July 7th; Nina's birthday, as well as Joy's birthday; and it was being celebrated in the dining room. The two girls were laughing with their friends and opening presents. But Joy wasn't completely happy. Mick wasn't there. She frowned and looked around the room, stabbing her fork into her cake and then shoving a scoop into her mouth.

Where was he? He was her boyfriend, he should be there. She didn't even get a present from him.

Nina and Fabian sat across the room, laughing about something he'd said about the night sky. Alfie and Amber were eating their cake; Alfie in the messiest way possible, while Amber ate in the most lady-like way. Patricia and Eddie were bickering in their considered 'playful' way. And Jerome and Mara were playing one of their infamous games of chess, where they'd sit there for hours at a time and try to beat the other while chatting without a care in the world.

They were true couples; able to be around the other and do anything, and not be annoyed by the other. And they were always there for one another. They truly loved each other. So, why wasn't her boyfriend here?

"Hey, babes,"

Joy turned around and smiled at Mick, who hid in the hallway. He motioned for her to follow him and he walked down the hallway to his bedroom. She did as he instructed and shut the door behind her. He pecked her on the lips quickly and held a purple bag out to her with a sheepish grin.

"Sorry it took so long," he said as she took the present from him.

She pulled the tissue paper away and gasped. She pulled a ratty, old bunny with floppy ears and one eye missing out of the bag.

"I thought you could use him as a sort of 'replacement' for Bunsybun. Like, a Bunsybun 2.0," He shrugged. "He used to be mine."

"Oh, Mick, you're so sweet!" she giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck and his wound around her waist instantly.

"You like him then?" he asked into her hair.

"I love him, thank you so much!" she practically squealed, kissing his cheek.

I'm gonna answer all the reviews in the last chapter; and I'll be doing that with all my stories from now on. :)

H20xSpelboundfanx: So...you want Poppy to show up? Could you please be more specific. I can't just shove Poppy in there somewhere; I need a prompt.
