"I am so getting the master bedroom," Speedy said and was off.

Bee just shook her head as she watched Speedy leave. She then watched Mas and Menos leave as well.

"Well then guess we might as go find what's left," she said as her and Aqualad went to find their rooms. They found their rooms and everyone spent some time unpacking their belongings before they were out near the lake.

"Awesome lake," Speedy said and then watched Mas and Menos race into the water.

Bee shook her head at the two and then walked alongside the lake edge away from the rest of her teammates. She had put on a tank top and shorts with scandals on. She was soon joined by Aqualad who walked alongside her.

"Enjoying your time?" he asked her

"Haven't decided yet we just got here," she answered him, "What about you?"

"Liking it so far," he said to her.

"Oh, really how so we just got here?" she questioned him.

"Well one I don't have to worry about Speedy hitting on Starfire and Robin trying to kill him. And get to spend some of the time with you."

"You spend time with me all the time."

"Fighting crime, I do, I meant spending time with you without working."

She gave him a light smile and looked out at the lake. She watched Speedy, Mas, and Menos in the water, "Surprised you're not in the lake."

He looked over at the others and shrugged his shoulders slightly, "I can do that anytime," he said to her.

They walked around the whole lake in silence and then they walked back into the cabin. Bee made some pasta for dinner with some pesto sauce and was putting it on the table when the three others walked into the cabin.

"Bee what did you make?" Speedy asked her

"Pasta with pesto sauce," she said to him. As she sat down next to Aqualad and severed herself after he had served himself. The other three sat down as well and served themselves. They actually ate in silence for once. There were no arguments or yelling going on. It was relaxing and a nice change of pace. Once everyone was finished Aqualad had Speedy clean the dishes and most just went to their rooms for the rest of the night. Bee had changed into a black two-piece bathing suit and headed out to the lake with a towel in her hand. She placed it on the side of the lake edge and then dived into the water. She was doing some freestyle swimming when she came back to the edge of the lake where she looked up, she saw Aqualad.

"You're out late Karen?" he said to her.

"Yeah I know but I like the quiet really," she said to him. She watched him as he sat on the edge of the lakes edge and watched her. "Are you just going to watch me or are you going to join me?" she asked him as she swam backwards in the water. She watched him as he stood up and took his shirt off. She just had to look; he was well toned. He dove into the water then. He swam over to her easily and they floated a few inches away from each other. "Waters nice without the boys," she stated.

"Yes, it's quiet."

The lights were out in the cabin everyone but them was asleep and the only light they had was the moonlight. Karen looked up at the moon then back down at him. She went to swim past him but he had caught hold of her wrist and pulled her through the water and over to him. She had placed her hands against his chest as he had pulled her to him and she was loving the feel of his chest under her hands. She looked at him and he looked into her eyes. The next thing she knew was that his lips where lightly pressed against hers. She couldn't believe it but she didn't want it to end. Before he pulled away from her lips, she kissed him back and felt his arms go around her waist. After a few more seconds they finally pulled away from each other and just stared at each other for a few seconds before Karen spoke, "We should go back inside now probably."

He didn't answer her just nodded his head to her. They both swam over to the edge. Karen pulled herself out of the lake and once she got out, she picked up her towel and wrapped it around her body. They walked inside the building silently next to each other and before she entered her room he spoke, "Night Karen."

"Night Garth," she said to him with a light smile before she went into her room. Once she was inside her room and had the door shut behind her she leaned her back against it. She let out a breath and just stared into the darkness of her room with a smile on her lips. She shook her head slightly before she walked over to change into clothes for bed and combed her hair so she got rid of any tangles.

She woke up to yelling and rolled over in her bed placing her head under the pillows trying to drown out the yelling. She soon gave up and got out of bed combing her hair quickly and exited her room in her pjs still.

"What in the world are you yelling about!" she demanded.

The yelling stopped and eyes were on her.

"Well someone's not happy," Speedy commented.

"I wonder why Roy? I was sleeping and then get woken up by you yelling. Apparently, I can't sleep without you yelling in the morning it's like the tower," she turned then and walked back to her room slamming the door behind her. There was no noise after that. She went over to her bed and dropped onto the bed and closed her eyes again. Trying to calm herself. She just wanted quiet for once for a little bit. That wasn't so much to ask for she thought. A knock then came to her door. She closed her eyes as she answered, "Come in." She heard the door open and then shut behind her.

"Karen you okay?" came Garth's voice

"Yeah I'm fine. Just tired of the yelling ever single morning," she said to him.

"Yeah I know."

She sat up on her bed then and looked at him. He was dressed in a black shirt with dark blue jeans on. Man, he was hot. "Want to join me for a walk?"

"Sure," she said, "Just let me get dressed."

"Okay, I'll meet you in the main room," he said as he left the room.

She went over to her clothes and found some light blue shorts and a black tank top. She put them on then placed scandals and tennis shoes on before she left and meet up Garth in the main room.

"Okay we're going for a walk don't destroy the cabin while where gone," he said to the three.

"Yeah whatever," Roy said from his seat.

Karen and Garth both left the cabin then and took one of the trails that was near the cabin. They walked in silence for the first fifteen minutes of the walk.

"You sure you're okay Karen?" Garth asked her

"Yeah I'm fine."

He nodded his head to her and Karen picked her pace up a little so she was walking next to him on the path. They were walking up a hill at the moment. "Why did you choose this path?" she questioned him.

"It's longer and has a nice view," he said to her.

"And you know that how?"

"Robin told me," he said to her.

Karen nodded her head and walked next to him. They reached the top by late afternoon and sat on the edge of the cliff looking down. From where they were, they could see the whole lake, the cabin, and the forest. "Well Robin was right this is a nice view."

"Yep."

It was quiet for a few, "Last night was fun," Karen said breaking the silence and still looking out at the view. Garth had moved his gaze to her and watched her for a few, "Yeah it was. We should get more alone time."

Karen smiled and then turned to face him. He was close to her and this time she was the one to kiss him first. He kissed her back and placed his hand around her waist lightly. They continued to kiss for a few more minutes before they finally pulled away from each other. "We should head back," Garth said to her.

"We have to?" she asked

"We should no wondering what those three are doing to the cabin," he stated.

She nodded her head before she gave him one quick kiss and then got up. He followed her down the path and back to the cabin. It was still standing and the inside was fine as well.

They spent two weeks at the cabin and Karen and Garth only got two more chances to get away from the others and they would usually spend it by hiking and kissing slightly. But other than that, they spent most of the time with the others. They played a few games in the water and there weren't many arguments during the two weeks of the vacation. Besides being in the water and hiking they would spend the rest just relaxing in the cabin or just outside of the cabin. When Karen was out of the cabin she was sunbathing. Garth was usually in the water when the others weren't or he went out running. Speedy just was in the cabin most of the time complaining about there being no girl around. Mas and Menos spent their time playing tag or just running around. When it came time to leave, they left in the same cars they had come in, Speedy tried to get out of having to take the twins but he lost that battle and still ended up taking them with him.
