Hi guys! This time I'm posting the chapter on time! Yay! It's a little shorter, and in my opinion confused, but I hope you'll enjoy it!
The Cursed Ring
In the manor, Piper hid behind the couch as a fireball hit the wall next to her.
-Hey! I had just cleaned there! –She said and then waved her hand, blowing up the demon that had sent the attack.
Another demon appeared behind Piper, and was about to hit her when Leo threw a potion at him.
-Leo, go upstairs! It's not safe here! –Piper shouted.
-You need help. –He answered throwing another potion at one of the 10 demons that were in the room.
Piper waved her hand and froze half of them, and then she melted them.
-Ok, who sent all those demons here? –Piper asked while blowing up another one.
-I'm sorry! It was me! –Billie shouted coming into the room and vanquishing one of the demons with her telekinesis.
-It's her! –One of them shouted and they all got ready to shoot fireballs.
-If I were you, I wouldn't do it! –Billie said showing them a ring.
-Wait! –A demon, who sounded like the leader, said. –Please don't use the ring!
-Then go away! –Billie said and all but one of the demons shimmered away. -Didn't you hear me? –She asked.
-Yes, I'm going now. –He said after waving his hand; the ring disappeared from Billie's hand and appeared on Leo's finger. –But you know the story of the ring… -He faded away.
-Oh no. –Billie said.
-What did he mean, Billie? –Piper asked.
-Uhmm… -She didn't answer.
-Tell us Billie! –Leo said worried.
-The ring is cursed; anyone who wears it will die in 48 hours unless they can find the cure.
-Please tell me you're lying. –Piper said.
-I'm sorry…
-Why were you with that ring for starters? –Leo asked.
-Phoebe was going to go on one of those cases Murphy asked you to take a look at, but I offered to go in her place so she could rest because of the baby. I followed a demon into a cave with that ring and I ended up grabbing it because I thought it might be important, and then…
-Then what? –Piper asked nervously.
-Then they fund me and followed me here, but I appeared outside the manor while they appeared inside… Before teleporting, though, I overheard them talking about the ring; it was cursed by a witch in Spain, and they stole it to use against the magical community.
-But why were they afraid of it then? –Leo asked.
-That's another curse that a witch put on them after they stole that; if the ring is broken, it will release powerful energy wave and vanquish them.
-That's very confusing… -Piper said. –But now we have to find a way to get if off Leo's finger.
-The demon who did that was not one of them, we need to find him in the Book of Shadows first.
-Fine, you'll do it while I'll find a way to contact the elders. –Piper said leaving.
Meanwhile, in Phoebe's loft, she was lying in bed talking to Coop:
-You know, we should start thinking about names for our child… -She said.
-That's an amazing idea. Since you chose PJ's name, can I choose this one?
-Yeah, sure. –Phoebe said smiling.
-Ok, if it is a boy, I think we should call him Charlie, it was my father's name, but if it is a girl, I think we should call her Paith.
-Really?
-Yeah, I know how much you wanted to keep the "p tradition"…
-Oh, thank you, baby! But now I have to go, I agreed to meet Billie in the manor, are you coming?
-Oh no, I've got some things to do, see you later. –He beamed away.
At the manor, Phoebe found Piper, Prue, Paige and Billie walking around the room.
-The book doesn't say anything about that demon, it's like he doesn't exist. –Billie said.
-And it doesn't say anything about the ring too. –Paige added.
-Do the elders know anything about it? –Prue asked.
-Yes, but nothing really useful, they said we have to find the witch who cursed it… -Piper answered.
-When did that happen? –Paige asked.
-A few hundred years ago. –Billie answered. –But it took the demons a very long time to actually steal it.
-The thing is, can we find the witch who cursed them? –Piper asked.
-Probably yes, but we'll have to scry a lot…
-I don't care. –Piper answered. –Let's do it.
-Uhm, hey guys, what is happening here? –Phoebe asked from the porch.
-It's a long story, I'll tell you on the way to the attic. –Piper said pulling Phoebe.
Later, they finally found her.
-Oh my God, we're so lucky! –Billie said. –I found her, her name is Olivia and she lives in a town nearby.
-Then let's go. –Piper said.
-No, we'll go. –Phoebe said. -You'll stay here with Leo in case the demons come back.
-What about us? –Prue and Paige asked.
-We need you to track the strange demon. –Phoebe said.
-Fine. –They all agreed and left.
After everyone was gone, Leo met Piper in their room.
-Are you ok? –He asked.
-I should be the one asking you…
-It's ok, Pipes, I know we can solve this.
-But this time we only have 24 hours, Leo, how are they gonna do it?
-They'll find a way, meanwhile, we should talk about some vacations, you've been really stressed lately… -He said smiling to her.
The next day, Phoebe and Billie left.
-So, do you wanna talk about your little backfire? –Phoebe asked in the car.
-I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to happen…
-Then why did you take them to the manor?
-I didn't! They followed me.
Phoebe was about to answer when they got to the address, but something was wrong, the house's door was open and a window was broken. Inside, everything was broken and the house was empty.
-I think someone got here first. –Billie said.
-Yeah, we need to find out who. –Phoebe said before getting a premonition:
"The strange demon appeared in the house and kidnapped the witch after a long battle that broke everything in the house."
-Are you ok? –Billie asked. –What did you see?
-Just what we needed; we have to find the demon.
-Then let's talk to Prue and Paige. –Billie said and they left.
When they got home, they met with the sisters and they all went to the underworld.
-Maybe the demons know who he was. –Prue said when they got there.
-But how are we going to get them to talk to us? –Paige asked.
-Let's get the leader, he'll force one of them to tell us… -Phoebe suggested and they all agreed.
After walking for a while, they found the right cave and hid behind a wall.
-Now how will we get him? –Prue asked.
-I'll go as bait, and you will hold him. –Billie answered.
She walked into the cave and attracted the demon's attention.
-You! –He said. –Did you come back to be killed? Stupid witch!
-Actually, quite the opposite. –She said and ran.
The demon followed and was trapped by Prue's telekinesis.
-Let me go! –He growled.
-Tell us who the strange demon with you was yesterday! –Phoebe said.
-I don't know what you're talking about!
-Don't lie to us! –Billie said.
-He's not, I can feel it. –Phoebe said.
-They're talking about me! –The demon said fading behind them.
-Give us the witch! –Prue ordered letting the other demon go.
-Or what?
-Or we'll vanquish you.
-And then you won't be able to find her.
-What do you want in exchange? –Phoebe asked.
-I want her. –He said pointing at Paige.
-No way! –Phoebe replied.
-Then you won't have her.
-Fine! –Paige shouted before Phoebe could argue.
-Don't do that. –Prue said.
-I'm sorry guys. Don't worry, I'll see you later after we vanquish him. –Paige said and walked to the demon.
-We won't accept that! –Prue insisted.
-She's already made her decision. –The demon said. He waved his hand and Olivia appeared in her place.
-No! –They shouted, but it was too late.
Then the demon faded away.
In the manor, it was already night, and Leo's hours were ending.
-Come on, where are you? –Piper whispered to herself.
-Don't worry, they're coming. –Leo said, but he was just as worried.
Right after, the sisters appeared with Olivia.
-Thank God! –Piper said happily.
-Here, let me help you. –Olivia said sitting next to Leo. –She whispered some words and then removed the ring.
Leo sighed in relief.
-Thank you. –He said.
-How did she know? –Piper asked.
-We told her everything before coming. –Phoebe answered Piper. –Now I'll take you home. –She said to Olivia.
-Thank you, and I'm sorry that that happened to you. –She said.
-We're used to it. –Prue said laughing.
-Let's go? –Phoebe asked and they left.
-Wow, that was close. –Billie said. –I'm sorry.
-It's ok, I knew everything would end well; I trust you all with my life. –Leo said to them.
-But now we have another problem: how will we rescue Paige? –Prue asked.
-Wait, what happened? –Piper asked.
-She stayed with the demon so that he'd give us Olivia.
-Oh no, I can't believe it. What are we gonna do?
-We'll do what we always do, figure it out. –Prue answered.
In a cave, Paige was handcuffed. She was trying to orb for the 50th time, but without any success.
-You can try, but your powers won't work here. –The demon said.
-What do you want with me? And who are you?
-You already know me. –He said shape shifting; it was Sigma.
-Sigma!
-Yes; and I believe you know what I want.
-You want me as an alley, but why?
-It doesn't matter, all you have to do is sign here. –He said giving her a contract and a quill.
-Really, a quill? Did you miss the last hundred years?
-Why don't you shut up and just sign?
-No way.
-Then your sisters will come after me and I'll kill them, one by one, slowly. Then I'll go after your children and your husband. I'll kill him for the second time and I'll make you see it all.
-Shut up! –Paige shouted, her eyes went red for a second.
Sigma smiled.
-I'll leave you alone, all you have to do is sing here… -He added with an evil laugh.
-Fine. –Paige finally gave in with a concerned look in her eyes.
