Shorter than the last one, but whatevs... This was prompted by TooBusyBeingAnAwkoTaco! :) Now, I've never played the Flappy Bird app, but I've played the online version before. So...that'll make sense in a second...

Enjoy!

Patricia adjusted her earbuds, sitting in a chair backed up against the walls, and her eyes able to see anything and everything around her phone. She swiped her thumbs over the screen, appearing to be texting from a glance, but she was playing Angry Birds.

As the four pigs on the screen collapsed, Patricia's eyes darted to Eddie as he marched toward her with a lopsided grin on his face. Quickly, she paused the game and her screen went black with the push of a button. She looked up at him and pulled out one of her earbuds as he sat next to her in another chair.

"Who're you listening to?" he asked, pulling a sandwich out of his bag, wrapped in clear wrap.

"Sick Puppies, who else?" she scoffed. She glared at him as he stuffed his mouth with saucy meatballs.

Eddie nodded and licked his fingers clean, drying them on his uniform trousers. "Here, let me see your phone. I'll introduce you to a new band I found."

"Just tell me who they are, Slimeball, and I'll look them up myself." She said, holding her phone out of his reach.

"What, Yacker, are you afraid I'll find out you've been cheating on me?" he teased, grabbing for it.

This time, he succeeded in taking it from her and switched it on. When he saw that instead of music, she was listening to the Angry Birds theme music, he looked at her with a smirk and she hid behind her hair.

"Jerk," she grumbled.

"You love me," he chuckled and reached into his bag, producing his laptop. "Now, if you like Angry Birds, you might like Flappy Bird."

"I've heard of it; it sounds so stupid and I'm not going to play it." she said and rolled her eyes. She strapped her bag over her shoulder, tugging at her own hand when Eddie clutched it to keep her from walking away.

"No, just try it," he said, his eyes pleading.

She groaned, sitting back down.

"I'm gonna show you online, just so you can test it out, but there's an app for it. We'll work our way up to that." He said with a wink in her direction.

"Whatever. Just show me so I can run away from you."

"Let's not be a coward now." He tutted and shook his head, setting his computer on her lap.

She stared at the screen with the small, round, pixelated bird that flapped its wings, bouncing in the air.

"Press the space bar to make him move up and down, but if you let go of it for too long—"

"I've got it," she snapped, already having died. She frowned and planted her chin on her left hand as she boredly pressed the space bar.

Minutes later, Eddie had finished his sandwich. He stood up and swung his satchel over his around his neck. "The bell's about to ring," he reminded his girlfriend, "Can I have my laptop back."

"In a minute," she mumbled, staring intently at the screen, hunched over as her pointer finger jabbed the space bar. "I'm at twenty-three. I can't stop now. I'm doing pretty well."

Eddie chuckled. "Can I have a kiss?"

"No, leave me alone, Weasel Face." She said, eyes following the bouncing of the bird.

"Love you, too, Yacker." He sighed, leaving the room as Patricia cursed at the computer when she died again.

Review? Prompt? I need thirteen more prompts since I'm already working on nine others. :)
