from the rudder deck. Though anyone else might not notice the young prince was acting rather strangely. He'd been distant and silent.

For three days Kendall had been avoiding James and for three nights the brunet had been jumped and seduced the second he entered his cabin. The pirate captain was puzzled. James felt different too he didn't feel as empty nor... cold as he had done for so long. But with the new warmth also came an insecurity and wariness.

"Your majesty, a word with you." He cooed and strode down the stairs and took a hold of the blond's arm. Kendall swirled around and looked up at him and if James wasn't mistaken a slight hint of fear was hiding behind the emerald green orbs.

"Y-Yes, my love?" Kendall stuttered out and smiled nervously. "What is on your mind?" He asked.

James shook his head and took Kendall's hands in his. "If it would not bother you to discuss. I would like to talk about your behavior these past few days." He said lowly and Kendall gulped and gave an innocent smile.

"S-Say, have I done anything wrong?" The blond asked.

"No, love." James murmured. "But I do wonder why you walk with your gaze on either the floor or your feet during the day yet let it linger on me at night." He said softly. The prince looked away but James took a gentle hold of his chin and turned his face. "Kendall."

"I am sorry, Captain." He said and frowned. "I-... I have had a lot on my mind lately." He confessed in a low whisper. "I do not expect you to understand because I am sure that I am lonely in my ways but..." He looked up and met James' eyes. "All I ask of you... is that you trust me."

"Of course." James was quick to say.

"And." Kendall continued. "That you let me, no matter what happens, do what I need to do." He said and the brunet nodded. "It may not seem like it but everything I do, my love... I do for a reason."

James furrowed his eyebrows. "May I ask for what reason?"

Kendall smiled at him and brought his hands to caress James' face. "I am simply playing my part in this large play, my love. I need you to let me play it."

Bewildered and confused James allowed the blond to wander away and stroll into the cabin, most likely to await nightfall when the captain would join him. What he was speaking of – plays, parts and games – James did not understand. Perhaps the young blond had gone mad? Perhaps his divine powers would eventually drive his sanity out of him like it would his humanity if it wasn't sealed shut inside?

When the darkness enveloped the ship James hesitated before entering the cabin. Kendall sat curled up in bed and stared into the distance. He had wrapped himself in the soft sheets and hugged his knees close to his chest.

James gave a sigh and shrugged his coat off before walking over to the table and grabbing the bottle of wine and taking a swig. "You are upset." Kendall mumbled.

The brunet glanced over at him. "How did you know?"

"You drink when you're angry." The blond said timidly.

"I'm not angry." James said.

"Mm." The prince hummed and looked away. James sighed and went over to the bed and sat down on it. Kendall stayed where he was and barely even looked up. James glanced at him but the blond kept looking away. "I know that you do not understand some of the things I do." He said and fiddled with the medallion hanging around his neck. "But I also know that you try your best to."

James nodded and grabbed a hold of the prince and pulled him to himself. "I am a mere human, love. I will never understand you."

Kendall sighed. "I am not so sure I myself will understand what I am doing." He mumbled and snaked out of James' grip before straddling him and pushing him down onto the mattress. "The only ones who would be able to tell me are either gods or dead." He said and placed kisses along the brunet's jaw. "I am lucky to have such an understanding human by my side." he murmured and nipped down the brunet's neck.

"Kendall..." James sighed and gulped.

The young prince hummed a bit before laying down on James' chest and leaning his cheek against James' broad chest. "Hold me tonight." He said softly and hugged his lover. "I want you to be close."

"I am always close, love." James promised. Kendall nodded and kissed him and James kissed back and hugged him. "That is the only thing I understand and know. I will always be close. I won't leave you anywhere."

Kendall smiled happily. "I will not let you, James." He said. "I am with you wherever you go." He said and ran his fingers over James' chest. "I won't let anyone touch you. I will not let you come to any harm." He promised. The brunet eyed him.

"I love you." James murmured and smirked before rolling them both over. "And I won't let anyone but me touch you." He purred and the prince blushed and nodded meekly.

"Then touch me." He said and grinned. James laughed softly and grabbed a hold of his wrists and pinned them down.

"I plan to." he said and swept down and kissed him.

"James. Oh, James." It sounded from the cabin and Logan sighed and rolled his eyes. He'd stayed up later than usual to try and finish learning those stupid knots he'd been practicing all day. It was out of Logan's mind how he had never heard the blond before. The blond was loud yet Logan was certain that he was louder than ever that night.

He ignored the sounds and put his work away and wandered away from the captain's captain and seated himself in the from of the ship and watched the waved that gently rocked the ship.

"Need some company?" A low voice asked. The former servant turned his head and looked up at the latino before patting the space next to himself. Carlos gave a happy sigh and seated himself next to Logan. "It's a beautiful night."

"Indeed." Logan mumbled and looked up at the star filled sky. He hesitated for a brief moment before taking Carlos' hand and wrapping the latino's arms around himself. Carlos didn't say anything and silently pulled the raven haired boy a little closer and let him lead his head upon his shoulder.

So guys. The next chapter will be the last. I do have a few things to say about it. First of all, do not worry, it's a long chapter. I'd guess around 4,3K words... I'm not really sure. I just know it's longer than the other chapters. I will have some more news about coming stories in the next chapter.

To comment this chapter I'm just gonna say one thing and that is Cargan. I have never written/shipped or even liked Cargan but... They are so cute and they're just growing on me. Also Kames because I adore Kames.

Thank you guys for reading! I hope you enjoy! Thank you so much for staying around and leaving such wonderful reviews. OMG. I don't think I said it before but I reached 200 reviews! In one story! LIKE WHAAT? Thank you guys so much! That's a new record for me! Thank you! I love you!
