Title: Innocent Ideas

Author: Nesma

Disclaimer: I, obviously, do not own Harry Potter or the characters, all that goes to JKRowling.

Summary: It's hard to predict the results of words and actions at such a young age. It's difficult to fathom that an idea formed without much logic or reasons at a young age will carry on through to adulthood. It's terrifying and exhilarating that the ideas and stories from childhood have such curious results in adulthood. And this could be no truer than with the case of Lily and Petunia Evans and Severus Snape.

A/N: Will have more time to write. Later this week. After finals. Gah.

Remus Lupin was quite excited for this day. While his mother fretted and darted in and out of the kitchen, his father just looked nervous.

There was no threat of the full moon and he was going to Peter Pettigrew's house for the weekend. His father was going to apperate him there and he'll be staying for the Pettigrew's for three whole days and two whole nights.

For normal boys, this was just a simple sleepover. But this was Remus' first sleep over ever and he could not be more excited. He had packed his clothes and some board games and exploding snap and a book to read if he woke up earlier than Peter. His mother had baked him cake to bring over and she kept getting that teary-eyed smile (apparently, this was a first that she never thought he'd have either).

Normally, Remus would only have his parents for companions, but now he had friends and it filled him with utter joy at that thought (he tried to focus on that and not the fear that tore him apart at night).
