Sasuke and Naruto looked around checking their surroundings They weren't far away from the Sand Village. As they entered the village they could see a large cloud of smoke coming from it once again. Above the village was Gaara riding on a cloud composed of sand. Before him was one of the Akatsuki Members, Deidara. They were having a large scale battle at the moment. Sasuke activated his Sharingan, giving him clear view of Deidara. He gathered chakra in his legs and leaped off into the air.
"Sasuke wait!" Sakura stated but Sasuke was already gone. Naruto looked at Sakura and smirked.
"Wouldn't expect anything else of him. Hey Sakura...give me a lift." Naruto stated as Sakura let her head dropped. She then smirked and grabbed Naruto by his shirt.
"Get Ready Naruto!" she stated as she began spinning around and launched Naruto high into the air, towards the direction of the village. Naruto flew through the air and removed a Kunai from his pouch. It was one of the Hiraishin Kunai he carried. Naruto began his decent towards the village and aimed his kunai for Gaara. He threw the kunai, enhancing it with wind chakra, causing it to move towards blinding speed towards Gaara sand. Gaara's defense picked up the kunai and caught it before Gaara got a glance at it. Suddenly a blond man appeared.
"N...Naruto?" Gaara stated while Naruto began forming hand seals. Sasuke was still in the air for a moment and was coming down half way from the distance. He began a few hand seals and Naruto and Sasuke launched their attacks at the same time.
"Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu!"
"Fuuton: Daitoppa no Jutsu!"
The combination attack's met head on at Deidara as he was forced to abandon the giant fireball. Things weren't looking good any more. It was a three on one at the moment. He had noticed the Uchiha coming towards him, but the blond came out of no where. Deidara was heading towards the ground before he removed a large amount of clay from his pouch and began forming another bird.
"Hate having to use this so early...but I'm glad I prepared it in advance." he stated before removing his ultimate art. He launched the clay sculpture towards the air and it began to grow in size instantaneously. It made it's way towards Naruto and Gaara as Sasuke was just now landing on top of a building. He saw the amount of chakra that thing contained. It would destroy the village. Sasuke gathered chakra. He hoped Naruto could take care of the giant bomb. No doubt Naruto would deduce what that thing could do.
Sasuke turned his attention to Deidara. Naruto, seeing this, focused on the giant bomb, as he formed a Shadow Clone who disappeared in a shushin while Naruto leapt towards the bomb. He gathered chakra placing a seal on the bomb. Deidara was about to detonate it, but Sasuke began launching Giant dragon heads towards the blond. He began maneuvering the bird, but couldn't detonate the bomb. Deidara looked around for Sasuke, who had disappeared from his view. Suddenly he heard crackling behind him as he turned around quickly to see Chidori aiming for his chest. Deidara smirked and with skill and precision replaced himself with a clay clone, utilizing some of the clay from the bird.
Sasuke caught what Deidara did, utilizing his sharingan, and tried to free his arm. The clone began to glow, and Sasuke gathered more chakra to his chidori causing a large spark of chakra to disable the clone, rendering the explosive material null. Sasuke took a gamble and was proud it paid off. Deidara formed a hand seal hoping to detonate his clay creation that he unleashed on the village, but his smirk turned into shock as it detonated far away from the village.
"What...what happened?" He asked out loud. He looked around and saw a blond haired shinobi looking up and smirking at him.
"That...would be my doing...As how I did that..." Naruto stated as he brought his hands into the Kage Bunshin seal. Suddenly, hundreds of Naruto's appeared around Deidara. "I don't feel the need to tell a dead man my techniques." he finished as the clones leaped towards Deidara who was landing on the ground, after he had substituted. Deidara didn't have much clay, but he could attempt to take on the clones to the best of his abilities. Sasuke and Gaara was heading back, with Sasuke stating for Gaara to leave it to Naruto for the time being.
Deidara and Naruto's army were squaring off. Deidara had never been so hard pressed in his life. A clone came towards him as he leapt over it placing a hand on it's back and utilizing his Explosion Release to detonate the clone. While he liked to be artistic, he couldn't afford to take this blond kid as a joke. The boy was an S ranked threat in the bingo book for a reason. Another clone came behind him, as he twisted his body launching a kick to the clones chin, dispelling that one as well, as one came from his side hitting him in the jaw, sending him into another clone.
Deidara ducked under this clone's attempt to hit him and dispelled it with a well placed attack in the stomach and then began taking a taijutsu stance. Deidara wasn't a slouch in taijutsu as most would believe. He began to dodge a few clones attack as he began to retaliate with his own attacks. He reached for his pouch to gain some clay, but the clones weren't letting up. At this rate, he would be taken down before he could even escape the village.
Suddenly a mass amount of clones were dispelled by senbon, explosive bombs, and shuriken along with various other ninja tools. A humped back man appeared in the distance with a metalic tail waving around him. "Deidara...you're taking too long. Don't tell me this brat has you tied up?" Sasori asked.
The clones regrouped and assessed the new threat. They began to look a the new arrival and began to contemplate the dangers of attacking and how to handle the situation. Deidara leapt over towards Sasori. "Sasori, my man, I can't tell you how happy I am to actually see you." He stated. Sasori looked at Deidara and then back to the blond.
"Let's go. We didn't come here to fight a war." He stated as Naruto's clones dispelled. While it would be beneficial to stop them both where they stood, he also had to think about the implications of fighting the two. While he knew that Deidara was pretty much a dead man walking against him, this new character dispelled multiple amounts of his clone without even thinking, Naruto figured the two of them being Partners would increase their fluidity in battle, and that he couldn't press Deidara well enough with the new commer there. Naruto dispelled his clones as Deidara and Sasori disappeared.
Sakura appeared at the gates of Sunagakure as Deidara and Sasori had just disappeared. Naruto began walking back towards Sunagakure himself as the battle had shifted positions. He made his way towards Sasuke and Gaara as Sakura and him arrived at around the same time. "They decided to retreat. I doubt they'll be back soon like they did this time. But if they come after you again, they're likely to send more shinobi after you." Naruto stated.
Gaara looked at the blond noticing his changes. He had heard stories of Naruto and his adventures and he was suprised to see the blond back with Konoha. "We need to increase security. Apparently, Sasori, the hump backed Akatsuki member, has sleeper agents in my villages population. That's how Deidara got through our village defenses. It'll be difficult to weed them out. In the mean time, I request Konoha's aid in eliminating Akatsuki's presence in the village. These men are a threat to Sunagakure. I was hard pressed to fight Deidara while watching over the village. His fighting style is quite...destructive." Gaara added.
Naruto looked at Gaara. "Tell me about it. Had I of gone easy on him, I would have been suprised. He fought off a large amount of my clones utilizing Taijutsu along. I'm partly glad he didn't get to use any of his clay techniques." Naruto finished up. As Sasuke looked at Naruto and Sakura looked at Sakura, they all began to nod.
"It's settled then, we might as well try and find these two. They couldn't have gotten too far. Considering the fact that we don't really have any tracker type techniques on hand...we could utilize a Sand Shinobi for tracking. They know the area much better than we do." Sakura stated. Naruto thought about it for a moment and racked his brain for something that would help.
"I might be able to help out with some tracking." He stated as he formed a hand seal. A kage bunshin appeared and made it's way out the door. "My clone will go out and do some research on the terrain. When it finds a lead it'll dispell." he stated as the clone disappeared in a shushin. Sasuke nodded as an old lady appeared.
"Chiyo-sama." Gaara stated showing respect towards the elder shinobi.
"Kazekage-sama, it's unbecoming of you to show such respect towards a member of your village." the old lady joked. She looked at the Konoha shinobi and her mood turned a bit sour. "So, you're going to track down my grandson huh?" she stated while looking at them with a close eye.
"If he's sided with Akatsuki, then he'll have to be eliminated." Naruto stated while Chiyo nodded. She wasn't one to really try and dispute this logic. She had, herself, planned to take down Sasori and bring his body back to Suna. She was sad it came to this, but she would help the Konoha Shinobi.
"Allow me to assist. I may not look like it, but i'm the greatest puppeteer this village has ever known." She stated. Naruto thought about it while Sasuke and Sakura looked at the old lady. They didn't know her from asshole to elbow, taking her along was a big factor in their plans. But they needed a Suna shinobi, and this one would possibly know more about the land than any other shinobi.
"Alright," Sasuke stated. "we can use a bit of help any how. We'll head out immediately, so be prepared." He stated as he started walking out. They had given the clone ample time to get to where it needed to go. Naruto felt the clone reach a location after sensing the chakra of Sasori and Deidara. While Deidara was able to hide his chakra some what, Sasori had a pulsing chakra near the location of his chest that was continuous. Naruto stored that information for later and would pinpoint that chakra's exact location. The clone dropped a Hiraishin kunai and then dispelled.
"Alright, I got their location. We can get there immediately." Naruto stated. Chiyo returned with some shinobi tools and a few scrolls. Sasuke and Sakura placed their hands on Naruto shoulder while Naruto touched Chiyo's shoulder. They suddenly disappeared in a bright light and appeared at the Hiraishin Kunai. Naruto picked up the kunai and pocketed it. "Alright, we're here." Naruto stated
Chiyo was impressed by this. The young man knew the Hiraishin and could utilize it well if he could get them this far in the blink of an eye. Chiyo actually got to experience the technique herself and was impressed. "So...what should we do?" Naruto stated. Sasuke thought for a moment before he decided to just go in with Sakura and cause a bit of ruckus.
"Maybe we can split them off." Sasuke stated. Sakura thought for a moment and realized that these were highly experienced shinobi they were dealing with.
"While that would work in any other situation. We should just face them together, at the moment we have a two to one advantage. I'm sure if we fight together we could take them together. Maybe Lady Chiyo can help us with support." Sakura stated.
"I could hold off Sasori, this other one, the blond one...I dont' know much of his abilities. I saw him utilize explosion based attacks. He could damage my puppets so I don't really want to end up against him." she stated. Sasuke nodded and Naruto looked at them both.
"What ever we decide to do, we better do it quick, they're moving." Naruto stated as Sasuke and Sakura nodded and then they all began to go towards the shinobi. It was going to be an all out battle between them. One thing was certain that day, two people would die.
