The air was thick, the bass vibrated in my chest. It was hard to breathe in the huge wave of sweaty teenagers so I decided to quickly navigate the seven seas of adolescents and go outside.
I breathed in the cold air, feeling my face slowly cool down. It was a chilly night, but still nice. The stars shined and so did the moon. Jace was hanging out with the rest of the guys in the kitchen while the girls danced, I decided to go out for a moment because as much as I love dancing, these heels won't allow me to.
I sat on some outdoor sofas while sighing, I was feeling quite tired but as long as the others are having fun, I guess I'll stick around.
People walked in and out of the house with bottles in their hands or lovers under their arms.
I closed my eyes for a bit until I heard some footsteps and they had stopped right infront of me. It must be Jace or one of the girls, I smiled and opened my eyes but it disappeared when I realized who it really was.
"Hey babe"
"I-I thought you were gone." I stuttered, my eyes widening.
"I'll never be gone. I'm always going to be one step ahead of you."
"What do you want, is there an actual reason as to why you're terrorizing me Jon?" I muttered, not looking at him in the eyes.
"I just want to see my little kitten again." He said, smirking.
"I'm not your kitten anymore, I stopped being yours after that night." I spat.
"Oh you mean the night where you decided to be a complete prude?"He said and I sighed.
"Just please leave me alone. J-jace will be here any minute and he´s going to beat you up." I stuttered and he laughed.
"I´m leaving, but you´ll see me again." He said before swiftly standing up and walked into the crowd of sweaty teens.
I sighed and bit my lip.
Asshole. I hate him. I hate him. I hate him.
We went home soon after that because Quinn started to throw up in the bathroom.
Us girls took her to her room, undressed her, took off her makeup and tucked her in with a bin right next to her just in case she needs to puke.
The girls all went to sleep after that while I just sat on the couch watching MTV hits.
"Hey babe, what you doing?" I heard Jace say as he sat next to me and I smiled at him and lay my head on his lap.
"Just thinking." I said.
"While Shia LaBeouf is in a cage?" He asked and I chuckled as Elastic Heart by Sia played in the background.
"What´s gonna happen when we go back home? And when school starts?" I asked him
"What do you mean?" He asked me, looking confused
"I mean... You and I." I explained.
"Well, what is there to happen? It´s you and me baby, we won´t let people get in between us." He said before leaning down to plant a small kiss on my lips.
"Are you sure?" I asked him.
"Of course." He assured me.
"But what if you start to like other girls and then leave me?" I sighed.
"Babygirl, you can´t get rid of me that easily." He said before softly biting my bottom lip.
He then sat back on the couch and watched Bruno Mars dance to Uptown Funk.
"I never said that I´d be the one to get rid of you." I mumbled and he sighed.
"Why are you talking like this? What happened?" He exclaimed.
"I´m just curious! What if it all goes back to how it was? There´s so many girls after you Jace." I whined.
"Clary, listen to me. You´re the one I want. Those girls got nothing on you." He said.
"Are you sure?" I whispered.
"Positive." He said before kissing my forehead.
I´m not...
