TMNT: the unexpected friendship

Chapter 14: Home Away from Home

Bianca sat up with a start when she found herself falling asleep. Looking around frantically reminded her of being on a near empty train. It was the earliest train she could get to Massachusetts on such short notice. Thankfully it wouldn't be too long, then from there Bianca would have to take a taxi, but since it was in the middle of nowhere she knew she'd have to do some walking. She already called Casey and April about her situation and they would've offered her a ride but by the time she called they were out of the state.

She yawned while stretching out her tired muscles, but her body wasn't agreeing her to moving just yet. Her body pleaded for her to sleep but she couldn't bring herself to listening. Without knowing much to do, now officially on the run, Bianca thought it'd be good to get her story straightened out. Digging her phone out of her pocket, she dialed the number she's been holding back from. Before the person on the other end could even say hello, Bianca spoke,

"Ari, I need you to go with you on that trip."

"Bi? Is that you? Whose phone is this?"

"'Not the point, is the trip still up for grabs?"

"Yes, thank goodness you've decided to come I didn't-"

"I'm sorry, but I don't mean literally, but I need everyone to think I'm on that trip." Bianca interrupted once again.

"What? You want me to lie? Why?" Arielle sounded miffed, though Bianca couldn't blame her. Ari was the most honest out of all of them, but mainly because she sucked at lying.

"I have somewhere else to be, James doesn't want me to go so I'm saying I've accepted to go to Maine with you."

"How am I supposed to lie about that?" Ari asked frantically.

"Just if he calls you say I'm asleep or something but make sure you sound believable?"

"But Bi, I hate lying, you should know that by now."

"I really, really, need you to do this Ari. I wouldn't be asking you if it wasn't dire." Bianca had nothing else to do but beg, she thought if she had to keep on going she might end up just crying.

"Where are you intended on going anyway?" Ari asked suspiciously. Bianca sometimes hated Ari's constant curiosity. They both had it.

"Family member's sick." It was simple enough, but Ari was all about knowing facts, so Bianca had to go dig a little deeper. She took a breath, "It's our uncle's son, but James doesn't like them very much so he doesn't want to go, meaning I can't go, but I want to go, they've been like a family to me. I also need to leave the city. I can't stand home anymore."

"Did you and James get into a fight over leaving?"

"Yeah, you can say that." Bianca sighed, hating how Arielle was able to understand her predicament so easily. That's what Bianca get for being so close to Ari.

"Are you going to be okay by yourself?"

"Yeah, I'll just be in Massachusetts."

"That's far! But on the way to Maine, want me to drive you?"

"Heck no, I'm already on the train." Bianca laughed. "And Mass isn't on the way to Maine, don't go trying to be overprotective."

"Can you blame me? You've never traveled by yourself, and you're my best friend." Ari sighed sheepishly. Bianca laughed lightly at the concern. She really appreciated it.

"I know. And I'm sorry I have to make you do this. It's just really important I get away for a little bit."

"You lucky we have 2 weeks off." Ari said. She was right, usually they only got a week.

"Yeah, thank goodness. Anyway, you think you can handle the job?"

"I should be able to, but what if he wants to talk to you?" Ari asked nervously.

"If he wanted to talk to me then he would call me on my cell?"

"Isn't there GPS to track you, like the Find my Phone app?"

"That's why I left my real phone at home, using a spare from long ago. He won't be able to find me."

"Okay, you better be careful Bi." Ari warned.

"I will. Promise." Bianca smiled to herself, but it was wiped off her face immediately when her stop came up. "Gotta go. Thank Ari, love you lots."

"You better." Bianca laughed and hung up. Quickly she wrapped her bag straps over her shoulders and headed off the train. She looked around for a taxi. After a moment she hailed for one and got in, reading off the address April forwarded to her shell cell. He said he would get her close but the house itself would be somewhere in an area where there aren't many roads. She nodded understandingly and they drove off.

A little over an hour later they made it to a clearing, where a small dirt road was noticeable. She thanked and paid the taxi driver and then took her stuff and watched the man drive off. She sighed, knowing this was going to be a pretty long walk.

Bianca hated how this had to be such a journey to help support her family. She wished she could've gone with them sooner. Not being with them now wasn't an okay fact sitting with her. It almost hurt her when she got the idea that she almost had to ditch them thanks to her stupid fight with James. It was going to take this whole trip to forgive him; she wasn't planning on contacting him until Leo was showing signs of almost full recovery.

Oh Leo, why do you always have to worry me so, she thought to herself. Recently she seemed to base most of her decisions around him and his lovable family. It's unreal how much they've impacted her; she hoped that this trip would help her repay all they've done for her. It was her time to be the supportive family, not the crybaby and the unreliable one. She couldn't wait to see them, she was starting to feel better, so she'd thought she'd sing a little to by the time.

I wanna see you run

Anywhere you want

Never let the darkness hold you back

No fear of getting lost

I wanna see you fly

Way beyond the sun

Anything you're ever gonna dream

I pray that it will come

But if you ever fall down straight to the bottom

And you can't get back where you started

Any place any time

You gotta know for you I'll fight

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Where you wanna go

I'd love to take you there

Wish that I could make the road easy

I wish that life was fair

Don't wanna see you cry

Even when it rains

And I hope you don't forget this

You were born for better things

But if you ever fall down straight to the bottom

And you can't get back where you started

With no strength to stand

Gonna reach for your hand

When the going gets rough

Right when it's hurting I will be there

To help any burden

Any place any time

You gotta know for you I'll fight

Any place any time you

Gotta know for you I'll fight

Anywhere you go

Your gonna find me

No matter what you need

If you ever fall down and you can't get back

If you lose your strength to stand

If you ever fall down straight to the bottom

And you can't get back where you started

With no strength to stand I'm gonna reach for your hand

When the going gets rough right when it's hurting

I will be there to help any burden

Any place any time

You gotta know for you I'll fight

Bianca looked ahead and finally saw the house approaching in sight. She started running to get there faster as she smiled a little.

Any place any time

You gotta know for you I'll fight

"Heh, if ya ask me, Leo ain't comin' back cuz he's afraid." Raph complained.

"Nobody asked you!" Mikey countered.

"No, he got his butt whooped and now he's too chicken to come back and face it."

"That's enough Raph!" Donny complained.

"Well I say who needs ya! It's not like we can't go on without cha playing, 'Fearless Leader'." He growled as someone knocked from the other side of the door. "What!" He barked and then his features fell when he saw Bianca taking a step back with wide eyes. "Bi…I'm…" He looked on the verge of breaking apart.

"Shhhh." She said wrapping him in a warm hug, also she needed some warmth from him, it was freezing outside. "It's okay, I should be saying sorry for not getting here any sooner. Never take a taxi to the middle of nowhere." She tried laughing lightly and he appreciated the effort. He wrapped an arm around her and let her in, she looked at everyone kindly and then saw Leo's frail body wrapped in blankets on the couch. "How is he?" She asked stepping away from Raph and crouching down near Leo.

"Nothing much has changed, but he seems to be responding to what people say to him." Donny commented calmly and quietly as he placed a comforting hand on Bianca's shoulders as they deflated a little.

"Good ol Fearless is taking his grand time getting back, but that was always how he acted, always thinking before acting. Back in the day, I'd always pictured I was gonna be top turtle: I was da strongest, bravest. Remember I brought you over to that closed off section of the sewers?" Raph asked the unconscious turtle as he warily strolled over to stand closer to him. Bianca stepped back timidly, giving Raph more room to get to his brother. Bianca resorted to leaning a little on Donny, which she received a side hug in return.

"We were playing follow the leader. Once we went down dere, we ended up at a dead end, and dere waiting for us was this huge albino alligator. I thought I could take it on, mono-a-mono, but I was way in over ma head. And of course you came to da rescue and got us outta that mess." Raph paused in the story to collect himself. "Eh I don't even know why I told you that story, I-I guess you just—I mean—what I'm trying to say is…" Raph stopped as tears were starting to stain his mask.

"Your brother hears you Raphael. He understands." Master Splinter cooed. Raph walked always suddenly and headed towards the window, he stood there for a little while just trying to get a hold of himself. Bianca felt a need to comfort him, so she stepped away from Donny silently. She paused to give him a nod to say it's okay and continued forward.

"It's nice hearing about when you guys were younger, I bet you were all so cute with you little masks." Bianca said with a smile.

"Heh, those were the good ol days." He replied sarcastically, still not turning towards her.

"Don't forget there's plenty more to come…" Bianca said stepping closer.

"How dya know that?" He asked quietly.

"Because I know Leo's fighting whatever is shrouding him, I can sense it."

"Your psycho lingo doesn't make any sense ya know that?" He commented roughly. She liked how he was slowly starting to get his humor back.

"Hm, usually it doesn't, but I just try and let it show me what's true. And this time, I don't doubt it for a second." She said grasping his hand tight. He looked at her shocked for a minute and then sighed and grasped it right back. She took her gloved hands and wiped his almost straying ears. He shoved her off and messed up her hair jokingly and they both sadly laughed for a moment.

"Leonardo, my son…" Master Splinter mused as he slowly bent down to meet with Leonardo's beat up face. "You must gather all your strength and confront your fear, just as you did many years ago." He gingerly began to stroke his son's head.

"C'mon sensei, Leo's never been afraid of nuthin in his life." Raph argued.

"Not true my son, do you recall Leonardo, our early days?" Master Splinter asked as he glanced at his son again. "We were scavenging for food and supplies. It was then when I realized you had an irrational and paralyzing fear of heights." Master Splinter took a moment to contain himself as the memories were starting to burden him with sadness. "In the weeks that followed, I worked closely to help you overcome your fear; focusing on the way of balance, gradually building your confidence."

"I think he's got too much of that now…" Bianca smirked to herself.

"I was wondering if you ever were going to conquer the dark imaginings of your mind, but I was unwilling to give up. If you not had saved me that day, you would still be consumed by your fear; by focusing on the task at hand, you were able to clear your mind of all distractions." He said as a tear trailed down his snout. "Do so again. Ignore the fear, my son. Let your spirit heal. Find your way home, return to us."

"Is he…?" Mikey wondered aloud as he stared anxiously at his brother's limp form on the beat up couch.

"No…fear." He strained to say as he continued to show on his facial features the internal struggle he was up against. He soon stopped stirring and his face became serious and determined as his chest continued to rise up and down slowly.

"We must give him time to prepare for the battle that he must continue to fight." Master Splinter said slowly with satisfaction as he rose to his feet.

"But, how long can that take?" Bianca asked worriedly.

"Only time will be able to clear his mind, for now, we will not know until he wakes." He answered simply.

"Agh!" Raph roared throwing his hand up in the air. "I'm gonna get some fresh air." He stormed out of the room.

"Raph…" Mikey tried calling after him but Master Splinter put a hand on his shell and shushed him.

"Let him be, he must have time to fight his own inner turmoil."

"I think I'm gonna do the same…" Bianca chirped.

"But, you just got here, you should-"

"I'm not resting until Leo's awake. And that's final." Bianca said sadly as she completely ignored Donny's worry.

"Bianca…" Everyone just sagged more internally as the silence swelled the room.

"This has been a burden on all of us, for such a long time." Master Splinter said sadly. He ventured upstairs slowly, and soon everyone was doing their own thing to deal with the waiting.

Bianca found Raph sitting on the first steps of the porch. She stood silently for a minute before approaching him. She didn't say a word as she sat down next to him. Snow was still falling on them.

"If you're here to spit out your psycho-mumbo-jumbo at me, I don't want it." He mumbled.

"No, I'm not gonna do anything like that…I'm just tired of being cooped up in there." Bianca sighed. She began to pivot her toes into the snow. "I hate waiting." Swiftly she kicked the snow that was on her shoes and she watched as it fell.

"Ya, you and me both sister." He stated.

"How are you being so calm?" Bianca asked. He was surprised to get that question from him.

"Ya kiddin' right? I just exploded in ya face just as ya knocked." He scuffed.

"But, I can't, express…anything, I'm just too sad." She mumbled. "It's almost like I'm numb from all this snow and cold air."

"Bi," He was about to say something to make the situation somewhat better but she leaned on his shoulder before he could. He paused and just let it happen. He stared down at her for a moment, waiting for her to speak.

"What if he can't fight on his own?" She mumbled sadly.

"He's stronger den you know." He said wrapping a gentle arm around her back.

"But what if that darkness, that fear, is stronger?" She asked looking up from him, though he didn't remove his arm, he appreciated the warmth since he was cold blooded. "It can be overwhelming, and pries on your weaknesses."

"Ya seem ta be talkin' from experience." He stated as he stared at her.

"Sorta." She shrugged. She leaned forward, elbows on her knees and chin in her palms. "It's hard to explain, but I can sense the struggle in people's hearts."

"Is dat part of ya psych studyin?" He asked suspiciously.

"No, I think it has to do with what I can do." She said pointing at her head.

"Ah, ya, dat would make more sense." He laughed lightly rubbing her back.

"Thanks for comin' out." Raph said as he rubbed her back again before leaning forward like Bianca was.

"Why you thanking me? You're the one comforting me." She asked giving him a ridged brow in return.

"Yeah, but I would've been sulking and getting angry."

"But, you have a right to be."

"But I've learned dat it's not always good to bottle up stuff, gettin' angry about it won't do me any good."

"You make a lot of sense, for a hothead." She said nudging him.

"It's da best I got!"

"I'm kidding…it makes sense, I'd be the same I guess. I'd throw a tantrum, but I've done enough of that for a while…"

"What dya mean? You haven't yet."

"Yeah I did, with James I did." She sighed as she straightened slightly. "We got into a fight."

"Was it dat bad?"

"Yeah…" She sulked further. He sat up with her to look at her properly.

"Well space usually solves it for when Leo and I go at it."

"Ya think?" She asked hopefully as she looked at him dead on.

"If you're not sure, you can always call 'im." He suggested.

"Yeah but I don't want to do that now."

"You shouldn't havta. Just relax, things will be getting better soon."

"Yeah, you're right." She sighed as she felt a chill run through her, the cold was definitely getting to her now. "We should get you inside, ya know, being cold-blooded and all doesn't mean you're better in the cold."

"I think I like dat idea." He laughed. He held out a hand to help her out. She graciously took it and they went inside together. Everyone began to unpack and claim where they were going to sleep for the night. After a quiet and brief dinner, everyone went to bed to wait for the next day when Leo would hopefully be awake.

The only one left tossing and turning in bed was Bianca. There was no way she was going to get to sleep tonight. She quickly placed the pillow under her head onto of her face. Quickly she gave a yell into the pillow, but once removing it and taking a breath, she didn't feel any better. She thought might as well move and do something productive until sleep could hit her. There wasn't anything in her room to entertain herself so she quietly ventured down the staircase, making sure that it wouldn't creak under her toes. The first floor was a lot colder than Bianca would've thought; a chill ran up her body as her bare feet hit the wood floor.

She stopped though when she could see the silhouette of Leo's body moving on the couch. The sheets were lightly pushed off him, his arms were spread out, one behind his head hanging off the arm of the chair and the other one dangling to his side, touching the floor. The energy radiating from Leo were straining, Bianca had to stop concentrating on what was going on in his head to feel physically better. There was definitely a deep struggle going on in Leo's noggin.

"You know, I thought this was going to be easier for me to deal with, that I would have unbelievable strength to help everyone else out, but I think my supply's run dry." She went from standing over him to sitting on her feet, her legs starting to get cold. "I know you have a lot going on, you have so much darkness in your mind to fight off, but, do you have to do it alone?" She took the hand from the floor and held it, slowly tracing drawings into his palm.

"You have so many people here, waiting for you to sit up and smile at them and play everything off. I can almost hear you say, 'tis but a flesh wound'." She squeezed the hand quickly. "But you're not…I don't want you to face this alone, because you're never alone, you don't have to be alone, you can borrow our strength and let us help you…but you won't." Bianca couldn't keep the tears back anymore.

"Why are you making me go through this? I've lost so many people in life already, I don't think I can stand to lose any of you…" She interlocked their fingers delicately and then rested her head on the space of the couch that wasn't taken up by Leo. "Please come back…we need you…" She began to take in short breaths, losing her control of her emotions "I, need you…" She gasped as she began to sob into the couch. Not long afterward she tired herself out and had cried herself to sleep. In Leo's mind, he found a light that engulfed his visions and he slowly began to open his eyes.

Leo looked around, not understanding where he was. He then felt his hand being restrained, he was about to pull away when he saw pale hands intertwined with his fingers. His eyes widened when he realized sleeping next to him was Bianca. He smiled lightly at how she stayed with him while he rested. She also found it foolish since she was only in a baggy shirt and loose long shorts. He sighed, and trained to take a blanket from behind him and draped it over her as best he could. She mumbled in her sleep from the sudden touch.

"I need you…" Leo twitched as he moved his hand away, afraid that he'd woken her; but she returned to soundly breathing in and out. He looked at her cautiously before lying back down. He smiled as he glanced down at her.

"I need you too." He was soon fast asleep with her, giving her hand a little squeeze before completely being surrounded by a dreamless sleep.

The next morning came around and Leo woke up early, thankfully his troubles didn't continue to bother him once he fell asleep. He was still incredibly sore but he tried moving anyhow. When he found it was hard to move he looked down and then remembered he had company. She was still sleeping soundly, not to be bothered through the night thankfully. He didn't know when to wake her, but since he was up and no longer tired, he decided there wouldn't be a better time for now.

"Hey…"

"Hm?" She moaned lightly. He smiled at how cute she was when waking up. "…five more minutes?" She questioned as she turned her head away from the sunlight striking her face. He laughed.

"I think you've had plenty, and so have I." Her hand tightened on his and her head suddenly shot up. Her hair whipped around and her eyes bugged out.

"A-Are you really?" She stuttered.

"Yeah." He smiled.

"Oh my God!" She breathed as she covered her mouth with both hands. "Leo!" She wrapped her arms around his neck and laughed happily. "You won, you did it." She said as she felt tears dampen her face. "Are you okay?" She sat forward and wiped her face, becoming more motherly by the second. "What hurts most? What do you need-"

"I'm fine, I need rest…" Leo sighed as he managed to get comfortable again.

"You've been resting long enough!" Bianca complained. Leo compared her to a child in his brain.

"I-I know…I'm sorry." He said, starting to strain from the lack of use in his voice.

"No, no, god, no, I'm sorry." She sighed slapping her forehead with her palm. "Look, we've, I've, just been frantic, ya know?"

"Yeah, I do." He said calmly and in an all-knowing tone. This got Bianca's attention and it slightly worried her, he was looking at her sweetly and it was making her slightly nervous.

"Y-You do?" She stuttered once again.

"Mm-hm." He mused, he was quite amused to see this side of Bianca, not a side that's commonly seen.

"O-Oh, ok-kay. Uhm, well, how about I get everyone so they can see your smiling face before you pass out again." She scrambled to her feet suddenly and was turning around when Leo moaned,

"W-Wait…"

"Yes?" She said snapping her head around and kneeling once again.

"Just…stay, a little bit…" He grabbed her hand gently and she got more comfortable on the ground as she mumbled,

"S-Sure…"

"Thank, you."

"I don't mind spending more with you Leo." She laughed lightly as she looked at the floor.

"Not, that…" Bianca lifted her head slightly, curious to what Leo meant. "I; need you too…" Bianca turned beat red at his words, he knew, she knew that he knew what she said!

"Leo!" Came a loud and obnoxious voice, way too loud for the morning. Bianca and Leo flinched as the color calmed down in Bianca's face and she turned her attention to the bodies charging down the stairs.

"Leo's awake!" Donny cheered.

"My son!" Master Splinter made it down as fast as he could to join his family. Once everyone was down, Leo smiled at everyone and said

"No fear." Everyone cheered and Casey and April hugged. Once they realized what exactly they were doing, they separated immediately and each took a step back from the other.

"Uh…sorry…" Casey states sheepishly.

"R-Right." April said crossing her arms and shaking her head.

"We thought you were gone bro." Raph sighed. He was too happy to see his brother again.

"I-I was, but you brought me back. All of you." He turned his gaze from Raph's to Bianca's again. He was happy to see that Bianca had the same reaction; he liked how her eyes popped from the flush in her face. The moment seemed to have gone unnoticed by everyone else; Bianca was thankful for that.

"You have fought your way back, my son." Master Splinter praised as he patted the head of his son gingerly. "You have done well."

"Thank you, sensei." Leo sighed happily.

"The danger has passed, now we must let him rest." Master splinter announced to the group, wanting to excuse everyone from the room.

"No." Bianca and Leo said simultaneously. Everyone ridged a brow or where a brow should be at the teens.

"He's done enough of that I mean." Bianca laughed nervously. "All he's been doing is resting."

"Though I don't feel like I'm ready to move just yet." Leo admitted.

"Tell me how you fought the demons! Was it awesome?" Mikey bounced excitedly next to his brother's form.

"It wasn't exactly like that." He laughed lightly at Mikey's excitement.

"Hey Leo, if ya need anything, I'll be right outside." Raph said with a smile on his face. His brother nodded at him appreciatively and Raph then headed out to get some more fresh air, today it was slightly warmer and the sun was out.

Bianca rushed upstairs once Leo tried explaining to his peppy younger brother what was going on inside his head. She closed the door to the room she shared with April and leaned against the door. She breathed in and out for a while, trying to control her heartbeat. What is going on, she thought to herself. This is the first time she's ever really acted like this, she's not used to stuttering and making a fool of herself in front of the guys; they were her family.

Recently though, Leo was starting to stand out more. She couldn't let that come in between her bonds with everyone; she had to ignore whatever was going on in her heart. There was nothing that could do that more than freshening up. Grabbing all she needed from her bag she hopped into the shower and ignored the pleas from Casey as he wanted a turn.

When she emerged from the bathroom squeaky clean, she felt a lot better and almost like a changed person. Her feet carried her to her room, ignoring the constant complaints from Casey, and she collapsed on her twin-sized bed.

"Something on your mind?" Came a voice.

"Gah!" Bianca sat up with a start and looked around the room frantically until she found April pulling a sweater over hear head. "Oh, right, sorry April."

"It's okay, I also am having trouble remembering I share a room now."

"Haha, yeah."

"What's going on?" She asked curiously as she sat at the edge of Bianca's bed.

"What? What are you talking about?"

"You were in there for a half an hour almost."

"Oh, wow, I didn't mean to, I just didn't feel completely clean until I was done." Bianca excused herself, playing with her damp hair.

"Okay, whatever you say."

"What? Did you think it was something else?"

"Well I was wondering if you just had a lot on your mind?"

"Like what?" Bianca tilted her head as she grabbed the pillow and hugged it to her chest.

"You seemed rather troubled last night."

"Oh, well I was having trouble sleeping."

"I noticed." She laughed, remembering that she heard a muffled scream last night. "You never came back up last night."

"Yeah, I uh, ended up sleeping downstairs." Bianca started to turn the slightest shade of pink. April smiled to herself.

"Right next to Leo's bedside?"

"H-How'd you figure?"

"Well, when I woke up, you still weren't back in your bed, and when I saw you downstairs, you didn't look like you slept too much…"

"Yeah I, kinda couldn't sleep, I was too worried, and annoyed."

"Annoyed?"

"Yeah, because I couldn't do anything to help. So I just, stayed with him, accidentally falling asleep, I wasn't planning on it, but I'm glad I did."

"You two are cute with each other." She laughed lightly.

"Cute?" Bianca repeated, not sure she heard her older friend right. April nodded simply, venturing over to her bag to comb out her hair. "I don't know what you mean."

"You're so fond of each other, it's quite sweet."

"Cute? Sweet? What is this? We're just really super close."

"Mm-hm." April mused, obviously meaning she didn't believe Bianca. Bianca threw her pillow behind her and reclined into it, her hands knitting themselves under the pillow.

"Oh don't you start. I saw that hug you shared with Casey…"

"Well that was different, we, uh."

"Mm-hm." Bianca said rolling her eyes.

"Hey don't turn this around on me!"

"Let's make a deal: I'll stop teasing you, if you do the same."

"But that's no fun."

"I know, I kinda liked teasing you too."

"Ugh, fine, fine, I give in."

"Good."

"Now, can we make something to eat, I'm starved."

"Yeah, let's make Mikey doesn't get near another kitchen, we need this one to work for us for a while."

"Yeah no kidding."

A few days went by and not much had changed in Leo's condition, he was still in a lot of pain, though his bruises were now fading, internally he was still pretty knocked up. April took the liberty of changing Leo's bandages every morning and every night, just to be cautious. Bianca woke up later that morning due to hearing some screaming from downstairs. She hated that her room was so close to the stairs; she had always been victimized to hearing Casey and April bicker like an old married couple. Bianca sighed and took a quick shower to properly wake up and got changed and headed down stairs when she felt ready.

"Hey, where's everybody?" She asked, she was surprised to see on Donny and Master Splinter present when it sounded like a football stadium minutes before.

"Casey just got yelled at by April, who's not furiously scrubbing the dishes in the kitchen. Mikey's who knows where and Raph is still lounging in his bed." Donny explained as he went to fixing the toaster again. Mikey had the bad habit of knocking it over and burning toast in it ever since they've arrived.

"And Leo?" She asked curiously.

"He's, he's kinda been moping around in the barn all morning."

"Again?" She sighed. She was hoping he would be more cautious and stay inside, where she knows he'll be safe. He's in no condition to be moving around.

"My son has suffered from injuries both physical and spiritual Bianca. And he will need the support of all of us if his wounds are to fully heal."

"I think I'm going to go check up on him." Bianca decided as she went to put on her shoes she left by the door.

"You sure that's a good idea?" Donny asked cautiously. She turned around and buckled her boots.

"Not sure, but I wanna see him anyway." She said slipping on her orange jacket she brought with her, already made up her mind.

"You're turning into such a mom."

"Yeah, no kidding, I thought that was only April's job."

"Heard that!" Came April's muffled remark from beyond the kitchen doors. Bianca rolled her eyes and bid the house goodbye for now as she walked over cautiously to the barn. The ground was very slippery.

Leo was busy trying to pull something out of the pile of metal that was piled into the barn; a collection that Leo was starting up Mikey joked earlier.

"Hi…" Came a small whisper from outside the barn door. Leo turned to the door curiously, not clearly seeing who was calling to him. A head popped out and it was Bianca. Leo was slightly surprised and slightly happy that she had come.

"Hey…" He murmured. She slid in through the doorways and strolled in quickly to get closer.

"So, what are ya doing?" She asked curiously with a light tone.

"Moping, missing my swords, you know, the usual."

"C'mon Leonardo…" She begged as she was now less than a foot from him.

"Don't call me that." He said turning away from here.

"What? That's you name, you do remember your name, don't you?" She asked jokingly. She slid around to his side, trying to get him to look at her.

"No, don't say it like that…it'll just make more ashamed of how I'm acting in front of you." He said turning away again.

"Leonardo." She sighed sadly trying to reach out for him.

"There you go again…" He said exasperated at he turned around, throwing his arms in the air.

"Will you stop?" She asked in aggravation. She took a breath and then stepped forward to put her hands on his shoulders gently. "You don't have to worry about acting a certain way around me. You should know that by now."

"I can't help it, I'm supposed to be the leader, the strongest, I'm not supposed to be breaking down and collapsing. I need to be strong for everyone, for you."

"You don't need to do anything but stay safe, as long as you're here and you're awake, that's all the strength anyone needs." She gently wrapped her arms around his torso, making sure to not squeeze too tightly. "It'll be even better when you're healed, but you need time to heal Leo, or you won't be getting any better."

"Bianca…"

"Don't you start…you can't put the world on your shoulders Leo, at least not alone," she separated from him slightly, "you need to stop putting everyone before yourself, you need to fight along side your brothers and me, and not for us."

"But I have to, I'm not letting you get hurt!" He put his arms on her upper arms, slightly shaking her. "I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I ever let that happen."

"Leo c'mon-"

"No, the more you're around us the more you get hurt, ever since we met I doomed you to being in the line of fire."

"If you didn't meet me that day I wouldn't be here you numbskull! I owe you my life." She argued stepping away from him.

"But what life are you living hanging around us? You're just getting hurt; you're not ready for this! You shouldn't be here!"

"Excuse me!"

"I need you to return to New York…"

"Leo I'm not going any-"

"You have a life to live, you're not even through with high school yet, you need to at least experience your life and stay away from us!"

"Why should I listen to you?" She yelled. The next outburst was going to hit her hard.

"Because I don't want you here!" He screamed back, whipping around and seething slightly. "You need to leave…" He said calmer but with an air of authority in his voice. He turned away and started to go back to work. What he didn't see was how Bianca was taking what he said. She shuddered as she wrapped her arms around herself. She gasped for air, trying to contain herself and then decided there wasn't a point in sticking around; so she ran away. The wind blew in through the barn and whisked the ends of Leo's mask off his shoulder. He turned around and stared out the barn door, there wasn't any trace of Bianca.

"Lookin' good Leo." Came a rough voice.

"Huh?" He turned his head and saw his red clad brother leaning against a post in the doorway. "Raph I'm not in the mood!"

"For what?"

"I don't need to hear how I messed up in New York, okay? I got my shell kicked. I let everyone down. I lost my swords! I…"

"Hang on Leo, I wasn't going to say anything like that, I was gonna ask you what you're doin out here?"

"Nothing."

"Well that's too bad, because I know exactly what you should be doing, and I think you do too." He said coming closer. "I think you also need to take back what you said to Bi."

"Y-You heard that?"

"Yeah, and ya sounded way too harsh, and dat's coming from me."

"I don't want her to get hurt anymore…every time she's with us she gets captured or hurt or something else happens."

"But if we weren't dere for her, who on the streets would be protectin her, the Shredder went after her before she came into our lives, he still wants her for whateva reason, you really want to let her go and walk right into his hands?"

"Of course not!" He said loudly.

"Den there's no other way ta fix what's happened." He said patting his brother's shell tenderly. "She's gotten a whole lot tougher than the first time we met her, she was naïve, a little clueless, and didn't have the strategy to back up her fight." He laughed, remembering her training sessions before; each brother worked with her on something, and it was hilarious Bianca getting frustrated at her faults. "But now, she's learnin' she's been trainin' with Masta Splinter, da best of da best, and she's really come a long way, and I think she knows dat too, and you just crushed her hopes."

"I, I didn't mean, I just want…" Leo was at a lost of words, he knew he shouldn't have been so harsh with her.

"We all want her safe, Mike Don and sensei too." Raph admitted. "Even April and Casey would be shattered if Bianca got hurt."

"But what can we do then?"

"We keep pushin her, keep trainin her, and encourage her to be da best she can be, and always be dere for her when she needs us. Think you can do dat?"

"Yeah…" Leo sighed, feeling better, he was surprised to see how well Raph was able to talk to him. He guessed their fights opened up a lot about the other.

"Well in order to do that, we need ta do a lil work ourselves."

A full week has gone by since their first day at the Jones' residence. It's been almost five days since Bianca and Leo fought. They hadn't seen each other since; Leo wasn't sure how to apologize, and Bianca was too sad to face him. Currently, Bianca was up on the roof, she usually would come up here to clear her head, and bring up a piping hot, hot chocolate to accompany her. She sipped it slowly, enjoying the warm liquid making its way down through her body, also nibbling on the marshmallows floating on top.

Donny suddenly came up to the roof; he didn't seem to have noticed Bianca's presence. He was scanning for something out in the woods.

"You looking for something?"

"Huh?" Donny whipped his head around, scanning the roof, his eye finally landed on Bianca. "Oh, hi Bianca." Carefully, making sure not the slip, Donny walked over to her.

"Whatcha lookin' for?"

"A huge techy truck. You haven't seen one have you?"

"Uhm, no." Bianca said, confusion in her tone. "I would probably have noticed that."

"Darn, she's probably deeper in the woods than we thought."

"What?"

"Nothing, just a little, pest control, let's say." He said laughing, sitting down next to her.

"Whatever."

"What are you doing up here? It's freezing."

"Coming from a cold blooded amphibian. I'm perfectly fine with my cup of hot chocolate. Want a sip?" He looked at the chocolate substance curiously.

"You wouldn't mind?"

"Nah, you probably need it more than I do."

"Thanks." He said taking the cup gingerly. He placed the cup to his mouth and sighed. "Mm, not a great as coffee, but satisfying."

"Glad you like it." Bianca laughed, taking it back in her hands. They were silent for a moment.

"May I ask what happened?"

"Hm?" Bianca's head shot up, she completely spaced out, barely hearing or remembering Donny's presence.

"You seem, well, out of it."

"Do I? I haven't noticed…" She sighed looking into her cup intently. "I guess I've had a lot on my mind."

"Penny for your thoughts?"

"We got into a huge fight."

"You and?"

"James…and then later Leo. I don't think I've been very good at getting along with people lately."

"But you're siblings, it happens all the time, believe me I know. And don't worry about Leo, he's dealing with his own stuff, he wouldn't mean to fight with you if something else wasn't bothering hm."

"Yeah but we rarely fight, and this was a lot more dramatic than any of our other fights."

"What made it so intense? Was it because you're out here?"

"Partially for both fights, but with James he started asking about you guys and I couldn't think of a good way to explain how I have mutant turtles as best friends."

"Ah, I see, that could prove to be a little hard to explain."

"A little?" She pressed.

"Okay a lot."

"Got that right…" She laughed hollowly. "I just feel bad, he pushed me and I feel like I pushed him back. He didn't exactly give me permission to be out here, I kinda ran away."

"Kinda?" Donny pressed this time. She looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"Okay I did run away."

"That wasn't very smart Bi."

"Yeah I know, I know…but it's not like I wasn't going to come out here, I had to."

"No you didn't."

"Yes I did, I need to be here for you guys, you guys are family to me: you, the boys, sensei, even April and that bonehead Casey. And that's why Leo's mad at me, he doesn't want me here."

"I wouldn't say that." Donny laughed lightly to himself, thinking quite the opposite. "He probably wants you to live a normal life, and he knows you also have other family, family that's worried about you."

"I don't know, James seemed pretty mad at me, I don't think he'd be missing me."

"Hey, just because my brothers and I don't always get along, doesn't me we don't still care and worry about each other. It seems to get more intense whenever one of us gets hurt after a huge fight. Even in your case with fighting with Leo."

"Really?"

"Yeah, Leo is obviously concerned about you, like James is. You should think about calling him."

"I don't know…maybe."

"It wouldn't hurt to talk to him, and when you get home, things should be okay."

"I hope you're right."

"You know, I have something that might help you get your mind off of your worries." He said standing up.

"Oh yeah, what?" She eyed him curiously, not yet knowing if to follow his lead or not.

"Mikey and I have a little project we're working on, why don't you help us?"

"What's it on?"

"Getting rid of whack job scientist." This got her attention. She stood up.

"What? I didn't think there'd be any out here."

"Well you'll be surprised what crazy neighbors can see when wandering through the woods."

"Oh no, this has Mikey getting in trouble written all over it."

"You guessed it." Donny laughed and Bianca ran her fingers through her hair and sighed. She looked away for a moment, her eyes fell on the barn and she immediately got sad. She shook her head and turned back to Donny.

"Ah well, why not? Should be interesting."

"That's the spirit." He cheered rubbing her back cheerfully. "C'mon, Mikey said he found her." Donny said looking at his phone. He offered to give Bianca a piggyback ride, which she gladly accepted. The two of them hopped off the roof and Donny found Mikey up in the tree, near the scientist's operations.

"Hey, so what's the sitch?" Bianca asked, try to stable her body against the trunk of the tree.

"Crazy monster hunter lady here is prepping for her hunt." Mikey said, perched on a branch comfortably eating some nuts. The lady then screamed out to her partner who was in the van and then ventured off into the deeper part of the woods.

"What'd she say?" Mikey said with his mouth full.

"I couldn't hear her since someone was crunching pistachio nuts in my ear." Donny complained. Mikey continued to eat.

"What?"

"While you guys continue to mess around I'm going to take a look."

"Hey, wait for us!" Mikey called down to the impatient Bianca, his brother tailing not far behind him.

"Whoa," Bianca whistled at the truck. "This truck is super tricked out, maybe more so than the Battle Shell."

"Can we keep it?" Mikey asked.

"No Mikey!" Donny said slapping Mikey's head. "Let's just search for that tape."

"Uh, and we should probably put her little lackey on hold too, right?"

"Good call." Donny complimented Bianca, and she smirked in return. He looked around quickly and then found a good sturdy stick that he could stick into the lock of the truck, that'd hold him long enough.

"Now if I were a video tape, where would I hide?" Mikey asked as he ventured into the back of the truck. Unwisely. Donny followed him and began to lecture him,

"Mikey get out of there, for all we know this thing could be a-" The two doors that barricaded the back of the truck closed and there was no response from the inside.

"Trap!" Bianca squeaked. She ran to the door, but there weren't any handles to open it. "Shit, guys!" She banged on the door and called, "Can you hear me?" There wasn't any response. She tried slicing at the doors with her tonfas but no luck. "Aw man, the alarms are blaring and that crazy lady will be here any second!" binaca was thankful that the crazy doc hadn't showed up yet. "C'mon Donny, we could really use a breakthrough right now!" suddenly the doors broke open roughly and Mikey and Donny fell out, covered in frost.

"B-b-b-b-brain freeze!" Mikey chattered as he shivered uncontrollably.

"C-c'mon, we have to go." Donny stuttered, and Bianca had to help the two of them get out of their quick enough to not be spot.

"Our mission is going to have to wait, you need to get you both inside pronto." Bianca ordered. They didn't argue with her and Bianca continued to lead them towards the house. "April…!"

"Hey Bianca, what's—ah, what happened?" April gasped when she saw the condition that Donny and Mikey were in.

"We have a bit of an emergency on our hands here." Bianca sighed.

"I'll get some hot water, Casey, get blankets from upstairs." April ordered.

"On it!" Casey said, doubling his speed up the stairs.

"Come my sons, you must stand near the fire." Master Splinter mused as he guided his sons to sitting near the fire. They shivered and extended their hands out. Bianca rubbed their upper arms in hopes to get them warm.

"I got a bucket." April called out from the kitchen. She carried a tin bucket already filled with some warm water.

"Great, come here you guys, you need to sit over here and warm up." Bianca chided as she lifted the two from the ground.

"But, but the fire feels so nice…" Mikey moaned as he tried to resist moving but Bianca got him to anyway. She sat the two in chairs and they slowly moved their feet into the water. April brought out a kettle as well filled with warm water and poured it in. the guys sighed in content and sunk into their chairs a bit more. Casey came down and threw Bianca a blanket and she wrapped one around Don and Case wrapped the other around Mikey.

"I can't believe you bozos walked right into a trap." Casey laughed.

"I believe it." Master Splinter sighed from his spot on the couch.

"All I know is that it's a good thing that the green man's not real, if that Doctor Finn got her hands on him." Donny sighed.

"Hey that's it!" Mikey chimed in happily. "Little Miss monster hunter is still out there hunting the green man, right?" Everyone nodded and he smiled more. "She wants green men, we'll give her some. Serious butt kicking ninja green men."

"Oh no, I don't like where this is going…" Bianca said pushing down Mikey back into his seat, he still needed a lot more time to warm up.

"I've got a plan." He snickered. Mikey then began his long explanation and Casey went out into the woods and filled up a lot of garbage bags with leaves and twigs. Bianca and April sighed and began to try and construct outfits for the three men. They first worked on Casey and once they were happy with how it came out, the two moved on to the now warmed up turtles.

"Mikey, this is your plan?" Donny complained as they ventured outside into the cold woods.

"Yeah this is crazy, and these leaves are itching me all over." Casey complained trying to pick at his back foliage.

"I think you guys look great. Very believable." Bianca said trying to keep from laughing hysterically.

"Eh shaddup kid. You'd be complainin' too if you were stuck in this costume."

"Why do I have the feeling that this is going to make everything worse?" Donny sighed exasperatedly.

"Just follow my lead." Mikey chided.

"And why am I out here again?" Bianca piped up.

"You're the one who gets miss monster hunter on our trail."

"C'mon, get your acting skills ready." Donny laughed.

"Ugh, fine." Bianca grunted as she ran off to go find the nut job. It didn't take much since said nut job was screaming into her headset.

"Parker! The bots have a signal." She looked at a device in her hands. "No two, (gasp) three signals." Bianca smiled, good thing those robts can't tell the difference between fake and real monsters. "Is the containment chamber repaired?" Bianca took this as her cue.

"Ah!" Bianca came running out of the bushes and tripping over herself. She looked up from the ground an stared at the confused and almost miffed woman. "Oh my goodness you're the great Abigail Finn, the best monster hunter out there! You have to help me, I just ran into a ferocious monster. I know you are the only one for the job!" Bianca pleaded grasping the woman's strong arms.

"Finally, my dream to capture a beast will be realized." Abigail Finn ran past Bianca and her little orbed robots followed not far behind her. Bianca laughed as she followed behind the crazed woman. Doctor Finn stopped in the center of a clearing and looked around. There was a crack in the bushes and Bianca jumped.

"AH! What was that?" Bianca freaked out.

"Shhhh, you'll scare them off!" Doctor Finn shushed Bianca. Then there was some ruffling from the bushes in front of them.

"I'm getting out of here!" Bianca freaked out and ran away from the doctor and jumped into some bushes to conceal herself. She turned back around to see Casey growl some weird word at her. "Goongala?" Bianca sighed annoyed. "Really Case?" She face palmed as she continued observing. Casey got netted but Donny and Mikey kept her entertained and kept her distracted.

"Parker, I got one! Alert the media, I want a press conference at dawn, by then I'll have the other two!" Doctor Finn pulled out a knife and continued to stalk Donny as he continued to run off farther into the woods.

"Goongala?" Mikey asked approaching Casey on the ground.

"Gah, just get me outta here." Casey groaned. Bianca decided to help them when she saw Mikey was having trouble.

"Hold still crybaby, you'll just end up getting yourself more tangled." Getting fed up with the net herself, she resorted to cutting it with her tonfas. "So, do I get my Oscar now?" She asked batting her eyes jokingly at Mikey.

"You sure do, right after the face that Casey pulled when he got netted, priceless!" Mikey laughed at Casey's expense as he got off the ground. Mikey was also removing his costume, the crisis now averted.

"Haha, at least we taught that loony doctor to not mess with the green man." Casey laughed. There was howl coming from the distance.

"You can quit the howling, Donny. Dr. Freakenstein went off in the opposite direction." Mikey called out. There was some bushes moving behind them and Donny came out, costume gone.

"That wasn't me." He stated.

"And that sounded way to real one of your guys' imitations." Bianca pointed out as her breath hitched in her throat and she covered her mouth to hide a gasp. Mikey caught on and looked behind Donny.

"Pst, Donny, right, behind you." Mikey whispered as he pointed behind Don.

"Huh? AH!" Donny turned around and was face to face with the giant green monster, slouched over like a gorilla. "The, the green man, he, he's real!"

"Nice monster, good green huge monster…" Bianca soothed nervously as she stepped back slowly.

"Uh hey there, you smell these? You want some pistachios?" The monster was sniffing at Mikey's belt where his bag of nuts were still. Mikey held some out in his hand and the monster licked his hand clean. "What a smart thing you are, what a smart green man monster." Mikey cooed as he continued to feed the green man. "Can we keep him?" Mikey asked happily. Then something seemed to get the monster stimulated and he started roaring, like he was howling. "Whoa, easy big fella."

"Is he mad that you ran out of nuts?" Bianca asked timidly. The orbs that belonged to Dr. Finn arrived and were surrounding the area.

"It's those orbs, they're upsetting him." Donny concurred. The monster then began to falter back and then get zapped by the orbs.

"Who wouldn't be when you're zapping you?" Bianca tried slicing at the orbs with her tonfas but they were too high in the air. Then she accidentally got in the way of the green man and got knocked aside. "AGH!" She rubbed her head gingerly. "Wait no, monster man, come back!" She got up quickly, trying to ignore the dizziness and carried on after the creature.

"That thing packs a wallop." Donny groaned from his spot on the ground.

"C'mon we gotta go save the big green dude." Mikey called out.

"Hey, wait up!" Casey yelled, stumbling as he tried to catch up with his ninjas friends, the disguise was making it super hard to move around.

"Bianca, get back here!" Mikey whisper hissed.

"No, we gotta stop them!" She called over her shoulder and then ran forward to help the monster from going inside the vehicle.

"Bianca wait!" Donny called but he was ignored.

"Get away from him!" Bianca yelled, swiping at the robots with her tonfas but they were too quick for her. Then they zapped both the monster and Bianca and they were both shoved in, the door closing quickly behind them.

"No." Bianca said, trying to slice her way out of there, nothing was working. It was sealed up tight. The monster roared ferociously behind her, crashing into the sides of the chamber and almost knocking Bianca over again. He was terribly frightened, and angry.

"Hey, hey! It's okay, calm down!" Bianca said trying to calm down the beast, the beast's head whipped around and Bianca touched it momentarily and then a shrill scared voice spoke in her head.

"My babies, my babies!"

"Babies? Wait, I can hear you, wait, you're a girl!" Bianca gasped. The green man was a green woman, and she was worried about her family. "My friends are on their way." "We'll get you back to your family, I know how important they are." Bianca shushed the worried mother and stroked her head soothingly, she was beginning to calm down. Suddenly some was happening to doors and soon they slid open. "See?"

"Bianca, that was foolish!" Donny panicked, quickly giving her a hug.

"But if I wasn't here with her, she'd be freaking out!" Bianca countered.

"She?" He asked, pulling her away from him quickly.

"Yeah, and more importantly, she's a mother, she needs to get back to her family." Bianca walked over to the creature and stroked its head again. "It's okay, you run along, they probably really miss you." The monster cooed in response and galloped away back into the woods."

"Now what?" Casey asked.

"Well the Doctor wants a monster, so we'll give her a monster."

"But what?" Casey asked scratching his leafy head. Donny and Bianca exchanged a look and then both pointed at Casey.

"You."

"Me?" He cried.

"You are the only one left in the costume." Donny concluded.

"And it's not like Donny or Mikey can go in there, they need to still be a secret." Bianca added. "So get in dere!" Casey tripped while Bianca was pushing him into the chamber and closed the door behind him.

"What do I do?" He cried through the bars of the cell.

"Be yourself." Bianca laughed.

"Just keep her busy, and when the media comes, expose her for who she really is, a lunatic." Donny explained better, nudging Bianca's side to stop laughing.

"Gotcha. Dat, I can do." He said giving a green thumb up.

"One of the only things." Bianca laughed. Donny and her turned around before anyone would suspect they were involved. Once they were in the woods, Donny piped up,

"So, I think you've learned a valuable lesson."

"That leave the final jobs to boneheads like Casey?"

"You know what I mean."

"Yeah, family is really important." She said smiling at Donny, she nudged him lightly and he nudged her back. they heard a scream from afar and ducked behind some bushes, they watched as Dr. Abigail Finn was running off like a lunatic.

"A ninja a day keeps the doctor away." Mikey laughed and Bianca and Donny approached the green boy from behind. "AH!" He screamed, not expecting to see them there. "Donny, where's the big green dude?"

"Relax Mikey, it's all taken care of." Donny said coolly, wrapping an arm around his brother.

"I can't wait to see what's gonna happen at the press conference." Bianca smirked as she walked beside them.

"Let's go check it out. It's almost dawn anyhow." Donny mentioned looking at the time.

"Wow, we stayed up all night?" Bianca gasped, looking at her watch, stunned.

"Time flies when you're chasing a weirdo and saving a species." So the three of them ventured to the edges of the woods, staying back as reporters scampered out of their vehicles and towards where Dr. Finn was setting up for her big revealing. She opened the doors and between the bars came Casey's face, screaming for help, the reporters drew closer to him and he ripped of Dr. Finn big time. The three couldn't help but laugh at the whole stunt. "Donatello, you sly turtle."

"Don't thank me, it was both our decisions." Donny said wrapping an arm around Bianca's shoulders and she laughed.

"Yup, we thought we'd give Casey a star role opportunity." She smirked.

"What about the green dude?" Mikey asked.

"Safe and sound." Donny said, he pointed towards a clearing in the woods and there she was, the green creature.

"And just for the record, the green man's a she. A mother." Bianca explained as smaller and cuter little green creatures approached their mother.

"Woo hoo, now all we gotta do is wreck that tape." Mikey cheered.

"You like to do the honors?" Donny asked, removing it from his belt and holding it out to his tempted brother.

"Don't mind I do." Mikey swiped the tape from Donny's hands and they all laughed as they approached the Jones' residence. April and Master Splinter were sitting on the porch.

"So, how'd the monster hunt go guys?" April asked.

"A lot more fun than I anticipated." Bianca sighed happily with two thumbs up.

"The doc has hit the road, her reputation will forever be without credit."

"All in day's work." Mikey laughed.

"And now the fiasco has passed, maybe there can be a maintaining of some peace and quiet." They began to explain their adventures to the adults when suddenly an annoyed looking piece of mulch headed their way.

"See sensei, I told you the green man was real." Mikey and the gang laughed as Casey threw his costume's headpiece to the ground.

"Hey Casey, what kept you?" Donny asked, suppressing his laughter.

"Those reporters are even more vicious than that crazy doctor. They'll be making fun of Doctor Finn for months." He laughed too.

"Guys, hey guys, come round back, there's someone I'd like you to meet." Raph ran up saying, interrupting the slight celebration. Everyone looked at each other in confusion, not exactly knowing what he meant. They decided to follow Raph anyway and they ended up at the barn. "Allow me to introduce ya to, Leonardo: new and improved." Leo stepped out of the shadows, swords unsheathed and they reflected off the light, they looked wonderful.

"Uh, hey everyone." He replied sheepishly.

"Alright!" Donny went up to Leo and patted him on the back.

"Leo's back." Mikey cheered. Everyone gathered, overjoyed by the cheerier sight of Leo, except for one, which didn't go unnoticed by Leo.

"Bianca?" Leo looked past everyone and glanced at Bianca. Her head was turned away from him and her arms were crossed tightly over her chest. Slowly, he made his way over to her. "Look, I'm sorry about what I said, I just got caught up in my own faults and worrying about you and everyone else's safety." He moved his hand under her chin and turned her face towards him. "Can you blame me for that?"

"No, but I can blame for way you acted…" She said moving her chin from out of his grasp and turned away from him slightly.

"I know; that wasn't the right way to respond, I'm so sorry, can you forgive me, please?" He placed his arms on her upper arms. She didn't respond for a moment.

"One condition." She said sternly as she turned her head to face him.

"Anything."

"Never, ever, say that again." She said poking his plastron roughly.

"Deal." He smiled, Bianca did the same and leaped up and wrapped her arms around his neck. He held her in his arms, her feet dangling off the ground slightly.

"Pain in the ass…" She whispered, giving him a tighter hug.

"Right back at you." She gasped and stared at him with face shock. He laughed and that eventually got her to laugh too. He put her down gently and he stepped back slowly to face his brother, gently placing an arm around Bianca's shoulders. "Guys, I think it's time we return to New York, and finish our business with The Shredder. Once and for all." Everyone cheered in agreement; thinking their little vacation into the woods was long done for. It was time to face the music and regain their home.

Sorry i haven't been leaving any comments in a while, i love hearing from my regular followers, but for whoever is tuning in for the first time, please tell me what your thoughts are, i would to hear from other people, but my friends who've followed me please dont be shy to talk as well

i was also thinking of changing the title, like i did with the description of the story, i actually was inspired by sabrina the animated series opening for the description, it suited pretty well, just tweaked it to make it more my own.

but if you have title ideas, i'd love to hear them, because i'm stumped, or if you think the title's okay, feel free to tell me in the review or PM me

thanks for reading and i'll have more up soon, with a lot more action and some unanswered questions will be answered in the next few chapters, or it'll just get more confusing, depends :)

oh and the last song used in the story was by Justin Timberlake off his latest album and it's called "Amnesia"

The song in this chapter is off of Chris Daughtry's new album ad it's called "I'll Fight"
