Magi: The Journey of a Guardian

One-shot (OC x Aladdin, RobinXAladdin)

HI! Before I get fully into Robin's solo I'm gonna treat you to a bit of future RobinxAladdin! Hehe so this is set after the great battle at Magnostadt! ANYWHO YOU GUYS KNOW THE DEAL NOW. Also thanks to Kohana-san for the really nice review! Apologies if Aladdin is a little OCC

Aladdin's POV

It was the day after we returned to Sindria and the party. As usual Sindbad placed us; Mor, Alibaba, Robin and Myself in the room we used to sleep in. But…

"Aladdin, you don't think Darius is still making Robin do her brother's paperwork?" Alibaba asked, lying down on our bed. I shrugged. We all knew she had been sent a lot of work…

Knock Knock

The door opened revealing Darius. (AN: you will meet him in chapter 14)

"Haha Speak of the devil and he shall appear! Oi Darius where's Robin?" Darius sighed, he seemed to resemble Ja'far ever so slightly when his member of royalty was mentioned in conversation.

"I came to say that Robin will join you later. She's blowing off some steam after something her brother attempted to request…" Darius then pulled out what looked like the same device Yam-san gave to me.

"Yes King Leo?"

"DARIUS PUT MY SISTER ON! MY WIFE IS GONNA KILL ME! HOW DID SHE FIND OUT?" Leo's voice yelled from the orb. Leo had a wife!? I looked at Alibaba, who looked at Mor.

"I apologize King, please bear with it until tomorrow. Robin has requested that I refuse to let you talk to her. You seemed to have offended her greatly. Until Tomorrow my King. May you survive your queen's punishment."

"WAIT DARIUS! PLEASE I RE-"Darius sighed.

"Oi, Oi what happened?" Alibaba asked. Darius sighed again and sat down on a chair, raking a hand through his hair.

"King Leo suggested Robin would marry someone in Ream or Kou. She went mental at him and informed his wife who respect Robin's wishes. So now our king is finding himself in a rather unpleasant situation and Robin is not in the best of moods so she has gone somewhere to do something to blow off some steam." Darius said with a groan.

"Robin was almost forced into an arranged marriage!?" Darius nodded.

"I'll go find her!" I volunteered. Alibaba and Darius looked worried.

"Aladdin you know how Robin can get like…."
"Aladdin-sama, please be careful. I don't know if she had been drinking or not and that seems to slightly affect her mood…" I nodded, grabbing my turban I jumped out the window.

I sat on my turban flying around Uncle Sindbad's palace when I spotted Robin on the roof of one of the towers. She seemed to be looking between the sky and something on her lap.

"Robin!" I yelled as I flew closer. She turned and smiled.

"Hi Aladdin…" She then looked back to what was in her lap. I flew over to her and landed on the roof but lost my balance. I felt Robin grab my wrist and pull me forwards so I wouldn't fall. Robin sat back down and I noticed the scroll next to her.

"What are you doing?" I asked, sitting next to her. Robin sighed, pulling her hair out of its usual long brown ponytail. Her hair fell down to her waist.

"Blowing off steam my own way. I decided while in Neathia not to resort to violence to calm myself so I took up something I used to do every now and then in my old world." Robin said pulling the scroll onto her lap. In her hand was a writing instrument of some sort.

"Ehhh? What do you mean?" I asked trying to look at the scroll. Robin smiled.

"Star gazing, more specifically constellations. Basically where you can see the star make a picture. In my old world throughout history heroes and other things were given spaces in the stars. Leo-nii allowed me to create constellations for the skies of this world, so we can remember those who have fought bravely…" Robin said, looking at the sky with a smile.

"Really?! Have you made any?" Robin laughed.

"Only two. I'm hoping to make more in the future." Robin looked at me with a wide grin.

Robin grabbed my hand and extended my index finger. I looked to where she was pointing.

"Watch and tell me who you think the picture I draw looks like." Robin whispered in my ear. I felt my cheeks warm slightly. Robin guided my finger from star to star until I saw an image form…

"Isn't that…?" Robin let go and nodded.

"Kassim. I made it for Alibaba. He fought bravely in Balbaad and I thought we should remember him in a special way. It's summer now so every summer in the night sky in the future you can find him in the sky. I also managed after several weeks in the winter managed to make Solomon's star. "Robin said showing me it on the scroll. I looked to see several dots and lines connecting to make the star. A date was written in the corner.

"Wow… Robin… Are you okay…? Darius…" Robin sighed, placing her head in her hands.

"I should have known he would have told you. Leo-nii suggested that I marry someone from Ream or Kou to prevent further fights but I refused and got slightly angry so I informed his wife who has similar viewpoints on life to me. I would imagine right now Leo-nii is going through a lot of pain… emotionally that is. Basically I told him I could not. I said I wasn't going for the throne and it is for his unborn child."
"WAIT! Leo's queen is…"
"Yes… I don't want internal strife between myself and my brother's heir. So I told him I was going to remain by your side as your Guardian as it is my fated duty. Anyway, How are you, I've been loaded with paperwork and I haven't got to speak to you much." Robin asked.

I smiled and explained what I had been doing, what had happened to Alibaba. Robin laughed and led down on the roof. Her hand extended, reaching to touch the stars.

"Ne, Aladdin do you still have it?" Robin asked.

"Yes, I placed it on a chain, look!" I showed robin the silver dove she gave me on the day we separated. Robin smiled, a blush coated her cheeks.

"D-Do you remember what I told you what it meant." Robin asked, I saw her face grow red.

"It represents love, to be bound by fate and a link to see each other again" I said. Robin sighed.

"Sometimes I really hate being as mature as I am…" I heard her mutter. I bushed remembering what she had done that day. Maybe…. Like Solomon and her…. Maybe….

I then realised how close we had gotten all of a sudden.

"A-Aladdin?" Robin blushed and looked away slightly. I felt my own check heat up. Robin placed her hand on my own.

"Robin?" Robin sat up and rested her forehead against mine. It felt warm.

Aladdin I'm sorry for not telling you everything…But I can show it to you…

Images flashed before my eyes.

Another world, there was no magic, humans were the only intelligent race. Images flickered, Robin when she was younger with her elder sister and brother. Her sister's death, the numerous people she had to slay to live… the results of her mother's death… Her joining the rest of her race trying to be like them… Her isolating herself… Turning to learning and cultures for an answer… the day she was dragged to this world… meeting the caravan… meeting me, Alibaba and Mor… learning the truth about her family… Balbaad, Sindria, Neathia, Akita, Ream, Magnostadt… Amon…Zagan… Her time in Neathia… the battle… the visions she had been having…

It then stopped and I could see again. Robin's eyes were closed, her body shaking slightly. I grabbed hold of her with both hands.

"Robin are you okay!?" I asked. Robin opened her eyes and smiled.

"Just a little tired. Using that takes a lot out of you." Robin said.

"Thank Solomon."

"Aren't you missing a couple of names there?" Robin chuckled. I sighed.

"Maybe I don't want to list all of them, it would take to long." I moaned. Robin laughed causing our heads to crash together.

"AH I'm sorry Aladdin! Are you okay?" Robin asked, her face extremely close. My cheeks now felt like they were on fire. It took a second and Robin's brown orbs widened slightly and her face grew red. I felt our faces get closer, I closed my eyes. I felt something soft against my own lips. My eyes snapped open to see Robin, her eyes closed, our lips pressed together. I quickly drew away. My mind a mess. Sure I liked girls but Robin….. Robin's eyes opened and her face became even redder and she hid her face with her hands. It then clicked in my head. Robin rejecting marriage, the dove, why my heart beats faster when it's just the two of us…. I…

"Robin… I…" Robin turned to face me, removing the hands covering her face.

"M-Me too…" Robin muttered.

Robin?

What…?

Can we do that again…?

I felt Robin press her lips against mine again, after a couple of minuets we drew apart. Robin smiled and leaned into me.

"I feel a lot better now."

"Do you want to go back to Alibaba and Mor?" I asked. She shook her head.

"Not just yet…" I watched Robin's eyes go blank for a second and then they refocused, her face turning bright crimson.

"What did you see?" I asked.

"I'm not telling until you get slightly older…" Eh?

"WHY?" I complained.

"I don't think you'll be able to handle it just yet… maybe once we get rid of Al Thamen…" Robin said with a slight smile.

"I wanna know!" Robin leaned close and whispered in my ear, my whole face felt like it was on fire. (I'll leave what Robin saw in her vision of the future to your imagination dear readers!)

"I think I want to go back now…" Robin said collecting her things. I pulled out my turban and we sat on it together, holding hands. Robin rested her head against the crook of my neck. Alibaba is not going to be happy if he finds out…..

That's it! Hope you enjoyed it!
