Author: Hmm... I am not satisfied with this...
Aki: With what? The story?
Author: No. THERE AREN'T ANY NEW VOTES SINCE I UPDATED THE LAST CHAPTER!
Aki: HUH?! You can't be serious!
Author: ARGH! I know I said the poll will be up until I finish this story, but that doesn't mean they have to wait until the end to put up their votes! Ugh! *falls on sofa* Seven votes is not enough. I want to hear and know everyone's opinion about having the next story be a multi-cross.
Xion: Maybe it's because they have a different opinion on the multi-cross.
Author: Like what?
Xion: Like instead of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, they want a different anime or manga or show.
*SILENCE*
Aki: That might be true.
Author: IF THAT'S THE CASE, THEY SHOULD'VE JUST SAID SO INSTEAD OF NOT PICKING A VOTE ON MY POLL!
Xion: Graviga
Author: *affected by spell and head slammed onto the floor, knocked out*
Aki: Do you really need to do that?
Xion: It's what she get for the last chapter. She made me die.
Aki: *laughs nervously* If only you know what happens in this chapter.
Xion: What was that?
Aki: Nothing. Anyway, partial credit goes to EvanderAdvent and kingdom cure does not own One Piece and Kingdom Hearts.
Last time:
"That sandstorm-casting monster is finally dead!"
"We avenged the deaths of our dear ones!"
"Banzai!"
Getting up, I decided to return my Dream Eaters and go back to my nakama, since it seemed that the Heartless gave up. Just when I turned my back, I had a horrible feeling crawling up my spine. I turned and saw that the Heartless moved its head.
"Not yet!" I shouted.
"What?! It's still moving!" I heard one of the Sand Pirates question me.
As if to answer his question, the Heartless rose up into the air again. I noticed that it seemed to be struggling, for it couldn't 'stand' up straight. The next thing that happened, it summoned a sandstorm, and a powerful one. Everyone held on to whatever was near them to prevent being sucked in. I stabbed my Keyblade down in an attempt to do the same. However, being so close to the Heartless, my attempt failed and I was carried into the storm.
"Xion(-san)(-nee)!" I heard my nakama call. I tried to find a way to get down or get closer to the Heartless. However, the moment I looked at the Heartless, I noticed that, like a robot close to its destruction, electricity came out of it and its body was violently shaking. Before I knew it, it exploded, taking me and whatever was caught in its storm with it.
*GENERAL'S P.O.V*
"XION!" "XION-SAN!" "XION-NEE!" All the Straw Hat Pirates who fought the Heartless called for their missing nakama. The second after the Antlion self-destructed, they all went over to where it once was and look to see if she was there. Unfortunately, they found no trace of her, except for her seashell necklace that Chopper found.
"N-... No way..." Nami managed to say.
"X-... Xion is..." Usopp breathed, not daring himself to finish the sentence.
"That girl..." Zoro mumbled.
"Xion-swan!" Sanji cried.
"Xion-nee is... Xion-nee is..." Chopper spoke, as tears formed in his eyes.
"Oi! Guys!" came a familiar voice. "We're back! Oi!" A pair of footsteps walked towards the group. "Oi. What's wrong? Where's Xion?" No one dared to answer.
"What's wrong, everyone?" Vivi asked, only to be met by silence again.
"Oi. What happened?" Zaba asked his crew.
"Well you see... That sandstorm-causing monster came with these weird desert assassins and living pots," one of them answered.
"What?! It came?!" Rasa questioned.
"Yeah. Those pirates helped us fought, but it wasn't enough. Then their female nakama in black came after she was done with her mental training and helped us defeat them," another pirate answered.
"But when she gave the finish blow to that sandstorm monster, it formed one last storm around it and exploded, taking her with it!"
"What was that?!" Luffy asked, hearing the whole thing.
"Then, Xion is...!" Vivi spoke. Recalling what happened, the Straw Hats who were there to see the battle all cried at her death. Zoro was the exception, but he was still saddened by her death.
"Grrr... XIOOOOON!" the captain shouted in despair. Xion is no more.
*ELSEWHERE*
Somewhere in the middle of a desert is a cafe of some sort. A woman with blue curly hair in a ponytail with a bandanna and glasses came out to get rid of some garbage. Just when she was about to go back, she saw something coming towards her.
"What is that?" she wondered. It wasn't until the thing landed and skidded its way towards her that she saw that it was a girl in black. She came to a stop and the woman checked up on her, seeing that she's only barely alive
"Hey! Are you okay? Hey! Wake up! Stay with me!" the woman shouted. The wounded girl opened her eyes slightly at her. "Just wait, okay? I'm going to treat your wounds!" That was all she can say before the girl passed out on her.
Time later, after treating her wounds, the girl began to stir. She opened her ocean blue eyes and slowly sat up, only to lie back down in pain.
"You're awake," came a familiar kind voice. "I didn't think you'd wake this soon."
"Who... Who are you?" she asked the woman.
"I'm Paula, owner of the Spider Cafe."
"Spider Cafe?"
"We're in it right now in the guest room. You looked like you've been to war. Do you remember anything that happened to you?"
The girl tried to recall what happened to her before she was knocked out unconscious. "I was walking in the desert with a group of friends. Then we fought a group of strange creatures. After that, a monster came out of nowhere. We attacked it with everything we got. I think I sacrificed myself to protect them."
"Hmm. Do you remember your name?" Paula then asked.
"Shi-... Shiro?" she answered in uncertainty.
"By the sounds of it, you seem to have gotten an amnesia. Though it doesn't seem that bad, if you still remember a little about what happened to you."
"I guess. I even remember that I have some powers."
"Oh? Like what?"
Shiro raised her arm. "Cure." She was surrounded by a green aura and she felt the pain fading away. After the spell wore off, she sat back up without any problem at all. Well, almost. She sat up too fast, she got dizzy.
"Hey!" Paula managed to catch her in time. "You shouldn't have sat up that fast."
"Yeah. I noticed. Another round of Cure would do the trick. Cure." Shiro used the magic again and was healed even further. "That should do it." She was about to get up, when Paula placed her hands on her shoulders.
"You may have recovered faster, but that doesn't mean that your wounds wouldn't reopen. Besides, where will you go? Even if you do know that you have a pack to get back to, you don't know where they are or where you were heading, do you?"
"I... guess..."
"Then stay here with me for a while. There's a town called Rainbase that's quite far from here, about three to four days walk," Paula informed.
"That far? Isn't there a town closer to here?" Shiro asked.
"There is, but it's deserted. So there won't be any help there."
"Oh. Then I'll head out tomorrow. If anything, my group should be there, probably." Just when things got a little comfortable, a loud voice came shouting for the lower level.
"Paula! Where are you?! Where is my tea?! Why is there no people here?!"
"Oh? It seems my favorite customers are here," Paula said, as the voice kept on ranting about things concerning the cafe.
"I would like to help out, if that's okay with you," Shiro insisted.
"But you need to-"
"I'll be fine, as long as I don't overdo my body." Putting it that way, Paula got up and got out some clothes for her.
"We can't have you work like that. I would give you some of my clothes, but none of them seems to fit your size. These are your clothes. They only got dirtied, which is weird, considering the battle you described before you 'flew' here."
"Really? I wonder why," Shiro thought out loud, putting her clothes on. They're only black sports bra, black pants, and black coat.
After changing, she went downstairs with Paula. Once down, she saw a chubby woman with red curly hair and a big fat guy in green.
"Ah! Paula! So that's where you are! I thought something happened to you! That something happened! Something happened! Some- Hap! Some-!" the chubby woman exclaimed.
'I did not get any of what she just said,' Shiro thought.
"I was just treating a guest," Paula calmly told her.
"A guest?! Who?! Who's the guest?! The guest is who?! Who?! Who?! Who?!"
"Um... That would be me?" Shiro said out of uncertainty about the woman.
"Huh?! Who are you?! I've never seen you?! You traveler?! You a rebel?! You lost?! You stupid?! You?! You?! You?!"
'She's starting to get on my nerves here,' Shiro thought, an angry mark appearing on her head.
"Shiro. The woman with a fast mouth is Ms. Merrychristmas. The guy over there next to her is Mr. 4. They may be annoying, but they are my favorite customers. Ms. Merrychristmas, Mr. 4, this is Shiro. You could say I found her outside my cafe unconscious."
"H...e...l...l...o..." the big guy said very, very, very slowly.
'Did his speaking speed get transferred to the chubby woman? If so, that would explain the speed in speaking.'
"Yes! Hello! Nice to meet you! Hello! Hello! Hell-!Hell-!Hell-!" Ms. Merrychristmas greeted.
Just when Shiro was going to greet back, a crash was heard from outside.
"What was that just now?!" Merrychristmas asked.
"Don't tell me!" Paula rushed outside with Shiro behind her.
"Hey! Wait for me! Mr. 4! You come, too! Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!"
"Y...e...s..." Mr. 4 replies, as he slowly follows them.
When they all exited the cafe, they all saw a bunch of Bandits, Wizards and Luna Bandits Heartless, causing a havoc at the front of the cafe.
"Not these guys again. This is getting too old," Paula said.
"Huh?! Them again?! I thought we got rid of them! Got rid of them! Defeated them! Got rid! Rid! Rid!" Merrychristmas exclaimed.
"Y...e...a...h..." Mr. 4 agreed.
'Those things...' Shiro thought, as she began to remember her past experience with them, or Heartless similar to them.
"In any case, we have to get rid of them again! Get rid of them again! Again! Again! Again!" the chubby woman declared, as she went off into battle. "Mr. 4! You hurry up as well! How an idiot like you or a child like Ms. Golden Week got to be Officer Agents without any Devil Fruits is a mystery I don't think I'll ever solve!"
The moment she heard that name, Shiro's head began to hurt. 'Wha-... What the...? My head!' she thought in pain.
"What's wrong, Shiro?" Paula asked. Just when she asked that, a Wizard launched a fireball towards them. Paula noticed and knocked Shiro down with her before it hit them. As a result, Shiro hit her head hard on the floor, causing more memories to return.
"Ahh! Paula! Girl! Hey, Mr. 4! Don't just dilly-dally! Get your dog out and help us!" the blabbermouth ordered.
"R...i...g...h...t..." the slow man slowly replied, getting out his cannon. Surprisingly, it grew legs and a head came out of one side of it. "L...a...s...s...o...o... G...o..." On that order, the dog sneezed, firing cannonballs at the Heartless.
"Yes! Now it's my turn!" Ms. Merrychristmas stated, as she grew large claws on her feet and hand and she was growing a snout. "Now then! Let's show them what we Mr. 4 pair can do! What we can do! Can do! Can do!"
As the fight began, Paula tried her best to get the Heartless away from Shiro. The latter winced and clutched her head, as more memories came back to her.
'It hurts but... I remember now,' she thought, as the pain began to cease. 'Who I am, what my name is, why I'm here, and where I should be. I am-!' The moment she looked up, she saw a Heartless closing in on Paula. A weapon appeared in her hand and she cut it down.
"Paula!" she called, getting her attention. "After this, I'll take my leave. Thanks for taking care of me. But now, allow me to do what I want and fight with you guys!"
Seeing her conviction in her eyes, Paula nodded. "Sure. I just wish my partner is here. He'll easily cut these guys like butter."
"A swordsman, huh? I have a friend- No, a nakama who uses three swords. Since they're not here at the moment, we'll have to do what we can against these guys on our own."
"I couldn't agree more." Just then, two of the Wizards casted thunder magics onto them. Luckily, the two female fighters evaded it and took them both out; Shiro with her unusual weapon and Paula impaling it with her arm. When the two Heartless dissipated, to Shiro surprise, a spike formed from the arm Paula used to kill it.
"What?" Paula asked, noticing her stare.
"Are you by any chance a Devil Fruit user?" she asked.
"Why yes I am. I ate the Toge Toge no mi. Making me a spike human. With it, I grow spikes on any part of my body, and turn any body part entirely into a spike, as you can see."
"Hmm. And I guess your partner has a power similar to that?" Shiro questioned, as the two female continue to take out Heartless.
"Sort of. He possesses the power of the Supa Supa no mi, which allows his body to gain characteristics of a steel blade to attack opponents with."
"Making him a blade human?"
"In a way, yes."
"And what about Ms. Merrychristmas and Mr. 4's dog?"
"Ms. Merrychristmas has the power of the Mogu Mogu no mi, making her a mole human and Mr. 4's cannon ate the Inu Inu no mi, Model: Dachshund." Paula noticed Shiro's confused look towards her when she said that it was originally a cannon. "No one knows how, but apparently, non-living objects can also eat Devil Fruits. I'm not sure if it's only for Zoan-Types, though."
"I see."
'This information is just about enough,' Shiro then thought.
"Now let me ask about you," Paula spoke. "You seem to have regain your memories. So what is that weapon in your hand?"
"I don't really know. I know it's mine, but I don't know what kind of weapon it is or what it's called," she half-lied.
"Then next question: before you got seperated from your allies, where were you going and why?"
"Yuba, to join the Rebel Army."
"Oh? So you also won't forgive the king for what he has done."
"Personally speaking, yes. Any more questions?"
"Is Shiro really your name?"
"... Yeah. Shiro is my name."
Accepting the answer, the two girls brought their complete focus onto the Heartless. As they did, Shiro often caught several glimpses on the Mr. 4 pair's fighting style. Ms. Merrychristmas was digging holes and Mr. 4 was hiding in those holes. At first she thought they were waiting for them to fall in so they cant assault them. It was proven wrong when Lassoo sneezed out a baseball. Mr. 4 popped out of one the holes near it and swung a bat at it. A couple of seconds later, THE BALL EXPLODED, DESTROYING THE HEARTLESS NEAR IT! Shiro was slightly shocked at this, she almost got beheaded by a Bandit, had it not been for Paula.
"Don't get distracted," she said to her.
"Huh? Oh! Sorry," she apologized. "Didn't think that the dog's baseball would blow up like that."
"Yeah. I was surprised when I saw that as well. Then again, Lassoo was a bazooka."
"I see." Ending the conversation, they went back to focusing on the battle at hand.
There were a couple of times when Mr. 4 accidentally hit the ball towards Shiro. Thankfully, she reacted fast enough to hit it back towards the Heartless. Not to mention when she often slipped inside of one of the holes dug by Ms. Merrychristmas while attacking or dodging a Heartless, mostly by coincidence. And due to that, she got a "What do you think you're doing?! Don't get in my way! How can you fall inside of one of my holes?! Are you stupid?! You must be stupid! You stupid! Stupid! Stu-! Stu-!" Shiro then retaliates with a "It's your fault for digging a hole under me and getting in my way! And don't call me 'Stew'!" After that, she jumps out of the hole and let her anger out on any Heartless near her.
Taking out the last of the Heartless, Shiro dismissed her weapon.
"That should be the last of them," she muttered.
"Yes, it should," Paula agreed. "Thanks for helping out, Shiro, Ms. Merrychristmas, Mr. 4, Lassoo."
"It's no problem!" the mole woman replied.
"S...u...r...e...t...h...i...n...g..." the slowpoke slowly followed.
"Well then, I should take my leave," Shiro said. "It was nice fighting with you guys, but I have a group to get back to."
"Oh. Okay," the chubby mole woman simply said.
"By the way, about the Rebel Army. I heard they are no longer in Yuba," Paula told her.
"Huh?! No way... Hmm... Then I guess I can stop by at Rainbase."
"Huh?! Are you crazy?! That place is far! At least three days walk from here! You crazy! Crazy! Craz-!"
"I have ways to get there in less than three days!" Shiro interrupted. "Anyway, I don't feel like joining the war now. If I find my crowd, they should be exiting from Yuba, knowing that the army is no longer there. There isn't much time 'til war, so there's no point in joining." Silence follwed after that short little speech. "Well, anyway, I should get going. I'm sure that we will meet again." With that, Shiro took her leave.
"If you ever come back, you can bring your friends with you!" Paula shouted.
"See you!" Ms. Merrychristmas waved, as does Mr. 4.
"Bye!" she waved back.
"You know, I can't help but feel like I've seen that coat she's wearing! I wonder why!" Ms. Merrychristmas then said.
As Shiro looks ahead, she had on a serious look on her face. 'When we do meet again, my nakama and I will beat you. We won't let you do as you please, Baroque Works. Also, Rainbase... Something about that name sounds weird for a town in this desert. Last I remember, this desert hasn't had any rain for three years. If anything, it should be where the mastermind of all of this is at. Knowing Luffy, once they all arrive at Yuba to know that the army is not there, he will have Vivi lead them all to over there,' Shiro, or rather, Xion, thought, dashing forward to her new destination. 'I'm coming back, guys!'
