How long has it been?

August 7th of last year?

Damn... That's a long time...

Sorry for such late update my little loyal fledglings, long story short, I fell into what felt like a endless abyss of writer's block that endlessly plagued me for hours on end then I started working for one of Hell's many offices- Wal-Mart- and then I fell terribly ill to the point I woke up in an Urgent Care... So many of my other fanfics didn't get updated.

'But you had time to make a new one.'

You say, but that's something different... Honest. Inspiration struck me through another genre, series and of course, Netflix which gave me back my power. So without further a due here's you're long awaited fifth chapter.

Enjoy. :3

It didn't take long for Sweden and America to reach the gully in which the meteor had made its home among the columns of smoke and thickening air of burning land that were littered with a few fire patches here and there and various twisted metals. Once the pulled up all three men removed themselves from the police car and made their way further up the hill. Trying to get clarity and understanding.

"The power lines are down." America said, pointing to the twisted remains of what was once a power line supporter*.

"That explains why the lights went out." Sweden hummed as he walked a little closer.

The one officer nodded as he reached for the headlight that was attached to his car, shifting it until it flickered on and he moved it one direction. He gasped, grabbing both America and Sweden's attention.

"What-"

"What's wrong?"

"The car." The was the only response. "Look at the cars."

Sweden and America both turned and were shocked by the scene that awaited them. What was once a truck was nothing more then the axel and wheels covered in burnt and melted metal that fused to the remains of another car's remains covered in a light dusting of dirt.

"America?" Sweden asked, eyes not leaving the scene.

"Yeah?"

"Weren't there three men posted up here?"

"Yeah- But..." America looked around. "I don't see them anywhere."

"Found them!" The officer said. "At least, I think that was them."

He moved the light to shine upon three piles of snow-white ashes that lied upon the ground in the forms of three bodies. Sweden and America shuddered slightly.

"What happened?" America whispered. "What's going on?"

"I don't know and I don't like it. Your people are starting follow us up here." Sweden answered. "We need to section thi-"

"What the hell is that?!"

Both nations halted when a mechanical pulsing sound reached their ears and all three men looked up and found themselves face to face with a cobra-shaped head piece that was supported by a long goose-link neck piece that was coming from the meteorite. The red eye in center seemed to glow brighter and the pulsing sound grew louder and faster as it stared back at the three men.

"Oh god."

That snapped the trance the two nations were under when in a fit of fear of panic, the officer that accompanied them up to the hillside fumbled with the car door before jumping in and starting the vehicle. It further broke the trance when both nations realized that the coward intended to leave them there with the mysterious and possibly dangerous creature.

Check that.

Definitely dangerous.

"AMERICA! NO! GET UNDER COVER!"

America immediately ran to try and grab the bumper of the car, hoping to prevent the man from leaving them behind, when Sweden's eyes widen in sudden realization and ran after the American nation, before wrapping his arms around his waist and yanked him toward a large mound of dirt that shielded the two nations from the red beam that was showered in the direction of the car. The police car and the officer inside were no more a melted puddle of twisted metal and burnt tires. Any brush around the area quickly sprung up in flames. America's eyes widen, before he bravely peeked up over the mound to view the new threat.

"What the hell is that?" America whispered, eyes wide as he watched the creature lower its head and continued look around its surroundings.

"I think 'That' is a machine from another planet." Sweden breathed, as he too watched the machine.

"Machine?" America blinked, turning to look to the Swedish nation. "From another planet? How can you be sure? I mean, yeah, Tony's an alien but..."

"Not all lifeforms out there are as friendly and nice as Tony."

"Huh... Never thought of that." America looked back to the machine in the gully. "Think we should get word to all the other nations?"

"Wouldn't hurt."

"Look." America whispered, pointing up to the sky.

Sweden blinked, turning to the American nation before following his arm and looked to sky himself. Blazing down toward another hill, was a purple-white meteorite... Similar falling pattern and size that one in front of them did when it first came down. The second one fell in another gully not far away with a slight bang. This wasn't boding well...

"America... Do you still have contact with Germany?"

"Yeah..." America sighed...

"Get word to him, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria and any other nation possible." Sweden breathed. "We're going to need all countries in by tomorrow."

"Yeah..." America bit his lip. "Do you think we'll have another war on our hands?"

"I don't know." Sweden sighed, thoughts suddenly shifting to Finland. "I really don't know. I hope not... Everyone's barely recovered from WWII."

"Yeah..." America sighed as he looked back to the machine. "I don't know what to do..."

"Hmm?"

"If that's the case, I mean... I don't what to do."

"Let's get the nations out here and the military out here and then we' will decide..."

"Right."

The two nations crouched low and moved down the hill toward town as quietly as possible so as not to alert the creature in the meteorite of their presence. It didn't take them long to raise an alarm.

*= Don't know what they're really called.
