I rewrote this chapter in specific because if I wanted to do what I had planned, then I would surely need this (rather sloppily done) chapter to match with the future.
"My lady," There were no time for formalities but I ought to be courteous anyway.
She gave my a smile that seemed to know everything, nevertheless she asked me what was on my mind.
"I had a dream," I began. "That I saw the future, a world in which every dies a bloody mess. I saw the past, where my mother seemed to launch off and out of reality. And… then I saw the present. It was Saruman, my lady." That seemed to grab her attention the most. "He just stood there, like a picture more than a dream, but he had a ring on his finger, and that linked to one thing: There is a spy in the Fellowship."
"Do you know who?" She asked me.
"No," I replied, lying of course. I did have an idea, perhaps in some way, as Saruman uses the others, he uses me without my knowing, maybe I am a spy without my consent. It couldn't be Teres, she was a love drunk Mary Sue and admittedly my friend.
"What question do you want answered?" She asked.
There was no secrets then? So be it. "I wish to travel- secretly- behind the Fellowship, not to change it, but to make sure it doesn't go off course."
"How can I deny your wish?" The Lady smiled, "After all you have come so far." He smile fell, "but be warned that you have just begun to experience the dangers of this land. Things beyond this world I cannot help, and there will come a time where such things will happen."
"You mean?" She couldn't possibly…
"Yes," she nodded grimly. "But until then I can provide you with items for your next journey." She whistled and a chestnut stallion came into view, his eyes of obsidian. He was Aleece.
"A weapon," it was a knife-sword. "And a gift." It was a bottle of dust.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I cannot tell you now," The Lady said. (Cue the) "But you will know when the time is right." (Cliche).
You know that feeling you get when you forget something but don't know what you forgot? I had that through the entire day and I only remember what now of all times.
"I must leave, my lady." I said in a panicky voice, I slid onto Aleece and we rode off.
I had forgotten a certain Gondorian that was going to die.
Boromir was going to die.
Not if I got there first. I urged the horse to ride a little faster.
I do not own the Lord of the Rings. If anyone can guess what will happen I'm going to assume you've watched Once Upon a Time but it's different. Well, with the dust. The whole Things Beyond this World will probably be what you expect.
