Hey guys. I just want to tell you how thankful I am for all of your support of this story. I'm glad because I never got one negative review. Ever. Thank you so much for this. It's helped me build my confidence when I'm writing. Now, the real reason I'm writing this is because I feel like I let you people down. All you wonderful people saying please post a new chapter soon haven't seen one since September. There are several reasons for this and I'll go through them soon but right now I just want to say I am sorry.
You may have noticed that my uploads slowed to one every two or three months after January 2014 hit. Around that time, I had a dream. This particular dream gave me the idea for my own book which I have been working on ever since. I am crazy about it. Creating every single detail of all the characters' lives and planning ahead. Knowing what's going to happen in book 3. It took me away from Percy Jackson. I have dreams of one day publishing this book. It is called The Golden locket and I am currently at 50,000 words. Longer that all of my stories combined. I figure once I'm done it will be around 70,000 which is around the length of Artemis Fowl or the first Harry Potter book. As you can see, I've been busy with this new story that is 100% my creation.
I'm mainly writing this because of just one more thing I need to say. I will not be writing any more Percy Jackson and Camp No Blood. I am so sorry guys. I know you really enjoyed this story and I'm happy you did but I need to go on and write my new stories. Percy was just a stage in my life as a writer. Thank you for being a part of that stage. I really mean it. Thank you for making me a better writer and showing me so much support. I hope that the new book I'm writing gets support from people just like you.
