Time For a Wedding
The manor was a mess, there were brooms and cloths flying all around the place, and the air was filled with the smell of cleaning products. Piper was on the kitchen cooking four different meals at the same time; she was using her powers to boil water and freeze things that were about to fall on the floor.
Leo came into the kitchen and kissed Piper:
-Morning, honey. –He said smiling. –You woke up early today.
-Yeah, I needed to get this food ready for tomorrow because I won't be able to do it then.
-Where is Prue, is she helping you?
-Of course she is, it's her wedding! She's cleaning the house right now…
-Oh, so she's the one controlling all the things flying around… -Leo said laughing.
-Probably, I haven't left the kitchen for a couple of hours.
Suddenly, Piper and Leo heard a scream:
-No! –It was Prue.
They ran to the living room and found her looking at something on the floor.
-There's cleaning products all over my dress! –Prue said. –I can't believe it!
-Oh god. –Piper said. –That's horrible; can we fix it?
-I don't know! Ugh, why did this have to happen the day before my wedding? It's a disaster!
-Calm down, sweetie, we'll solve this problem. –She said to Prue and then turned to Leo. –Take this upstairs while we finish were, would you? –She asked.
-Sure. –He said and left.
Piper and Prue sat on the couch and the eldest sister sighed.
-I should just call this whole thing off. –She said. –All I wanted was to get married before I had my child, you know. I had this wedding dress in mind for some time, and I wasn't planning on having a baby bump, but how could I make a wedding happen in a month?
-Oh Prue, we can find you another dress if you want, but you can't let this bring you down. If you want this wedding tomorrow, then we'll have it, but if you want to wait a little longer, I'm sure no one will mind.
-I want it to be tomorrow, I want to wear that dress, and I want everything to go well, but I don't think the world agrees with me…
-When have we let the world stop us? –Piper said. –Now come on, we have less than 24 hours to make the wedding of the year.
…
Meanwhile, Phoebe was in her loft, alone, with some tarot cards in front of her.
-Please, this has to work. –She said to herself before looking at the cards. –Damn! –She exclaimed in frustration.
-Phoebe? What are you doing? –Cole asked coming into the room.
-Cole? What are you doing here? Who let you in?
-I knocked, and no one answered, even though I could hear that someone was here, so I just flamed in. But what are you doing? Are those tarot cards?
-Yes, they are; and I'm trying to find Jake.
-Oh no, not again… Shouldn't you be helping your sisters with the whole wedding thing?
-Yes, I should, but I can't. At least not before I can solve this mystery…
-There's no mystery, Phoebe; Jake is probably from the future, and now that he helped me, he's back to his own timeline.
-Doesn't it sound way too easy for you? Please Cole, I'm feeling there's more to this story than we know.
-Ok, but what do you want to do? Scrying hasn't worked, the Book hasn't helped you, and not even those lame methods like tarot are working.
-I want to find a seer.
-What? No way! Seers are demons, they're evil and manipulative.
-I know, but you said you'd help me…
-Well, I won't.
-Then I'll get Billie to help me. I don't need you.
-Of course you do! You'll die in the underworld if you go looking for seers.
-Oh, please, I've faced hordes of demons and got out of there without a scratch.
-You don't understand, they live in remote areas, the edge before the endless darkness, places that you've never seen and that you don't want to see.
-I guess it's going to be really fun, then. –Phoebe said teasing Cole. –I'm going, are you in, or not?
-Fine. –Cole agreed madly. –But don't say I didn't warn you. –He grabbed her arm and flamed them there.
…
In Paige's apartment, she woke up, on the floor, surrounded by dark candles and scorch marks.
-What the he… -She said to herself as she got up. –Oh no, not again!
-Hello my dear. –Sigma said, appearing in the room. –I see you've found last night's remains.
-What happened this time?
-I sent some demons after you, they captured you, they tried to use you as sacrifice to a random god, you vanquished them, and then I came and erased your memory. –Sigma said as if everything was normal.
-You're making this a habit, you know? I hate when you erase my mind!
-Well, that's what you get for tricking me, blackmailing me and looking for stuff you're not supposed to know.
-Ugh. –Paige snorted and then sat on the couch. –Get out of my house, now! –She threatened.
-But I thought we were getting on so well… -Sigma pretended to be sad.
-Listen, I'm working for you, and I'm not afraid of you, but that doesn't make you less than an enemy, so if you don't leave now, I'll vanquish you.
-We both know you're not capable of that, but I'll let you believe you are. –He disappeared with a laugh, leaving and angry Paige behind.
…
Phoebe was in the underworld with Cole; it was dark, very dark, and they could only see what was right in front of them, and it wasn't a pleasant view. There were dozens of seers walking around, having visions, ignoring each other and making spells.
-Which one should we talk to? –Phoebe asked.
-I know one that is really good. Her name is Amara.
They walked for some time and found her staring at a mirror; her eyes were blank, and her expression empty.
-Ahem, excuse me, are you Amara? –Phoebe said.
-I've been waiting for you. –She answered with a hoarse voice.
-Great, can you help us?
She laughed and turned around; her eyes were still white.
-Why would I do that? –She looked insane, but Cole had told Phoebe she was the best seer.
-We can give you something you need, maybe… -Phoebe hesitated for a minute, but then she felt what she needed to say. –Give you your sight back.
-Don't promise things you can't carry out, foolish girl, no one can give me my sight back.
-I can, well, me and my sisters; we're very powerful…
-I know who you and your sisters are, and there's nothing you can do.
-Let me try, but before, you have to give me something; tell us where we can find Jake.
-You only get to ask me one thing, are you sure you don't want to know about your daughter?
-My daughter? What does Prudence has to do with this?
-I wasn't talking about your eldest, I was referring to the one that is still to be born.
-What?
-Phoebe, this was a bad idea, maybe we should go. –Cole said.
-No, I can't…
-Everything Amara sees comes with a price, that's why she's the best, she can see further than anyone else; if you choose to know something as personal as your daughter's future, you can suffer consequences…
-But, Cole, I have to…
-What about Jake?
-You said that he's fine, right? He's back to his home…
-Phoebe, this place is affecting you, let's g… -He was saying when the seer interrupted him.
-I can show you, your daughter has a prophecy, and so has your future niece.
-What's the price?
-I only want you to take me away from here, break this chain. –She pointed to a chain that was trapping her to a rock.
-That's all? Really?
-Phoebe, please. –Cole said.
-Yes, that's all. –The seer said.
-Ok. –Phoebe levitated and kicked the chain, breaking it. –Done, now tell me.
-Stupid witch. –The seer said and laughed. –She waved her hand and sent Cole away. –Your daughter and niece are destined to be monsters, and I'm going to stop that! –She started to run and Phoebe grabbed her, but she let go as she received a premonition:
"She was giving birth to her daughter, there was a strong storm outside, and Phoebe looked worried. Then, Paith was teenager, she had extremely strong powers and was vanquishing a demon.
-You're the last one of this race, I'll finally end with all the demons! –She said and then vanquished him.
Then, Paith was an adult and was fighting against another woman, who looked a lot like Prue.
-You have gone too far! You have to stop! –The woman said.
-I'm a goddess, I shall never be stopped! –She said and attacked the woman.
They kept fighting until they were both dead.
Then, Phoebe was at a funeral, she was many years older, and she was crying.
-I wish things had gone differently, I wish I could have done something to stop that…"
When Phoebe opened her eyes, the seer was long gone and Cole was running to her.
-Are you ok? –He asked.
-No. –She answered. –I saw it, I saw what I didn't want to…
-What?
-I don't know, but I didn't see everything. All I know is that she's probably going after Prue right now.
-Then, let's go after her.
…
It was already night and Piper, Paige and Prue were fixing the last details of the decoration when the seer appeared in the room.
-Oh no, not today… -Prue said.
-I'm here after Prudence Halliwell, give me her, and I won't hurt any of you.-The seer said looking all around the room.
-Are we really being attacked by a blind demon? –Piper said sarcastically.
Amara waved her hand and sent Piper against a wall, breaking some flower arrangements and making a mess; then, she sent Paige away and Prue too.
She walked to a fainted Prue and kneeled besides her; she put her hand over Prue's belly and started to chant something. At that moment, Phoebe and Cole arrived, distracting her.
She tried to attack them, but they evaded and attacked back. In the middle of the fight, Paige woke up. She raised her hand and orbs surrounded Amara, crushing her and leaving nothing but dust.
-Wow, that was good. –Cole said. –When did you get so powerful?
-I'm not more powerful than I was before. –Paige said nervously. –The real question is why was that crazy seer attacking us?
-She was trying to get back at me. –Phoebe lied. –I'm so sorry.
-That's ok. –Paige said. –Let's wake them up, then.
-Why didn't you tell them? Was the vision so horrible? –Cole whispered.
-Yes, but I will change it, whatever it takes. –Phoebe answered.
…
The next day, the manor was full of guests, everyone was sitting and waiting for the bride; the decoration was beautiful, and everything was going perfectly.
Andy was waiting, with Leo, Piper, Paige and Phoebe beside him, when Prue came into the room; she was beautiful, and everyone was impressed. She walked to the altar, they exchanged their vows and then kissed. Prue looked to her sisters and smiled, this was the happiest day of her life.
…
Hi guys! I'm sorry for the delay, but I have plenty of reasons to be late with the chapter, so please understand that it was not my fault. This wasn't my best chapter, but wasn't my worst, so I hope you enjoyed it.
