After we all ate, we went back to the Nicks' house. Axel and Xion met us there after Xion was finished with work. "So Xion, how long do you plan on working there?" I asked as Ven and Van started the Xbox up.
"Probably not long, just until I finish college." She looked at the guys fighting over the good controller, which wasn't any better than the other one, it just looked cooler and that made everyone think it was better.
"What are we going to play?" Kairi walked in with Sammi and Theo, "Anything, has pretty much every game known to man." Ven was digging through the games.
"How about Halo 4?" I smiled as I saw Ven pull it out of the cabinet. "I'm fine with that, Van?" Van looked at us and smiled, "That's my best game." We all laughed. Van grabbed his controller, me and Ven grabbed ours while we waited for Roxas to find new batteries for his.
"Are there really no batteries in this house?" We heard drawers being open and shut continuously. We really started getting impatient, so I just grabbed the charge and play cord and threw it at him, "here dumbass, just use this." Everyone looked at me, "What? he's my bro, i'm allowed to do that." They just laughed as Roxas slid on the tile floor so he was in front of the couch. We started a game of swat, which was a battle rifle and DMR with a pistol as your secondary, headshots and melee are one hit kills. Me and Van were tied for the lead and Roxas was in third. Ven, well he isn't a gamer, so he just stayed back.
"Ok guys, what's next?" I smiled and made a custom game. I called it binary slayer. Your character moves very fast and you have a sword and a binary rifle. It's a lot of fun. Ven was pretty good at this one. He was topping all of us with 107 kills. I was second with 94, Van was third with 71, and leading the bottom was Roxas, with 12. Roxas was getting frustrated so we stopped.
"Come on Roxas, calm down." He looked mad at us, "No, you know that this game is bull." I got up, "would you rather play Call of Duty?" He smiled, "Yes." I sighed and put the game in. Roxas was sitting up now and was sitting against the couch. We heard a blip in the game and it showed Demyx was online, so we all grabbed a mic and invited him to a party, we all muted each other so there wasn't an echo.
"Hey guys, mind if I play?" We all agreed he would be a good player to join us. We all started playing online, One of us was always on the other team because of team sizes. This time it was Roxas on the other team. He was grinning evilly and the game started. "Ven, watch around the stairwell, someones camping with an LSAT." I told Ven to look out. When Ven turned the corner he started shooting and ended up killing the guy. "Roxas you asshole!" Ven punched Roxas' arm and laughed. Roxas laughed and kept playing. After a few more games, we stopped playing. "We'll see you guys later, me and Xion are gonna head out." Axel waved and walked out with Xion. Kairi stood up and looked at Aqua, "let's make the boys some food." Aqua smiled and stood up, "Ok." They went into the kitchen and started making dinner, and man did it smell good.
After dinner, Aqua and Ven tried to pick out a movie for everyone. Aqua wanted a romance and Ven, of course, wanted an action movie with a lot of explosions. We finally decided on Evil Dead. It was a new scary movie that was supposed to be really, really scary. Kairi cuddled up against me and Aqua laid on Ven. Roxas just sat on the floor and watched. Van got up.
"Well, i'm gonna go to sleep, I have a lot of things to do tomorrow morning." We all said goodnight and he went up to his room. The movie started and I went to make popcorn. I heard Van talking to someone, "Yeah i know I have a few left, but I can't use them." I made the popcorn and went back to the movie. Kairi was hiding in my shoulder while Aqua covered up with a blanket, "Turn it off Sora!" Kairi was really scared so we all agreed to eat some dinner. Aqua made some steak while Roxas made some garlic bread in the oven.
"Wow guys this is amazing, Roxas this bread is amazing." Roxas just sat there smiling. "Where did you learn to cook like this little bro?" Ven patted Roxas on the back and messed up his hair. "Well when I was at school I had a lot of girls come over and I cooked for them, I mean come on it's college, no girls know how to cook." We all laughed and finished eating and I helped Roxas with the dishes.
"So Roxas, when you say you had girls stay over, what do you mean?" He smiled, "Well, I was kind of a player. Always had a girl over." I smacked the back of his head and laughed, "don't tell Ven that, he wont be happy to know his little bro goes around with every girl he can." We laughed and finished the dishes. After some small talk at the table Ven, Aqua, and Roxas went home. Me and Kairi went to our separate rooms and fell asleep.
The next morning Mr. and came home. "Hey kids, hey Kairi, where's Sora?" Kairi started tearing up, "He left about 10 minutes ago for the airport." As Kairi said that Sammi ran down and gave her a big hug, "It's OK Kairi, i'm sure he'll be back soon, just like he promised he would." She smiled and gave her mom and dad big hugs. Theo ran down and hugged them with Sammi.
I finally made it to the airport where Axel, Xion, Roxas, Ven, Van, and Aqua were waiting for me, they all had tears in their eyes. Aqua ran up to me and hugged me, "We're all really gonna miss you. You're like my little brother." I smiled and walked over to Ven. He shook my hand and smiled, "You better get back here as soon as you possibly can buddy!" I smiled and looked at Van, "Well guys, at least you'll have Van here, he's me." Van walked over and hugged me. "Hey man, just because i'm you doesn't mean you can't come visit ok?" I hugged him back, "and just because i'm you doesn't mean you can you can get with Kairi or i'll kill you." We all laughed, "no really, i'll kill you." He suddenly looked scared and let go. I looked at Roxas, "hey bro, you have to come back soon." I hugged him and grabbed my bag.
"Wait, where's Kairi?" They all looked away. Roxas looked up, "She thought it would be to hard to say goodbye." I sighed and walked into the airport. I got to my terminal, sat down and started reading the paper, which is odd because I don't even read the paper, but for some reason i read it. "hm, looks like things are going good in Halloween town and The Queen of Hearts got re-elected, god knows why, no one likes her. Oh well."
The call to start boarding my flight is announced on the intercom. I got up and grabbed my bag. I dropped my paper and leaned down to pick it up when I saw a pair of pink converse high-tops. I looked up, "Kairi!?" She latched onto me and wouldn't let go, "please don't go Sora. I love you so much I don't want to be away from you." We both stood there and hugged for I don't know how long. "Kairi, I love you too, but I have to go home." She squeezed tighter and cried.
"I know it's sad sweetie, but my parents miss me and i have to get back to my job." I let go and grabbed my bags and kissed her, "I love you Kairi and I always will." I boarded my plane and sat down. As the plane took off I watched as the Hollow Bastion National Airport became smaller and smaller. I sighed and put my headphones in and started reading a magazine. I fell asleep and dreamed of being with all my friends and most of all, Kairi.
