I knew as soon as I stepped on the plane I made a mistake. There was no way I was going to be able to stay away from all of my friends and Kairi. I had to find a way to convince my parents to let me come back and stay with the Nicks again, even if that means moving out and sleeping under a a tree. I just needed to be with them. All of them.

As I got off the plane I saw my parents waiting for me with a small box. "Hey Mom, hey Dad." My mom ran up and hugged me, "we both missed you so much Sora." My Dad messed up my hair, "welcome home buddy." My Mom handed me the small box, "here son, I thought this would be a good welcome home gift for you." I laughed and smiled, "Mom I've only been gone for a week, there's no need to act as if I was gone for months or years." She just smiled and kissed my cheek. I opened it up and inside there was a key, "what's this for?" It didn't look like a car key or a key to an apartment. "What is this?" My Mom giggled and opened the car door for me, "just get in and you can find out."

We drove to our home in Traverse Town and I saw a motorcycle in the driveway, "Who's bike is that Dad?" He pulled into the driveway and looked back at me, "it's yours son." I really didn't know what to say. I mean, my parents, who are safety freaks, bought me a motorcycle, one of the most unsafe vehicles there is. "You guys didn't have to buy me a motorcycle, I can ride my bike places." We all got out and they took my bags upstairs into my room. "Sora, come on, go take your new bike out, we can take care of your stuff." My Dad pushed me out the door and I ran downstairs and out the front door. The weird thing is it looked exactly like the bike Van had back in Hollow Bastion.

When i got on the bike it had a small note in the ignition. I pulled it out and read it, "Sora, you may recognize this bike from the beach. That's because it is the bike from the beach. I drove it to your house then took a cab back home. I hope you like it. Van." I smiled as a tear came to my eye. Van gave me his bike. He loved this bike more then anything so he must really care and want to see me again, right?

I walked inside and saw my parents cooking dinner. "Mom, Dad. I want to go live in hallow Bastion." They stopped and looked at me. My Mom smiled, "why do you think we let that Vanitas guy keep that thing here." I smiled and hugged them both. My dad messed up my hair again, "We knew you got to hang with all your friends again so we thought you might want to stay there." I smiled. again. "Thanks Mom. Thanks Dad" Dad ruffled my hair again, "hurry up son, Vanitas said he wants that back when you get there"

I re-packed my stuff and got on my bike and started it. For some reason it just felt right to own and drive it. "I'm coming back guys, and i'm not leaving again." I pulled out of the driveway after saying my goodbyes to my parents. I drove for awhile until i found a rest stop.

I slept for about 6 hours then got back on the road. I knew I would have to end up driving through the night, whether or not I wanted to was a totally different matter. I drove past a sign that said it was about 600 miles to hollow bastion. Great. I sped up until I was going about 120 down the country road. My phone started ringing so I pulled over. It was Roxas, "Hey Rox what's up Bro?" He sounded out of breath and scared, "Sora, the Heartless, they're back and in huge numbers. Ven and I just killed about 100 of them in just the square alone! You need to come back!" I hung up and drove faster.

After about 30 minutes of riding over 100 miles an hour, a police car put on it's lights and started following me. I pulled over and waited, "come on, I don't have time for this." The officer walked up and asked for my licence. I gave it to him and he looked up, "Sora huh? What is a celebrity doing driving a bike like this? Shouldn't you be in a limo or something?" I was really surprised when he said this. "It's an emergency officer, there's tons of heartless in Hollow Bastion." the officer looked surprised.

"I'll escort you to Hollow Bastion, and let's make it quick. I have family there." He quickly got back in his car and followed me down the road. We sped down the road even faster and got to Hollow Bastion. People were running around screaming and in a panic. "Oh my god." It was a disaster area; carts were broken, houses were damaged, and people were running from heartless from all the different worlds.

The officer pulled off and went a different way. I drove to the Nicks' house and parked. I saw Ven and Van in the yard fighting off heartless. I ran in and started fighting. Ven looked over in a surprise, "Sora?" I kept fighting, not paying attention to Ven or Van trying to get my attention. I was so mad that the heartless came back and attacked the house, I fought without mercy.

After the battle I walked into the house. It was clear of any heartless. "Theo?! Sammi?!" I ran through the house looking for them until I heard a noise downstairs. I ran down to see Theo and Sammi in the corner with Aqua and Kairi. "Hey guys, sorry i'm late." I smiled as if everything was OK. Kairi walked up and punched me in the stomach and then hugged me, "you should have told me you were coming back!" She hugged me for another 20 minutes until Aqua broke the hug to hug me to.

"Sora!" Sammi ran up to me and jumped on me, "hey kiddo, how ya doing?" She latched onto me and cried, Theo ran over and hugged me to. "Sorry it took me so long guys, I had to stop at a rest stop and sleep. I didn't sleep on the plane." Kairis' eyes were watering and she was sitting there smiling. Van and Ven came down and were out of breath.

"Sora, that was the hardest I've ever seen you fight in my life. That was awesome man." I smiled and saw Van, "I think these are yours buddy." I tossed his keys to him and he smiled, "Nah man, they're yours." He tossed them back, "Van, I've got my car here, keep your bike. I don't want you to lose something you worked so hard on." He sighed, "keep them dude, I want you to have it." I chucked the keys at him and laughed, "listen Van, if I ever need a bike to go on a road trip or something, i'll come get it from you. Until then, keep them." He smiled and put the keys in his pocket. "Has anyone seen Roxas?"

We ran around town after dropping the kids at day-care. We split up and looked around for him. Of course, Van went by himself, I went with Kairi and Ven went with Aqua. Me and Kairi were in the market area when a group of heartless appeared, "crap, soldiers, large bodies, and neo shadows. This is not good." Kairi ran and hid behind a cart. I knew I had to fight them quickly, but I didn't have the time. Just then I had an idea. I summoned the power of strength and turned into my valor form. I felt more powerful then I had ever been before. I slashed through the neo shadows and the soldiers. All I had left was two large bodies. I flipped over one and slashed into it's back, killing it in one hit. The other, I threw my keyblade at and a bolt of lighting struck it and went down into the heartless, killing it.

"Kairi, it's OK to come out now." I reverted into my normal self and we started running again. When is Kairi going to get her keyblade, I can't do this by myself forever. We ran into more heartless, and an enemy I recognized all to well. The nobodies. I saw an assassin and a sniper. I looked around trying to find a good angle to attack from, but every where I looked I saw more soldier heartless. I decided I had to use another form. I summoned the power of wisdom. I started shooting magic bolts out of my keyblade, again, I felt more powerful than ever before.

After the fight me and Kairi walked back to the Nicks house. We walked in and they all had bags packed with alot of stuff gone. "Whats going on?" walked over and put his hand on my shoulder, "We're leaving here Sora. There's to many heartless for the kids to handle. We're going somewhere safer." I looked at him a bit strange, "what about the house sir?" I really didn't want them to leave, but i understood perfectly. He smiled and looked at Mrs. Nicks, "Well Sora, how about you live here?" My eyes widened. There is no way this is happening!

I helped them with their bags and gave the kids a big hug, "you guys better come visit!" Everyone gave a laugh and got into the car. I waved goodbye and went back inside. I let out a sigh and looked around, Let's take a look at the situation; The heartless came back, I fought off a lot of heartless and nobodies, the Nicks family has left and now i have a badass house, a girlfriend, and a lot of good friends. Hmm...PARTY!

After Kairi and I went shopping for party supplies, we started getting the house ready for everyone. "OK, I'm going to call everyone. Can you grab the soda" She walked over to the fridge and grabbed a few bottles of soda. I called up the guys and told them to get their butts over here quick. I made it sound urgent. After about half an hour of waiting the door bell rang. Roxas, Ven, and Aqua were the first to show up, Van followed shortly after followed by Axel and Xion. They all sat down and waited. I walked over and smiled, "Welcome to the house of Sora Demns!" They all looked at me like I was crazy.

I turned up the music and poured the chips into a huge bowl, "everyone help yourself to soda!" The music was blasting and I noticed Roxas standing away from everyone, so i danced through the small crowd to him, "what's wrong bro, not having a good time?" He sighed and looked up, "well, everyone has dates, even Demyx!" It was true, Demyx was still with Olette. I put my arm around him, " I thought that might happen, so I did you a favor." As i said the i heard the door bell ring. I walked over and opened it and walked a girl dressed in black over to where Roxas was standing. "Roxas, this is my good friend Yuffie. She helped me with the battle at the maw." She smacked the back of my head, "helped?" I sighed and let them be alone.

I found Kairi in the crowd and danced with her. It seemed everyone i knew was here, even Tifa and Cloud seemed to be dancing together. Aerith danced with Leon and Merlin, well he danced with a floating pot. Don't ask because I don't have a clue how that made sense. Everyone was having a good time. I heard a knock and opened it, only to be hugged by Selphie. "Geez Selphie, don't kill me!" She laughed and held up what looked to be a stereo, "Karaoke!" I groaned as Kairi led her into the party area. Now don't get me wrong, I love to sing, ya know, in the shower, but in front of people was different. Everyone took a turn but me. Kairi had the sweetest singing voice I have ever heard. I'm almost positive that if she went into a room with a bunch of crying babies and started singing, they would all be quiet to listen.

I was deep in thought as Roxas and Yuffie pulled me up. "Whoa guys, this is not happening!" They pushed my up to the microphone. Why me? I looked through the songs until i found my favorite one; Carlos Santana, Into the Night. Everyone looked at each other. Seems like no one else knew this song. GOOD. I started singing and everyone just stopped and listened. I can't explain why, but I always got so into this song. I just loved it. As I finished i looked around at everyone, "what is everyone staring at me for?" Kairi walked over and gave me a huge kiss. "OK Sora, you have looks, you have charm, you're strong, maybe not that bright," I looked her with a questioning look, "and damn boy, you can sing." I blushed as everyone cheered.

After karaoke we all gathered around the 180" flat screen and hooked up the Xbox. I looked at everyone, "so because we did karaoke, we have to do guitar hero right?" Everyone just smiled which i took as "no shit Sherlock". We played for hours and hours until everyone was ready to leave to get some sleep. "OK everyone, Roxas, Ven, Aqua, and Van meet me here tomorrow for a patrol of the city to make sure everything is OK." They all nodded and left followed by everyone else except Kairi. "Um, Sora..." she was blushing hard, "yes dear?" She blushed harder when I said that and put her hands behind her back and looked at the floor, "can I...can I stay here tonight?" I laughed and hugged her, "sweetie, I wouldn't want anything more then for you to stay here with me. Forever." She blushed even harder, if that was possible, and hugged me.

I fell asleep with Kairi cuddled close to me. I couldn't help but smile, which i guessed she sensed because she looked up at me, "Thank you for always being here for me." I kissed her softly and pulled the cover up, "well, you can expect me to be here every day, since I'm not going anywhere any time soon." She smiled and fell asleep. Perfect end to a mostly perfect day. A party, a new house, and I get to spend my life With the greatest person I have ever known.
