Chapter 13: Aum Madura and Parting ways
Hi! Time for another chapter! I have decided (Robin: AT LAST!) to make this an OCxAladdin fic! Anywho time for the sad chap… I don't own Magi or its characters. I only own my Ocs!
Last Time…
Robin's POV
"We'll be arriving soon!" Aladdin said looking out to see. I grinned. The captain commended our efforts and Alibaba was still holding a grudge against us all. I sighed and began stretching.
The boys argued while Mor looked out to sea. I stopped and walked up to her. I looked out and spotted fire at the port we were meant to be going to.
"Ne, Mor can you see the fire?" I said. She nodded. I turned as I heard abnormal movement in the sea water.
"Robin?"
"You two have incredible eyes ladies…" a voice said. My eyes widened as a figure in a sphere of water appeared. He looked like… a kid pirate… all of a sudden a baby appeared on his shoulder. The boy had markings on his face, scruffy clothes and his long hair was pulled roughly into a ponytail. The boy demanded for the goods of the ship. All of a sudden more spheres came out of the water containing more pirates and two ships. I grunted.
"WE ARE PIRATES!"
Current Events….
Robin's POV
I mentally cursed myself, all I had was my knife and my own two hands, and everything else was in our room. Pirates began flooding the ship causing the crew to panic. All of a sudden orbs of water flew at us and the crew. Magic tools…? A pirate pointed one at the captain's face. I punched a pirate in the face.
"Captain!?" Mor kicked the pirate as I back flipped to stand with the others. I nodded to the others. We all darted forth.
"Robin!" Aladdin said
"Yep!" I said realising I could go all out. I closed my eyes focusing on Helios and the ruhk around me. I pulled out my knife, flames and light engulfed it. I stepped forwards and reappeared behind several pirates, flames engulfed the magic tools and any of their weapons. I grinned.
"OLBA, Please!" Several pirates yelled and the boy from earlier stepped forth. We all grouped back together. The boy, Olba tilted his head and pointed to Aladdin and myself.
"You two… how old are you?" The question threw us off slightly.
"What's that got to do with this?" I yelled, slightly annoyed, jeez you should never ask a girl their age not matter how old they are. The boy sighed and the hook fell off his arm, revealing a magic tool.
"Never mind… you are getting in Aum Madaura's way… MAGIC TOOL ALA RASARS!"
We were all engulfed in a bubble. I pounded my fist against the bubble.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?" Alibaba yelled.
"Language…" I said.
"ROBIN NOW ISNT THE TIME FOR THAT!?" I sighed and pointed to Alibaba's sword. Alibaba pressed his sword against the bubble causing it to pop.
"Dammit!" We all hit the water, I quickly swam to Aladdin but a branch lifted us all out the water.
"Hakuryuu, your arm!?" Alibaba said in shock once we were on the deck of the ship. He grinned.
"It's my turn to fight!" Hakuryuu effortlessly took out most of the pirates until…
"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! Try anything else and you'll see this guy's head fly off." Everyone paused.
Olba gave a smug smile.
"That's right. Just be good and let us have the cargo."
The pirates took the cargo and fled into the sea.
"Bastards! They escaped into the sea!" I pulled Alibaba's cheek.
"Language."
"Rwbin it hwrts, it hwrts!" I sighed and let go of Alibaba's cheek.
*Mini time skip*
Eventually we reached Akita but it was in bad condition. Fires rage, people cried. I clenched my fist.
"Th-this is awful…" Alibaba muttered. I spotted some soldiers walking towards us.
"Commander, this port is under your protection, how did this occur?" I asked Bowing to the commander who paused and returned the gesture.
"The Great Holy Mother did this Madam." The commander of the Akita kingdom's navvy announced.
"Commander, who is the great holy mother?" Aladdin asked. The commander explained the situation and of Magnostadt's actions. I crossed my arms and sighed while Aladdin looked shocked. The villagers then came towards us, begging for their children to be saved from Aum Madaura but the soldiers claimed they could do nothing. They explained about Madaura and the pirates in detail.
"Aladdin do you have an idea how to solve this" Alibaba asked as the civilians were pushed away.
"Um…" Alibaba began babbling about magic which Aladdin couldn't use. I sighed and karate chopped him lightly on the head.
"Alibaba, Aladdin doesn't know. Anyway transforming someone would require a lot of orders, right Aladdin?" Aladdin nodded.
"There is no need to worry. I already have a plan!" Hakuryuu said, earning shock from all of us.
"AWAKEN ZAGAN!" a plant burst from the ground and poked Hakuryuu's face. He smiled and explained his plan.
"Wow…" We all muttered.
"Let's go save the children!"
"But…" the commander's voice rang out clear.
"Since we don't know the abilities of our enemies. I cannot carelessly send the battleships the king entrusted to me…" A riot broke out and I sighed. I watched as Alibaba looked pained at what was conspiring. I pulled out a cape from my bag, on it was the Neathian royal crest and I placed it on. I took a deep breath in.
"SILENCE!" Everyone stopped and looked at me. The commander looked at the crest and realized who I was. He dropped to one knee and bowed. I walked over to the civilians.
"Everyone please stay calm. As the commander says he cannot do a thing. But listen to my words, do not despair!" The others had caught on to what I was doing and nodded.
"My comrades and I will save your children. I will not let the civilians of a country allied to my own suffer!" I watched as the navvy beat a hasty retreat as the civilians flocked around us. I watched as they smiled gratefully at us. I walked over to Alibaba and clapped him on the shoulder.
"You okay now?" I asked. Alibaba smiled and nodded.
"ALRIGHT! Team Zagan, Let's kick some ass one last time before we part!"Alibaba yelled. I laughed.
"YEAH!" Aladdin and I chorused.
*time skip, to entering the hideout!*
We all landed on the ground of the hideout, completely surrounded. We all grinned.
"Now… How about kicking some ass!" Alibaba yelled. I spotted Olba and grinned.
"Give us the children! We will bring them back no matter what!" Alibaba yelled.
"NO! They are Aum Madaura's children already! BUROL!" a huge cannonball of water burst forth. Alibaba watched in horror. I sighed.
"I got this!" I quickly stepped forward, summoning Helios's katana and I spilt the prb in half. The water hit the floor, creating two craters. Orbs were fired atus, all of us darted out of harms way while the pirates laughed.
Robin! Lets try that combination we worked on!
Sure!
"HalHarl Rasars!" Alibaba yelled.
"Helios' flames!" I yelled. Our fire intercepted the water and Aladdin hi-fived me.
"ALON, YON, BYOUK! JUMP!" Pirates jumped with their cannons and were placed in orbs of water. Ability but we all got hit at some point. All of a sudden…
"THEY WENT INTO THE HOLES!" attacks were fired from what seemed like everywhere.
"Robin!" I nodded to Mor.
"Let's do this!" Mor and I ran separate ways. I ran up the cliff face and jumped into one of the holes. Once inside I used my hearing to locate a group of pirates.
"Haha it's a little girl!"
"Too easy!" I sighed and let lighting crackle along my katana. I quickly plunged the sword into the bubble, electrocuting them.
"Sorry, what was that? Too bad water's a good conductor for electricity!" within minutes and several explosive attacks the walks shattered revealing Mor and I had defeated all the pirates. I gave a thumbs up to Mor.
"We have defeated them all." Mor said in her monotone voice, earning us exclamations of surprise and delight we tied up all the children who cried for their mother.
"Are you alright my little children?" A feminine voice asked. Everyone covered their ears apart from me and the children.
"Nice to meet you…Ufufufu intruding children… I'm the other of all miserable children in the world Aum Madaura! I will save you my children. I will not forgive those who hurt you."
The ground beneath us gave way and we plummeted into the ocean. Mor's mouth opened and air bubbled out her mouth. Hakuryuu grabbed Mr and tried to swim to the surface. I reverted my katana back to a knife and pointed to a beast which Madaura claimed was her true fortress. All of a sudden Ice launched out of its mouth. It's like Judal's attacks… Alibaba summoned Amon and protected Hakuryuu and Mor. We sunk to the ocean floor. Alibaba, using a magic tool tied to his foot he sliced the thing making an opening.
*mini time skip*
We ran through the base, encountering lots of children trying to protect Aum Madaura.
"Even kid this young…"Alibaba muttered. The kids claimed they had been abandoned and the children cried, asking her to kill her. We ran past them.
"It seems like they were brainwashed." I said. Everyone looked at me.
"They are saying she raised them though!" We stopped. I sighed.
"To be honest with my past I've seen this plenty of times only more violent methods were used. I think this Aum Madaura may have something brainwashing the kids into believing she is their mother. Probably using their loneliness for her advantage." We continued to run. Everyone one seemed to agree among themselves that they had left that loneliness before.
"Robin what about you?" Aladdin asked as we ran. I smiled.
"I was brought up not to have feelings like that. It was only once I was forced to leave the assassin business that I began to experience human feelings but loneliness was never one of them. Anyway, I won't forgive her for taking advantage of those children!" I said with a sad smile.
"I won't forgive her as well! I agree with Lady Robin!" I smiled as we burst through the doors to where Madaura waited.
"Welcome intruders!" Maduara said.
"RETURN THE CHILDREN AND TREASURE YOU TOOK FROM THE CIRT OR ELSE!" the woman laughed at Alibaba.
"It's useless, you can't attack me. Now become my children! HOLY MOTHER HALO FAN!" I watched as a huge vivid fan depicting a mother and child appeared behind the woman. Everyone paused and I looked as everyone's hands, apart from my own fell above their hearts.
"Mother…" Morgiana muttered. SHOOT! Alibaba and I looked at her in shock. I watched as the others around me fell to the ground due to the magic. Madaura glared at the others.
"Inside every person lies that kind of love… and from that nostalgia you absolutely cannot get away."
"Oi! Then how come I'm not on the ground crying out! I said with a grin walking towards Madaura who had walked up to Mor. She growled. I pointed my knife towards her.
"What's your plan demon?" I heard yells from children screaming that's she wasn't a demon.
To control every ruler in the world while they are a child of course!" I took a step forward.
"I am not going to allow you to do that!"
All of a sudden Aladdin moved in front of Alibaba, shielding him from the fan.
"Alibaba! That woman is not your mother! Even if she was… is it alright for her to dictate your every move?"
"Alibaba! Listen to Aladdin! Will you truly be happy being told what to do, like a puppet on a string?" I yelled. While Aladdin focused on getting Alibaba to break his spell I spoke to Mor.
"Mor. Remember everything, all the feelings you've received from others. Think of all the fun we've had!" I yelled. Mor's hands clenched into fists. I grinned as Mor and Alibaba tried to stand.
"They're going… against mother's orders."
"Hey I wasn't under your spell to start with!" I said once Alibaba and Mor's shackles had broken. The four of us stood in front of Madaura.
"Sorry you guys… that you had to see such a bad side of me." Alibaba grunted. Mor nodded agree with Alibaba.
"I will not be tricked again!" Mor proclaimed. The pirates ran towards us.
"Leave it to me. I'll just knock them out." I said, preventing the others from moving. I ran forwards, dancing out of the way of the swords and magic tool, striking them near the back of every pirate's neck which rendered them unconscious. I looked at Hakuryuu who was near Madaura. His arm shot forwards slamming into my stomach sending me onto the floor next to Alibaba, Aladdin and Mor.
"Robin!" I waved them off as I stood up. I spat blood out of my mouth on the floor.
"Hakuryuu!?"
"DWELL WITHIN MY BODY ZAGAN!" We looked at Hakuryuu in shock as he performed a Djinn equip. We jumped out of the way of his attacks. I looked carefully at him… Half equipped? Alibaba and Hakuryuu duked it out. He was fighting… so desperately… like his life and several others depended on it. We watched in horror until Hakuryuu's magoi ran out, causing him to collapse on the ground.
"The holy mother where is she!?" Aladdin yelled once we had hold of Hakuryuu.
It was while this was occurring that Aum Madaura was captured by the Akita Navvy. After hearing the Sindrian trade ship was heading to supress the pirates the Navvy had to move. This was due to the deep ties the country had with Sindria and Neathia, as the Commander recognised the young brunette to be of the Neathian royal family.
*later on…*
Alibaba, Aladdin, Morgiana and I looked at the crying children and Madaura being held with swords lightly pressing against her.
"What will happen to the children?" Mor asked the captain of the trade ship.
"They will most likely be imprisoned."
"But they're only children…" Alibaba muttered all of a sudden the villagers came out from the shadows screaming.
"KILL HER! SHE DESRVES TO DIE! KILL! KILL! KILL!" the villagers overpowered the soldiers and battered Madaura. Hakuryuu stepped forwards with a sword. His eyes were dark. I knew that look all too well. I clasped my hands over Aladdin's eyes.
"ROBIN?!"
"I don't want you to see this…" I muttered but he pulled my hands away as Hakuryuu smiled and beheaded Madaura. I looked down as Hakuryuu picked up the head and showed it to the children.
"HAKURYUU WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE!?" I heard Alibaba yell. WE listened to his reason.
"I was still under her spell… My mission is to kill the Al Sarmen witch… my mother…" I walked over to Hakuryuu and slapped him. His hand went to his cheek. I looked at the ground.
"Get out of sight… Now…" I muttered. He walked away with Alibaba hot on his tail. I walked over to the body of Madaura I knelt next to the body. The children around me scowled.
"I'm sorry for your loss. I hope your mother's sol finds peace and solace." I said, my voice cracking every now and then. I looked up to see the children around me crying and nodding at me. In a blurr Olba stood in front of Hakuryuu holding a sword.
"You… I'LL KILL YOU!" Hakuryuu punch him. He began taunting and speaking about Madaura.
"HAKURYUU!" Alibaba yelled, grabbing Hakuryuu.
"ENOUGH!" I yelled Looking at my two friends, fists in tight balls at my side. Hakuryuu pushed Alibaba away and walked off.
I watched in silence as Alibaba demanded and won the slaves off the Akita Navvy; which then sailed off. The children cried their hearts out over the body of Madaura. I watched as Alibaba Walked up to Olba.
"You're their Leader, Right?" Alibaba asked reaching for his hand.
"Don't touch me! WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! WE ARE MOTHER'S CHILDREN! If it wasn't for her… there would be no reason for us to exist anymore. But she's dead…" Olba broke down crying. Alibaba cried as well begging for Olba to lend him his power. Soon everyone was crying. I felt tears stream down my face. Aladdin smiled at the sight. I wiped the tears from my eyes. At sunset the pirates boarded the ship heading for Sindria. I smiled at the children and waved as they waved back.
They're good kids…
Robin?
It's nothing… Just some old ghosts…
Once saying goodbye and watching the ship sail off, I sighed while raking a hand through my hair.
"I'm glad that's over." I said
"Huh?" I watched as Aladdin looked around.
"Aladdin?" Alibaba and I asked.
"Where's Mor and Hakuryuu?" I shrugged.
"Let's go find them!" So the three of us ran around until we found Mor. Hakuryuu had already left for Tenzan Plateau.
"I'M GOING TO TALK TO HIM!"
"Alibaba don't', please I beg of you!" Mor cried grabbing Alibaba's shirt. I saw Aladdin Wore a determined look on his face.
"Be careful…" I whispered. Soon enough we watched him leave to talk to Hakuryuu. I hugged Mor as Alibaba looked on worried.
Once Aladdin came back we made our way to an inn and we left our bags in the room.
"Come on Let's go! "
"Yeah!" I sighed at the boys. Mor wasn't happy but they dragged her with us to a tavern to eat. Alibaba managed to get Mor to eat after some annoying persuasion.
Somewhat I don't think I'll miss that…
Hehe Robin, I think your right…
"It will be a long time till we can do this again…" Aladdin said, catching the others' attention.
"You two are going to Laem, right?" I asked.
"Yes but we will be taking different ships. You two will go straight to Neathia and Magnostadt…" Mor said in a solemn voice.
"I intend to return in a year!" Alibaba proclaimed.
"As soon as I see my home village I will go back too."Mor said
"I will take much longer as there are many things I want to learn…" Aladdin said.
"The same applies for me. It may take me some time to figure out the ruins and I will also have to help my brother…" I said
"Oi you two! Not that long! Don't stay and never come back! Let's make a promise." We all grinned and bumped our fists together.
"We will surely meet again and in one piece!"
*mini time skip*
On the way back to the Inn we all smiled.
"Let's go back and sleep." Mor and I nodded, agreeing with Aladdin.
"Hey Aladdin let's make a little detour." After telling Mor and I to go back I twigged what they were doing. I puffed out my check and grabbed Aladdin's jacket.
"Robin I have to go!" I pouted shaking my head. He's too young for that! Alibaba grabbed Aladdin and the two ran off. I puffed out my check, annoyed.
"Baka…" I muttered.
"Robin?"
"You can follow them but I ensure you that you will not like the results. I'm going back." With that I walked off. Aladdin is an idiot! Baka, Baka, BAKA! I stormed through the inn to our room and led in bed, covers over my face. I hear the door creak open and slam a couple of minutes later.
"Robin?"
"What?" I mumbled, hugging my pillow closer to me.
"You were right…"
"Told you."
Eventually morning came…
"Good Morning Robin, Mor, Alibaba!" Aladdin cheered. I sighed I had been up planning my route. Mor stayed silent and pouted slightly. I heard a groan from Alibaba's bed.
"Aladdin lower your voice, your making my wounds hurt…" Alibaba moaned. I walked over to Alibaba's bed and ripped off the cover.
"What wounds… Get up…." I said in a cold voice, glaring.
"EIIIIIII! Robin you're scaring me!" Alibaba cried. I slowly tilted my head.
"Scaring you?" I tilted my head from my left shoulder to my right.
"EIIIIII!" I then burst out laughing.
"HAHAHA YOU LOOKED SO SCARED! YOUR FACE WAS PRICELESS!" I laughed, holding my side. Soon enough we were all laughing.
*Time skip*
Aladdin's POV
The four of us grinned. Alibaba and Mor looked at their separate ships while Robin looked up at the sky briefly.
"Next time we meet I will be so strong that you will be surprised!" Alibaba boasted.
"Yeah, Me too!" I said, punching the air.
"Then I will become even stronger so that I will not lose to you!" Mor said with a determined grin.
"Well I'll become SSOOOO strong that you guys won't be able to touch me!" Robin declared, pointing to the sky.
"Ok see you then!" Alibaba said with a grin. We all smiled in response.
I wiped out my turban, I helped Robin on and we rose into the air.
"BYE ALIBABA, MOR! WE WILL MEET AGAIN!" I yelled.
"BYE GUYS! SEE YA SOON!" Robin yelled, waving.
For a while we flew in the air until I heard a roar. Robin smiled.
"OVER HERE!" Soon enough a gold dragon flew besides my turban. Robin smiled at me.
"I guess this is goodbye…" She muttered. I nodded, slightly confused by her slightly pink face. Robin grabbed my hand and placed something in it. I looked to see a silver bird on a chain. I looked at Robin who smiled, a single tear dribbled down her face.
"My mum gave me that when I was little, before I was trained. She told me to give it to someone I cared about. See the bird is a dove and in my family a dove represents love, to be bound by fate and a link to see another again… Aladdin…" Robin said with a smile.
"Yeah…" I felt Robin press her lips against my cheek. She quickly jumped onto the dragon and grabbed the reins on it.
"Be careful! Remember Neathia and Magnostadt are allies so I won't be too far away if something happens! BYE ALADDIN!" With that Robin flew off on the dragon. I blinked a couple of times then pressed a hand to my cheek. I felt my face get warm… R-Robin j-just…. I led down on my turban. I smiled and remembered mine and Alibaba's conversation from on the way back to the inn last night.
Flash back
A slightly grumpy Alibaba walked along side me and I sighed. All of a sudden Alibaba's face came really close.
"What's up Aladdin, missing a certain someone?" Alibaba said in a drunken voice. My eyes widened and I began to panic.
"N-N-N-No! O-of course not!" I stuttered. Alibaba smiled and wiped the drunken look of his face. Hi hands went to the back of his head.
"You're thinking of Robin, right?" I looked at him slightly shocked.
"W-what!? What made you think that Alibaba!?" Alibaba chuckled.
"Hehe… A lot of things have got me thinking… the lot of us separating… I found myself drifting back to the first time I saw you two. You were stuck to each other like glue. I was wondering what would happen between you two as you're really close… hehe…You're really lucky Aladdin. She seems to care about you a lot… I hope I can find someone like that."

You were right Alibaba… I am lucky to have someone like her….
