The discussion had not taken long, and I hung on to every word. I didnt know what they were talking about, most of the time, though. Words like Gaea, titans, Romans, and "The Camp" meant almost nothing to me. But they had a large effect on Percy. He had started to turn white, and sweat a little bit. The image was starting to fade away and it left an unfinished sentence of importance, Percy wringing his hands, and me watching him with a strange expression of curiosity.

He shook his head and mumbled, "Happens every time." Then he looked up and saw me. He gasped and his expression turned from worry, to shock, then anger.

"What are you still doing here! Have you been here the whole time? Oh my gods I cant believe you heard all of that! Ugh!" He was yelling at me and kept advancing towards me as I stepped away. Eventually he backed me into a tree, and was still yelling while I kept shaking my head with "yes" and "no". I cringed, closed my eyes and looked away, as Percy brought up his fist. I waited for the punch to come, but it never did.

Instead, Percy said threatingly and dark, "You will never speak of this to anyone. And if you do, you will be sorry." Now didn't seem like a good time to bring up that I couldn't talk, so I just nodded my head. "Good."
