Hi there! And welcome to chapter 11! It's been awhile since I've updated, been super busy, so I apologize.

Anyway, White will be going for her ninth badge! Man that just sounds wrong to say. It'd be cool if there were more than eight gyms in a generation though. Huh. Wow I'm getting off topic. XD The beginning of this chapter is a bit about N again, so that's why the little chapter title isn't below this author's note. I probably don't need to say that anymore, but I continue to anyway, because apparently I like to repeat myself. Tee hee.

Anyway, enjoy!

Had it really been an entire year? After White's message came to its close N switched his X-transceiver off and sighed, staring up at the sky. An entire year? Could that really be right?

N looked down and slowly ticked off each month on his fingers. Twelve months, yep, she had been right. It had been an entire year since he had left and set out on his quest to study people and Pokémon's interactions. N wasn't sure if he was satisfied with the results or not.

He had seen Pokémon and people getting along, people and Pokémon looking out for one another, and people and Pokémon forging strong friendships and bonds. He listened to what Pokémon had to say about their trainers, and not a single one he had talked to had said anything bad about their masters, let alone suggested that maybe they'd be happier out on their own in the wild.

N knew he should've been happy with the results. It supported White's views one hundred percent, therefore signaling that she had indeed been right. But N was still hesitant. He was sure that somewhere out there, there was a Pokémon that was unhappy. He had seen copious amounts of unhappy Pokémon when he had been a child in his room; surely there were some out there with their trainers who were dissatisfied.

N sighed. If he planned on finding those Pokémon, without running into White in the process, he needed to scour the four regions again. Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, the first sweep through them he had only found happy Pokémon, but maybe a second time through he would find something different.

He contemplated searching in Unova. It was the only region he hadn't searched in his journey. He quickly shook his head of the thought. Not only would he be so close to White that there would be a good chance they would literally run into one another, but he had already traveled across the region once during his original journey, he shouldn't need to again. Even if the first time across Unova his mind was more set on resurrecting Reshiram… and spending time with White, than finding unhappy Pokémon.

N smiled at the thought of his first journey. Sure he had been working full force to help Team Plasma; he had searched day and night for the Light Stone, and worked even harder to get Reshiram to recognize him so he could prove that he was right; but the more fond memories he had of his journey were of the times he had spent with White. Whether it be the little casual chats they had, or even more sour moments, like the one when she yelled at him in frustration when she had found out he was the King of Team Plasma. Then it had seemed like she had stepped on his heart, smashing it to smithereens, but now, it was a fond memory, because it was a memory of her.

N sighed, again looking up at the sky. Was that why he was back now? Her? Had he somehow unconsciously realized that it was the one year mark since their battle? Somewhere deep down was he a little bit excited to go back and tell her that he knew she was right? Was that why somehow he had ended up in Anville town, leaning against the side of the subway station, his hands in his pockets as he contemplated truths and ideals?

He honestly hadn't realized it, but throughout his travels he had slowly begun edging back toward Unova. First he had decided maybe Johto would be better, then Hoenn, then Sinnoh, then before he knew it he had, on a whim, flown overnight back into his home region. Of course he was only in Anville, the farthest town to the west. Hardly anyone ever came to this town, so could it really be considered Unova? Had he really broken down and come back?

N knew the answer, but he didn't want to admit it. He wanted to come back to Unova. He wanted to come back and tell her he was wrong, and that he now truly knew it. But somehow he couldn't bring himself to call her back and ask for a meeting.

He hadn't ever called her back, not even to tell her he was alright, despite her nearly begging him to do so. He had worried her sick. He had put her through more than he had ever wanted to. He had seen her yell at him in her voicemails, telling him to call her back or else she would track him down herself; and he had seen her cry, begging and pleading with him to come back. What he had put her through was something he didn't want to own up to. He didn't want to see her again and have to face the fact that he had abandoned Unova and her, for selfish reasons.

N's hand balled into a fist and he shook his head quickly, ridding it of the guilty thoughts. He reached into his pocket, calling out Reshiram faster than he ever had before.

He'd go back to Kanto. The farthest place away from Unova. He'd sweep the regions again, and then maybe he'd come back. Maybe. If he ever mustered up the courage.

He didn't deserve her. But he promised himself he'd do everything in his power to make it up to her. One day he would come back. One day.

Chapter 11: Aspertia Challenge

I exited the Pokémon Center the next morning with renewed vigor. Sure last night I had been lost in my own nostalgic thoughts, and had been saddened when N once again hadn't answered, despite it being our anniversary; but when I had gotten up, I had been nothing short of ecstatic. I would be getting my ninth badge, and another start to another journey.

I turned on my heel and began making my way briskly to Cheren's Gym. I had followed his request and woken up early, so early in fact that the Pidoves were just starting to sing as the sun peeked over the horizon. I saw a couple of mailmen and waved my good morning to them. Never had I ever been this cheery, let alone this early in the morning; but it seemed nothing could break me of my happy mood.

By the time I was within sight of the Gym, people were slowly beginning to appear on the street. Whether they were going to work or just up to see the sunrise I didn't know, but what I did realize was that I had sorely underestimated the population of Aspertia.

It had seemed like a quaint little town the day before, however now, as more and more people crowded the streets I realized that this city was jam packed.

I paid little attention to the meandering citizens, however as I reached the Gym, placing my foot on the first step, someone did catch my eye.

A small girl, with brown hair tied up in pigtails and overalls much too big for her adorning her small frame. A strap to her outfit would fall every few seconds and she would hastily push it back up on her shoulder as her eyes continued to scan everyone passing her by. She looked worried, panicked even, as she stared up at the grownups passing her who were all a good few feet taller. She clutched in her grasp what I recognized to be a map and I sighed, taking my foot off of the Gym's step and turning to walk toward her.

I never approached strangers out of my own free will; however she looked so helpless that I figured I should lend her a hand before she burst out in tears. I wasn't sure why, but for some reason holding the title 'hero of Unova' made me feel like I needed to help anyone I could. It was crazy what a little responsibility could do to you.

"Hi, are you lost?" I asked as I made it to the little girl.

She jumped a mile, crumpling the sheet of paper in her grasp as she quickly turned to me, her eyes slowly making their way up my body to my face. "U-um, not really."

I cocked my head to the side. I had assumed she had gotten separated from her parents or something. "Then what's wrong?" I blurted.

The girl hesitated for a moment before squinting up at me, shading her eyes from the sun. Her demeanor changed in an instant from helpless to curious. "Your name doesn't happen to be White, does it?" she asked.

Oh boy, even a little kid knew who I was. I gave her a wide smile. "Yep, I'm White."

Her eyes went wide before she squealed in joy. "This is perfect then! My brother is a big fan of yours!" Without any further explanation she shoved the map into my hands, forcing me to take the crumpled sheet of paper.

"W-what?" I asked, completely confused by the situation.

"You see my brother left for his Pokémon journey yesterday but he didn't bring a map with him. I figured he'd come home looking for it, but he never did. He really needs that map so if you could give it to him that'd be great!" With that remark she gave me an irresistibly cute smile, crossing her arms behind her back.

I narrowed one eye. I had a lot of questions, but decided to voice a rather off the wall one first. "Your brother's name doesn't happen to be…. wait… what was his name again? Crap," I mumbled, tapping my chin in thought. I had met a boy and a girl yesterday who had been starting off on their journeys. But I'd be dipped if I could remember either one of their names.

The little girl spoke up before I could make a further fool of myself. "Hugh, big blue hair, you know him?" she asked, holding her arms above her head and making an 'o' shape in an attempt to mimic Hugh's hairstyle.

I snapped my fingers in recognition, "Hugh! Yes that's him. So that's your brother?"

She nodded quickly, "You bet! He's the best big brother ever! I think he went to Route 19 on his way to Floccesy Town. Please give him that," she pleaded, clasping her hands together and looking up at me with desperation.

Before I could answer, the door to the Gym behind me swung open, only a few yards away. The little girl and I both looked to the figure standing in the doorway, Cheren, with surprise.

"White! There you are, you coming in?" Cheren said with a sigh. It was obvious he had been worried I wouldn't make it in time to be his first challenger. He walked out further onto the porch, leaning against one of the stone pillars to await my answer.

"U-um," I stuttered. I wasn't sure if I should challenge the Gym first or head off after Hugh to give him the map, his sister seemed awfully distressed after all. My mind went back and forth as I contemplated what to do first, but luckily a loud and piercing sound broke the silence, and gave me an excuse to not answer the question right away.

Hugh's little sister rummaged around in her pocket and pulled out an old-fashioned X-transceiver, one that didn't have a video function and quickly pressed the answer button.

"Hello?" she asked.

I glanced over at Cheren who was giving me the most confused look and I shook my head, letting him know I'd inform him of who she was and what was happening after she had hung up.

"Olivia? Hey, just wondering, you wouldn't have happened to find a map at home would you?" The unmistakable voice of Hugh rang loud and clear out of the X-transceiver.

"Yeah! I was actually just giving it to White to bring to you," the little girl, apparently named Olivia answered, a slight air of cockiness in her tone. It was more than a little obvious she was trying to make Hugh jealous with the fact she was spending time with me and he wasn't.

There was a long pause before Hugh answered. "Wait, White's there? And you were giving her the map to bring to me? That's so rude, Olivia! I'm sure she has better things to do!"

Even though I couldn't see him I could picture the flustered look on his face. In all reality I wasn't sure what I thought of his statement. Did I really have better things to do? I really wasn't in a hurry for anything, even if I did want to get my three badges as soon as possible.

Olivia frowned, "You don't have to be mean, Hugh."

I heard Hugh sigh before he spoke up once again. "Listen, I'll come back for it. I'm still on Route 19 so I should be there in about a half hour. Sit tight until then okay?"

Olivia's big smile returned. "Okay, big brother! See you soon!" Without waiting for an answer she clicked the X-transceiver off and shoved it in her pocket, reaching a hand out toward me.

"I guess I'll be needing that back," she said sheepishly.

I handed the map back to her with a chuckle. I wasn't sure what the heck I had just witnessed, or why I was again going to run into Hugh after not even a full twenty four hours since I had met him, but I was amused. His little sister was a handful. It sure was an eventful start to the day.

"So… you coming in?" Cheren interrupted, shoving off of the pillar to his Gym with the same mask of confusion on his face.

I chuckled and nodded, turning back to Hugh's little sister. "If Hugh shows up and wants to leave before I'm out tell him I said hi."

She nodded and gave me a thumbs up before I turned back to Cheren, stalking over to his Gym and climbing the steps.

As I passed him and reached my hand out to grab the large metal handle to the Gym's door, Cheren spoke up. "So what was that all about? And who was she?"

I looked back over my shoulder at Cheren as I heaved the large door open. "I met this kid yesterday who was starting out on his journey. His name was Hugh," I said, walking into the Gym and holding the door open for Cheren. "He was a pretty odd character, but kinda cool. Anyway, that was his little sister. I guess he left his map behind when he left yesterday and she wanted me to give it to him."

Cheren nodded his understanding. "Was that who Bianca was giving a starter Pokémon to yesterday?"

I stifled a look of surprise and shook my head. "No, that trainer was actually the girl Hugh was going to be traveling with."

I couldn't deny I was more than a little shocked that Cheren knew Bianca was giving a new trainer their first Pokémon. I had just learned Bianca was Professor Juniper's assistant yesterday but Cheren knew exactly what she was doing? I guess I had been out of the region for a while. It was understandable.

Cheren smiled, "Small world."

I nodded, my mind slowly shifting gears into my upcoming battle. Sure the morning had been an odd one so far, but that didn't change the fact that I was about to challenge a Pokémon League Gym. If I wanted to secure my place as Champion again I needed to beat Cheren. That's what I should be focused on.

I put on a look of determination as Cheren led me out back once again to the two dirt battlefields. Not much had changed about the Gym. Sure enough the pails of cleaning fluid and the few stray brooms were nowhere to be seen, and the paint lines to the battlefields were now dry, but rather than that it looked exactly the same.

"So I'll be your first official challenger?" I confirmed as Cheren motioned me over to the farthest battlefield.

"Yep! I think it's fitting, since I think we've battle against each other more times than either one of us can count," he said, looking back over his shoulder with a genuine smile.

I chuckled, indeed Cheren and I had been battle buddies since the day we had gotten our first Pokémon. I hadn't lost to him even a single time, and I hoped this battle wouldn't be any different. I only for a moment wondered if Cheren would have a hard time if he lost his first battle as a Gym Leader before shaking my head. He would be more upset if I didn't try my hardest against him, than if he had to give out a badge the very first battle he had.

Cheren walked to the trainer box on the right side of the field and I automatically walked toward the other.

"I don't have a referee yet," I heard Cheren call out. "But I think we can do without one, us both being veteran trainers after all," he said with a forced laugh.

I turned to face Cheren once I had made it to my trainer box and nodded. "No cheating, Cher."

Cheren rolled his eyes. "It'll be a two on two battle. Sound good?"

"Sure thing!" I answered, dropping my bag beside me, my voice showing exactly how excited I was to battle again. It seemed like it had been forever since I had had a real Pokémon match. I couldn't wait.

Cheren nodded, pulling out a minimized pokeball and clicking the button, the ball enlarging to the size of his palm. I leaned forward slightly in anticipation. Would he be sending out Patrat or Lillipup first?

"Listen White, I just wanted to thank you again for being my first challenger. It'll make it a memorable debut into the Gym Leader lifestyle," he said softly.

Cheren wasn't really one for heartfelt confessions so his thank you meant more than I could express.

I laughed, leaning down to pick up a pokeball of my own. "Sure thing, Cheren. Let's make it a battle to remember."

Cheren grinned, giving me a wink before tossing his pokeball up into the air. As the ball burst with light, the blue glowing orb morphing into the figure of his Patrat, my heart was hammering away in my chest. I had wondered many times if it would be difficult for me to battle again. It had been around half a year since I had had a battle against another trainer; would I still have my style? Would I still have the same reaction time? Would I still be able to win?

"Go, Eevee!" I called, tossing my own Pokémon into the air. I figured it didn't really matter. Even if I did lose I had a few excuses. One being the fact that this would be my first ever battle with Eevee, and another being that she was so young, she might not be strong enough to even battle a level one Gym.

Eevee sang out a surprised bark when she materialized on the battlefield. She glanced back over her shoulder at me and I gave her a nod of reassurance. She gave me a bark and nodded her head, turning her attention to Patrat and widening her stance slightly, preparing herself for battle.

Talace's minimized ball which was still snapped into the necklace I wore shook just the tiniest amount. I wasn't sure if it was out of irritation that once again he wouldn't be battling, or his own weird way of saying good luck to me, but I smiled nonetheless.

"You ready?" Cheren called.

I took one deep breath, steadying my nerves and promising myself everything would be fine. It was like riding a bike. I had done it so many times that once I started it would all come back to me. It would be a breeze.

"You bet! You get the first move," I said, giving Cheren an amused smirk.

Cheren let out a sound of annoyance, "Bold are we? You haven't changed a bit. Good. Alright Patrat, use Work Up!"

Just as apparently I hadn't changed in Cheren's eyes, neither had Cheren in mine. His battle style always consisted of very intricate moves, placed in a very precarious order. If nothing went awry in Cheren's plan, his battle style was devastating, however usually I was able to knock him off his game.

"Eevee, Quick Attack!" I called.

She was a blur.

I believed, like most Pokémon trainers, that all Pokémon had potential. All it took was a lot of hard work and practice, but if that was given, and you developed a strong bond with your Pokémon, any Pokémon could be a powerhouse in battle. But some things couldn't be taught, such as reaction time in battle, or sometimes confidence. When Eevee shoved off her attack while I was still in the middle of calling it I couldn't help the small Butterfree swirling in my stomach. This was her first battle, and yet she was already reacting like a pro. She was a natural.

Any worry I had had about it being Eevee's first battle dissipated. I had worked very hard with her at Professor Oak's, even if none of it was in-battle training, and that was sure paying off now.

Before Patrat even had the chance to begin his move, Eevee had smashed into him headfirst, a trail of white light behind her as the scout Pokémon went tumbling backwards.

Eevee was back in front of me in an instant, her legs still positioned in a battle stance. Maybe she had picked that up from watching Talace.

I glanced up to Cheren who had a frown on his face. He reached up to the bridge of his nose, absentmindedly trying to push on the nosepiece of his nonexistent glasses. He quickly dropped his hand and a flustered look plastered itself onto his face. Apparently he still hadn't broken himself of that nervous habit, even when he had gotten contacts.

"Alright, Patrat, use Bite!" he called, pointing toward Eevee.

Patrat picked himself up off of the ground, dusting off his fur in the most humanesque way imaginable before turning his attention to Eevee and glaring at her.

"You too!" I called out.

Patrat and Eevee lunged at each other simultaneously, teeth glowing bright as they opened their mouths in preparation for the attack.

Once again my adrenaline was high. Man had I missed battling. It still gave the most addictive rush I could imagine.

Patrat and Eevee collided, both attacks hitting their mark as Patrat chomped down on Eevee's tail and Eevee chomped down on Patrat's back. I saw both Pokémon shiver in discomfort before quickly calling out my next command.

"Let go and use Yawn! Then Tackle!"

Eevee's fangs dimmed rapidly. She let Patrat go and leaned back just far enough to cough out a small puff of smoke that hit an unsuspecting Patrat head on. With that distraction, Patrat let go of Eevee's tail, stumbling backwards in a daze. Eevee took it as her chance to land the second move I had called and shouted out her name as she charged into Patrat, who went careening backwards and landed unceremoniously at Cheren's feet.

As if on a timer, Yawn took effect and Patrat was out cold, snoring away happily on the ground as if he wasn't anywhere near a battlefield, but on a warm sandy beach, relaxing the day away.

Eevee trotted victoriously back to me and smiled. "Eevee!"

I chuckled down at her. "Yes, good job. But you're not done yet," I said, nodding toward Patrat and Cheren, who looked halfway between angry and confused. "He's just asleep, it's not over."

Eevee glanced back at Patrat before turning to me with a determined bark. She seemed glad the battle wasn't over.

"Alright then, end it with Quick Attack!"

Once again my eyes couldn't keep track of her. I only saw the aftermath that was Patrat skidding across the field, still fast asleep. When the rodent came to a halt, the dust kicked up in the process finally clearing, he was out cold. One Pokémon down.

"Yes," I cheered to myself. I guess it really was like riding a bike. Eevee had taken minimal damage, and Patrat had been knocked out. My chances were looking good. Heck, Cheren had only gotten one move in.

Cheren returned Patrat to its ball with a confused look. "Eevee's don't usually know the move Yawn, White, who gave her to you again?"

I shrugged, "Professor Oak said he found her egg in one of his corrals. I don't know who it came from."

Cheren's puzzled look faded and he let out one loud laugh. "Well I guess your luck hasn't changed, White. You just happen to get an Eevee with an egg move. But you're not the only one."

Cheren's tone turned down at the end of his statement as he casually tossed out his second Pokémon.

As Lillipup materialized I mulled over his words. An egg move? I had heard of those before. Usually they were moves that the Pokémon couldn't learn, not even if their trainer worked their hardest to train it to them. Usually breeders were the only ones who had Pokémon who knew egg moves. Maybe Eevee had come from a breeder. But what had Cheren meant by me not being the only one?

"Alright Lillipup," Cheren called, breaking my spiraling thoughts. "Let's show her your move. Ice Fang!"

Lillipup barked out in recognition and shot toward Eevee, its mouth open and a frosty blue mist trailing out of it. I knew for a fact that a Lillipup shouldn't have been able to learn the move Ice Fang.

"D-dodge!" I called, just a little bit too late.

Eevee tried her best to skitter out of the way, and succeeded to some extent, but Lillipup was able to crunch down on her tail, my Pokémon crying out in discomfort.

I cringed slightly. It was my fault for not reacting in time. Eevee was fast enough that if I had called it out just a little quicker, she could've completely dodged it.

Ice slowly formed on Eevee's tail, soon her entire puffy extremity covered with ice. Once the frozen liquid stopped spreading, Lillipup let go, bounding back over to Cheren.

Eevee growled out in frustration as she attempted to move, but the big block of ice surrounding her tail proving too heavy. She could only move it a few inches off of the ground, and even then, it would come crashing back down after only a few seconds.

I glanced up at Cheren with a confused glance. He had received that Lillipup from the League, wouldn't it be illegal for it to know an egg move?

Cheren seemed to almost read my mind. "Gym Leader's Pokémon are given to them as eggs. So it's completely random what moves they have. I just got lucky, I guess," he said with a shrug.

I gritted my teeth, my brain frantically trying to come up with a solution. I hadn't witnessed many battles where a part of a Pokémon had been frozen, so I had no idea what road I should take in trying to fix it.

"Bite! Let's go!" Cheren called, not missing a beat. The first battle he had been the one unable to get a move in, now it seemed the tables had turned.

My mind scrambled, and somehow I came up with a half-decent comeback. I had always prided myself on my quick thinking in battles, maybe that skill was still something I had.

"Use Quick Attack and intercept with your tail!"

I expected Eevee to give me a hesitant look before attacking, usually Pokémon did when you gave them such odd commands, but she didn't skip a second, shoving off at an incredible speed once again.

Of course the momentum was off, since her tail weighed so much more now. She couldn't quite get up the speed she had previously, but with the increased power the move gave her, she was successfully able to move the chunk of ice, and move it enough to lift it up and smash it into Lillipup as the puppy Pokémon tried to land its Bite attack.

I thanked Arceus that somehow my Hail Mary had worked, and nearly jumped for joy to see that it had actually done more than I had imagined. I had hoped that the impact would successfully shatter the ice, and indeed it had, but what I hadn't expected was that it had landed a serious hit on Lillipup. The ice coming into contact with its exposed mouth had inflicted quite a bit of damage, and I saw that Cheren's tiny Pokémon was having a little trouble getting up.

Without hesitation I called out what would be the final move, "Quick Attack into Bite!"

"Eve!" she shouted out, nodding and once again taking off in a blur.

I knew that the speed Quick Attack produced would enhance the damage done by Bite. I guess my battle reasoning really wasn't too awfully rusty.

With a strangled cry Lillipup was too slow and was easily caught in Eevee's bite, stumbling backwards and collapsing in a heap, fainted.

I froze, my entire body going rigid. I had actually done it. The first battle for a badge I had had in over a year was a success. Not only that but Eevee had been amazing, and had made one heck of an impact for her battle debut.

"Yes!" I shouted this time, uncaring what Cheren or anyone else who happened to hear my call of joy would think. I had won a badge, and it felt great!

I heard Cheren's deep chuckle as he returned his fainted Pokémon, telling it what an amazing job it had done. He walked toward me, a slight smile on his face. "You haven't changed a bit, White."

I took a deep breath and smiled back. Indeed I hadn't. I guess I had worried my battle style would change, I had worried I wouldn't still have my skills intact, and I had worried once again that I would lose. But I hadn't. I hadn't ever lost a Gym battle, and today wouldn't be my first. I once again mulled over the fact that I had never lost. I had thought about it night after night and I still was baffled by it. Gyms were hard to beat, everyone knew that. So hard in fact that most trainers weren't ever able to beat all eight Gyms. Only a few trainers ever made it to the Elite Four, and only a tiny handful were ever able to challenge the Champion. None of which would ever win.

However, I had done that with ease. Beaten all eight Gyms, never losing once, blowing through the Elite Four, and finally winning in my battle against N, who had beaten Alder. I had wondered many times why Zekrom had chosen me, but after that kind of proof maybe I truly was a special trainer. Of course it wasn't just me, I wouldn't be anything without my amazing Pokémon partners at my side.

"Here." Cheren pulled me out of my thoughts when he grabbed my hand and gently placed something made of cool metal in it. "I know you technically already have one of these, but it's still a little different." Cheren said with a chuckle.

I looked down at the Basic Badge, eyes wide. I had won mine from Lenora, but Cheren's would hold the same amount of weight. The metal was silver now, instead of gold, the only difference between the new and old Basic Badge. I closed my hand around it and smiled up at Cheren.

"Thank you," I breathed, my smile so large I sincerely doubted it could grow any bigger.

Cheren nodded, "Congratulations. Now, since you beat me in my first battle as a Gym Leader you better beat the pants off the other ones, and Iris, you hear?" he said, his tone amused.

I laughed, "Of course, Cher. Will do."

He threw his arm around my shoulders as we both walked back into his Gym. He was practically exuding confidence now. I knew that a little friendly battle was all Cheren needed to fully get his attention and confidence back on battling. My eyes stayed glued to my badge, barely breaking from it long enough to congratulate Eevee and call her back to her ball on my way out.

My ninth badge. I was probably the only trainer in Unova who could say they had nine badges. It was an accomplishment in and of itself.

I took a deep breath, suddenly nothing mattering except that Championship. I had worried about N for so long it felt good to have my attention pulled onto something else.

The first of three badges I would need before I could try once again to claim my position as Champion, and it felt great.

So there it is! I hope you liked it! White officially got her first badge of B/W 2! Yay White! *does tiny dance* Again I hate writing battles (because it's hard, for me anyway, and I'm a lazy butt) so I'm glad to have the first one over with. Hah! And I also didn't have her go give Hugh the map because I was like "ugh, so much walking for her." Plus that would've meant a filler chapter and I try my hardest to stay away from those. XD

Anyway, ignore my rambling! Have you all noticed what time of the year it is? Ermagersh it's December, the year's gonna be over soon! *crai* So this is going to be my last chapter for this story for 2013! I'll try and make my lazy fingers speedy and type up a few chapters over Christmas break so I can update this story quicker... but no promises. (again with the being super busy and lazy... but mostly lazy XD)

If you're bored or in the Christmas spirit you can always check out my Ferriswheelshipping Christmas one-shot I wrote last year. It's called "Holiday" if you're interested. Yes, shameless self promotion. Again. Are you really surprised? Heh.

Anyway, I hope you all have a very very Merry Christmas and a very very Happy New Year! I'll see you all in 2014! :D
