Shocking Siblings
*SPOILER ALERT*
So yeah unlike the manga I have the Dragons not being found yet. So just to make sure that's clear. Also Zeref is alive. And so is Acnolgia. Now on with the story…
Everyone sat staring at Ace as he stared at the ground. He had never told anyone his story before, and now it felt not better but… not as… he couldn't find the words to describe the feeling.
"So you killed a dragon with two hits? We couldn't even damage Acnolgia with four dragon slayers." Natsu said staring at the sky.
"Yeah, well I couldn't move for two days because it ripped up my muscles. And that was when I was lost in rage. My physical strength goes up but I kind of just hit things until they stop moving when I'm like that." Ace said.
"You went through a lot. Makes me kind of glad Metalicanna left before she could find him. He told me about Glacial, mostly just how he could've beaten him if they met again but I know he was bluffing." Gajeel said.
"But Igneel could take him! He would've squashed her!" Natsu said excitedly.
Ace twitched and gave Natsu an angry smile.
"Are you saying that Igneel is stronger than Glacial?" He asked through clenched teeth.
"Yeah!" Natsu said completely oblivious.
Wren dragged Natsu away before Ace tried to attack him. The rest sat in silence until a young girl landed in between them.
"Hey all Dragon Slayers! Special job request for you guys!" Mavis yelled.
"What?" Ace asked.
"A job request just came in. It's from Warrod! He wants all the dragon slayers and their teams to come see him for an S-Class job." She said spinning around.
"Warrod?! The Wizard Saint?!" Wendy, Lily, Karla, Happy and Romeo yelled.
Gajeel and Levy stared open mouthed. Ace was surprised but remained calm on the outside.
"Master Makarov says you should all head out at once. With all of your available team members." Mavis said.
Natsu looked over at Lucy.
"Well Juvia and Gray are both gone on an S-Class Job. And Erza is still healing up. So I guess that means it's just you, me and Happy." He said grinning.
Gajeel sighed as Levy went to go get Jet and Droy. Wendy looked around to see Ace shrugging and Romeo grinning. Asuka whistled and gave her a thumbs up.
"What about me?" Wren asked.
His injuries were healed and he hadn't officially joined a team yet though he had a maroon guild mark just below his neck. Wendy smiled.
"You can come with us! It can be your first job!" Wendy said.
"Eight person team? Isn't that kind of stretching it Wendy?" Natsu asked.
Wendy glared at him and he immediately walked away whistling. Within an hour the assembled teams had boarded the next train and were underway with their SS-Class job.
The Dragon Slayers all groaned as the train rocketed down the tracks. Wren stared at them.
"You guys okay?" He asked.
"Motion sickness. I miss it when I was weak!" Wendy cried.
"I wish I knew what that was like…" Natsu and Ace mumbled in unison.
"So all dragon slayers get motion sickness?" Wren asked.
"Only when they reach a certain point with their magic power. Wendy hot that limit three years ago. At first it was just mild nausea but pretty soon she caught up with the boys. She's just as strong as them when they have one element active." Levy said without looking up from her book.
"One element?" Wren asked confused.
"They can gain new elements in certain situations. Natsu can use Fire and Lightning. Gajeel is a Shadow-Steel Dragon Slayer. Wendy is the only one out of the three of them who doesn't have a second element." Lucy said.
"Wrong… I'll show you when I feel better." Wendy mumbled.
Now that got everyone's attention. Lucy and Levy looked at Romeo for answers but he shrugged just as confused.
"When did you get a second element?" Asuka asked.
"After that escort mission… I don't feel so good…" Wendy said sticking her head out the window.
"So Ace is the only one without two elements!" Wren said.
Six inch icy claws pressed against his throat.
"Tri-Element."
Wren backed off and sat down while Asuka and Romeo tried to think of how and when Wendy could have gotten a second element. Levy and Lucy returned to their books. That evening the train arrived at their stop and they booked a few rooms at an inn.
"Okay Wendy show us what you've got. Come at me!" Natsu yelled when the group had wandered outside of town.
Wendy nodded and clapped her hands together. A mini tornado spun around her and then she took a deep breath then a blinding light shone on her. When the light wore off her hair had white streaks. She took a deep breath then shot a beam of light into the night sky.
"White-Sky Dragon Roar!" She yelled.
Natsu and Gajeel stared open mouthed.
"You absorbed power from Sting?! Did he just give it to you?!" Natsu yelled.
"No. I beat him first. Romeo and Asuka were off shopping with Carla so I walked over to SaberTooth and beat Sting." She said walking off with a smirk.
Everyone except Ace say in stunned silence. He followed with his hands behind his head and Tiger riding on top. The rest of the mages recovered and chased after them.
When they arrived at Warrod's house Natsu calmly walked up and banged on the door.
"Hey tree geezer! We all came!" He yelled.
Lucy smacked him in the head and mumbled something about a complete lack of respect. Then the door opened and Warrod stepped out. He was still mostly the same except his eyes were completely black and he seemed to be in a great deal of pain.
"Ah young ones. I don't have much time to explain. Recently an earthquake opened up an ancient village with two humans in a magical stasis. The stasis was broken when the sun hit them and now they are running around causing havoc. They have only been a few miles to the east. They are both very powerful and use magic that I have never even heard of. Defeat them! Go!" He cried falling to one knee grasping at his chest.
"Let me help you first!" Wendy said kneeling over him.
"No go now! Before they start causing more chaos!"
They reluctantly left him and started in the direction he had specified.
"So what kind of magic do you think they use? It must be pretty dangerous to hurt Warrod like that." Lucy said.
"Whoever hurt the old man is gonna pay! He doesn't even like to fight!" Natsu yelled shooting a fireball into the sky.
"Calm down Natsu. If you get worked up then you'll be likely to make mistakes." Ace said.
"Whatever. I'm just itching to fight against a tough opponent for once." Gageel said cracking his knuckles as Natsu and Ace started throwing punches.
"You shouldn't be so confident Gageel. Remember what happened with that kid?" Lily said as he flew next to the dragon slayer.
"How was I supposed to know he had time magic!? Besides he went down easy enough with one punch." Gageel grumbled.
Levy sighed and looked over at Wendy. She was talking with Romeo and Asuka. She was like their big sister and it reminded her of the time when it was Just her, Jet and Droy. A smile came over her face and Wren walked up.
"Hey cutie wanna hang out later?" He asked.
Gageel glared and Wren retreated behind Ace and Natsu. They had stopped wrestling and were simply talking now but it still sounded like an argument.
"So what are we looking for exactly? Two very strong Wizards but what kind of Magic do they use? And how will we know them?" Lucy asked.
"Well I think we'll know them when we see them. Besides there aren't to many people around here. It should be easy to find them." Gageel said.
"Oho? Powerful Wizard? Would you be looking for me?" A deep voice asked from a nearby hill.
Naturally everyone turned to the voice and the saw a tall thin man wearing a black cloak that was blowing in the wind dramatically. He was pale and he had bright blue eyes. Short neat black hair covered the tops of his eyes and he had a mischievous smile on his face.
"That depends are you the one who hurt Warrod?" Natsu growled.
"I would never hurt anyone. My magic is not suited for combat anyway." He said glumly.
"Then your not our guy." Gageel said somewhat annoyed.
"Might I accompany you? I believe I may know the ones you are after. A brother and sister. Less than a mile north of here they are camped in a small clearing. I will show you." He said leaping down next to them.
"Well the sooner we find them the sooner we can kick their asses. Lead on!" Natsu said happily.
"My name is Xavier by the way. I use Illusion magic." He said creating a mirror image of Natsu next to the original.
"That's so cool!" Natsu and Happy said.
"What about you?" Mikkel asked.
"I'm a Dragon Slayer!" Natsu said happily.
"So are we jerk!" Ace Wendy and Gageel said hitting Natsu's head.
"God Slayer." Wren said.
"Celestial Spirit Wizard." Lucy said.
"Solid Script." Levy said hesitantly.
"Guns Magic!" Asuka said pulling out her pistol.
"Fire Magic." Romeo said lighting a different colored flame on each finger.
"Plant Magic!" Droy said.
"Speed Magic!" Jet said.
"Well now isn't this a treat." Mikkel said sinisterly.
In an instant he disappeared and each of the Dragon Slayers and Wren went flying into trees. The others stood shocked and stared at their friends.
"Natsu! You oka-" Lucy was cut off as Natsu gripped her throat.
He held her off the ground squeezing her neck. His eyes were completely black and an evil smile stretched across his face.
"Natsu what are yo-Ahhhhh!" Asuka was cut off as Wendy grabbed her arms and twisted them until they broke.
"Wendy!" Carla yelled trying to stop her friend.
Romeo was about to blast Wendy with purple fire when Ace ran dagger like claws across his back. The Ice Dragon Slayer's eyes were black as well.
Gageel was about to attack Levy when she sent him flying with a metallic punch. She slipped her jacket off and revealed metal skin exactly like Gageel's.
"Levy…? What?" Lucy asked weakly.
Levy leaped at Natsu and he let go of Lucy then retreated next to Mikkel where Wren and Gageel were now standing.
"I think I should kill you all as an example." Mikkel said.
Lucy coughed but summoned two of her celestial spirits. Leo and Aries appeared and stared in shock at the situation. Loke immediately freed Asuka and Romeo then ordered Jet to get everyone to safety.
"Aries and I will hold them off as long as possible. Hurry!" Loke yelled.
"I have a better idea. My little Brother leaves before I make him regret it!" A girl said from a tree branch above them.
Everyone looked up to see a blindfolded girl holding a black wood staff. Her hair was nearly as long as she was tall and it hung down a few feet below her. She was lying on the branch sideways and even though she was blindfolded it was obvious she was glaring at Mikkel. Mikkel was obviously angered by her presence but he turned and the dragon slayers and Wren followed him.
The girl dropped out of the tree and landed easily. Asuka was crying as Lucy tried to inspect her arms. She summoned Virgo and the spirit wrapped her arms in a splint.
"So who are you?" Romeo asked as he and Loke faced the strange girl.
"My name is Yulie. I'm sorry about my brother. He has a bit of an evil streak." She said with a bow.
"What happened to the others?" Levy asked as her metal skin faded.
Yulie sighed and sat down. Romeo and Levy cautiously followed her lead.
"My brothers and I were put into stasis by our father during the war with the dragons. He thought that we would be able to live in the world after the war ended. However my older brother somehow was released from Stasis before the rest of us. He should still be around since his magic makes him nearly immortal. Have you ever heard of Zeref?" She asked.
Everyone looked at her with a mix of hatred and fear. She looked around questioningly.
"What?" She asked.
"Zeref is the worst magician in history. He disappeared seven years ago when we destroyed his guild of demons. He is the most hated person in the world." Levy said.
Yulie smiled.
"Really that makes my goal so much easier. You see I promised my father that I would do whatever it took to keep my brothers in line. No matter what. I will kill him. And I'm one of the only people who can." She said.
"What?! But he's your brother! You would kill your own family?!" Lucy shrieked.
"If it's to save others then yes. I already have to stop Mikkel. Well his real name is Xalen. He never liked it though so he changed it. Anyway you asked what kind of magic he used right? It's called kings hand. It grants the user complete control over anyone they touch. But he can only control five people at a time. All of our magics are extremely powerful and they don't affect each other. That's why he left. He relies on his magic while I favored learning how to use a weapon." She said leaning on her staff.
"So he controls them? They can't resist?" Jet asked.
"No. It can't be broken unless the user dispels it or is rendered unconscious. Though they can move and fight normally the magic makes their personality shift to be more like the user. In this case it would bring out all the worst aspects of your friends." She said.
"Okay I understand that. But what about you? What kind of magic do you use? And what's with the blindfold?" Loke asked.
"Magic? Well I use spirits. Not like you I use the spirits of the dead. Try to hit me." She said holding out her arms.
Loke looked skeptical but charged at her. Just before he hit her he stopped. His arm trembled and he was thrown into the air. He landed with a thud and a cloud of dust.
"See? And the blindfold? That's for my protection. I was born with time sight. If I look at anyone then I will see their past, present and every possible future. It is very overwhelming when I am in a crowded area." She said.
"Then how do you walk around like you know where everything is?" Droy asked.
"The spirits tell me and guide me. That's why I respect them. They could make me look like an idiot." She said.
"So how do we get the others back? I don't think we are really in a situation to stop your brother right now." Levy said.
"Your right. Do you have a village or something like that? We need people who can beat your friends or at least hold them off long enough to finish off Mikkel." Yulie asked.
"We have a guild." Jet said.
"What's a guild?" Yulie asked confused.
"It's… I don't know how to explain it. We are like… one big family. At least Fairy Tail is. Come on. We need someone who can help Asuka anyway." Romeo said looking over at the miserable gunslinger.
"My hands aren't broken at least. I've still got one good spell…" She was grumbling to Lucy.
"Well then let's go meet your Guild." Yulie said.
