A/N: Ah, I just speed-typed the end parts really fast which was challenging on my iPad which is annoying to type on. So I kinda don't have enough time to write the replies on my story so I'll just be replying to the guest ones and send you all PM's replying to them after I get back home.
I wanted to finish the chapter yesterday and update last night but then my mum tells me we have to go to this big thing on at my family friend's house like an hour before leaving. X(
Anyway, enjoy the chapter. :D

Ama Zon: Er, I'm not sure if that'll happen or not since I'm making a sequel which will definitely have a CS ending.
YeahToast: Yes, I do like toast. Especially with Nutella on it. :3 Ahaha, a dollar per second? A tad to much for this... thing that I write. XD Ooh, get eaten by his own Gyarados? I might consider that. XD Aw, haha sorry for taking so long. I felt bad after reading your second review. I dunno about Twilight since I don't like it, but it's definitely not better than the Hunger Games. XD Thanks, anyway! :D P.S You should make an account. (:
Ready to fly: Yeah, I don't really like her either. But she's just one if those necessary characters, ya know? :3 Enjoy the chapter! XD

Chapter Seventeen: Realisation
Misty's flight reminded her of the time she met Ash, on the plane. How he had angered her, but how she enjoyed her flight with him. She turned to see Leaf's head, which was resting on Misty's shoulder, sleeping soundly. Misty could never sleep on planes anyway, she disliked flying. Travelling by water was much better for her.
She looked out of the window at the dark, star-studded sky, up high in the atmosphere. After thinking about the dense, food-loving boy, she couldn't help but wonder where he was. Why didn't he contact her at all? Shrugging internally, because she didn't want to wake Leaf, Misty went on the flight information screen to see where they were currently flying.
She decided that she would call Ash once she landed. He was from Kanto, right? He would be able to meet with her. Misty smiled at the thought of seeing her friend again. But she would never be able to imagine what Ash was really going through. Not in Kanto, but where she was flying over right now. Unova.
May exited the airport, pulling her luggage behind her. She inhaled deeply, smiling. It felt nice to be back on home soil, as much as she loved to travel. She glanced around, trying to spot her escort to her home. She found a sign that said "May Maple" on it and walked towards the person holding it. Sure, her family could take her but she was planning to surprise them.
"So, where are we headed?" the driver asked.
"8 Primal Drive, Petalburg," May replied.
The driver nodded and drove out of the airport and onto the main road. He smiled as he said, "Before you go, would ya mind giving me an autograph of yours? My daughters are huge fans of your band."
She smiled warmly. "Of course!"
"Thank you, miss, I highly appreciate it. You're their favourite member of Eye of the Liepard, so they'll be overjoyed," he said, grinning.
May suddenly felt a warm, fuzzy feeling in her stomach. What is this? She suddenly felt like she was amazing, powerful. A wave of confidence passed her, a feeling where she felt better than everyone in the world. She grinned. "Tell them I say thank you."
"Will do," the driver replied, pulling into Petalburg City. Soon, he arrived at Primal Drive and pulled into the driveway of house number 8. It was a double story, medium-sized house, with May's room being on the second floor with a large window. She often sat on the large window sill and drew, or wrote.
The driver helped her take her luggage out, and then gave May a poster of Eye of the Liepard. "This is my daughter's, I brought it in advance since I knew I'd be driving you."
May signed it and wrote a small note on it, putting a smiley at the end. "Here you go," she said with a smile, handing the pen back.
"Thank you," he said. The driver drove off as May took a deep breath, nothing was sweeter than home.
She brought put her keys, unlocking the door. She stepped inside, expecting to have the smell of her aunt's delicious meals wafting towards her. She expected to hear laughter and talk from around the house, to hear sound from the T.V or a pot bubbling.
But it smelt different. An unpleasant, bitter smell along with the eerie silence of the house caused her to worry. "Hello?"
No reply.
May gulped, leaving her luggage at the door. She walked around the house, and into the lounge room. Her eyes widened and she gasped. She choked, covering her mouth as she screamed. There was dried blood on the couch, the kitchen and the dining table. Where Uncle Frank, Aunt Teresa and Wally would be sitting.
Dawn arrived at her home, knocking on the door. Her mother, Johanna, opened the door saying, "Yes?" Then, she realised who it was. Her face suddenly turned into a wide grin. "Dawn!"
"Mum!" Dawn replied, throwing her arms around her only remaining family member.
"Come in, come in!" her mum ushered, pulling her out of the rain. She grinned as Dawn dropped her things as took a seat. "I'm so proud of you, Dawn."
Dawn smiled, glowing with pride. "Thanks, mum."
"How was everything? You're much more famous than me now, Dawn. You girls were absolutely amazing," Johanna praised. "How was Kalos?"
"Lumiose was amazing!" Dawn paused, remembering about how she had dragged Paul around the shops after he has saved her. She narrowed her eyes for a second, wondering about him. "I even went to that famous store, Boutique Couture!"
Her mother grinned. "Oh? How was that?"
"The clothes there were amazing!" She held up her hand, counting with her fingers. "I got two dresses, three skirts, shorts, a coat, five tops, a hat, three bags and-" She was cut off by her phone, which started ringing in the pocket of her sapphire-coloured coat. "Hold on a sec- Hello?"
"...May? Hey, calm down! What's wrong?" Dawn asked in concern, her cobalt eyes narrowed. Then, they widened. "What? Okay, okay. Do you have anywhere you can go? ...Right. Will you be okay? You can come stay here with me... Drew?... Alright. Bye."
"What's wrong?" Johanna asked as Dawn put her phone down. She was carrying a dish with pasta in her hands which she had brought out from the oven.
"May's family," Dawn replied with a grim expression, "They're gone. And there's blood everywhere."
Johanna's eyes widened as she dropped the large ceramic bowl on the ground, not flinching at all as it shattered into pieces. "T-That's what happened to her parents... they disappeared from their home with blood everywhere, along with May. But she returned, with you."
Dawn was shaking at the memories, of how that boy had been shot trying to save her. How they escaped on the oddly coloured Rapidash from the gloomy buildings, through dark, empty fields.
"So what do we do?"
Leaf and Misty arrived in Vermillion City, a city with a port that had an orange hue all over the seaside city. Misty glanced around her, trying to spot the young Champion. "Where is she?"
"There," Leaf suddenly said, pointing at a restaurant.
Misty turned to see whee she pointed and squinted her eyes, covering her eyes from the sun. She spotted Lyra, standing in the shade of the restaurant, glancing around. "Ooh, I see her. Let's go!"
They walked over to Lyra, sunglasses and sun hats disguising them from the public. "Hey!" Leaf called out to her friend.
Lyra turned around, grinning. "Leaf!" She hugged her old friend, before turning to Misty. "And it's good to see you again, Misty."
Misty smiled and nodded. "Same goes, Lyra. I still remember how your cute little Flaffy KO'd my Gyarados. Oh, and your friend. He was terrifying as well," she said, remembering her opponent's cold, grey eyes.
"Oh, you mean my boyfriend, Silver?" Lyra said, leading them into the café. Misty was awed at it's water-ness. It was a Hoenn-native café, specialising in seafood and had an aquarium as it's walls. "He's right here."
Misty and Leaf looked down at the table where Lyra stopped, to see Silver sitting there. He had dark red hair, cold grey eyes and an overall intimidating stare. He glanced briefly at them, looking unimpressed. "This is who you wanted to meet? Who's the carrot top?" he asked, not bothering to look at Misty.
Misty twitched in annoyance, clearly offended that Silver didn't remember her. "I'm Cerulean's Gym Leader, you idiot!"
"Right," he said, not caring. "Oh, I remember now. You're the gym leader that lost to me worse than Lyra did the first time I battled her," he snickered.
"Silver! Stop being so rude," Lyra scolded. Then, she glared at him as she remembered about their battle all those years ago. "And hey! You had the type advantage with Cynaquil."
"Tch, that's no excuse. He didn't know any fire type moves anyway," Silver retorted. Lyra puffed her cheeks, crossing her arms as she muttered something inaudible in reply. Leaf could swear she saw a hint of a smirk on Silver's face. If anyone could make him smile, it was Lyra.
"Anyway," Lyra said, taking a seat next to Silver, "I have something really important to tell you guys. Sit down!"
Leaf and Misty took a seat opposite them on the table. Leaf rested her chin on her hands. "Go on."
"You know Giovanni?" Leaf and Misty narrowed their eyes, but nodded. "Well, he's Silver's father," Lyra said. She ignored her friends' expressions and continued. "To help Silver, I had to go to this base that's controlled by a man called Lysandre and see what he was up to. Giovanni and Lysandre had always had a rivalry."
Misty and Leaf's eyes widened at the mention of Lysandre. For some reason, Misty felt like she knew what was coming.
Lyra looked down at the table. "I- I don't know how to say this. But you know your friends, Ghost of the Night?" Leaf and Misty nodded, signalling to continue. "They've been on a mission for Lysandre this whole time, to assassinate you."
It was late at night when Dr. Hayman decided to head back home. After picking up her bag, which was resting on the wall of her office, she grabbed her coat and pulled it on.
She was about to leave the room when suddenly, she heard a short message tone and a vibrate in her desk's drawer. Raising an eyebrow, she turned back and opened up the drawer.
The source of the noise was Drew's HoloCaster. Curiously, she clicked on the play button to see a holographic image of Lysandre appear on the circular device. Her eyes widened as she listened to the recorded hologram speak.
"I don't know where you are, Emerald, but I'll have you return immediately. I have your teammates at the palm of my hands, I can kill them whenever I want to. But they're valuable, so I have some better blackmail."
What's he talking about? she thought, utterly confused. She listened on as the hologram of Lysandre smirked.
"I have the three remaining members of May's family, right here. You have three days to get here, otherwise I'll kill them. Your family was already the reason her parents died, I'm sure you wouldn't want to be the reason why the rest of her family died."
And with that, the recording switched off. Dr. Hayman stood there, speechless. Then, she chuckled. "I don't know what's going on, but this is perfect," she said to herself.
She headed out to the parking lot, dropping the device on the ground. "Go, Weavile." The Pokemon turned to look at it's owner questioningly. "Destroy it," she said, pointing to the HoloCaster.
Nodding, Weavile slashed it multiple times with it's razor sharp claws, leaving it in tiny shards.
"Good," she said, returning the Weavile. She smirked, remembering that the special medicine she gave Drew would be in effect from tomorrow. Could it get anymore perfect?
Before May left for LaRousse, she decided to check around the house for anything after calling the police. She didn't believe her family was dead, despite the blood. Although her family was missing, May decided to stay a night at the house before going to LaRousse since Drew wouldn't arrive until tomorrow.
She entered her room, looking around. It looked neat and untouched. She glanced around, spotting her Kalosian Life magazine she used to read. She opened it at a random page, about Mega Stones.
Suddenly remembering her Blaziken had a mega stone, she brought out her own one to hold herself from her bag. It was in an earring with the stone as a pendant.
In the morning, she left her home to LaRousse city to go to Drew's home. After arriving to the city, she asked around for the Hayden residence.
"The Hayden residence," an aqua blue-haired teenager said, "Oh, that massive house ner the Battle Tower?"
May hesitated. "Um, probably?" Drew should've been out of the hospital by then, and definitely should've been home as she stayed at her house for a night.
The girl nodded. "Okay, so you see that tower?" she asked, pointing at a tall, black tower. "Well, go to there and then turn right on Delta Avenue and you won't miss the house."
May smiled at the girl. "Thank you very much!" With that, she turned around to run to the Battle Tower. She reached it, looking for a Delta Avenue on the right. After spotting it, she waked down the beautiful road, with trees, flowers and lovely paving.
Then, she spotted the Hayden residence and her jaw dropped. It was huge. The wall which bordered the garden was made with black bricks bricks. The mansion, however, was mint green with large, amazing windows. The gate had a golden plaque that said "The Hayden Residence" and was tightly shut.
She rang on the doorbell multiple times, but there was no answer. The gate didn't open and nor did Drew come outside. May narrowed her eyes. Where was he?
"Hey, girl. Whatcha think you're doin'?"
May spun around to see a plump, relatively old man with a stick in his mouth. "I'm just here to visit someone," she replied, not knowing if she should be scared.
He raised an eyebrow and then chuckled. "Visit someone? At the Hayden Residence? No ones been here for years, girly. Not since Victoria and Jack died."
May frowned. "Who's that? And what about Drew?"
He sighed, shaking his head. "They're young Drew's parents. They died back when he was a tiny lil' kid. Ever since then, I dunno where he's been but I heard he was on some show. Good that he's enjoyin' life."
She didn't know what to say. If Drew wasn't here, the where was he? May sighed, as the situation left her with no choice. She had to go and stay with Brendan's family, in Littleroot town.
"Drew~! It's finally the day you're released," Dr. Hayman said, walking into Drew's room. "So all your tests are done, and you're free to go. Just get changed into your own clothed, they're right there," she said, pointing to a neatly folded pile of clothes. "Your friends brought them for you before you left."
Drew nodded. He had to catch the quickest flight to Unova that he could, he knew his friends were in trouble.
"I'll leave while you get changed," she said, exiting the room.
He changed into his clothes, tight jeans and a shirt before opening the door. His legs somewhat still felt like jelly, but he could manage. "So, do I just leave?"
Jess nodded. "I've already done your paperwork, you're free to go."
"Right, thank you," Drew replied quickly, turning to walk away.
But then, Jess called out and stopped him, "Hey, Drew!" He turned around, raising an eyebrow as she walked up to him. She threw her arms around him into a tight hug. "Be safe."
Somewhat reluctantly, Drew lightly put his arms around her. "I will."
But where Drew couldn't see while they were hugging, Jess smirked. The "medicine" she inserted into his body all those weeks ago would be kicking in soon. Soon, as in, today. And after that, he'd be back in the hospital. And someday, wiped of his memories.
A/N: Erm... What did I just write? *shrugs*
May's family is not dead, despite the blood. They just had an... er... painful kidnapping? Idk, I can be sadistic sometimes so... yeah. XD
So, I don't really know what to say. Did you like it? Review, please! :D
