Hey, HOC is back! :P

Enjoy!

Jerome laid back on the soft rug and grinned as he stretched his arms above his head. The flames that flickered in the fireplace before him warmed him and cast dancing shadows on the wall of the common room. His shimmering blue eyes darted to the doorway as his wife entered the room.

"Oh my god, why am I so lucky?" he breathed, forcing him to stand from his comfortable position so he could wrap her up in his embrace.

Mara's arms wound around his bare shoulders as he kissed her neck. "What about me? I'm far too lucky."

Jerome chuckled, taking her hands and leading her to sit down on the rug. He handed her a glass of red wine and pecked her cheek. "You are the definition of beauty, my dear."

"Oh no, don't call me 'my dear'." She shook her head, wrinkling her nose.

"Why ever not?" he asked in confusion.

"That's what my father calls my mother when he's angry." She told him.

"Then what should I call you?"

"'Darling' every day." She said and set her full wineglass on the floor. "'My pearl' on Sundays,"

"And what should I call you when I'm angry? Mrs. Clarke?" he suggested.

"No, you should only call me Mrs. Clarke when you're incredibly, utterly, undeniably happy."

Jerome set his wineglass on the floor beside hers and leaned his face close to hers as his hand cupped her cheek. "I love you, Mrs. Clarke." he said quietly.

Mara smiled as he pressed a kiss to her flushing cheek.

"Mrs. Clarke," he said again and kissed her other cheek.

"Mrs. Clarke," he said and he kissed her nose.

"Mrs. Clarke," he repeated, kissing her forehead.

"Mrs. Clarke," he breathed out in a loving, gentle whisper as he finally let his lips land on hers. Mara smiled into the kiss and threaded her fingers into his gloriously soft hair.

"What should I call you?" she inquired in a tiny whisper, her warm breath ghosting over his lips.

"You can call me anything you'd like, Mrs. Clarke." he replied and brought her lips back to his.

Hehe, it might've been short, but I really liked this one.

So, PROMPT! I'll try to do them tonight if I get any...
