Key2DestNE: Order, order in the court! *bangs gavel* Defense, are you ready for the trial?

DarkFoxKit: The Defense is ready your Honor!

Key2DestNE: And the Prosecution?

ConstructCritical: Blah, blah, blah prosecution is ready. Now let's get this over with and get that criminal thrown in jail! *points at DarkFoxKit*

DarkFoxKit: Idiot! It was because of you we're here in the first place! Crazy Minccino.

Key2DestNE: Oh, I see you two are against each other at the moment… W-well then, seeing as I'm appearing as a guest author, I suppose I should know the facts, right?

DarkFoxKit: This crazy Minccino here had kidnapped me, assaulted me, lied and manipulated me, trying to get me into his 'cult' of felineshipping, and threaten me if I didn't, and-

ConstructCritical: Objection! *points a finger accusingly at Fox* You do not have proof I did any of those things! Furthermore, I never attempted to recruit you! Your Honor, she is lying about her statements and has no proof to back them up!

Key2DestNE: I see… is that true, defense? Are you able to provide evidence that this Minccino indeed kidnapped you, assaulted you, or did any of what you have accused the prosecution of doing?

DarkFoxKit: Yes, your Honor. *digs into a bag and presented something.* TAKE THAT! You see this, your Honor? *holds up a photograph of Mew and Meowth together with hearts all over their heads* This was found in his bag, you may investigate his fingerprints if you want further evidence.

Key2DestNE: Hmm… I see. So this… 'Felineshipping', as you put it, is a number of fans who love the pairing of Mew and Meowth? Well, they both share similar letters in their names… Prosecution, do you have anything to say about this?

ConstructCritical: *is blushing* Y-Your Honor, simply showing proof that I ship Felineshipping is no proof I committed the treachery she claims! The 'information' provided is erroneous and has no place in the Court of Law!

DarkFoxKit: Objection! You seem pretty sweaty about that, and why were you blushing if you really have nothing to do with Felineshipping? This picture should've been cute at best if that was the case, not blush inducing!

Key2DestNE: *bangs gavel* Order! Order in the court! Hmm… I see that Felineshipping is indeed important in this case- thus, I will allow the evidence to enter the Court Record.

ConstrictCritical: Objection! There is no reason for this to go into the Court Record, Your Honor. The court is trying DarkFoxKit today!

Key2DestNE: Overruled- the defense is claiming that you are a fan of Felineshipping, and it is a crucial point in their case. *then he pauses, blinking.* ...Though, now that you mention it… why is DarkFoxKit being put on trial? I'm afraid I'm entering this without any information, as it were.

DarkFoxKit: I had called animal control to sedate him and he called me out on it, saying it was illegal since he's technically human in a Minccino's body.

ConstructCritical: Your Honor, she is twisting my words around! I have said no such thing!

Key2DestNE: I see… Well then, we shall take a break- and then we shall learn in your own words what you say did occur, prosecution. *bangs the gavel again*

Chapter 9: Return to HQ

"Okay, do you remember it now?" Meowth asked the two.

Kit was currently banging her head on the wall. "No… more… words… please…"

Crit was staring blankly at the wall, his brain was practically dead from being used so much.

"... Just try not to say too much, it shouldn't be too hard, I mean you both survived a month of talking to other Pokemon." Meowth said.

"Why was there so much?" Kit grumbled.

"Pokemon don't use a lot of terminology as humans once did." Meowth shrugged.

"O-Okay…" Crit said cautiously, still trying to remember all the words.

"Well now, is there anything else you need?" Meowth asked them.

"Could you help us get back to HQ? We haven't been out of the HQ for a month, and as you know, before that we didn't even live here, or really even exist in this world." Crit asked him.

"HQ? You mean that place with the P.A.S.? Those stuffy Pokemon wouldn't even let me in." Meowth grumbled.

"Maybe if you come with us you can go in too." Kit suggested.

"Worth a try, don't you think…. er… we never got your name!" Crit exclaimed realizing it for the first time.

"I'm just Meowth." he said. "I don't have a nickname."

"Oh really? You're fine with just calling yourself 'Meowth'?" Kit frowned.

"Eh, I never cared for nicknames." Meowth shrugged.

"Well, I'm Crit." The Pikachu told Meowth.

"I'm called Kit." the Eevee said.

"So I take it you two are a team?" Meowth asked.

"Yeah, we're-" Kit was about to say when a Rattata came running in.

"A Shadow Pokemon entered the village!"

"What? But how!?" Meowth yelled.

"I don't know! The barrier went off for some reason and a Shadow Pokemon snuck in!" Rattata yelled frantically.

"Probably that pack we escaped from last night." Crit grumbled.

"You were attacked by a pack of Shadow Pokemon and LIVED?" Meowth shouted.

"Y-yeah, sort of… I guess we got lucky. It was a pack of Houndour." Kit said.

"Hurry! We need to get out of here!" Rattata yelled.

The Pokemon ran outside to see one Houndour growling and destroying the place, all the other Pokemon were running around in a panic.

"We have to help them, we're Crusaders now." Crit said, hoping the others would agree so he wouldn't have to face the Houndour alone.

"What do you want us to do? We almost died fighting against Shadow Pokemon!" Kit yelled, not all that willing to fight.

Crit recoiled in fear. Kit was normally passive, but he had learned she could be very scary when she got angry. "W-Well I'm going to fight it. These Pokemon are losing their homes and you're just going to run away." He said, regretting that last part after he said it. Before she could reply though, Crit ran towards the Houndour. "Stop right there!" He shouted at it, trying to sound like someone he felt like he knew when he was a human. Jerry? Jonny? Jenny? Couldn't quite put his finger on it.

The Houndour growled at him, but didn't attack, rather it just watched him. Crit frowned in confusion, wondering why it was so hesitant to attack. The Shadow Houndour circled him, watching his every move.

Crit didn't know what the Houndour was waiting for, so he took advantage of the Houndour's restraint. He quickly let loose an Electro Ball, slamming into the Houndour, seemingly doing a bit of damage as the Houndour skidded on the pavement. Still, the Pokemon quickly got up and attacked the electric rodent, apparently losing it's passive attitude.

The Houndour howled as it did that tackle with the shadowy aura, hitting the Pikachu hard and into a wall! Kit ran over to him and said, "... What is it with you and hitting walls all the time?"

"I dunno. Why aren't you fighting?" He asked defiantly, sounding a bit angrier than he meant. He dashed at the Houndour, slamming into it with a Quick Attack.

Kit looked over at the Pikachu and the Shadow Houndour. The Eevee gulped, "I-I…"

"You say you two are a team, right?" Meowth said, slowly walking up to her.

"Y-yeah…"

"Then why aren't you helping him?" Meowth asked.

Kit glared and turned to the Shadow Houndour. "..." she remembered very clearly of being burned by their Shadow Fire. "B-because… their attacks… really HURTS…"

She watched as Crit nailed the Shadow Houndour with Quick Attack after Quick Attack, hardly making a dent. "Why." Quick Attack. "Won't." Another Quick Attack. "You." Quick Attack, again. "Go." Quick Attack. "Down?!" He shouted, throwing another Electro Ball at it.

"Shadow Pokemon are very resilient, it's hard to take them down." Meowth said. "You need to watch out for their shadow attacks, like Shadow Blitz and Shadow Fire."

"Isn't there anyway to make it easier?" Kit asked, still watching the battle.

Meowth thought for a second. "I don't think so. I think the only way to take them down is by brute force. Although I did hear there was some kind Pokemon who was calling all the shots. Just rumours, though." He told the Eevee.

Just then, Crit flew in between them and landed in a wall again. He seemed to be doing that a lot. He tried to pry himself off, but he was exhausted.

Kit growled and finally she charged in with a Tackle attack at the Shadow Houndour, "Okay, fine, you want to start trouble, then I'll finish it." she snapped as she jumped at the Houndour.

The Eevee and the Shadow Houndour went at is, she used Sand-Attack to hit its eyes, distracting it while she hit it on the side with her Tackle. She kept hitting the Shadow Houndour with Tackle. Eventually the Shadow Houndour got the sand off its eyes and used Shadow Blitz and tackled her down, doing a lot of damage. "Ugh…"

Crit finally had gotten himself up, only in time to see Kit get hit by a Shadow Blitz. His heart skipped a beat, fear welling for his friend. His teeth clenched as he charged at the Houndour, firing off three Electro Balls, one after another.

Kit groaned as she rolled over and looked back at the Shadow Houndour in time to see the three Electro Balls firing at the Shadow Houndour. The Shadow Houndour whimpered as it got blasted three times and hit the wall. The Eevee stood up and looked over at the Shadow Pokemon.

"I… I think… we defeated it!" Kit said when she noticed it looked unconscious.

Crit walked over to the Houndour and poked it. It was motionless. It suddenly twitched and started moving a little. Crit Quick Attacked him one more time. "Yay… we won…" Crit said as he fell over on his back. "That was fun." He said sarcastically.

"What should we do about the Shadow Houndour?" Kit asked.

"Well, we can't leave it here." Crit said distastefully. "Maybe Mew could use it for something? Like, to study Shadow Pokemon up close?" He suggested to Kit quietly, making sure Meowth or anyone else didn't hear him.

"We don't even know where Mew is, how would we take it to her?" Kit asked him. "Look, let's just get it out of the village and let its pack find it. Shadow Pokemon are apparently super resilient so I'm sure it'll recover before long."

Crit sighed. "You're right." He said. He never seemed to be right about anything unless he was fighting. He shrugged the thought off.

Crit grabbed the Houndour and started dragging it towards the town limits. The Houndour was a lot heavier than he expected, so he wasn't making much progress. The Eevee sighed as she helped pushed the Houndour, making the Pikachu's job easier.

When the two finally got the Shadow Houndour out, they sighed in relief as they went back into the village. Kit couldn't help but looked at Crit's tail with a sense of uneasiness, "... Crit… maybe if you ever see Mew again, you should let her look at that tail… I'm just not so sure if we can say it's only a wound…"

"It's fine!" Crit shouted angrily, he wasn't sure where the anger came from, but it felt justified somehow. "Leave it alone, Kit!"

The Eevee yelped timidly from his sudden burst of anger. "O-okay… I-I was just w-worried… y-you don't have t-to do it i-if you're sure you're f-fine…" her ears lowered and her tail tucked in.

Half of Crit wanted to yell out a big 'Sorry!' to her, and the other wanted to cross his arms and look away. The latter won out, and Crit felt almost forced to ignore Kit, and he felt ashamed.

Kit felt bad, she didn't mean to upset him, she was only worried. Of course the Eevee, being as timid as she is especially around others with bad tempers, decided to not say anything or push the matter and let him cool off. The Eevee grew very quiet as she timidly followed the angry Pikachu back into the village.

Meowth was packing up his things while the two made their way back, "Hey you two! I'm ready to go-" he noticed the tension between them. "Um… is everything okay? You two kinda look like you got into a fight or something."

Kit didn't want to say anything and just stayed quiet behind the Pikachu.

Crit had calmed down over the past few minutes, and felt guilty, but he didn't show it. "We're… fine. Let's get moving." He told Meowth disinterestedly.

"... Alright then. We should get moving then before sun down, don't want to get caught out there in the middle of the night after all. You two DO know the way back to HQ right?" Meowth asked them.

Kit blinked and paled, she looked away and said quietly. "... We… weren't even sure… how we got here… we got really off track… when we were attacked…"

"Basically, no. In fact, if you recall, that was kind of one of the reasons we asked you to come with us. To show us the way." Crit told Meowth sarcastically.

Meowth facepalmed and groaned, "Right… well then… the road to HQ SHOULD be on the path, but it's still hidden for those who are not members… so you two do know how to GET IN to the HQ, right?"

The two Human-Pokemon glanced at each other. "Uh, yeah… sure… we know how to get in." Crit said nervously, he was a pretty bad liar.

Kit nervously looked away, not daring to upset Crit again, but truth be told… she doesn't really remember how to get in. They were both counting on Nidogirl to get them back in, but they hadn't seen her since they got separated yesterday.

The trio started the long hike home, with Meowth doing his best to point out landmarks and other things along the way to help them navigate the forest, but even with him, the whole trip was a big gamble to see if they would make it there, in time, and without any Shadow Pokemon encounters.

"Well we're in luck." Meowth said, looking up at the sky. "It's still bright, it's still in the middle of the afternoon, so most likely there won't be any Shadow Pokemon out here. They hate the bright afternoon, we better be glad it's not cloudy or raining or they'd be out more."

"So… why do Shadow Pokemon dislike sunlight? I mean… it's not like they're Zubats or anything." Kit answered curiously.

"Well, I'm sure there are Shadow Zubats." Crit muttered to himself.

"I-I didn't mean they're ALL Zubats." Kit sighed, hearing him muttering with her big and sensitive ears.

Meowth explained, "Shadow Pokemon don't mind sunlight… well they do, but not as much as nocturnal natural Pokemon, however, they still don't like coming out hunting into it if they can avoid it. They thrive darkness because they gain more power in the dark and shadows rather than in the light."

"So… they get weaker in the light?" Kit asked.

Meowth thought about how to word this and said, "Not weaker, but they get stronger at night. Which is why it's so dangerous to face them in the dark."

"Well I don't see why we need to discuss it in the middle of the day, it's not like there are any out here, and those that are aren't going to be a very big threat." Crit thought aloud.

"I don't know." Kit said, looking down. "That Shadow Houndour was pretty tough to take down… and that was in the early afternoon, where the sun is in it's highest point."

Crit shrugged. "Even so, they still won't come out in the day anyway, so we don't have to worry."

"I wouldn't say that." Meowth frowned. "There's a reason why Crusaders and no other Pokemon would like coming out here even in the daytime. Just because Shadow Pokemon prefer to hunt at night doesn't mean they won't come out in the daytime either, they're just not around as often."

"That's not exactly reassuring." Kit frowned.

"I guess we better stay on our… toes… paws?" Crit said, suddenly confused. "Human expression." He muttered.

After a while, maybe for about an hour, the three just kept walking. Nothing's gone wrong yet and no Shadow Pokemon in sight… that is… until Kit's ears twitched. "Uh… g-guys… I thought I-I heard something growling at us…"

Crit sniffed for a second, before growling. "They're close. I smell them." He said, a little weirded out with himself. What did they even smell like? He didn't know, but somehow, he did know, all at the same time.

Meowth looked at the Pikachu a bit uneasy, "You uh… can stand up now. You almost look like a Growlithe pointing at danger… I don't really like canine Pokemon…"

"... What does that make me?" Kit asked, looking down at herself.

Meowth shrugged, "I see you more as a vixen Pokemon than a canine one."

Then the Eevee's ears twitched again, "I-I think th-they're c-closing in on us… a-and they s-sound big… bigger than the Houndour th-that chased us l-last night…"

"If we're still being followed by that pack, there's only one Pokemon that I can think of that would be bigger than a Houndour…" Crit said nervously, reaching out for Kit's tail, before pulling back, afraid that he might startle her with the grab. "...Houndoom…" He said, gulping.

Kit shivered, "B-but we d-d-didn't see a-any Houndoom w-while being ch-chased…"

Meowth frowned, "The Houndoom must be the pack's leader. Though it's very unlikely they'd just confront other Pokemon unless they did something that really put a dent in their pack and children. Did you two… do anything to the pack last night while trying to escape?"

"Uh, we kinda, you know, probably electrocuted and tackled every single one of them…" Crit said, suddenly losing his cool.

Meowth's jaws literally dropped to the ground as he stared at the Pikachu. "You. Did. WHAT!?"

"I-it was m-my fault!" Kit spoke up. "I-I was c-caught by th-them and Crit h-had no choice b-but to do that!"

Meowth growled and said, "Don't you realize what this means? We're in danger here! Doesn't matter what time of day, if those Shadow Houndoom wants to confront us we're dead! What are you two ranks? You'd have to at least be a Silver Rank to put up a fight against just one of the Houndoom!"

Kit and Crit looked at each other and awkwardly scratched the back of their heads. How an Eevee could possibly do that without falling is incredible. The Eevee said, "... We're uh… in Normal Rank… and this is… our first mission outside of the HQ…"

"... Yeah, we're screwed." Meowth said after staring at them in horror.

"Mew, uh, could you put a good word in for us at Pokemon Heaven?" Crit thought sarcastically.

"Where are you two?" Mew mentally asked him.

"Not sure, we're somewhere on the path to HQ, and a Houndoom is on the prowl. Oh, and if I never see you again, thanks for saving us last night, because we just screwed that favor, so sorry about that." Crit thought.

"Hey, I just wanted to make sure you two make it out alive. You're both my responsibility after all. Don't worry, I'll be sure you'll be safe." Mew reassured him.

"Thanks." Crit told Mew.

"S-so what do we do?" Kit asked nervously, staying close to Meowth and Crit, though she was a bit hesitant to be close to the Pikachu after his earlier outburst.

"Just s-stay calm down." Meowth said, shivering himself. "T-they can s-smell fear…"

"We can fight them." Crit said, the same anger as before welling up inside him. He just hoped they could last until Mew got there.

The three kept moving, hoping to get out of the open before they get ambushed again. Then… two huge canine shadows appeared in front, they came into the sunlight, revealing two big Houndoom, growling at them.

Crit suddenly paled at the sight of the two giant dog Pokemon. "S-Stand back..!" He managed weakly. He sure didn't sound very confident, and that was probably because he wasn't confident. It was all lost at the terrifying appearance of the giant hounds. The already frightening Pokemon were even more threatening with their red eyes and purple aura, and they seemed to breathe pain, and hunger death.

Kit gulped as she jumped behind the two shaking Pokemon. W-why? Why am I so scared? I-I can't even m-move… The frighten Eevee thought to herself, ashamed of her own fright.

One of the Houndoom actually spoke! "You two, the Pikachu and the Eevee. You both caused a rather big ruckus in our pack the other night."

"W-Well if you stick around y-you'll meet the s-same fate!" Crit shouted nervously; it was obviously a bluff, and a very bad one at that.

"Oh? And do you think you can do that to us? Let me tell you, little Pikachu…" The two Houndoom began to circle the three, bunching them together even more. "I've fought with Crusaders like yourself… and they made delicious meals I must say, while the more stronger and worthy ones became one of us, Shadow Pokemon."

"Either way, we're not going down without a fight - that is, if we go down at all!" Crit shouted, regaining his composure slightly.

The Houndoom only smirked and laughed at this. "Fine then, let's see what you can do."

Meowth looked at the two, "Crit… how good are you two at fighting? … Kit, will you stop shaking?"

Kit gulped, "B-b-b-but I-I'm s-s-scared… c-c-can't s-s-stop s-s-s-shaking…" her body was trembling so hard it was like she was a vibrating machine.

"Oh, you know us, first mission out of HQ, met our first Shadow Pokemon last night, I'm sure we'll be fine." Crit said sarcastically, rolling his eyes at Meowth. He ran full speed at the slightly smaller Houndoom, the one who had yet to talk. He shot a Thundershock at it as he attempted to ram it, cleanly missing as the Houndoom sidestepped, leaving him to plummet into the bushes. He quickly got up and ran back to the path where they were fighting.

The Houndoom growled and easily dodged his Quick Attacked/Thundershock hybrid before it shot out some kind of poisonous smog at the Pikachu, making him choke. Kit gasped as she used Sand-Attack in her panicked state, trying to get the two Houndoom away from them, with little success. Meowth jumped at the Houndoom with his claws stretched out, using Fury Swipes, only angering the Shadow Houndoom even further.

"Look out!" Kit pounced on Meowth, getting him off of the Shadow Houndoom's face just before it shot out a powerful Shadow Fire, even far more powerful than the Houndour's Shadow Fire!

Crit Quick Attacked the Houndoom that had tried to use Shadow Fire on Meowth, completely forgetting the other one. The apparently forgotten Houndoom released a Shadow Fire that enveloped the three of them at the same time, and it felt like their whole bodies were melting. Then… everything just stopped.

When Crit opened his eyes, he saw Kit and Meowth had already passed out, completely defeated, but noticed they were floating in a pink energy ball and flying away from the two Houndoom. The Pikachu blinked and noticed his body was also burned but it wasn't as bad as Kit and Meowth. Mew flew up to him and said, "Are you okay?"

He was about to say something sarcastic, but after saving their lives - for the second time in the past 24 hours - he decided a nicer remark would be more appropriate. "Could be better, but at least I'm not dead." He said, apparently his best effort at a 'nice remark'.

Mew looked at him and the other two in concern, "... Kit and Meowth are completely defeated there… but… how are you still conscious?" she asked him.

"Maybe I'm dead and this is a dead-dream?" Crit suggested.

Mew giggled at that and said, "No, of course not! If you were, you'd be face to face with Giratina or Arceus, not little ol' me. But I'm glad I found you when I did, you could've died or been converted into a Shadow Pokemon." then she noticed the wound on his tail. "... Crit… did you get bitten by a Shadow Pokemon?"

Crit grabbed his tail, frowning as he examined it a bit more. "Oh yeah, it happened last night when I was trying to fight off the Houndour." He said, shrugging.

Mew frowned and crossed her arms and said, "And yet… nothing happened to you? Usually when a Shadow Pokemon bites you, they'd infect you with a shadow infection and turn you into a Shadow Pokemon overnight… but you're not… perhaps it's because you're human you're immune to becoming a Shadow Pokemon?"

"I guess, I mean, I'm not a Shadow Pokemon." Crit said, shrugging again. "It's funny, because this morning I woke up with Kit poking me, saying something about how she was glad I wasn't a Shadow Pokemon or something."

"Kit?" Mew looked over at the unconscious Eevee. "... Did she say anything else about it? Did she wake up in cold sweat and was screaming or something?"

"I don't know! I was asleep!" Crit shouted, frustrated. He couldn't answer everything. If he could, he would have found a way to stop Shadow Mewtwo already.

Mew sighed and said, "You might want to watch that attitude of yours, your temper is starting to get out of hand. I'll put you two back near HQ's entrance. Nidogirl is waiting for you."

"I didn't see Nidogirl, what happened to her? She didn't come to the village… also she was weird. I think I saw her eyes glow pink for a split second when we were walking to the village."Crit said, frowning.

"Perhaps Nidogirl has one of those special abilities very few Pokemon are born with. Some Pokemon can see into the future through dreams, or see what's further ahead even though they're not Psychic types." Mew said with a giggle.

Crit raised his eyebrow, but said nothing, sitting back in the bubble. Bubbles are actually surprisingly comfy, they adjusted to your weight and posture really well, instead of being really stiff.

"Once you get back to HQ, you better go to the doctors'. You may be fine, with a few burns and scratches, Crit, but the other two don't look so good." Mew said as she came closer to the pond that hid the HQ.

"Thanks Memm… Mew." He said, puzzled at himself. Mew was kind of the closest thing he had to a 'Memma' in this strange world of Pokemon, almost like one thing he could hold onto for safety and reassurance since nothing else in this place was familiar.

"Hee, hee~" Mew giggled, knowing what he almost called her. "Alright then, I'll see you later… and just remember I'm always watching even if you don't see me." she said with a wink before teleporting away and popping the bubble right next to the pond.

Crit sighed as he fell with a THUD. He grabbed the other two Pokemon and started dragging them to the water's edge, where he splashed their faces a little. "Wake up, you guys!" He hissed quietly in their ears.

Kit was the first to wake up, though she couldn't move since her body was too badly burned, she hissed. "Do you have… any Rawst Berries… to cure this… burn?"

"No. But we're outside HQ. We can probably get some inside." He told her. "Mew said Nidogirl should be around here somewhere." He thought to himself aloud.

As if on cue, the Nidoran herself came running towards them, "Y-you two! You're here and alive! Oh thank goodness, I thought I've lost you back there! How did you survive?" she checked Crit before looking at Kit and the Meowth. "Oooh, looks like you got burned out there… here, eat this." Nidogirl gave Kit a Rawst Berry, who was more than happy to eat it. "You also have a Meowth with you? What happened to you out there!?"

"Well, uh, my… mother… happened to be getting berries for dinner, when she stumbled apon us. We had escaped the Houndour pack but we were pretty much half dead. She helped us get to the village and we slept there. And what happened to you? I assume you didn't come back to HQ, and I didn't see you at the village." He said, narrowing his eyes, trying to analyze Nidogirl for something she may have been hiding.

"I was hiding from the Shadow Pokemon." Nidogirl said. "I went to the village earlier but didn't see you two. I finished delivering the medicine."

Kit sat up, feeling a lot better but still injured from the earlier fight. "I don't like Shadow Pokemon." she groaned.

"Yeah, we were in another battle on the way home. Two Houndooms attacked us, but, uh, Meowth here took them on and defeated them singlehandedly… but after the battle he just passed out, so I dragged the two back to HQ." He said, pointing to the Meowth, who didn't seem to be in a very heroic pose as he drooled in his sleep, muttering something about how someone named Jessie is always thinking about looks, rather than how to get the 'boss' to give them a better assignment.

Nidogirl blinked and looked at Crit, "... Uh-huh." she rolled her eyes.

Kit sat up and groaned, "Um… can we please… save the excuses for later? I want… to get out of the open… before anymore Shadow Pokemon… decides to come out."

Nidogirl nodded, "Right, don't worry." she tapped the ground and said the code again. "'Mew is our ancestor, we work hard to find her and she watches over us.'"

"You get Meowth and I'll get Kit." Crit said and he grabbed the Eevee's paws and started dragging her towards where the entrance of the HQ.

"Sure, sure." Nidogirl said as she picked up the still unconscious Meowth.

Kit moaned a bit as Crit gently picked her up, "I'm sorry about the trouble, Crit…"

"It's fine. We're a team." Crit said with a grin.

"And… sorry if I made you upset before." the Eevee apologized again.

Nidogirl sighed as the Meowth was beginning to drool on her, "Ugh… why must he drool in his sleep." she grumbled.

"Come on, I think the doctor's office is around here." Crit said and he hauled the Eevee through the halls, gaining some concerned looks from passing Pokemon. Things were going great until Crit slammed into a large Pokemon.

"Punk!" An angry Electubuzz shouted at him.

"S-Sorry! I just need to get my friend to the doctor's office!" He said, getting fidgety.

"We'll teach you some manners, Pikabulb!" The Electabuzz yelled, pulling his fist back to hit him.

Kit glared but didn't say anything. Nidogirl looked pretty angry herself, "I think you better step out of our way now, we've got injured Pokemon that needs to be treated."

"Aw, is the poor little Nidogirl," Laughter from the group. "Crying?" He finished, doing his best to not drop to the floor in laughter at the silly-souding name.

Nidogirl growled and said, "Yes, just keep laughing. Come on Crit, let's go."

Kit frowned, "You're just going to let them talk to you like that?"

"Trust me, if they keep laughing it's a perfect scotch-free get away for us, we don't upset them, and they let us go." Nidogirl said.

Crit made a mad dash towards what he was fairly sure was the Pokedoctor's office, with Kit in tow. He stopped at a room labelled 'DOCTOR WIGGLYTUFF' on the door. "I think this is the place." Crit announced.

Nidogirl looked uneasy, "... Dr. Wigglytuff… uh… is she the only one in right now?"

"Why?" Kit asked. "What's wrong?"

The Nidoran looked down nervously and said, "Uh… well… Dr. Wigglytuff is kinda… out there… let's just say you might not really want her to have to operate on you, like EVER."

"What?" the Eevee blinked.

"You'll see what I mean soon enough." Nidogirl sighed as she opened the door.

There they see a Wigglytuff in a white coat and a strap on her head with a stethoscope. When the Wigglytuff turned to them she suddenly got wide eyes and a big smile on his face, "... Oooooh! More friends to cure!"

"Uh…" Suddenly Kit started to get a bad feeling.

Crit blinked. "Oh, um, hello! Could you help us out?" He asked as he noticed the Wigglytuff bouncing up and down, not coming to a full stop for a second.

"Really? Yay! Not many people come here to get a cure but I just love love love to help anyone and everyone!" Wigglytuff shouted as she dashed around the room at seemingly light speed, grabbing tools, a chainsaw, and a bowl of colorful stuff. She quickly ran over to Kit and dragged her onto a table, and strapped her in, allowing for no movement whatsoever.

"Wh-wh-what are you doing!?" Kit yelled, scared suddenly and struggled. "Let me out of here!"

"Oh, don't worry! This won't hurt! Please stand back everyone." Wigglytuff said, still bouncing. She quickly picked up the chainsaw and powered it up. "Stay still." She said she pushed the chainsaw towards the Eevee.

"I don't think that's safe!" Crit called out, a look of worry on his face.

"Creampuff! Stop!" Nidogirl yelled as she slapped the chainsaw out of the Wigglytuff's hands… stubby arms. "We're not here for an operation you crazy doctor! We're just here to help with the pain and burns they suffered from a powerful Shadow Fire attack."

The Wigglytuff shrugged and pulled another chainsaw out of her pocket. It was a mystery how she fit it in there, but she quickly powered it up again and started cutting the Eevee's hair into an intricate design. "Don't worry! I'm a professional!" She exclaimed excitedly, still bouncing, yet not leaving a single tiny paper-cut on Kit's skin.

"LET ME OUT OF HERE! I DON'T WANT TO BE SLICED IN HALF!" the Eevee shrieked in terror as she began to frantically bite the straps holding her down.

"Oh, don't be a silly-willy. Now you're just making up funny stories!" Wigglytuff said, snorting. She delicately cut the fur, and then threw the chainsaw in a random direction, jamming itself into the wall.

The crazy Wigglytuff then picked up something purple. It had black crossbones on it, with a black Pokemon skull to match. "Eat up!" She exclaimed cheerfully.

Kit's eyes widen and kept her mouth shut, though the Meowth was still unconscious, so the Creampuff could easily just open his mouth and pour that poison in.

"Creampuff, what are you doing?" Nidogirl grumbled, not seeming to be on high alarm from this, like she experienced this before.

"Oh, it's just something I made up in the lab." She said, pointing to a door which everyone had apparently ignored. She quickly opened the door, showing some explosions happening.

Kit's mouth gaped for a second in shock from her 'lab', and Creampuff used the opportunity to stuff the purple thing inside her mouth. It quickly dissolved, so there was no time to spit it out, or even yelp for help.

The Eevee's eyes widen as she screamed, "I'M GOING TO DIE BY POISON!"

Nidogirl sighed, "Relax Kit…" she pat the panicking Eevee's back. "You're not going to die, just relax."

"SHE STUFFED POISON IN MY MOUTH AND MADE ME DRINK IT!" Kit yelled, still panicking and crying.

Wigglytuff burst out in laughter. "Oh, you're so funny! Poison? You crack me up!" Creampuff said, as cheery as ever. She quickly grabbed another one of the purple things, showing it to Kit, and on close examination, showed footprint characters above the black crossbones and skull. "It says 'Anti', silly-billy!" Creampuff said, laughing her heart out.

Crit, who had stayed mostly silent up until now. "And you couldn't say that before you stuffed it into their mouths?!" He asked her, shouting at the top of his lungs.

"A-Anti? As in antibodies?" Kit asked, still shaking in fear on the strapped bed.

Nidogirl sighed as she slapped herself in the face. "This is Dr. Creampuff, she's very random but a very good doctor. She's… hard to understand, but that's how she works."

"WHAT WAS WITH THE CROSS BONES!?" Kit shouted. "I thought I was gonna die!"

"Anti-Poison! Your wounds were infected, you weren't going to turn into a Shadow Pokemon, but it could have killed you, and I just saved your life! All in a days work for…" Creampuff got into the pose of a superhero. "Creampuff!" She finished heroically.

"You didn't bother to tell the Eevee just so you can watch her freak out?" Nidogirl said, deadpanned.

"Good idea! We should party! They say I'm the best Party Pokemon this side of the hemisphere!" She shouted as a Disco ball appeared from the ceiling, and the lights turned off, while colored ones started bouncing off the Disco Ball and onto the walls. Creampuff quickly unstrapped the two Pokemon and started dancing.

Crit sweatdropped. "I think we better get going…"

"I'm NEVER coming back to THIS doctor again!" Kit whimpered, getting behind Crit as soon as she was freed.

ConstructCritical: Your Honor, I was thrown into a cell; bars and all. I was left to die. I threatened to call my Attorney, but she told me I wouldn't ever have a chance. She then called Animal Control and had me taken away.

Key2DestNE: Hmm… I see, I see… Well then, prosecution, do you have any explanation or evidence for why she, as you've put it, 'threw you into a cell; bars and all'?

ConstructCritical: Your Honor, I believe that DarkFoxKit herself can testify that she did indeed put me in a cell. She is forced to tell only the truth, is that not correct, Your Honor?

Key2DestNE: Hmm… It is indeed- well then, is this true, defense? Did you put the prosecution in a cell as he claims you have done?

DarkFoxKit: Your Honor, I did not put him in any cells, I only had them sedate him. What they did after that wasn't anything to do with me. I had him sedated because he was literally going out of control- I had no other choice, it was out of self-defense.

ConstructCritical: You and I both know that is flat out lies! I was fleeing in terror before you put me inside the cell while I was scared half to dea-

Key2DestNE: *bang! bang!* Order! Order in the court! *mutters under his breath* Geez, you two really go at it a lot… *ahem* Now then, I have heard both sides of the argument- however, I have only seen evidence thus far that ConstructCritical is indeed a Felineshipper. No other facts are being corroborated by both the prosecution and the defense- thus, I must turn to the witnesses of this case. Do either of you have any witnesses to corroborate your cases?

DarkFoxKit: Yes your Honor, we had plenty of people watching us when it happened.

Key2DestNE: Well then, we shall take another break and you shall both call in your witnesses and bring together any evidence you both have. *bang!* Court is adjourned until the next update!

DarkFoxKit: *holds the camera to her face* Hey guys… you've all seen what really happened, right? Back me up here with your reviews, okay?

ConstructCritical: You all saw what actually happened. Getting me punished for this mess would be injustice!

Key2DestNE: I SAID COURT IS AJOURNED! *shoves them out of the courthouse*
