By the time the next Tuesday had circled around, Blaine was itching to get home, grab the maths work and five-dollar note off his dad and get to the Lima Bean. He'd resisted the urge to return there since his first meeting with Jeremiah in an attempt to not seem weird, but it felt as though enough time had passed and he couldn't wait to see him again.

Blaine was in and out the door like a shot, and before he knew it, he was standing in the queue to order his usual. Glancing round the current patrons, he couldn't spot Jeremiah's distinctive blond hair anywhere so satisfied himself with replying to Kurt's texts.

Bored without you. I think Wes is missing you more than I am though :P

On your phone during a meeting, I see ;) what's Wes doing?

He keeps saying "if only Blaine were here" and sighing... it's like you've died. How's your work going?

So-so for the moment. Think I'll be back in the Warblers soon though – tell Wes to stay strong

Haha, will do. We're discussing our Valentine's Day performance now. Open auditions are a conversation but I think everyone just wants you to come back and do it...

I'll be back for Valentine's!

You'd better. You've got 2 weeks. Week and a half if I'm feeling mean.

Blaine pocketed his phone as he neared the counter. He smiled at the girl behind it and opened his mouth to order, when –

"Hey, Blaine!"

Blaine turned and beamed at the guy behind him in the queue. "Jeremiah!"

Jeremiah smiled and pressed a note into Blaine's hand. "Could you order for me and grab us a table or whatever? I'll be two seconds."

"Sure," Blaine said, before quickly adding, "wait, what do you want?"

"Frappuccino," came the reply before Jeremiah nipped out into the darkening evening light.

"Uh... a frappuccino and a medium drip, please," Blaine said, turning his attention to the girl in front of him.

Five minutes later, Jeremiah returned and joined Blaine on the sofa he'd selected.

"What was that about?" Blaine asked curiously.

Jeremiah shrugged casually. "Sorry, nothing important. Do you have a load more work to do?"

Blaine laughed and pulled out the stack of papers. "You know, I don't think it's actually as many as last time."

Jeremiah "hmm"ed and laughed in response. "Well, let's get started, then."
