Chapter 4
Sake Sirens
All the girls stared at the man with various looks of shock. They hadn't sung in front of anyone since leaving Zaraki. Back home they would sing at Barkeeps to liven things up or just for fun. As a result the group was given the name "Sake Sirens" by all the men.
All of their songs were written by Tama and composed by Mio. Dancing was covered by Akali and Ahri where clothing was handled by Tsubasa and Mitsukuni. Tien and Tosai covered the stage set up and special effects and Kayo somehow managed to keep everything from going to hell.
It eventually got to the point where people were coming from all over Zaraki just to see the "Sake Sirens". They even had themed nights where they drew a ballot from a hat and whatever was written on it was their theme. Once it was "Sexy Ninja" and another it was "French Maid", though they vowed to never mention that night again.
Their outfits always stayed within the theme perimeter and no one outside of the bar staff knew who they really were. Tama simply used Kogitsune to disguise them so that their lives on and off the stage would stay separate. Now that they were Shinigami it seemed even more important that those two lives never blended.
This is why the girls were so shocked by Barkeep's request. He knew they didn't want people making a connection, so why would he even ask. They couldn't help but look at each other tensely before turning to face Tama who looked really pale.
"Well how bout it girls? How about a song for old time's sake?" And there it was the one thing none of the girls could resist. Sasame Tendo's famous puppy pout. It had the ability to melt hearts, change minds and get free food. It also had the ability to make it damn near impossible to tell him no, well unless you're Tama.
"No way in hell." It was short and to the point. In other words blunt, very, very blunt. Mio looked at Tama from the corner of her jade eyes slightly grateful that Byakuya wouldn't see that part of her, at least not yet.
"But why not?! You're amazing, the most beautiful voices in the Seireitei and Rukongai put together. I think the people here would enjoy it!" Barkeep pushed. He really couldn't believe Tama turned him down so quickly. If Tama didn't sing none of them would, it was just the way they worked.
"Forget it pops we ain't singing. You know it's too risky. What if he somehow heard? Then I'd have to deal with yet another game of "Hide from the Stalker". Besides the last thing we need is people making a connection." Tama's tone should have been a clear enough warning but Barkeep was a stubborn man and simply ignored it.
"Come on Tama, when was the last time you just cut loose. I mean you know what they say; "all work and no play makes Tama a dull girl". Ok even he knew that was low and childish but he also knew that if there was one thing Tama hated it was being called dull. Well actually Barkeep figured she hated being called anything but her name really.
The girls snapped their heads to stare at Tama's frozen form. She looked like a statue. Still Mio knew that Barkeep had gotten to her. If she didn't sing she would lose this pointless game and if there was one thing K. Tama Taisho didn't do it was lose
Tama was tempted to slam her fists on the table in frustration but resisted. In all honesty Barkeeps behavior was perfectly normal for the old man. He had never really understood why they hid themselves and their talents. Still this wasn't Zaraki, people here didn't need nor care to know about their past. Still even she had to admit she missed the freedom she had grown accustomed to.
As if sensing her thoughts the other girls sighed. It was pathetic really. They went from the most feared to hiding in hopes it wouldn't affect their careers. It was at that thought that Tama laughed. Ignoring the startled look that Barkeep sent her the forth seat looked at her team, a dangerous but playful glint in her eye.
"You do realize there's really no point in saying no right?" Her voice was filled with something akin to humor.
"What do you mean? You know damn well there's a good reason to say no!" Mio exclaimed shocking most by her outburst.
"Actually there isn't. Think about it, we say no because we don't want our past to interfere with our current life and careers. However I fail to see the point when we have already less than normal terms with our captains. Tien kissed hers, Tosai was restrained, Kayo is protected by hers from his lieutenant, you already made lieutenant, Mitsukuni is on her captains shoulder, Ahri and Akali wear name tags and I'm fucking engaged to mine. Tsubasa is the only normal one here!" Tama listed amused by the reactions she received.
"Therefore I say fuck it and do what we want and I want to sing!" The leader of B.O.S. declared proudly.
"You know she does have a very good point. We never stopped doing what we wanted before so why start now?" Tosai said gently.
Mio looked at them all she more than any of them loved to sing. It was literally in her blade and blood. Still part of her was scared as to what her captain would think.
"Come on Mio. You know we can't do it without you!" Tien whined knowing how much she hated it. It was funny but whining usually mad the red head agree to anything if only to make you shut up.
"Fine I'll do it but if I get demoted in the near future I'm blaming all of you! And I hope that creep finds you!" She stated coldly. However the girls were completely unfazed except for Tama who paled a bit.

Barkeep couldn't believe his ears. They were actually going to go through with it? Then again they hardly ever said no to Tama. Still he couldn't help but wonder how these men would react to his girls. He was sure they had no idea as to what was about to happen.
Never in his life did Kenpachi feel more relieved than when Tama called him her fiancé. He thought for sure he was going to be put in the "it's complicated" zone. Without even realizing it he let out a quiet sigh of relief. This did not go unnoticed but his fellow captain and squad members.
Ichigo almost burst out laughing at the mention of the name tags. He knew he would learn to tell the twins apart eventually, maybe. However he almost felt like informing the girls that Tsubasa wasn't normal at all considering how fast and hard said girl's captain had fallen for her. Seeing the downright murderous look Renji was giving though he decided to keep it to himself, for now.
At the mention of the kiss the captains sent looks of disapproval to Kyoraku, who simply sighed with a goofy grin on his face while his best friend laughed at the reminder of restraining Tosai. She was surprisingly strong and he quite enjoys the feeling of the young woman wiggling against him, not that he would ever admit it out loud.
Iba simply smiled at his captain and squad member as they sat together. Mitsukuni was rubbing his one ear and it seemed he was enjoying it immensely. The lieutenant silently hoped that his kind captain had finally found someone even if it was only as a friend.
Toshiro was silent during the whole exchange. His eyes never strayed from Kayo's small form for an extended period of time. He was curious as to how she would act outside of work. Meanwhile Byakuya was busy admiring Mio's body. He vaguely wondered if she knew just how tempting she looked at the moment.
She had her hands on the table with her back arched. This caused her breasts to jut out and her bottom to become even perkier. He felt his hand actually twitch with the want to touch her. It was almost scary just how much he wanted her. Hatori was defiantly a force to be reckoned with.
Yumichika shared a look with Ikkaku that spoke volumes. Silently the two called on a Jigokuchō and sent a message to a friend of theirs in the twelfth division. Both knew Tama and her friends would kill them if they ever found out but they also knew that the captains would pay big for it.

"Fine but if we are going to do this then we are going to do this right! Girls I'm thinking "Maji Love 1000%" would be just about right don't you?" Mio's voice took on an excited tone. She loved this song and every one had worked so hard on it but this would be the first time they ever performed it.
"That's perfect! We finished the sketches the other day as well, take a look." Mitsukuni stated while handing over a sketch book that no one knew she had.
"We were thinking our usual coloring since it is most fitting." Tsubasa added while pouring Renji another drink and giving said captain a dazzling smile.
"Yeah, this won't be a problem. You guys really out did yourselves this time. Mio you know the switch tie right?" Tama asked her blue eye almost glowing.
"Of course I'm ready whenever you are boss." Came her cool reply.
"Alright then, ladies let's do this! You boys just sit back and enjoy the show." Tama ordered with a wicked grin before leading the girls over to a small stage where they explained what was going on and who they were to the owner.
"Ladies, gentlemen and Matsumoto. It is with great honor that I present to you the amazing and legendary singers that are rumored to capture all those who listen to their songs. I present to you the "Sake Sirens"! After multiple cheers and applause the lights dimmed and the curtains opened. Then with a flash of lights it started.
"Doki, doki de kowaresou 1000% LOVE HEY!"
"Ten, are you ready?" The spot light fell on Tien.
"Nine, are you ready?" The light moved to Mio.
"Eight, are you ready?" Next it jumped to Tsubasa.
"Seven, six." Colorful lights flashed all over.
"Five, are you ready?" This time the light landed on Tosai
"Four, are you ready?" Followed by Tama.
"Three, are you ready?" Finally it landed on Mitsukuni.
"Two, one." Once again colorful lights began to flash. Then all at once the girls broke into a dance routine while singing in perfect harmony.

"Fushigi na RAVE!" The two sang together as Mitsukuni and Tsubasa moved out front.

"Futari de tsumuide" Mitsukuni replied without missing a beat.
"KISU yori" Tsubasa sang back to her smaller friend.
"Sugoi" Mitsukuni answered cutely.
"Uta de sekai wo tsukuro" Both women sang together perfectly. Once more all the girls lined up before singing in perfect unison.

Once more everyone stepped forward to sing.

"Tsuyoku" Mio sang stepping out of the line.
"Hibiku" Tama sang moving with her in sync.
"KNOCKING ON THE MIND" Mio called out.

"Soshite" Mio sang once more before Tama joined in on the next line.
"Toki hanatsu SING!" Both girls were practically glowing.
"Otokogi zenkai" Mitsukuni sang moving to the front of the stage.
"ORION koete" Tsubasa said joining her side.
"Niji yori" The little red head sang out.
"Kagayaku" Tsubasa sang her chest bouncing all the while.
"Hana wo sakasemashou" The duo sang out to the audience. All the girls came forth performing a dance routine while singing together like it was simply breathing.

By the time they had finished the bar was packed and people were screaming out for more. The girls looked at their table to see all the men wearing similar looks of disbelief. Even Barkeep looked gob smacked by their performance. They couldn't help the feeling of pride filling their chests.
Tama stepped forward the others following behind her and bowed. Quickly glancing at Mio she smiled impishly. The red head knew that look all too well, so with a devilish grin of her own she signaled the others. The lights dimmed and the crowd grew quiet in surprise. However the roaring returning when music was heard, the Sake Siren's were giving an encore.
The beat was fast. This time it was Tama, Tien, Tosai, Mio and Kayo that appeared on stage. Their outfits were different yet again thanks to their leaders zanpakuto. Tien was wearing skin tight leather pants with knee high worn black combat boots. Her top was an over-sized t-shirt that went off her shoulder and a camo print bikini top.
Tosai much like her sister wore skin tight pants but hers were denim. She had cute worn brown ankle boots on her feet and her top was also an over-sized t-shirt only cut and tied at her midriff. Unlike Tien's her bikini top had polka dots on it.
Mio looked as sexy as she felt. She had fishnet stockings on and if you looked close enough you'd see they were purple. Paired with them were high-wasted black shorts and a very tight dark purple tank top. She had purple converse on her feet and fishnet gloves that went to her elbows on her hands. Boy did she feel hot.
Kayo held her head high in her rocker-esque garb. Shredded skinny jeans and knee-high blue converse covered the lower half of her small frame while a long sleeve black shirt with a white lion crest clothed the top. The sleeves had been cut and then retied at her wrists leaving the rest of the material to hang loose.
Finally the light fell on Tama. She smirked at the open mouthed fools. She wore loose shredded jeans that sat low on her hips. White D.C. high tops were on her feet look pristine. Covering her chest was a bandana. It was a rich blue with a single silver crescent moon in the center. It was paired with an over-sized white padded vest that was obviously for a man. Her eye patch was now white and made her blue eye almost glow in contrast. Looking over at Tien she nodded. It was time to start the show.
Returning the smirk and nod the older twin stepped forward and begun to sing, a sudden shift from her usually lazy personality. She was intense on stage but then again this was one of her favorite songs.
"Electric" Tien sang.
"Electric shock" Tosai sang moving to stand next to her sister.
"E-E-E" They all sang.
"Electric" Tien finished.
"E-E-E" The group sang once more.
"Electric" Tosai finished in place of her sister.

"Black hole cheoreom" Tosai sang confidently.
"Yeah!" B.O.S called out in harmony.
"Poallyeodeureoga" Tosai continued.
"HAHA!" Came the girl's voices.
"Kkeuchi aboyeo" The younger twin sang.
"Yeah!" The group replied.
"Deolo jyeo kung" Tosai finished.
"Oh" They answered in unison.
"Yeoginneun eodi?" Kayo sang earning loud cheers from the crowd.
"Yeah" The girls called.
"Yeolshimhi dingdongdingdong, Daeche nan nugu?" The silverette continued.
"A-HA!" Her band mates retaliated shaking their hips in time with their words.

I'm in shock" Mio sang beautifully shocking many by just how much emotion there was.

Just then the lights started moving faster. All the girls lined up and started another dance routine.

"Malmuni makhyak" Tosai's rang out as she stepped forward. She was mesmerizing.
"Yeah" the others sang.

"Electric, electric, electric shock" Kayo said before giving a cute smile. This resulted in nose bleeds and fainting amongst the crowd.

"E-Electric shock!" Tien sang along with the silverette.

"E-E-E-ELECTRIC SHOCK" Tien sang beside her twin bringing the song to a close. As the final words were sung Tama made illusionary fireworks go off. Everyone cheered and screamed as the girls bowed and left the stage.
"I don't know about you guys but I could use a drink!" Tama exclaimed. Nothing made her feel better except fighting really strong opponents.
"Yeah" The group cheered returning to their table.

As Tama and the girls walked away Kenpachi couldn't help but stare. She had been hitting back drinks pretty hard yet she didn't seem fazed at all. Not only that but he couldn't help but notice that her normal clothes fit her a lot better than her uniform ever did.
"Tama drank a lot back in Zaraki. It'll take more than that to affect her. All my girls can hold their liquor better than most of the men back in our district." Barkeep said answering the questions going through everyone's mind.
"Wait! You're telling me that Kayo is a drinker?!" The tenth division captain asked in shock. Akari was nothing like Matsumoto!
"She sure is. Kayo only drinks with Tama and the others though. I've never seen her with sake when she's alone." Barkeep answered. He saw the panic in the boy's eyes and the father in him wanted to comfort the small captain.
"What about my dear Tien-chan?" Kyoraku asked playfully already knowing the answer. Somehow he just couldn't picture her not having a bottle of sake on her at all times.
"Haha Tien never went anywhere without her booze. She would always have a drink before a fight just to piss em off. No matter whom her opponent, Soul or Hollow, Tien always treated em the same." The slight change in his tone did not go un-noticed.
"And just how did she treat them?" Shunsui asked prepared for whatever answer he was given. The group watched as the man's eyes grew darker losing their playful glint.
"The same way all the other members of B.O.S. treat their opponents. The way Tama taught them to, as nothing more than targets. As far as their concerned Hollows are nothing but mindless beasts, if the beast entered their territory they would kill it. You men need to realize something real fast. These girls may look cute and play nice but they are from Zaraki. They have killed. They have lived a life you will never and I mean never understand." Sasame was rarely serious. However the men he was sitting with needed to know that these kittens had not only claws but fangs too.
"I know. I've already seen a glimmer of that side of Kayo. I won't lie I was shocked but all it did was make me respect her more and feel grateful that she's on my side." Toshiro stated honestly. He didn't like the man's tone it felt like he was trying to scare them off.
"Now that you mention it Tien was able to find me even with my reiatsu hidden any idea as to how?" The eighth division captain asked somewhat wary.
"That's not surprising, little Tien is a tracker after all. Hunting people down by using reiatsu location is her specialty. However I don't know how she does it, she always just said she loves hide and seek. What did Kayo do to give you this glimmer?" Barkeep was surprised, not that it showed. Kayo didn't normally show her darker side in fact she could most likely pass as the normal one in the group.
"Akira used a pressure point technique to paralyze my lieutenant. When she explained what she did and why she had to learn it her eyes grew dark." Hitsugaya stated trying in vain to ignore the stares he was receiving.
"I'm surprised Kayo-chan showed that side of herself to you. She's normally quite reserved much like Mio." Barkeep stated in slight awe. He noticed that the captain of the sixth division straightened slightly at the mention of the red head.
"What can you tell me about Hatori?" The sixth division captain asked while ignoring the shocked looks of the others at the table. Barkeep however simply looked at the others in confusion. He guessed the stotic man didn't talk much.
"Well Mio already had her blade when Tama and the others found her. Tama said she reminded her of an old friend. From what I remember she was very closed off at first but now she is fiercely protective of the girls. Tama most of all, says she owes her everything." Sasame said slowly trying to remember what else the B.O.S. leader had told him.
"What about Ritsu-chan? What do you know about her?" Renji asked practically bouncing in his seat. However his bright expression fell when Sasame's eyes darkened. Something in his eyes caused the air to shift.
"Tsubasa and Mitsukuni weren't found by Tama they were rescued. You see there is a reason people call Zaraki the worst of the worst. The girls were in a brothel. When Tama couldn't buy their freedom she took the entire place down and killed everyone involved in the business. She saved them from a life worse than Hell."The older man finished his voice barely above a whisper.
It was silent for a moment. Then a low growl ripped through the air. All eyes shot towards the large wolf-like captain who was literally shaking from rage. If it wasn't for the owner stepping onto the stage Iba was sure they would've had to restrain him.
"Ladies, gentlemen and Matsumoto. It is with great honor that I present to you the amazing and legendary singers that are rumored to capture all those who listen. I give to you the one the only SAKE SIRENS!" With that everyone clapped and cheered before silencing with the dimming of the lights.
When the lights started to flash before landing on each of the girls the men could only stare. They were in various versions of the same uniform with their own signature color standing out against the white material. Watching them dance in sync the guys really couldn't help but wish they were the only ones present. Everyone in the bar was drooling over their women!
Kenpachi made a mental note to kill the men reaching out at his fiancé, not that the idiots knew they were engaged but still Tama was his woman so that meant he was the only one allowed to touch her with sexual intent and judging by the looks she was getting there were a lot of men with that intent.
Barkeep looked at the large captain as he watched Tama in awe, his eyes occasionally darting to the men reaching for her. He almost felt bad for the guy knowing he was going to have to fight every male and his mother to keep them away from her. Tama may not have cared about how others see her but she was a bomb shell and it seemed her brute of a fiancé finally realized it.
Shunsui smiled as he watched his assistant sing and dance. The man was trying to come up with a way to get her to wear that outfit to work. Now the eighth division captain knew she was hot but this had taken it to a whole new level. Maybe they could make a bet? Oh maybe he could bride her into wearing it for him!
Looking over to Tien's captain Barkeep smirked. The man was openly ogling her. It seemed like he was thinking hard about something and seeing how his eyes never left Tien's form he figured it had something to do with the older twin. Clearly these men were in for a shock because the outfits his girls were wearing were simple and tame compared to some of the girls had ended up in. the man grinned remembering the maid outfits.
Jushiro Ukitake did not know what to do. On the one side he was Tosai's captain and it would be wrong to act out his growing desires on her as soon as they got back to their division but on the other side he was a man. He knew dating subordinates was frowned upon but it wasn't actually going against any rules. Still as a captain he felt obligated to be a shining example for his squad yet seeing Tosai dancing was quickly making that obligation fade into wanton attraction.
Sasame smiled at the silver haired man. He could tell he was torn. He knew the man was attracted to the younger Hitachi twin however seeing him struggle against whether it was right or not made him think there was more to it than that. Barkeep didn't know if there were rules against inner squad dating but if this man was willing to leave his comfort zone for his little Tosai he'd give him a chance.
Ichigo watched the girls in amazement. Ahri and Akali may not have been performing but he had a feeling they were just as amazing as the rest of them. Seeing how easily they fell into step and how perfectly their voices blended together the carrot top knew this wasn't just a hobby. These girls had worked hard to be what they were today.
Renji knew he was staring and probably drooling but he couldn't help it, Tsubasa was just so hot! Part of him wanted to hunt down the bastards responsible for putting her in the brothel but he knew that Tama had already killed them all. The tattooed man had to admit that as much as Zaraki's woman terrified him he was grateful she had found and rescued Ritsu and her little friend.
Watching the man who had asked about Tsubasa he was glad to see his over-all behavior towards the woman hadn't changed though he did look at Tama with eyes that told all just how grateful he was that she had saved them. That alone earned the red head Sasame's respect.
Iba sat next to his captain both watching their little friend capture the audience with her dancing and singing. Personally Iba never would have thought that the happy girl had been though such a horrible experience, she was always so happy, outgoing and playful. For her to be that way now told Iba that she held more strength than most of the men in their division. Looking at his captain he was glad to see he had relaxed and was once more enjoying the night and the show.
Tendo watched the wolf-like man closely. If it wasn't for the fact that seeing Mitsukuni on the stage had calmed him down he was certain there would have been a rampage. Noticing that the captain was not taking his eyes off her did bring the older man comfort though. His kittens had enemies and seeing just how protective he was being made the father in him relax.
The sixth division captain clenched his fists in his sleeves so no one would notice the show of emotion. Never in his life had he ever been so jealous! These men were looking at Hatori with pure lust. What he would give to drop his mask and just give into his wants! Even from his place at the table he was tortured with the sight of small drops of sweat glimmering like diamonds on her flawless skin.
The man from Zaraki smirked. If the stotic captain thought he didn't hear his knuckles pop he was wrong. Sasame figured that the man was a noble and was having trouble admitting that he was attracted to a woman from the eightieth district. Either that or he just didn't know how to go about telling her his feelings.
Toshiro watched on impressed. He believed in being honest and he had to say these women had some serious talent. It was no wonder they were famous. Still the chibi captain wished that Akira was one of the girls on stage singing. He imagined she had a beautiful voice. Then again he wasn't sure if he could handle seeing her in one of those cute outfits. Just the thought of it made him blush. Gods, he blamed Rangiku for his growing perverse nature.
Seeing the smallest of the captains studying the dance moves Barkeep couldn't help but wonder if he knew that he was spelling Kayo's name in what appeared to be frost. Man this kid must have it bad for Tama's little girl, poor kid was screwed. Normally the B.O.S. leader stayed out of the girl's love lives but not when it came to Kayo. That was her baby girl and mama bird was very protective.
Ikkaku looked over at Yumichika they both knew they were going to make a fortune off the video. They hadn't actually thought they would be as amazing as they were but hey it worked out better for them in the end. Chika-chan paled slightly at the thought of Tama finding out though. He knew she would beat them severely maybe even killing Ikkaku since she really didn't like him.
As the song came to a close, all the girls bowed while the crowd went crazy. Men were screaming declarations of love and worship, some even going so far as to ask certain members to marry them. It was at that point that the men heard a snap. Turning to look in the direction of the sound the males froze in shock. Byakuya Kuchiki had hit the table so hard a large crack had formed.
The sixth division captain was not amused. How dare that pathetic little boy think he was worthy of even dreaming about marrying his Hatori! She was far too good for him! She was strong, smart, respectful, loyal and far too beautiful for the likes of him! However before the furious captain could go kill the man the lights dimmed once more.
As soon as the music was heard the crowd went ballistic. This time Kayo was in the group and the second she was spotted the men started screaming her name. All the women were in different outfits and everyone noticed. They were smoking hot, even Barkeep was speechless.
The second Kenpachi saw Tama he knew he would never be able to be satisfied by another woman ever again. The woman's curves and curves! How the hell he managed to score such an amazing catch he would never know, just like he would never know how she managed to hide such a fine ass figure. Looking over her form he couldn't help but wonder how that little bandana didn't rip.
Shunsui drooled like a dog. Leather pants painted onto shapely legs that just seemed to go on forever and an over-sized t-shirt playing peek-a-boo with a tiny bikini top! Yup it was official Tien was going to wear that around the office everyday maybe even without the t-shirt! The very thought almost had him panting.
Upon seeing Tosai in her new outfit Ukitake made a decision. Screw setting a good example! He wanted that beautiful, outgoing spit-fire of a woman and he really couldn't bring himself to care about what anyone thought about it. He was a grown man god damn it.
Ichigo was in awe of what he was seeing. Those clothes were like what he and his friends wore, only they looked better than he ever did. The Visard remembered Tama mentioning she had retained her memories after her death but that would have been hundreds of years ago in the world of the living. The carrot top made a mental note to ask her about it later. Or maybe he would just ask Ahri and Akali since Tama slightly terrified him.
Abarai Renji was holding a napkin to his nose that hadn't stopped bleeding since he caught sight of the women on stage. Of course he had to torture himself by imagining Tsubasa in one of those outfits which just made the blood rush more. The tattooed man still couldn't get over Kenpachi's fiancé though. The young woman was gorgeous and from what they all heard; tough as nails. Why she chose Zaraki was beyond him but he could tell by her tone that she really did love him. Rukia still spoke that way about Ichigo and they were married with kids.
Iba watched the girl that was even smaller than Sakura. He figured she was the girl Toshiro had been talking about. The lieutenant smirked she was like a girl version of the chibi captain. Still she was easily keeping up with the others and the crowd went crazy whenever she sang. Iba felt a pang of pity for his fellow captain. Hitsugaya was going to really have to work hard to get that one what with all his competition.
The large wolf-like captain stared at the side of the stage where Mitsukuni had left. The thought of not knowing where she was and that there were many males in the bar interested in her made the large captain edgy. Sajin wasn't used to feeling this feeling and frankly the wolf didn't like it. He much preferred the relaxed contentment he had felt when his little friend was on his shoulder.
Byakuya literally had to down his drink due to his mouth going bone dry at the sight of Hatori. The woman was doing this on purpose he was sure of it. She had to know what she was doing to him! Already the man had broken a table because he lost control of his temper, something he hadn't done since he was a young boy. Now he was going to have to threaten all of these men in front of his fellow captains just to ensure the drunken fools recognized Mio was his.
Toshiro was pretty sure his face had never been redder than it was at that moment. The mixture of sake, attraction and anger made for an interesting color combination. Akira was stunning and he had been right about her voice; it was beautiful. However the other men were really pissing him off! The small captain knew Akira was popular simply because she was an amazing, beautiful, talented, strong and honest woman but he didn't know she was this popular!
Both Ikkaku and Yumichika swallowed thickly. If it got out that they recorded this they were dead. Stealing a glance at the sixth captain they cringed. If they offered him a copy they would either be exposed to the girls or end up like the table. Either way this was going to hurt. Still they could always use it to bribe their captain the next time he wanted to spar.
Just as the guys were about to snap and kill the men in the bar the song came to an end, fireworks lighting the bar and filling it with multiple colors. The crowd was going crazy as the girls gave their final bows before exiting the stage. Instantly the men perked up at the thought of having their women sitting with them again. Watching the girl's approach Barkeep let out a soft chuckle as Mitsukuni launched herself onto her captain's shoulder. It would seem she liked her new spot.

As soon as she saw her captain Mitsukuni placed herself on his shoulder instantly feeling him relax. Placing a hand on his ear she gently rubbed it smiling when he relaxed further. Iba sent her a grin and a thumbs up that resulted in the fox-like girl to beam like she was just given a hero's medal.
"So Barkeep, still think I'm dull?" Tama asked in a smug tone. She knew they had nailed it but she wanted him to admit it. Tama wanted him to lose. Moving over to her seat she slowly removed her vest silently enjoying the way Zaraki's eyes drank in her form.
"Well Tama I can defiantly say you are not dull. I don't think I've ever seen you girls put so much emotion into your performance before. So tell me, what changed?" Tendo said while raising his eyebrows in a suggestive manner. He almost yelped when Kayo punched him in the arm.
"Knock it off Barkeep, we just haven't sang in a while and it felt great to be back on stage, nothing more, nothing less." The silver haired beauty growled reminding the man as to why he never pissed her off.
"Yeah old man, don't ruin a good night out by reading more into it then there is. Besides I want to drink some more and I can't do that and hold Tama back from killing you." Tien stated before dropping onto her captain's lap and ordering everyone more drinks. Shunsui didn't know what to do so he simply draped an arm around her waist marveling at how natural it felt.
"Tien how can you say that to my face and then sit on your captain's lap like it's nothing?! If anything it just proves that something was behind the more than amazing show!" Barkeep exclaimed throwing his hands in the air dramatically.
"Or it simply proves that I'm attracted to my captain and fully plan on seducing him and having my wicked yet fun way with him." Tien drawled causing the girls to smirk, Tien to laugh and Tosai to slap her forehead. Sasame simply sat there looking like a fish out of water.
Kyoraku blushed at the woman's words. All the other men were looking at him with different levels of amusement in their eyes, Shunsui though was unsure as to how he should react. If Tien was serious then he would quite happily comply but what if she was just teasing her dad? Taisho's voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Just so you know she's serious. Tien doesn't play with guys unless she plans to keep them for a while. So I only have one piece of advice; buckle up because you're in for the ride of your life." The black haired leader stated teasingly. However there was a look in her eyes that scared him.
"Me?! What about Kayo? She's just as bad if not worse for playing with her prey!" The older twin declared shocking the captains, most of all Toshiro. However what happened next only served to shock them more.
"Please I'm hardly worse than you. Besides those guys were all targets anyways so it's not like it even mattered. You're the one who insists on dating the womanizers only to freak out and go on a rampage when they cheat on you. I only dated those guys to kill them." Kayo's tone was cold and condescending. Her eyes held mirth and a slight glint of something else the men couldn't recognize.
"Oh yeah then what about Hibiri?! Was he a target, no he wasn't!" Tien yelled slamming her hands down on the table and getting off Shunsui's lap with a snarl. If it was one thing she hated it was being reminded of guys cheating on her. However before she could say another word she was punched in the face by Akira.
"Don't you dare bring him into this!" The silver haired girl bit out. Her eyes blazed in fury and the men didn't know what to do. They were all startled when Tama stood and went over to Tien's fallen form. Looking down she simply glared her next words causing everyone to stare.
"You deserved that one kid. After all this time you should know better than to piss of people who are stronger than you. I know Kayo started it but bringing Hibiri into it was low. I am going to make this very clear, you are to never use him against her ever again." There was something in her tone that caused the twin to flinch. Looking at Kayo Tien wanted to kick herself. The small girl was shaking she was so upset, her eyes still lightly clouded with rage.
"I'm sorry Kayo. My temper got the better of me but that's still no excuse to bring him into it. You can hit me again if yeah want, I totally deserve it." Before another word left her lips Akari's fist was in her face once more making Tama burst out laughing.
Then just like that the spell was broken. All the girls laughed and Kayo hugged Tien. The men didn't know what was going on. One second they were teasing each other, then they were at each other's throat and now they were hugging and laughing like nothing happened. Looking at one another they all chose to ignore what just took place in fear of starting another fight.
"If you two are done your daily brawl I would like to order something to eat and considering that bottomless pit Hitachi calls a stomach I'm guessing she'll want to be fed as well." Mio drawled out sounding bored. The red head was used to putting up with the two trying to kill each other but that didn't mean it annoyed her any less.
All the girl's laughed when the older twin's eyes lit up at the mentioning of food. Honestly was there ever a time when she wasn't hungry? Of course the thought of food made Tama realize she hadn't really eaten yet and just how hungry she was. Her stomach made itself known with a loud growl making all the girls freeze. The men watched as they all paled, not knowing what was going on.
Frantically the girls looked for a waiter while Mitsukuni scanned the room from Sajin's shoulder. They had to find someone to give their order to and fast. Having enough of not finding anyone Mio stood up and ran into the kitchen. A slight commotion was heard before the woman walked out holding a tray full of skewers. Lightly she set it down in front of their leader.
At the sight of the food a strange look made its way into Tama's visible eye. Then just like that all the skewers were clean leaving nothing but bare sticks on the tray. The men hadn't even seen her move! Barkeep laughed figuring out what had happened while the girls patted Mio on the back breathing out sighs of relief.
"Someone mind telling me what that was all about? I mean I get it, Tama was hungry but why were you all freaked out?" Ikkaku asked having another drink of sake. These girls were weird. Just then a waiter stopped by with more alcohol and they placed their orders. Once he walked away Tama turned to look at the bald man.
"Not that it's any of your business baldy but when I get hungry I don't really act like myself. I don't remember what happens but last time I woke up in some village in the middle of fucking nowhere, naked and covered in blood with someone's finger clenched in one hand and a bottle of booze in the other." Tama stated in a dull tone. The men just stared at her with open mouths and wide eyes.
"It's true it took us five days to catch up to her. Then again Ma-chan did leave a very distinct trail of destruction for us to follow." Kayo said while patting the woman's shoulder. Tama smiled softly at her instantly shocking Ikkaku and Yumichika. They had never seen such a soft look on the hard woman's face.
"Whoa what's this Ma-chan shit? I thought you hated being called anything but your name?!" Ikkaku demanded while pointing an accusing finger at her. The members of B.O.S. looked at him like he was crazy while Yumichika slapped his forehead.
"First off get that finger out of my face before I rip it off and second I usually do hate being called anything but my name however there are a few people in my life who I've made the exception for, my daughter being one of them." Tama all but growled. The last statement resulted in a mixture of reactions.
Ikkaku choked on his drink, Yumichika squealed at the fact that Tama was a mother, Toshiro almost fainted, Byakuya looked like someone kicked his shin, Shunsui simply smiled, Jushiro stated how cute he thought it was, Ichigo, Renji an Iba were looking back and forth trying to figure out how they were related, Sajin simply nodded not really seeing what the big deal was while Kenpachi looked completely calm.
Toshiro couldn't believe his little Kayo was related to Zaraki's fiancé. Then again she did just try to kill Hitachi. Still she was so sweet and polite maybe she got it from her father? Looking between the two he noticed that although they looked completely different they had the same facial expressions. It almost made him laugh.
Kenpachi smiled at the idiot's realizing they hadn't figured it out yet. He knew his woman had adopted the girl just like he had done with Yachiru, probably when she was a baby. A thought made his wolfish grin widen, if their adopted children were this strong then how powerful would their biological kids be? The large captain was forced out his thoughts of a pregnant Tama by Ikkaku's voice.
"What the hell? You're telling me that shrimp is your kid?! There has to be something you're not telling us because there is just no way I can see you playing mommy." The bald man yelled in disbelief. He would have continued if it wasn't for the two blades pressed against his throat.
"What did you just call me you hairless bastard?!" The silver haired girl asked in a low deadly voice. It sent shivers down her captains back and he wasn't sure if it was from fear or desire.
"Yeah hairless bastard, what did you just call my Kayo?" Tama's voice was just as dangerous as her daughters and Kenpachi knew he was about to lose his third seat. Thinking fast the man stood up, reached out and grabbed both of the girls. He held Kayo by the back of her shirt and his woman by the waist since he didn't dare risk her bandana ripping in front of other men.
For a moment it was silent, both women trying to register what just happened. The second they did though Kayo started thrashing wildly. The leader however just sighed knowing he wouldn't let her go unless she was good. She heard him grunt as Kayo elbowed him in the stomach making his grip loosen enough for her to twist and hit his shoulder making the limb go limp.
Quicker than they could see the small silverette was behind her captain all but hissing at her mother-figures fiancé. Tama simply looked at Ikkaku promising a very slow and painful death. Said man eeped before using Chika-chan as a shield then out of nowhere deep laughter filled the air.
"I can't believe my eyes. Never in all my years of knowing you Tama have I ever seen you just let somebody deny you blood. The fact that you're not even struggling is even more amazing." The man got out between bursts of laughter. Seeing her blank expression Barkeep quieted.
"Of course I'm not going to struggle. There's no point when he can just pull rank over me. It's just easier to accept the fact that I can't kill Ikkaku tonight and let it go than waste my energy trying to escape." Tama said wiggling slightly to try and get more comfortable. Feeling the movement Kenpachi sat back down and placed her on his lap.
"Wait what do you mean you can't kill me tonight? News flash woman you can't kill me ever! There's no way the captain would allow it." Ikkaku stated boldly. However the smirk the woman gave him caused the bald man to pale.
"Sorry to be the one to tell yeah this hairless but big bad Zaraki won't be there to save your weak ass all the time. Trust me when I say that at your weakest hour when you're at your lowest and no one is around, that is when I will strike. You will not see me, you will not hear me, you will only feel my blade end your pathetic life." It was clear to everyone present that the petite woman meant every word which is why none were surprised when the man stood and fled.
"Tama that was mean. The poor man is probably curled up in a ball hyperventilating somewhere." Ahri stated with disapproval clear in her voice. She knew her leader didn't like the man but she didn't have to traumatize him damn it!
"Yeah well mean or not it didn't make watching him run away any less amusing now did it." Tien stated her voice filled with laughter. Shunsui chuckled beneath her in agreement.
"See, captain Raku thought it was funny!" She huffed not liking the look the other twin was giving her. Annoyed at Tien's comment the older sister leveled Tama with a look. She knew she got to the tough woman when she huffed and crossed her arms.
"Fine I won't kill him! I can't promise I won't severely mangle him but I won't kill him. I'm not saying sorry though!" Tama declared her voice dripping with annoyance.
"Look at it this way Tama-hime if you kill him you'd have no one to beat senselessly anymore, so maybe it's better this way!" The bubbly blonde said happily while pouring her captain another drink. The other girls nodded in agreement except for Mitsukuni who was falling asleep on her captain's shoulder. Seeing this Tama decided that it was time to call it a night.
Paying the bills everyone got ready to return to their divisions. Gently taking Sakura off his shoulder he held her protectively in his arms. No one expected the girls to go over to the exhausted fox-like girl and give her hugs and kisses while wishing her sweet dreams though, yet they did. It was at that moment that they really saw just how much they really loved each other.

Walking back to their division Iba smiled watching his captain cradle the sleeping girl. The second they left the bar and all the noise was gone Mitsu had crashed right out. Now she was curled up against Sajin's chest with a little smile on her face. Iba had never seen something so cute. Sakura was small to start with but in contrast with the wolf-like man she looked like a little doll.
"She sure is something isn't she captain? I mean I never knew she could sing like that! I wonder what else we'll find out about our little fox?" Iba spoke quietly.
"Whatever it is I hope it will be about how her life was better after Miss Tama saved her. To think she went though such a horrible thing but can still smile and be so accepting. She truly is special. Why did you call her little fox?" Sajin's voice was low and soft so as not to wake their little friend.
"Well that's what she reminds me of. Her hair and those amber eyes plus she's so small that I see a fox every time I look at her." Iba explained. Sajin thought about his lieutenant's words and realized she really was similar to the cunning creature.
"Our little fox." It was quiet but Iba heard him and he couldn't help but wonder when "our" would become "my".

Tsubasa giggled as she supported a drunk Abarai down the streets. Apparently he hadn't felt all the liquor she had given him until he went to stand, which he was struggling to do. Taking pity on the man because it really was her fault she scooped him up into her arms before continuing on her way. The man yelped and went to protest when she locked her eyes with his.
"I'm sorry captain. I forgot that most men here can't drink as much as the guys back in Zaraki. I should have cut you off instead of giving you more." The blondes voice was honest and sincere making the tattooed man feel bad. He didn't want Ritsu to blame herself because he got drunk.
"Not your fault. I should be able to say no. I shouldn't have drunk so much but sometimes it's ok. I had fun tonight." He hoped that made sense. He wasn't even sure if he was actually talking.
"Well I'm glad you had fun. Sorry about my family fighting like that. They really are good people. Sometimes they just forget we aren't in Zaraki anymore." Tsubasa said gently. She missed her home but at the same time she knew she would miss Renji more. He had been so nice to her so far and she hoped that their friendship would continue to grow stronger.
"Don't worry about it sister's are supposed to fight sometimes. It's healthy just be glad you don't have brothers because then they'd never stop fighting." Renji stated with a drunken chuckle. His prize was a light giggle as they continued back to their barracks.

Ichigo smiled as he walked his two subordinates back to their barracks. Since he was married to Rukia they lived at the Kuchiki manor. As he walked he couldn't help but notice they were whistling back and forth to each other. Curious he listened closer only to find it was a song.
"What are you two whistling over there, it's beautiful." The carrot toped captain asked happily. He almost laughed when they jumped in sync and turned to look at him. He couldn't help but wonder if they knew they did that.
"It's a lullaby we heard when we were children. We don't remember where we heard it but it's a tune we've never forgotten." Akali explained while her sister nodded beside her.
"So how did you two come to be with Tama?" Ichigo asked curiously. These girls were like a puzzle and personally he always loved puzzles.
"We wandered into a village one day, starving and alone. Everyone avoided us because they knew we were Hollow pray. Then a beautiful woman came over to us and told us we could live with her. She said she would teach us how to be strong because she wouldn't let the weak stay by her side. If we wanted to live we'd have to fight for it. That woman was Tama." Ahri said softly. There was a deep respect in her voice and Ichigo knew that these girls wouldn't have lived if it wasn't for Taisho.
"You know that Tama puts up a cold and tough front but from what I've heard and seen she truly is a mother and sister. She's not heartless like she wants everyone to believe is she?" He hoped he hadn't offended them but judging by their smiles he had said something right.
"You have a good judge of character you know that captain. Not many can see past Tama's walls but you did with little to no effort." Akali said kindly.
"I'm glad to know that not everyone judges a book by its cover here, I'm proud to call you my captain. Now why don't you head home we can walk from here." Ahri suggested gently. She knew his wife was pregnant from the rumors around the division so she figured he'd want to be with his wife.
"Alright, I'll see you ladies tomorrow then, and thanks for the amazing show, you may not have sang but I know it couldn't have been done without you." With that the orange haired man flash stepped home leaving to beaming recruits in his wake.

Tosai hummed as she walked next to her captain watching him from the corner of her mismatched eyes. The younger twin had noticed the change in Mitsukuni's captain and figured that Barkeep had told them a little about their past. Taking a deep breath she steeled herself.
"Captain just how much did Barkeep tell you about us? I know he said something because of the change in captain Komamura." Her voice seemed loud in the late and quiet night. She watched as her captain sighed before looking at her with sadness.
" He told us about Sakura-chan and Ritsu-chan's past because captain Abarai asked. He mentioned how Hatori-chan already had her blade when Tama-san found her and that it was Tama-san who trained you all. I wanted to ask about you but at the same time I wanted to hear it from you when you're ready." Jushiro was nervous. He really didn't want her to think he was snooping or anything.
"Well Tien and I were always alone, no one wanted us because Hollows followed us everywhere. We lived with only each other for years almost dying from attacks and starvation. When Tama found us a group of villagers had been getting ready to chase us out of town. She stepped forward and gave us her bowl of stew ordering us to eat. After we were fed, bathed and had fresh new clothes she gave us a choice." Turning to look at the white haired man she smiled.
"She said we could go with her and the others and train or we could stay there and die. She said whether we live or die is up to us. If we want to live we had to get strong because the weak will always die first. Tama gave us a reason to get stronger, a reason to live." The respect and gratitude in her voice shook Jushiro to the core. Zaraki's fiancé hadn't just taught them how to use a blade, she taught them how to value their lives.
"Did she treat everyone like that when she found them?" The captain couldn't help but ask. Her tale was enrapturing. The soft smile she sent him made him return the action.
"Pretty much although she found us all in different circumstances the offer was always the same. I think Kayo is the only one who Tama simply raised. There is no deal, no debt and no near death experiences, they simply are what they are." The young woman said with a shrug. Seeing the man's confused face she elaborated.
"Kayo was the first of us to be found by Tama. She was just a baby when she had been abandoned, Tama found her and raised her as her own. Since she was with her since before she could walk Kayo never knew anything but our lifestyle. Every day was training and killing that's what she grew up doing. She is also the only one who really knows what Tama's thinking half the time. Their bond is unlike anything I've ever seen." There was awe in her voice and he couldn't help but wonder just what the small girl was capable of.
"I see, do you find it hard to adjust. I mean you went from a lawless district to the center of all the laws in soul society. Do you ever feel overwhelmed?" Ukitake hadn't even realized he was almost brushing against her side from moving so closed during her story but he sure as hell was now.
"Well it was at first I mean we were the most feared group in Zaraki but it's gotten easier. It helps if we spar a lot to take the edge off and there are moments we just want to kill whoever is annoying us but I think the only one still having trouble but she was also in Zaraki the longest." Tosai explained hoping she didn't make them all sound crazy.
"Well if you ever want to spar or just talk I'm here for you. I think Taisho will be fine now that she's in the eleventh division so I wouldn't worry." The gentle captain soothed.
"Yeah you're right, thanks captain." With that the two continued on their way looking like a true couple.

"Man it still hurts! Little brat had a powerful punch!" Tien mumbled gently rubbing her cheek. Suddenly an arm was around her shoulder as Kyoraku pulled her close.
"I could kiss it better if you want Tien-chan. I'll even do it for free." The smirk on the captain's face was downright devilish. The older twin pretended to think it over before smirking and nodding her approval.
Not wasting anytime Shunsui kissed her cheeks, her nose,, her forehead and ears before making his way to her lips. The kiss was just as powerful as their first but no less exhilarating. Before either noticed it became a full blown make-out session. Kyoraku gently pushed her up against the wall causing her to wrap her legs around his waist before he started attacking her neck like a man starved.
"For the record you will be wearing this to work tomorrow without the t-shirt, captain's orders." The man got out between kisses and bite while tugging at her clothes. Tien simply moaned before pulling his lips to hers once more. At some point the woman managed to pull his hair free and was now raking her fingers through it.
Not wanting to wait any longer the captain pulled her loser and flash stepped to his division only to slam on the brakes as his lieutenant stood there arms crossed foot tapping. Tien only smirked in a "we are so busted" kind of way.
"Captain Kyoraku put your assistant down right now! Hitachi I want you to go to your room and go to bed, you have work in the morning." Nodding with a yes ma'am Tien was gone, more than a little pissed.
"As for you captain, what are you thinking? She is your subordinate not your girlfriend! You have a captain's meeting in the morning so you better get your ass in bed right now!" Nanao exclaimed furious. Grumbling under his breath about her being a cock-block he started for his room pausing once he was beside her.
"So you're saying it wouldn't be a problem if she was my girlfriend? Alright then I'll get right on that." With that the man flash stepped out of sight leaving behind a less than happy lieutenant.

The silence was killing her! Normally Mio welcomed it, basked in it even but right now all she wanted was for her stotic, silent captain to say something, anything! Just as she was about to snap he spoke.
"Where did you learn to sing?" His tone betrayed no emotion and the red head wondered what made him ask that of all things. Still she was grateful for the conversation so she answered anyway.
"My grandmother taught me. She used to sing all the time and once I was old enough she taught me as well. I remember sitting in the family gardens just singing and dancing with all my heart. Of course that was before the attack. After everyone was killed I used my voice as a weapon to draw out Hollows and rouges. By the time Tama found me I was a completely different person." Mio's voice was even and didn't reveal the sadness she felt at remembering her home but her eyes did.
"It must have been painful to lose your family all at once. I'm sorry to bring up such memories." The Kuchiki leader said honestly. He hadn't meant to upset her even if she acted like she was fine. He just couldn't take the silence any longer.
"It's alright, I know my family would want me to forgive myself and be happy because I know they loved me. It hurts to think about it sometimes because you ask yourself what you could have done or why you didn't train harder but at the same time I was never meant to be a fighter, I was meant to be a singer and then a wife." Mio stated gently. In all honesty she was silently happy she wouldn't have an arranged marriage even if she never got to know the man's name. She doubted they would have gotten along.
"So even though you blame yourself you don't let it interfere with your life? You don't think they'd be angry that you've found happiness even though they're gone?" Byakuya asked softly. He still felt like Hisana would never forgive him if he let someone in much less re-married.
"Of course not, I know they would have wanted me to be happy. My family loved me even if we didn't always get along. I know they would be angrier if I wallowed in self pity and guilt than if I let myself move on. My father once told me that our hearts are like birds and that if we blame ourselves for things we couldn't change we become caged. We are meant to be free so I chose to let go and break open my cage." There was something in her voice that made Byakuya stop. He had heard that saying before in an almost identical tone.
Thinking back he remembered an elderly woman coming over to the house. She demanded respect by simply being there but nothing about her seemed cruel or mean. In fact they had gotten along quite well. She looked just like Hatori! Quickly looking at her he remembered being told he would marry the woman's grand-daughter, the sole heir to a very powerful family that chose to reside in Zaraki so their fighting technique could be used to protect the people.
"Hatori did your family believe in arranged marriage?" There was something in his tone that set off warning bells in her head but deciding he would find out who she was sooner or later the woman answered honestly.
"Yes, my family was a noble one but we lived in Zaraki to protect the people. I remember my grandmother saying she had found me the perfect husband and that he was from a powerful and highly respected family but then the attack happened and I never found out his name. Frankly I didn't care because all I wanted at that point was revenge, although I do often wonder who he was. I just hope he was able to marry for love in the end." Hatori's voice was clear and part of Byakuya wanted to shake her while another part was grateful she had wished him happiness.
He remembered the day that his family found out that his fiancé and her family had been destroyed. Even though he acted indifferent in front of his family he had mourned for her when he was alone. Now here he was walking next to the woman who may have been his wife if things had gone differently. They may have even had a family by now.
"Captain are you alright? You kind of zoned out and got all pale. Maybe you should go to the fourth division tomorrow and get a checkup we don't want you getting sick now." She had moved closer in case he lost his balance but the end result was his face suddenly flushing.
This was supposed to be his wife?! Who had a wife this gorgeous in the noble houses? Oh yeah no one! It must be because she's from Zaraki, something had to be in the water or something because all of her friends were beautiful too. Still looking down and seeing that outfit was all it took for his mind to overload and his vision to fade. Startled Mio quickly caught the man and instantly started for the fourth division preying he would be ok.

Toshiro was never more grateful for Matsumoto then right now. Due to Kayo's fear of being crushed by the busty woman she was all but clinging to him and he loved every second of it. Hearing Rangiku huff about how just walking was no fun he watched as she turned and headed off to another bar.
"How can she drink that much and still want more? Doesn't she realize she had to go with you to the captain's meeting first thing tomorrow morning?" The complete and utter disbelief in her voice made the small captain chuckle. He seriously doubted his lieutenant remembered anything at the moment.
"Matsumoto isn't a normal soul, I'm pretty sure she runs on sake. I wouldn't worry about it though, I'll just wake her up and drag her there in the morning. Now that she's gone though I wanted to ask you something. I completely understand if you don't want to answer but I want to know who Hibiri was." Toshiro felt her stiffen and instantly felt bad for prying but he was positive he had fallen for her and hard.
"I'll tell you about Hibiri if you tell me why you were writing my name in frost." Kayo stated not releasing the arm she was holding and looking around half expecting to get jumped by Rangiku. This time it was his turn to stiffen, he hadn't thought she had seen that.
"Well I won't lie I wasn't even aware I was doing it at first. I was just so caught up in the performance and then you came on and everyone went crazy! I swear I have never been more jealous in my life and before I knew it your name was all over my part of the table." Toshiro didn't realize what he said until it was too late. Looking over at the girl on his arm he blushed bright red when he saw those big violet eyes looking up at him in shock.
"You were jealous, why? I mean I'm nothing special. I'm not tall or curvy like the others, I mean I know I'll grow eventually but still." Kayo would have continued ranting on if her captain hadn't cut her off.
"What are you talking about Akira? You're amazing! You're strong, loyal, sweet and incredibly beautiful! Why do you think every guy in the bar went crazy for you?" Toshiro couldn't believe what he was hearing! He knew what it felt like to be trapped in a child's body but he never thought it would cause her such low self esteem.
"You think I'm beautiful?" Her voice was a whisper but he still heard the question.
"Of course I do, do you think I would have a crush on you if I didn't?" Once again he said something he hadn't meant to, at least not yet, but it wasn't like he could take it back now. God the chibi captain couldn't remember blushing so much.
"You have a crush on e?! But I thought you were with Rangiku, I mean she's always touching and teasing you like you're a couple." Akira didn't know what to do, she was so happy but at the same time the last time she fell in love she got hurt.
"No, Rangiku and I are just really close friends. You could even say we're best friends but we will never be more than that. So now you know why I was writing your name, that I got jealous during the show, and that I care for you so I'm going to stop talking now." Hitsugaya was certain his face was going to be red for a week. However instead of letting him pull away the silver haired girl tightened her grip.
"His name was Mamoru Hibiri. We met shortly after saving Tsubasa and Mitsu. At first I didn't trust him, we never knew who was an enemy but no matter what I did he just kept showing up. Eventually I started to open up to him and fell in love. He got along well with the others and I thought we would be together forever. But I was wrong, shortly after a big hunt Hibiri betrayed me." She paused when frost started to creep up the walls.
"We had gone for a walk so we were alone. Thinking back on it even now I don't see anything different in his behavior. He was just his usual affectionate self but then he drew his blade and attacked me. I barely managed to dodge I was in such a state of shock but the assault just kept coming. I knew if I didn't do something I'd die so I drew my blade. That was the first time I couldn't bring myself to attack something." They had stopped walking and were leaning against the wall.
"Tama sensed that something was wrong and came to help. Call it her motherly instinct if you will. She thought we were being attacked by a Hollow so she wasn't prepared to see me being pushed back by Hibiri. Of course Tama forced him back and used Kogitsune to interrogate him. Turns out his father had been the owner of the brothel we rescued Tsubasa and Mitsu from. He had planned to kill me to get back at Tama. It was at that point that I killed him. Everything had been a lie, but even now it's still a sore spot for me." Kayo was scared that Toshiro would shun her and think she was a monster but he did the exact opposite, he hugged her.
"I'm sorry Kayo. If I had known it was that bad I wouldn't have asked. I didn't mean to make you remember such a horrible thing." Hitsugaya felt horrible. His precious Akira had been used and hurt to get to her mother. He vowed right then and there that he would never let her get used like that again. Feeling her relax in his hold the two silver haired Shinigami simply stood there both wishing time would freeze.

Kenpachi smirked as he watched Tama walk ahead of him, his eyes settling on her tight little ass. God he loved to watch her walk. Yumichika was beside him humming the tune of one of the songs the girls had sung while carrying Tama's vest. Tama herself was completely of Kenpachi's gaze and it was giving her an idea. Deciding to see how far she could push him she stopped walking and turned to face the two men.
"My legs hurt from dancing so can I have a piggyback ride to the division Zaraki?" Instantly Yumichika knew what was going on and decided to help the fourth seat out.
"Plus you did tackle her in the baths earlier too. I imagine your back must hurt a lot." The beauty obsessed fifth seat piped in.
"Actually he managed to hit me between the shoulders so their pretty tender." Tama stated while looking at her fiancé. Knowing he was to blame for the shoulder bit the large captain sighed before moving over to her and kneeling so she could get on his back. Instantly Kenpachi was aware that her breasts were flush against his back, her little hands fisted in his captain's haori and that her legs were so tired that he'd have to keep his hands on her ass so she wouldn't slip.
"Ah much better, thanks Zaraki." Tama whispered into his ear feeling him tense. She almost laughed but knew he would make her walk if she did and she really was sore from everything that had happened that day.
"Yeah no problem. I did fall on you after all." This time she did laugh, the gentle sound startling the men.
"I'm sure it won't be the last you dead weight me. I mean were are going to be married one day." She knew they'd catch her drift. Instantly Kenpachi gave a wolfish grin and held her a little tighter while Yumichika started thinking of wedding plans. Knowing those two like he did they wouldn't plan for anything more than the vows.
"Well you've got a point but next time there won't be bits and pieces of wall mixed in. what were you doing in there anyway, we all heard a shout about something." The captain asked shifting her weight a little. All it did was make her chest rub against his back more.
"Washing my hair, it's so long that it takes me a bit to make sure it's clean. The girls always tease me saying I look like someone poured black ink on me when I'm bathing because it sticks to my skin." Once more she felt Zaraki's muscles jump. The predatory smirk she wore made Yumichika almost pity his captain.
"Speaking of us, I hope you know you're not getting any until you get rid of that woman. I refuse to sleep with someone else's man." Tama bit out. Kenpachi immediately paled at the thought of not being able to touch his woman. It was taking all of his self-control not to take her right there like hell he was going to wait any longer than necessary.
"Saya will be at the division tomorrow afternoon, I'll do it then." There was a determination in his voice that surprised both the seated officers. Looking at each other they smirked. They were so going to get front row seats to that show.
"Well that's good what with me being next door and everything. Oh I should warn you if you hear a scream ignore it. Sometimes I have nightmares and wake up terrified. Might want to warn the guys about that too." Tama stated somewhat shyly. She hated showing weakness but she had no control over her dreams.
"I'll make sure they know, wouldn't want them to think we're under attack or something now would we?" Yumichika said softly, he knew admitting to having nightmares was hard for her. She was so strong that to admit you don't have control over something can be the most difficult thing to do.
"Look you have a nightmare and I'll wake you up. I'm a light sleeper thanks to Yachiru. I'm sure I'll hear you before you scream so don't worry about it." Even though she didn't say anything he felt her relax more. Then he heard her chuckle.
"So you got trained to wake up at the slightest whimper too huh? I remember Kayo would always cry if she didn't sleep on my stomach, no matter how close I was if she wasn't on my tummy she wasn't sleeping." There was a lightness to her tone that made the men smile. It was clear she loved being a mother.
"Yachiru was all about my chest or the crook of my arm. I swear she would wiggle right in there and the second I moved or put her down she'd start crying." Kenpachi explained. Yumichika wondered if they realized they were bonding over their children and couldn't help but laugh.
"Well since we're here I'm going to bed, need my beauty sleep and all. I'll see you two tomorrow." With that the handsome man walked off to his room.
"I wanted to thank you for carrying me Zaraki and for agreeing to end things with that woman. It really does mean a lot to mean even if I don't show it." Tama's voice was soft. She wasn't good at this kind of thing anymore. Her captain continued walking to their rooms trying to figure out a way to let her know just how he felt. Finally he decided to just say what he had thought in his head,
"You don't have to thank me Tama, I like being able to do things for yeah even if it's just giving you a piggyback ride and of course I'm going to end things with Saya, she's not worth losing you over. Besides I plan on being a one woman man from now on. I'm sorry I forgot and that you had to wait for me Tama I really am." Never in his life had he been more honest and sincere. Stopping at her door he gently lowered her to the floor. Just as she was about to walk through the door she stopped.
"Thank you Kenpachi, have a good night." With that she pulled him down by his shirt and kissed him.

So I have finally finished this chapter. I am so sorry for the serious lack of updates but a lot of personal things have been going on and on top of that I've had writers block for almost a year. For those who are still reading this I would just like to say thank you for your loyalty and dedication. I hope to make updates much more regular but I can't promise anything. I just got laid off work so I'll have to go job hunting. On a much happier note, my boyfriend of two years and best friend since the third grade asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes! So there's so happy news.
Now in this chapter we find out a bit about our girls and their history. Each story line will play a critical part in the overall story and for those who were asking Shippo and the others aren't with Tama now because they are trapped. Who has them, you'll have to keep reading to find out but he is very strong and very evil!
