Chapter 16: The Battle for the future

Last time…

Robin's POV

Everyone looked at each other as soon the area was fully of metal vessel users.

"Hime?!" I turned to my fellow comrades and smiled.

"Darius, Lisanna. I want you to aid the magicians in Magnostadt. Godwin."

"Yes?"

"I give you permission to assimilate." Godwin grinned at my words.

"HAHA AT LAST! I WILL FIGHT WITH YOU TILL THE END MY PRINCESS!" I sighed and nodded at Aladdin, who nodded back.

"EVERYONE LETS GO! TO MAGNOSTADT!"

Current events

Robin's POV

As we got to Magnostadt, All we could see was devastation. Alibaba went on ahead while I stayed at Aladdin's side. The boys looked in shock as Kou defeated several djinns. Lisanna, Darius and Godwin grinned at me and gave me a questioning look. I smiled at Aladdin.

"Alibaba Look after him a bit." I said as the four of us took to the air.

Darius raised his sword and smirked at a black Djinn.

"Household vessel: Azzel Kon!" Darius bellowed as ice covered his sword, forming a huge ice blade which was brought down on a several black djinns, causing them to vanish.

Lisanna and I sighed and gripped our staffs. Lisanna nodded towards myself. I raised my staff above me.

Aladdin's Pov

Alibaba and I watched as the knights of Neathia brought down djinn after djinn along with Kou. Kouha appeared next to us.

"Oi, How come that princess girl has the same magic as Mei-nii?" He asked, slicing down a djinn.

I looked at him confused.

"What do you-"

"Aladdin behind you!" Alibaba yelled as a djinn appeared behind me.

Ohhhh Solomon.

"Ramz Issen!" Robin yelled. With a flicker of white light the Djinn disappeared, revealing an annoyed Robin. She smacked her staff on my head.

"Ow!" Robin frowned at my outburst.

"How many times do I have to tell you not to get into trouble!?" Robin said with a sigh.

"O-oi…. How come the djinns have stopped moving around us?" Alibaba asked. Robin looked around and laughed.

"Oh just some time and space combination magic that I'm using. Right then… HalHarl Issen!" Robin yelled and several pillars of fire erupted around us, burning all the frozen Djinns.

Kouha, Alibaba and I looked on in shock. Robin grinned at our faces.

"Come on! We still have to stop the medium!" She said with a slightly annoyed face, pointing to the spherical mass of black djinns.

"Aladdin!? How do we defeat this medium!?"

"Well-" I began.

"Aladdin, please don't say that, everyone will become downhearted." Robin said.

"But it's true though! By the time there are ten thousand djinns the barrier will break!" I exclaimed to Robin, throwing my hands in the air.

"TEN THOUSAND!? With our magoi….that's…" Kouha whispered.

With that Kouen began tearing through djinn after djinn.

"Wow…" I muttered.

"That's your fault you know." Robin muttered

What have I gotten myself into…? I thought across our mental link.

Trouble… lots of it… Robin replied

Kouen then used Agares to tap into the lava veins in the ground, boosting his magoi which allowed him to continue to use his fire djinn.

"Yep defiantly due to what you promised. Aladdin, I told you not to." Robin muttered as Kouen roared, continuously hacking djinn after djinn. I groaned. He then snatched Alibaba and dragged him somewhere. Robin sighed.

"Your brother needs to be a bit more dignified. Honestly…" Robing muttered, freezing several demons and with a click of her fingers they were ash. Kouha elbowed me in the chest.

"Your Princess guardian girl is scary…" He muttered.

"She was an assassin in the past so I can see why you think that…" I muttered.

"Ah so there going to do that…" Robin mused as Kouha and I looked on in shock.

"They're going to fire two extreme magic at the same time!" I yelled.

Astaroth's flames burned the outer djinns while Amon's flames smashed the connection. All of a sudden Robin paled beside me.

"Shit…" She muttered.

"Robin?" I asked.

I watched as Robin took a deep breath and her eyes seemed to shine.

"DARIUS! GODWIN!" Robin yelled and the two nodded.

"I am of the household of Azzazel…" Darius chanted
"I am of the household of Metatron…" Godwin began…

I looked towards Robin who raised her left hand and Solomon's star appeared on it.

"Aladdin look, the medium's stopped moving!?" Alibaba yelled. I looked toward Robin to see her breathing heavily.

"Robin are you okay!?" I asked. She smiled.

"Yeah just fine… That was sarcasm by the way." She muttered, her arms began to shake.

"You clearly-"With that she was thrown back into a pillar.

"ROBIN!?" I yelled. I was about to go after her when someone grabbed my arm.

"She'll be fine. Our Princess and your guardian is stronger than you think." The woman called Lisanna said. All of a sudden the medium swallowed all the black djinns and absorbed the magoi in the lava. I saw Robin slowly rise from the rubble, there was a gash on her forehead, causing blood to trickle down across her right eye. She glared at the medium, bloodlust evident in her eyes. Kouha and Alibaba shivered at the look. The medium changed to a humanoid shape and I gulped. Robin rose, returning to my side. Shat spat out a small amount of blood from her mouth.

"Shit. I hope they assimilated alright…" She muttered and I looked to see Darius, his eyes and hair ice blue with demonic icy wings and ice armour. His ears had become pointed and he now had fangs. Hit now cat-like pupils shone with confidence. On the other hand, Godwin looked like some angelic paladin with three pairs of white wings. The two nodded, grinning like mad. Robin leaned into me. And I instinctively wrapped an arm round her waist.

"Thank Solomon… Aladdin warn everyone…" She whispered. I nodded.

"EVERYONE! IF SOMETHING IS TOUCHED BY THE MEDIUM… NO MATTER IF IT'S FLAMES, BIRDS OR EVEN PEOPLE… THEY WILL HAVE THEIR MAGOI TAKEN AWAY AND DIE! DON'T LET IT GET INTO THE CITY!" I yelled. I watched as a pale green light lit up Robin's free hand and she placed her hand near her head, the gash healed along with her sudden tiredness.

"Healing magic?" I asked and she nodded.

Do you need help?

For a bit, thank you Aladdin…

With that everything began to spiral out of control. Kouen was gravely injured, Kou's violent attack, the two assimilated household members of Neathia attacked as well, the absorbing of magoi from the Ocean, the injuring of the Kou king vessels, all the attacks going to waste.

"Lisanna… How long till then get here, when did I predict…?" Robin asked weakly.

"Not for another couple of minutes…" Lisanna said gravely. I watched Robin close her eyes. Robin stood by herself and glared at the connection that had been re-established. She span her staff a couple of times and held it out in front of her.

"Alya's Sight!... HalHarl….Ramz…. Flash… Zorf… Sharrar… Asfal… Hadika… Rea... Thalg…" Robin muttered, a huge mass of invisible energy surrounded Robin. It then formed into a white, pulsing sphere. Robin glared at the connection and the mass amount of hands around it. She pulled back her staff and slammed it against the white sphere causing it to form a huge beamed, hurtling towards the connection. It slammed into the borgs but they shattered and then hands were obliterated as well as the connection.

"Control…" Robin muttered and using two fingers motioned for the beam to go back on itself which it did. The beam curved around and smashed a huge whole into the medium and it disappeared. Robin breathed heavily and gave a thumbs up towards me.

"I'm to going to let that happen!" She said with confidence. CRACK! A huge Lightning bolt hit the medium. BANG! A Huge arrow of Light pierced the Medium soon after.

Robin grinned.

"Finally!" She exclaimed with a huge smile on her face, her eyes filled with the light of hope.

"BARARAQ SAIQA!" Sindbad yelled.

"METRON AL-FLASH-ISSEN!" Leo yelled. I looked at Robin who smiled. Above us appeared the Seven Seas Alliance as well as the Neathia Royal Household.

"Yam-san! Drakon!" I exclaimed.

"Brother you took too long!" Robin yelled.

"Thank you for gathering us Yunan." Sindbad said with a smile. Leo frowned.

"We only came due to my sister's vision, But Hey… At least we can get a job done." Leo chuckled in Metatron's Djinn Equip; A light amour which shone like a sun, Eight pairs of Angelic wings with pale blue tattoos covering his body and an intricately decorated light bow held in his hand.

"I'm glad we made it in time… I was worried…" Yunan said with a calm smile.

"H-Have we….Won….!?" Alibaba whispered before his Djinn equip disappeared. He then began to plummet towards the ocean.

"Alibaba!" I yelled but Robin held me back.

"Don't worry Aladdin. I warned a certain somebody that this might happen." Robin said with a wink. I looked on in Shock at who caught him.

"Are you alright? Alibaba?" A familiar female fanalis asked.

"M-M-M-M-M-M-M-MO-MORGIANA!?" Alibaba yelled. She smiled.

"Yes!" She said with a smile coming towards Robin and I.

"Thank you for the forewarning Robin." Morgiana said with a smile.

"I wasn't joking Mor when I said I could see into the future." Robin said, winking at her.

The members of the Seven seas alliance equipped their djinns while their household assimilated. The Household members grew to huge sizes, Including Darius and Godwin and Acantha.

"A-Are all household members capable of doing that?" Alibaba asked. Robin nodded.

"These Household members have assimilated with their Household, giving them large amounts of power at the cost of part of their Humanity." Robin explained.

"Incredible… I will become like that in the future." Mor stated. Robin frowned as well as Yunan.

"I don't suggest for you to become one, Morgiana." Yunan said.

"Sorry more but I have to agree. It's kind of a last resort." Robin said, nodding her head wistfully.

"But I want to become stronger!" With that Mor took off using her household.

"Yunan…?" Robin asked, causing him to nod and her to sigh.

"O-Oi is she going to be-" Alibaba started but Robin clapped his should.

"Alibaba, Its fine." Robin said with a reassuring smile.

"She's right. It will be alright Alibaba." Yunan said.

Sindbad growled at the Guardian Magi of the great rift. Leo mock punched Sindbad.

"Lighten up Sin, She didn't learn all of it from him. Robin taught her for a bit." Leo said. Alibaba, Sindbad and I looked at Robin, who started rubbing the back of her neck in a bashful motion.

"Hehe Caught red handed…" She muttered.

The household vessels combined their power and destroyed the barrier, Along with the Laem king vessels help. Due to Scheherazard's sacrifice, everyone regained their magoi.

Cries of "Extreme Magic" Could be heard from every djinn user. The combination of the magic blasted the medium yet… it still remained.

"W-What should we do!?" Alibaba yelled. Instantly the medium froze.
"He did it!" Robin yelled with a smile "It's tainted. Mogamett is hesitating!"

Everyone looked at Robin confused, except Aladdin…

"You mean that…?" Robin gave her Magi a sad smiled and nodded. I closed my eyes and nodded.

"I'm going." I said, walking towards the medium. Robin fell into step besides me.

"Where you go, I go." She said with a smile, her hand slowly beginning to glow.

"Where? Where are you two going?" Yunan asked.

"Inside the Medium." Robin stated.

"To meet with the chancellor's ruhk. I will bring him back…"

"Aladdin!" Yam yelled.

"Miss Yam?" I asked.

"Bring me with you!" She said.

She's his adoptive daughter Aladdin, she may be able to help. Robin's voice sounded in my mind. I nodded.

"Robin! Miss Yam! Let's go!" I yelled, my star of Solomon appeared and glowed in sync with Robin's.

"Alya's Sight!"

"Solomon's Wisdom!"

Robin's POV

"What is this place?" Yam asked.

"This is inside of the Chancellor's ruhk. But… it seems that it's just not that." Aladdin said. I muttered a few words under my breath and a pale light surrounded us. The two turned to me.

"Just something to protect us." I said with a smile.

The tortured screams of those who fell and were used for the medium chorused, surrounding Mogamett. A light appeared by the despairing man.

"I knew it. You were the one who stopped him… Titus…" Aladdin whispered. The old magician began to cry, to apologise for his actions.

"Chancellor… I'm sorry that I said those bad things before the war…" Aladdin apologised

"Aladdin… I have a request…. Research a way for the black ruhk to return to their white state." The wizened magician asked.

"Princess Nejem, I also have a request for you… Please may Magnostadt become a part of your empire… We were always allies…. Do not let it fall…" I smiled.

"Of course, I will stop Kou and the alliance and Laem form taking Magnostadt." I answered causing him to smile weakly.

Yam said her words to Mogamett and soon it was time. Mogamett disappeared.

I could tell the Medium was breaking. I felt a shift in the balance and I smiled as it was slowly returning to its original state.

We then woke up. Yam cried while Aladdin looked at me, his eyes watering. I pulled him into a hug.

He gripped my clothes, hugging back. Alibaba and Mor looked on, worried.

Then there were four groups: The Seven Seas Alliance, Kou, Laem and Neathia. The Kings faced off with each other. It was revealed Sindbad wanted Magnostadt. I stood up and walked away from Aladdin and Stood in front of Sindbad.

"Hmm? Robin, what are you doing?" He asked. I glared up at Sindbad. I slammed my staff into the ground and drew my knife.

"Sindbad, as First Princess of Neathia I am telling you to back down. Not only you but Kouen as well. Matal, before disappearing, gave his Country to Neathia. And also, for two of you to threaten our Alliance. Are you both insane!?" I bellowed, causing him to take a couple of steps back. Kouen grabbed Aladdin.

"Then I'm taking this Magi. You promised me, right?" Kouen said. I clicked my fingers and he dropped Aladdin and glared at me. I smirked at him, my cold eyes meeting his.

"He promised you information, not his being." I said in a cold voice.

It was then after the appearance of Titus, the new Magi, that all was sorted.

A meeting was to be arranged for the sharing of information, a summit. Magnostadt became a part of the Neathian Empire and was rebuilt. Their level of citizenship banished and new regimes formed with a small similarity to Neathian Rules.

So I helped personally with the re-building of Magnostadt, and now Aladdin and I were on a boat bound for Sindria.

"Aladdin, Robin! We've arrived." Alibaba declared. Darius Smiled after his assimilation he was left with his new eye and hair colour, pointed ears and fangs and a small pair of icy wings. We were welcomed by everyone.

"Welcome back. We've heard everything from Sin. Robin is that… Paperwork you're doing?" Ja'far asked. I looked up from my scroll and smiled.

"Yes, before I can join the celebrations, I need to get this done. I have to write reports on the war, legions, the medium and the re-building of Magnostadt. You'll be pleased to know my advisor, Darius, helps me with it." I said with a smile. Ja'far began yelling at Sin saying he should follow my example. I laughed. I walked over to Mor and Aladdin who were watching Alibaba.

"Feeling left out" I asked, while writing.

Both shook their heads and I smiled.

"Right then, that's done. I'll see you two later. Paperwork calls." I said, poking my tongue out making them laugh.

"Bye Robin, Have fun." Aladdin said, causing me to laugh.

"Yeah if your definition of fun is writing several reports which takes hours." I laughed.
