Police sirens were blaring off all around, being heard from a mile away. "Do not cross" yellow lines swept all around the borders as men in suits and police officers crowded the area of the mutilated murder scene.

"Holy shit. That looks brutal"

A rookie suited agent looked down at what used to be Cyrus as his teammate who stood beside him simply took off his sunglasses with a serious expression on his face.

"Body is mutilated beyond recognition, limbs torn off and torso partially eroded away severely by some highly acidic substance. It is still unknown as to who or what could have caused this citizens demise, but we know for sure that we have to find it and detain it as soon as possible before something like this happens again"

The agent turned to the rookie with a serious look on his face.

"Be on your toes, Ryan"

"uh..." Ryan looked a little confused.

"What do you mean Markus?"

Markus kept his blank stare and put his sunglasses back on. Turned around and signaled Ryan to follow.

Markus was one of the best agents at the crime fighting agency he and Ryan worked for. Lucky Ryan was assigned to work with Markus for his first few weeks working in the field. Nothing much else was known about Markus, other than he took his job seriously and fought for justice as close as you could get to some kinda superhero. But that's how Ryan saw it, fresh out of university and into the work force.

"I'm done here. I'll explain the rest to you back at HQ. However you should look around more and ask a few witnesses and relatives. Bit of extra training for information gathering"

"uh, right, Sir!"

Ryan looked around as his clearly more experienced co-worker got into a shiny black, relatively new car and drove off. The rookie looked for anyone to ask them anything and picked out a sad looking older couple that looked as confused as he was. He walked up to them, trying to look official, pulling out a notepad and getting their attention with a simple "Excuse me fellas".

The couple were clearly feeling emotional over this murder. Must have been relatives. The woman sobbing into a handkerchief and what is assumed to be her husband trying to calm her down with one arm around her shoulders.

"Excuse me fellas, but do you know anything about the victim at all? Were you relatives of his?"

The woman turned to him and tried to answer his questions, but couldn't mutter anything out behind the sniffing and wails of sorrow. Her husband then stepped in and answered for her.

"Cyrus. He was going to be our Son-in-Law."

"Supposed to be?"

"Y-yes. He was engaged to our daughter, Asuka. A few days ago, he took her into his workplace at the Weyland-Yutani building and we haven't seen her since..."

Ryan's hand tried to keep up with what the witness was saying. This could be a great leading point. He had to find out more about this Asuka person, or at least tell Markus about her.

"Can you tell me more about Asuka?"

"Oh! If you think she'd have something to do with this that's awful!"

Ryan was slightly taken aback by this sudden comment.

"I er... Just doing my job?"

Ryan didn't know how to respond to that. He couldn't say that he already suspected her because it might well be that she didn't do anything. However he had to look at all options.

The woman began to speak up now.

"W-Well, she's 18 years old, has long hair she dyes blue but is naturally a dark brown, has big goofy glasses because she has poor eyesight, not that horrible glasses trend. She also has no sense of style, always wearing turtlenecks and either a skirt with long socks or a pair of jeans. Horrid looks for a young lady but thats beside the point."

Ryan didn't understand the short fashion ramble but wrote it down nonetheless. HE wasn't able to get anything else out of them aside from that since they were still mourning, so he headed to his car and drove back to meet up with Markus at their office building. He didn't think to ask anyone else at the scene since everyoe else were police officers.

As he exited his car and headed into the building to his and Markus' office, he couldn't help but think that this case was a little... odd. Not in the aspect of the mangled body but the fact that Asuka's parents, the ones he questioned, seemed to be more upset over the loss of their son in law than the fact that their only daughter was and had been missing for almost several days now. From what he gathered, Cyrus was a rich guy. Asuka came from a poor family. Were her parents really that hooked on wealth?

Before he could finish his thought, Ryan entered his office and was interrupted by Markus' abrupt greeting of, "What did you find?".

"I-I'm not exactly sure. I found out about a girl called-"

"Asuka. 18. victims Fiance and missing for days. Correct?"

"uh, yeah"

"what else?"

"I... uh..."

"You need to work harder than that, son. This isn't school anymore"

Markus stood up and flicked through some notes he's made based on the body alone. He had already gotten a step closer to the answer of this crime.

"Ryan. Sit down. This could be a mouthful to digest"

The Rookie agent took a seat and the Markus began to explain the Weyland-Yutani corporation and the evil that lies beneath it. Including the Xenomorphs and the tests preformed on them. Ryan couldn't believe his ears.

"H-How? What do big black alien acid bleeding monsters have to do with anything?"

"Ryan. Cyrus worked at this corporation. He worked with these things and when the building collapsed and he escaped, one tracked him down to seek revenge. the acid and horrific mutilation should show that to anyone that knows these things"

"What about Asuka then? What about you? How do you know all of these things about them?"

"She's dead. There's no way she would have escaped a xenomorph. As for me... I used to work as I.T. security in the 'secret' sections only few knew about which concerned the Xenomorphs. However I quit several years ago when I witnessed what one could do. I knew then I couldn't help them with their projects"

Markus stood up, gathered his files and placed them in an organised set of drawers full of case files. He turned back to Ryan and made a final statement.

"I'm sending someone out into the woods tomorrow. That acid blood left a trail and we're going to follow it and eliminate any Xenomorphs. They can't be allowed to live"

A shorter chapter, (feels slightly rushed. Sorry Q_Q) but I'm starting to cover some other areas and make this a little bigger than just "Asuka and Lucifer in the woods".

Sorry if you don't dig the whole 'heavy dialogue' thing, but it's just this once with the crime agency guys. I swears it. XD But what do you think of these two new characters and finally the introduction of Asuka's parents? B)

Don't be afraid to give a review, good or bad. :3 I'm gunna work on tidying up some older chapters if I have the time but I'm packed with university and shizz right now so we'll see. XD

I'll be trying to respond to all reviews, but if you don't get one then you're listed as "guest" so I literally can't reply. :C

As per usual, Hope you enjoyed this chapter and stick around for the next installment, Chapter 9: Unthinkable. :D I wonder what could possibly happen next. B)
