Friend found
"Where are we going?" Ace asked as they stepped onto the train.
"A town west of here. They have a few small demons running amok. We are going to wipe them out." She said.
As soon as the train started moving Wendy looked a little sick. She just stared out the window.
"Problem?" Ace asked.
"All dragon slayers get motion sickness after they get powerful enough. But if you have two elements that should be true for you to." She said.
"Are you really a Dragon Slayer? You should be sick to your stomach by now!" Carla said.
Ace just whistled and stared at the window.
When they finally got to their destination Ace carried Wendy over his shoulder and sat on on the train platform bench. She slowly recovered and sat up groggily.
"Sorry. Were you waiting very long?" She asked.
"Not really. So is the village?" He asked.
"Yep. Come on."
They walked into town and stopped in front of the center in front of a large building. Inside was a very fat man smoking a very strong smelling cigar. Ace and Wendy both wrinkled their noses at the scent and hurried the meeting along. The man pointed them in the direction that the demons usually came from.
"Ugh. That thing smelled terrible. I almost don't wanna go back when we finish this job." Ace complained.
"Well it's that or no food. Lets finish this quickly." She said.
The demons hideout was hardly hidden. It was built into the side of a cliff and had a skull carved into the rock.
"This is a hideout?" Ace asked.
"I wouldn't exactly call it a 'hide'out but this looks like a base." Carla said.
"So should we knock?" Ace asked pointing at the front door.
"Are you daft? Why would you knock on your enemy's front door?" Carla asked.
Ace shrugged and looked to Wendy. She was staring up at the top of the base.
"What's that?" She asked as something blue flashed by one of the windows.
Then something flew out of the window and landed in front of the team. Wendy gasped.
"Jellal?" She asked as the man stood up.
"Wendy? Ace?" He asked.
"What are you doing here?" Ace asked.
"Wait you two know each other?" Wendy asked.
"Yeah he's the one who told me to join Fairy Tail. After I beat two of his lackeys." Ace said.
"Yeah, Cobra and Racer are still angry about that." Jellal said.
"So where's that lady friend of yours?" Ace asked nudging Jellal with his elbow.
Jellal grew bright red and looked at Wendy.
"So Wendy, what are you doing here?" He asked as Ace yelled behind him.
"We took a job to clear out the demons here. But it looks like you already took care of them." She said.
"Yeah, these guys were calling themselves The New Tartaros guild. So Crime Sorcerie stepped in." Jellal said.
The rest of Jellal's guild emerged carrying the enemy guild members. And two more people followed one of which Wendy recognized.
"Erza!" She yelled running over to the Female Mage.
"Wendy?!" Erza yelled.
"Six Years Erza! That's how long since anyone has seen you!" Wendy yelled angrily.
"Uh well… I've been uh…" Erza stammered looking up at the sky.
"Mommy? Who is she?" A small voice asked from behind Erza.
Wendy looked behind her friend to see a small girl with purple hair and a sword.
"Erza?" Wendy asked as Carla stared open mouthed.
"This is my Daughter. Xena." Erza said quietly.
Carla regained her composure and flew over to Jellal. They started a quiet conversation.
"Xena this is Wendy. My friend from Fairy Tail." Erza said.
"When did you…? Really?" Wendy asked.
"Shes five. It's been a rough couple of years. I wanted Xena to at least grow up with her Father around."
"Hi. How are you?" Wendy asked holding out a hand to the girl.
"I'm good. Are you strong like mommy?" The girl asked.
"We'll maybe not like your mom but I'm strong." Wendy said.
"Angel. Midnight! You two watch Xena for a few minutes alright?" Erza yelled.
When they were alone Erza put one arm on Wendy's shoulder.
"I have a request. Would you take Xena back to Fairy Tail with you?" She asked.
Wendy jumped in surprise.
"What!? Erza do you realize what has happened while you've been gone? Natsu, Gageel and Gray have all made S-Class. Mira and Laxus got married and had a son! Elfman and Evergreen, Natsu and Lucy and Gray and Juvia all got married to! And you want me to take your daughter back with me?! What about you?"
"I'll follow in a week or two. Jellal and I have a target that we have been avoiding because of Xena. When its been taken care of ill come back." Erza said.
Wendy crossed her arms then pointed at Ace who was arguing with Cobra and Racer.
"What do you know about him? He's met all of you before." She said.
"I know that he took out an entire Dark Guild and still had enough strength to fight Cobra and Racer at once. He's incredibly powerful." Erza said.
"That strong? Okay. I'll take Xena but you better come back soon." Wendy grumbled.
"I will. Now you can still catch the last train from town tonight. And thank you Wendy." Erza said hugging the other girl.
Ace knocked Cobra and Racers heads together and walked over to Wendy.
"So what's the plan?" He asked.
"We're taking Xena back to the guild with us." She said.
Crime Sorcerie regrouped and Erza explained the plan to everyone. Xena for her credit didn't cry but hugged her parents and followed Ace and Wendy.
Once they were out of sight Jellal addressed his guild.
"Alright. We're going after Hel's Chosen."
