Wren
So ignoring everything from the most recent chapters except for Grays Demon Slayer magic. Yeah I've actually got a plan. PS if you want to imagine Doctor Wendy then picture Doctorine from One Piece, yeah she'll go to great lengths…
Wren sat outside his guilds headquarters. He was new to the guild so he had been put on guard duty. He was pretty sure he was stronger than most of his fellow guildmates but he assumed it was normal for newcomers to be treated like weaklings.
He was short, only around five feet tall, and with black hair he didn't stand out much.
He was bored though. Then a group of people came walking up. The two in the lead had red and blue hair.
"Is this the Hel's chosen guild?" The man with blue hair asked.
"Yep. You here to join?" Wren asked.
"Erik. Deal with him. Then catch up." Jellal said.
"Gotcha." Cobra said.
"What do you mean deal wi-" He stopped as Cobra sent him sprawling.
"Well if that's what you want…" Wren said quietly.
His hands melted and changed shape. They solidified in the form of twin battle axes. Parts of them were still red hot magma and he gave Cobra a smile of anger.
"I've only been here for two days but I'll stop you!" Wren yelled swinging his axes.
Cobra easily dodged his attacks but listened in on Wrens thoughts.
'Why're these guys attacking us? We haven't done anything wrong!'
"Kid, you do know your in a dark guild right?" Cobra asked.
Wren stopped stunned.
"What?" He asked.
"This guild is one that doesn't follow any rules and will commit crimes. Jeez have you been living under a rock?" Cobra asked.
"Well actually…"
Wren was from a village in a hollow mountain and he was one of the first to leave his village in decades. So he had no clue about light and dark guilds…
"I see. Well just stay out of our way. We'll take you to one of the light guilds after we're done." Cobra said walking into the guild hall.
Wren watched him go standing in confusion.
In Magnolia three days later…
Ace woke up on a comfortable bed to the smell of candles. He sat up and found that his wounds on his arms and legs were all bandaged. His chest didn't hurt as much but there was still a dull ache.
"Hey! Wendy he's up!" Tiger yelled.
"Don't let him get out of bed! His legs still need a bit more treatment!" Wendy called from somewhere out of sight.
"Ugh where am I?" Ace asked not heeding Wendy's advice and attempting to stand.
Something big pushed him back into the bed. Ace looked up to see a big cat man standing over him. It looked an awful like Tiger…
"Who're you?" Ace asked.
There was an explosion of smoke and tiger appeared.
"It's me. Lily taught me transformation magic when he and Gajeel returned two days ago. He really wants to meet you." Tiger said.
"Can I get up?" Ace asked.
"Nuh uh. Wendy's scary when she's in doctor mode. You tried to get up in your sleep and she beat you up. It was scary." Tiger said trembling.
Wendy came running in wearing an apron.
"Sorry I've trying to learn to cook from Mira but I'm not very good yet." She said.
"What's wrong with my legs?" Ace asked ignoring her excuse.
"The muscles have been strained to the limit. Your steam body is incredible but it's damage is so extensive it's taken me four days to heal you this much." She said.
Ace grumbled but stretched his legs out as she healed them. The process only took about ten minutes but Ace was impatient to get up and out of the bed. Also it was somewhat embarrassing that he had been sleeping in a girls house for the past three days.
When she was done he grabbed his coat and headed outside. Karla put her hands on her hips.
"That was rude! He's been here for three days and he didn't even give a word of thanks." She yelled.
"Ace isn't good at talking with people. And he doesn't like relying on others. Most of the time his conversations consist of asking the last man standing where Terra is." Tiger said.
"Can you tell us what happened with Terra?" Wendy asked.
"Eh?!" Tiger asked shocked.
"Well?" Karla asked.
"Uh… sorry but Ace has to tell you that himself. I won't tell anyone I promised." Tiger said running after Ace.
"What happened that made him hate her so much. I get she killed his parents but still to be this angry after all this time…" Wendy said crossing her arms.
"Do you smell smoke?" Karla asked.
"Ah! My bread!" Wendy yelled running back into the kitchen.
At the guild Ace sat down across from Gajeel. Lily gave Tiger a high five (or would it be a high paw?).
"So your the new guy. Can you really use three different elements?" Gajeel asked.
"Gajeel! Be polite!" Levy yelled whacking him with a thick book.
"Ow! Why'd you hit me? I'm tryin to be polite!" Gajeel said.
"Introduce yourself first."
"Fine. I'm Gajeel Redfox." He said holding out his hand.
Ace shook it.
"I'm Ace. And yes I can use three but only at different times." Ace said.
"Well that's stupi-" Levy sent him sprawling with her book and sat down in his place.
"You'll have to forgive my husband. He's not very good with people." Levy said.
"That's okay neither-" Ace stopped as the guild doors flew open.
"Everyone trouble! Some strange guy is approaching town. And he's got Erza!"
All the chatter in the guild stopped. Erza was still respected as the guilds strongest female wizard and if she was hurt then someone was going to pay. Ace and Gageel stood up quickly and ran outside with Natsu. The three dragon slayers sniffed at the air and their eyes narrowed.
"I smell blood." Natsu said.
"A lot. Must be the rest of Crime Sorcierie." Gageel said.
They took off following the scent on the wind. When they found the source they found a strange boy carrying a rock shaped like a bowl on the outskirts of town. Inside were Erza, Jellal and the former Orracion Seis.
"What the hell guys?! Erza?!" Natsu yelled.
The kid holding the bowl collapsed onto one knee.
"They… need help… this is Magnolia right? Fairy… Tail…" He said as he collapsed and the bowl fell to pieces.
The dragon Slayers grabbed the unconscious mages and ran back to the guild. Erza and Jellal were in the worst shape. They had major cuts and the increased movement opened their wounds. Someone had gone and gotten Wendy so when they arrived she immediately took them into the infirmary. She treated Erza and Jellal first while Mira performed first aid on the others. Meanwhile Lucy and Levy were trying to wake up the strange boy who had brought them to Magnolia.
After twenty minutes he woke up and saw most of the guild watching him. He wasn't used to large groups and he wasn't good at being in front of people.
"Uh… hello?" He asked looking around.
Natsu grabbed his coat and glared.
"What happened to our friends?" He asked quietly but with an unmistakable tone of rage.
"Uh well you see… I just joined Hel's chosen a few days before they showed up. I'm from a village in the mountains and I didn't know about dark guilds or anything so-" He stopped as Natsu punched him.
"I don't care about that! What happened!" He yelled.
"They got their asses kicked! Now let me go cherry hair!" Wren yelled heating up his hands.
Natsu threw him against the wall.
"Why didn't you stop somewhere so that they could get medical attention?!" The Fire Dragon Slayer yelled.
"Because they were chasing us until this morning! I protected them as much as-" He stopped and gripped his side.
A dark red stain appeared on his shirt and Natsu blinked in surprise.
"Damn it! I thought I cauterized this yesterday." Wren grumbled.
They sat him down at one of the tables and took of his shirt. Over two dozen stab wounds covered his chest and back. Most were burnt shut but a few had reopened and were slowly leaking blood.
Lissana wrapped him up and Natsu grumbled an almost inaudible apology. After his wounds were treated the crowd disbanded leaving the male Dragon Slayers, Makarov and Wren alone at a table.
"So boy, what happened?" Makarov asked.
"Well, after Cobra explained light and dark guilds to me he followed the others inside but…"
Three days earlier…
Wren followed Cobra inside. Hot eye, Racer and Angel were unconscious and lying on the floor. Erza and Jellal were back to back and surrounded. Midnight was deflecting all the spells directed at the unconscious mages but he was weakening. Cobra sent a wall of poison in front of Midnight giving him a respite and drawing the attention of the attackers. One, he was a massive man with a strange looking sword that was filled with holes, stepped forward.
"Another one? Good I was feeling a bit peckish. You ready to die brat?" He yelled charging forward.
Cobra dodged his attacks easily and then grabbed the sword with a clawed hand.
"You hurt my friends… are you prepared for the consequences?" He asked.
"Eric let go of the sword!" Midnight yelled.
Cobra looked over at his friend then collapsed. He fell onto the ground, conscious but unable to move. The man looked down at him mockingly.
"So I'm gonna pay? How so little man?" He asked laughing.
Wren clenched his fist and it melted into a massive double sided hammer. He leaped into the air and brought it down on the other mans head.
"Lava Gods Burning Hammer!" He yelled.
He turned to the crowd of dumbstruck wizards watching the man fall.
"Lava Gods Bellow!" He yelled and a wave of lava shot towards them.
They ran away as the lava rushed forwards.
"Kid! Watch your back!" Cobra yelled.
Wren turned to see the man from earlier rising to his feet.
"You little upstart brat! How dare you betray us!" He yelled.
Wren held his sword with a single hand. He knew the swords ability. It drained all the Magic energy from anyone who touched the blade and gave it to the wielder. Wren wrapped his molten hand around the blade and threw it against the far wall.
"You never told me that you killed people! Now time to face Judgement." Wren said grabbing the mans face.
He branded the mans face with a handprint. The man passed out from pain and Wren threw him to the side.
"Kid, just who are you?" Cobra asked.
"Wren Kasar, Lava God Slayer. Now…" Wren said turning to the remaining dark guild members.
His eyes were glowing and smoke was coming from his mouth, combined with the burning background he looked like a demon to them. They retreated as their Guild Master appeared along with her lieutenants. When Jellal and Erza saw who was with her they stopped stunned.
A young man with sad eyes black hair and a black and gold coat.
"Z-Zeref!" Jellal said.
Terra laughed.
"Surprised? I guess it's to expected from Fairy Scum. You know, I really thought you'd get farther than this. Now it's time to see you out. Oh and if you survive, tell Ace that he'll never beat me. Ta." Terra said stomping on the ground.
"Earth Dragon Teeth!" She yelled.
The ground trembled and spikes shot up from under Erza and Jellal. They stabbed into the duo and held them there. Terra looked over at Midnight.
"As for you, let's give you something you can't avoid." She said.
She stomped the ground again and the earth closed around Midnight in a statue shape. Leaving him trapped.
Then she threw a spear into his stomach and watched as it went through completely.
"Midnight!" Cobra yelled.
Wren glared at Terra. His fist molded it into a new shape even he hadn't seen before. A long pipe with a glass scope.
"Lava Gods Cannon." He said in a quiet voice.
He shot a barrage of fire balls at the crowd and even Terra dodged. In the ensuing Wren gathered up the members of Crime Sorcierie. And formed a stone bowl out of his hands. Then following Cobras last orders before he passed out from exhaustion Wren headed towards Magnolia.
"…And that's what happened. They chased us after that until this morning." Wren said completing his tail.
Ace stormed out of the back of the guild hall and slammed the door so hard it broke the hinges.
"Is he okay?" Wren asked.
"He's Ace, the one Terra mentioned." Natsu said.
"This is far worse than anything I could've thought. They have Zeref working with them… I'll need to call a meeting of the Guildmasters for this. Macao, Cana you two keep things here under control. I'll be back as soon as I can." Makarov said as he headed out.
"You got it." Macao and Cana said.
