Chapter 15: Climbing to the Top
It took another week until everyone was trained and back into shape for the fight, it'd been a while since they had done anything involving training. So finally everyone packed up their things and they headed out of Massachusetts and back home. Bianca rode with April and Casey in the car while the guys and sensei were in the back of the trailer. The ride was long but Bianca ended up crashing in the back seat for a while. She was woken up when the car stopped suddenly and she fell onto the floor.
"Way to go Casey. Excellent driving as always." Bianca heard April complain from the front seat as she pushed the door open and closed it roughly with her hip.
"Hey I didn't wake Bi up did I?" Casey argued as he got out of the car but left the door open, "I'd say that's pretty successful." Bianca situated herself in her seat and swung her backpack over her shoulders and kicked the door open right as Casey was opening it. She crawled out and glared at Casey.
"Well you woke me now!" Bianca complained and slammed the door behind her. "What, you can't cut it any faster?"
"Heh, sorry." Casey said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Bianca walked past him with a huff and went to the back of the trailer they were tugging along.
"At least you picked a decent place to park." Bianca said looking at the manhole perfectly placed in front of the back door to the trailer. She lifted the lid off carefully and moved it to the side. She looked around for cars and bystanders. "Alright, coast's clear guys, now hustle." Bianca said whispering through the crack in the doors when she started to open them.
"Thanks Bi." Mikey smiled.
"Ya, thank you from saving us from Mikey's stank." Raph complained.
"What are you…oh my-!" The smell finally hit Bianca's nose. "Ew! What is that?" She complained as she gagged.
"Sorry…" Mikey smiled cheekily.
"You're such a guy." Bianca said rolling her eyes.
"Why thank you." Mikey smiled again as he laughed popping his head out of the manhole to gloat.
"Get movin' lame-o." Bianca said trying to stomp on his face to make him go down. He ducked.
"Ha, missed me." He smirked. She tried again, same result. "Try again."
"GR!" Bianca growled viciously, she stepped on his fingers he left vulnerable.
"Ow!" He complained, sucking his big finger.
"Quit it, I want to get down there safely." Donny complained.
"As well as undetected." Leo agreed.
"He started it…" Bianca grumbled.
"You complained!" Mikey argued.
"Well I'm stopping." Bianca countered.
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Good!"
"Good!"
"Move it!" Raph roared as he shoved Mikey's head down with his hand and going down right after. Donny was going next.
"Why do you like picking fights with him?" he asked looking up at Bianca. She smirked.
"Because he's a worthy adversary. James was never fun at bickering."
"Well if there was an award for bickering, you two would win them every year." Leo laughed as he followed Master Splinter after Don.
"You're too kind." Bianca said bashfully and then laughed. She followed after him and Casey and April afterwards, Casey putting the lid back on. They hid in the shadows for a moment, listening for movement. Leo was the first to step out and look around the corner. It was silent for a few more moments until he turned around.
"All clear." Leo whispered. Casey was the first to emerge and he steps out to then accidentally kicking over a can. Its clangs echo through the sewers.
"Nice one Casey!" Donny complained, continuing to whisper like his brother.
"Why don't you just broadcast it to the foot ninjas?" Mikey added sarcastically.
"What foot ninjas? I'm tellin' ya there nobody down here!" Casey called out as he stormed over to another entrance and looked around. Master Splinter sniffed the air to confirm Casey's assumption.
"I believe you may be right, Mr. Jones." Splinter said as he and everyone else ventured out of the dark to see where Casey was standing.
"Well that'd be a first." April huffed. Donny goes over to the infamous wall, twists the pipe, then turns the wheel and the keypad pops out. He punches in the code and the wall parts and reveals the lair.
"Welcome home everybody." Donny congratulated.
"Ah, just like we left it." Leo sighed as he ventured into the lair.
"Cool." Raph commented.
"Home sweet home!" Mikey cheered. Everyone walked in with a great sense of happiness. Everyone would agree when someone were to say it was nice to be back, it would be more of an understatement.
"And you were worried the foot would find this place, Mikey." Donny mocked, as he got comfortable by his computers again. Bianca and Casey followed Mikey into the kitchen.
"Heck yeah, I couldn't bare the thought of them hurting my babies." Mikey said as he dug through the cabinets to search for his bags of food. "Hello babies, mwah! Daddy missed you, yes he did…" Mikey cooed.
"Sometimes your weirdness astounds me, now stop kissing your junk!" Bianca complained as her eyebrows knitted together. Mikey gasped.
"Don't listen to the mean girl my babies, she didn't mean to call you junk, apologize!" Mikey demanded.
"Not gonna happen Mikey." Bianca laughed. Mikey then went for the fridge and got out a carton of milk and began drinking from the carton.
"Uh, wouldn't that milk be three months old?" Casey asked skeptically.
"That would explain the chunks." Mikey spits the carton's contents on Casey. Bianca can't help but burst out laughing at the annoyed looking Casey. He shakes out his hair like a dog and Bianca slaps his arm in protest as she complains. Finally getting fed up she ventures over to another cabinet and throws Casey a washcloth, and then grabs one for herself.
"I don't get it, last time the sewers were crawlin' with foot goon soldiers searchin' for us. Why would the shredder send them all home?" Raph grunted as he punched his beloved and untouched punching bag. He complained about missing it while they were away.
"Maybe he thinks there's no one left to search for." Leo said holding the bag steady for Raph. Raph stops for a moment and looks over the bag at his brother with a smirk.
"Ya know, bein' dead might have its advantages." Raph states.
"Yeah, it might just give us the element of surprise." Leo agrees.
"Are you thinking what I think you're thinking?" Mikey asks with a smile.
"I think he's thinking what you think he's thinking." Donny says.
"If he's thinking what I'm thinking, then I think we shouldn't be just thinking." Raph concurs. He turns to Casey who was emerging from the kitchen with Bianca, who were just catching a little of what they were just saying. "What do you think?"
"Uh, huh?" Casey mused dumbfounded. Master Splinter approached, knowing he was going to have to dumb down the information, and speak slowly.
"Shredder believes us vanquished in the explosion at Ms. O'Neil's. Thus leaving our enemy vulnerable for a surprise attack." Splinter revises.
"Ah…" Casey gasps, the gears starting to move almost visibly in his head.
"Hm, if we're gonna do this, then we need to find out everything we can about foot headquarters." Leo thinks aloud, trying to formulate a plan.
"I don't know if I can hack into that system." Donny says as he looks at his precious computer. "It was designed by Doctor Baxter Stockman himself."
"Too bad you don't know anybody who used to work for Stockman." April commented all-knowingly. Donny smiles at her and he allows her to sit in his seat. She cracks her fingers and gets busy.
"But no one's allowed to sit in your chair." Bianca whined. "Not even me."
"Were you ever offering to hack into a enemy's mainframe?" Donny asks.
"No, but you never said that's what you were looking for in a worthy candidate for the chair." Bianca murmured as she crossed her arms and pouted.
"Remember my sons, the battle you face today will be most arduous. You must go in prepared." Splinter states wisely.
"I'm prepared, to kick some shell!" Raph said kicking the air, already pumped.
"I think Master Splinter meant a little something more." Leo states.
"I believe it is time to return the Shredder's sword to its former owner." Everyone follows Splinter's glance to the sword that has been untouched since it had arrived.
"Now you're talking." Raph approaches the sword, and when forgetting the glove and reaching for it he gets electrocuted. He's thrown back by the amount of energy it contains and collides with the couch.
"Forget something?" Leo stated as he held the metal glove.
"Uh, maybe you should have the honor of carryin' the sword, bro. After all, you're the sword guy." Raph concludes, trying to slowly get up off the floor. Leo puts the glove on and begins to approach the sword but stops short and looks deep in thought.
"Are you alright, my son?" Splinter asks, cautiously approaching his son.
"I, I was just remembering when I last tangled with the Shredder's elite ninjas." Leo fumbles over his words, getting nervous already by his thoughts and memories. "I, I don't want to let my brothers, down." Leo states.
"You must look within and find the strength that is your own and yours alone. You will not let them down, I feel it in my heart." Splinter says truthfully as he rests an arm on his son's shell.
"And you're not gonna let them down because you won't be alone, we're here, right behind ya." Bianca said coming up and holding his hand gingerly. He looks at her and returns her smile.
"We're in, we're in!" Donny cheers as he high fives April. Everyone's attention is pulled to the brainiac turtle and brainiac human and head over the quickly.
"We had to use three different dictionary attack programs to crack the encryption algorithm." April stated.
"Then it was the simple matter of creating a dummy account and installing a remote access Trojan horse." Donny said proudly.
"Thrilling." Mikey commented sarcastically.
"But, can you get us inside?" Leo asked.
"Never mind that, can you get us to Shredder?" Raph added.
"Getting inside's easy." April said. "Getting to Shredder: difficult, but doable."
"What concerns me is everything in between." Donny pointed to the areas in between the diagram of the tower on the computer.
"Do we know what's in between?" Bianca asked staring at the many layers.
"Nope. Not a clue." Donny sighed.
"Peachy." Bianca grunted.
"Bring it on!" Raph growled excitedly as he punched his fist into his palm.
"I can coordinate the computer systems from this end." April stated as she turned to Leo.
"Great, Casey, you stay here and protect April, just in case." Leo suggested as Bianca caught the disappointed looks in both Casey and April's faces, which she laughed at internally. "We're gonna be a four turtle wrecking crew." Leo said to his brothers as they all put their three fingers hands in the middle of their little circle.
"Five." Splinter stated, placing his paw on top. Bianca approached them too.
"I think you mean, six." Bianca placed her hand in too. Leo looked at her nervously, he wanted to argue with her so badly, a 'no' was at the tip of his tongue. When he looked at her she was already looking at him. She winked and gave him a look that said there was no arguing with her.
"Let's roll." Raph smirked.
"Here's what we're going to do." Donny then signaled everyone to join him near the computers, and they began to talk battle strategies and plans.
"I thought I didn't like the sewers already, now we're headed into enemy sewers, and I think I like them less."
"It could be worse."
"How could it be worse? This is where the-"
"There is no need to say it, we do not need to be reminded of it, we know." Master Splinter chided as he placed a hand on Bianca's shoulders.
"This is it, we're goin' in!" Donny announced as he looked at the tracker he put on the Battle Shell, which was currently in the hands of Mikey.
"Keep moving Mikey, just because you're enjoying being a video game geek doesn't mean you can't walk at the same time." Bianca complained as she yet again had run into Mikey's shell.
"Hey, this is an art, and art needs patience to be perfect." He commented as he didn't even stop to look up from the handheld device.
"You don't need to be perfect when you're ramming into a building!" Bianca argued.
"Shush, we may be in the sewers but it doesn't mean we're not in the clear, there could be guards down here." Leo shushed.
"Guarding what? It's a pipe." Bianca groaned.
"Okay, we're here." Donny announced. He took a device from his belt and it used a laser pointer to draw a circle into the side of the pipe, successfully cutting a hole into the open.
"Nice remote control work, slick." Raph commented as the truck had now been officially exploded.
"And they say hours and hours of videogames are bad for you." Mikey gloated proudly with his fists on his hips.
"Oh it will." Bianca scuffed, hopping out of the pipe.
"Poor Battle Shell, I really love that oversized gadget latent gas guzzler." Donny sighed as he placed the tracker he was holding to his plastron over his heart.
"And I'm sure the next one you build you'll love just as much, but right now, let's stick to the plan." Leo comforted. Donny nodded and spoke into his headset that connected him back to the lair.
"April, stage one complete." Donny whispered.
"Okay, now that we're in, where to?" Bianca asked looking around, thankfully not seeing any guards.
"April will be currently shutting down the communications network, cutting all everyone from each other. And then we'll move in and take over." Donny.
"Me likey." Bianca smiled at the genius. "Let's move boys." Bianca pointed forward and marched on.
"Who put you in charge?" Mikey complained.
"No one, but I like being bossy on missions, gets me fired up and ready for anything!" Bianca smirked looking back at him and the gang.
"Cool it sparky, we need to still be ninjas don't forget." Raph said messing up her hair.
"I'm not, I'm not." Bianca sighed as she fixed her hair. They made it up a couple of floors and sneaked around different hallways until Donny stopped up and mentioned that we have arrived at the security center.
"April, I'm having trouble getting in." Donny whispered into the headset again. "Can you dig up an access code?" It took a few moments for Donny to get an answer, apparently too much time wasted in Raph's mind.
"Allow me." Raph steps back and then kicks down the door.
"Noisy, but effective." Mikey comments lightly as he and everyone else follow Raph, and with the loud commotion, there waiting for them is an army of ninjas. "Now that's a lot of ninjas."
"Woo, already at our first fight. I feel it's a little too soon." Bianca complained, unsheathing her tonfas.
"So are we doing this with banter or without?" Mikey asked jokingly.
"I'm all for bantering, it helps settle the mood." Bianca smirked. "They don't seem to like that answer though." The ninjas approach and they have weapons flailing and looking as vicious as ever.
"Definitely without." Mikey huffed. The gang then prepared to charge. Everyone took on their own set of ninjas. After a moment Bianca takes out her last foe of her small group and looks around to see where else she can help out and her eyes fall on Leo.
"Two can play at that game." Bianca says after seeing Leo split kick the ninjas while in a handstand. She does the same but spins on her hands, knocking four ninjas she found to the ground. "I should get style points for that one." She says getting up on her feet again.
"Stop showing off." Leo said jokingly.
"But it's fun." She does it again; knocking more out and stands up shortly after. She looks down at the unconscious bodies. "And it's rather effective."
"How about you help me out over here!" Leo complains. Bianca is about to go after him but sees Mikey get tackled behind a control unit by ninjas.
"Hold that thought." She calls to Leo and hops over the control panel. She and Mikey beat the crap out of the ninjas, sending them flying back and even towards Leo where the flying bodies help take out Leo's oncoming enemies.
"Thanks dudette." Mikey says sitting up and leaning his arms on the dashboard. Bianca pops up next to him, and does the same.
"Where'd you be without me?" Bianca smirks.
"Getting my shell kicked, that's where!" Mikey laughs. Bianca looks over and see reinforcements from a higher level had arrived and were dropping down to the ground floor.
"Let's keep going, definitely enough baddies to go around." Bianca said getting up and flipping her weapons in her hands. She and Mikey charge forward and start fighting together. Despite their many bickering moments, they fight rather well together.
"Donny, do your thing!" Leo notions. Donny uses his staff to fly over the ninjas blocking his path, he gets to a ninja at a computer and throws the man out of the seat, taking his place. Then a ninja flies into the dashboard next to Donny.
"You mind; I'm working here." Donny complains as Mikey and Bianca come over, since it was the ninja they both kicked in the gut.
"Sorry." Mikey shrugs.
"Not our fault they won't land where we tell them to." Bianca smirks.
"Hey, I got an idea." He whispers his idea to Bianca and her eyes widen.
"Doesn't sound very safe." Bianca says crossing her arms.
"Probably isn't." He smirks at her. She pauses.
"Oh well, sounds way to fun to pass up." She smirks and sits in the chair. She hangs on to the edges. "Ready for launch." Mikey kicks the chair with a loud,
"Cowabunga!" The chair goes flying and Bianca has a hard time keeping her eyes open.
"Raphie: around the world!" Bianca said charging towards where Raph was fighting off a squad of ninjas.
"You got it!" Raph grabbed the back of the chair once she got close enough and swinging it around so that Bianca could kick the enemies in the way. He sling shot her out again, but this time spinning around. "Uptown express comin' through!"
"This, is really, nauseating." Bianca managed to say while spinning and holding her arms out, making sure not to let go of her tonfas; her legs were hooked around the base of the chair. She was still managing to hit a lot of ninjas even though she wasn't in control. The chair was headed towards Leo. He flipped over it.
"Not exactly what you planned?" He kicked the back of the chair and it sent Bianca in another direction.
"Bleh, you can say that…" She choked. She was going straight again, but faster than before. Suddenly more ninjas were headed her way and she was lashing out to the sides with her tonfas. She saw a shadow on the ground fly over her; she noticed it had a tail. She flattened her back and he landed surprisingly light on her back. He then began to fight.
"Hi sensei…this is, probably the weirdest thing to happen." Bianca says awkwardly as she looks under the chair and sees the ninjas falling onto the ground due to Master Splinter.
"It is not my typical way of fighting, but we must improvise with what we have." Splinter chuckled as he continued to fight. "Now, if I may use you as a spring board."
"No problem." Bianca said knowing what to do and she straightened her back quickly and Splinter flipped off. She watched him land safely on the ground. She turned around and found herself heading towards a wall. "I should bail too…" She squatted on the chair and flipped off of it before she became acquainted with the wall. She flipped three times in the air and then as she hit the ground with her feet she flipped again, trying to gain balance. It didn't work, but before falling on her butt, someone from behind caught her, holding her by her arms. She looked up at Leo. "Good catch."
"You're lucky, you know that?"
"I'm not lucky, you're my angel, and you'll always come to my rescue." She said smiling. "Now, if you could rescue my back from breaking." Leo blinked, coughed, then brought her up safely. "Thanks." She said cracking her back.
"Well, that was refreshing." Raph said satisfied with the fight ending.
"No doubt more will be on the way." Splinter assumed.
"Not with Don and April's super awesome nerdy powers cutting off the building from one another." Bianca commented smiling at her geeky turtle friend.
"April, we need another way out." Donny said as he looked around. A moment passed, meaning April was answering. "Got it." He kicks open a vent. He goes in first.
"It's not stable to hold all of us." Bianca said approaching the vent slowly.
"We'll make do." Raph said, following after his brother.
"Great…I love improvising…" Bianca sighed. She crawled after Mikey and Leo and Splinter were behind her, there was a hold up though. "I swear if you don't move I'll kick your butt forward, Mikey!"
"No need for dat, we're here." Raph calls back to her. Bianca looks past Mikey to see Raph fall off the edge.
"Raph!" Bianca panicked.
"It's okay dudette, the ground's just below." Mikey calmed her down. He went next. Bianca crawled to the edge and looked down. Mikey, Raph and Don landed safely.
"Oh, okay." Bianca laughed spitefully as she rolled her eyes. "Hey, the ground's not 'just below', Mikey!" Mikey shrugged like it was no big deal. Bianca knew if she attempted jumping down from this height, she would die, or all the bones in her body would be broken.
"Here, use this." Leo passed her a grappling hook. She looked back at him thankfully and took it. she sat on the edge of the vent cautiously and swung the rope until it hooked onto a pipe above her.
"Okay, just pretend it's a swing, or a rope in gym class." Bianca whispered to herself as she breathed slowly to calm down a bit, her nerves were climbing into her throat quickly. She shimmied off the edge and went swinging like Tarzan. She panicked when a vertical pipe was coming in close. She maneuvered herself so she was able to bend the rope around the pipe and she turned around and she let go. When Bianca got to the ground, her shoes squeaked for her to stop as she slid a little bit. Once she gained her balance and stopped moving, she breathed in happily. Realizing she had an audience, she quickly composed herself, acting like it was nothing. Leo and Splinter joined them soon after and everyone took in their new surroundings.
"It's like I died and went to techno geek heaven." Donny breathed happily as he glanced around the room. Raph whistled.
"Whoa, a turtle could kick some serious butt with this stuff." Raph was very impressed with the fine artillery.
"Pretty…" Bianca mused as she approached an object.
"Don't touch." Donny said slapping her hand away.
"Ow…but-"
"No." Donny cut off Bianca before she could argue. She pouted.
"What do you think this one does?" Mikey said, copying what Bianca just did, but was able to successfully touch a weapon displayed on a platform.
"That answer your question lame brain?" Leo complained behind Mikey.
"See, that could've been you." Don commented.
"Good point. Thanks." Bianca whispered. The group continued on further, not wanting to take away precious time by wasting time staring at weapons.
"Come my children, we must keep on the move." Splinter chided. They walked for a moment before Splinter stopped in place. "Wait…"
"What is it sensei?" Leo asked curiously.
"I sense, a presence." Splinter replied ominously.
"I wish he was wrong but, we're definitely not alone…" Bianca could also sense someone nearby. She couldn't figure out where the person or people were but they were close. They stood still for a moment and waited.
"Nobody here but us turtles, and girl, and rat." Mikey stated. They continued to walk again, until Splinter stopped everyone once more.
"NO, something is here." Splinter stated, sniffing the air skeptically.
"I'm positive that I feel eyes on the back of my skull." Bianca commented.
"Something that cannot be seen…" Splinter mused.
"Foot Tech Ninjas!" Donny concluded loudly. Suddenly they were attacked and everyone was knocked to the ground mysteriously.
"God I hate it when you're right…" Mikey groaned as he got up.
"Don't worry guys, I came prepared for these freaks." Donny was looking through his bag when it's taken away from him. "No." Donny then proceeds to be thrown into a wall. Mikey is fighting a ninja and flips onto platform elevators and went up high so the ninja couldn't reach him.
"Ha! In your face invisible man! Smoked your transparent butt!" Mikey.
"Ahem." Came a voice from behind Mikey. He turned around and a ninja, with no cloaking was standing there with his arms crossed.
"Ah, shell…" Mikey then gets kicked off the lift and lands on his shell. Splinter goes to help him but gets knocked down by a sneaky ninja. Leo then tries to help his master but get knocked down as well, near where Raph just landed.
"They're toying with us." Leo says annoyed.
"Yeah, well it's time to use some toys on them!" Raph declares as he runs off to the side where a hover cycle was stationed and he jumps on it. "Hang on, I've gotcha back!" He calls out once he's in the air. Bianca looks up at him and sees another one next to where he just took off. She sprints over to it, hops on and floats into the air.
"Me too!" Bianca calls out, trying to figure out how to shoot.
"You're not even licensed!" Raph yelled over his shell.
"Neither are you, at least I've taken lessons!" Bianca says as she's flying around and just resorts to knocking down boxes, hoping to hit someone. Then her switch goes off accidentally and she shoots out a beam of blue energy and it causes a box to explode. She smiles happily and does it again, this time she and Raph saw where the guys were in trouble and shot there. The guys moved out of the way and they struck two of the tech ninjas.
"Way to go you two, the lasers is messing up their cloaking controls." Donny cheered as the ninjas short-circuited. Raph's lasers were out of control though.
"Hey bro, now you just gotta work on your aim!" Mikey said as he and his brothers and sensei were leaping like frogs.
"Calm your trigger happy fingers!" Bianca yelled as she dodged the beams.
"I'm tryin'!" Raph complains as he's spinning out of control.
"Try harder! Push the button again!" Bianca yells. Raph pushes a random button in the center and it stops. "You're welcome." She smirks.
"I only see two, where is the third ninja?" Splinter asked as he scanned the area. Through the smoke came a large tank type machine with robotic arms and other lasers attached to its exterior.
"Aw man, theirs is bigger than ours…" Bianca sighs sadly.
"Yeah but we are way faster den they are." Raph counters. Bianca smiles and they start to try and attack the robot. Unfortunately the ninja fires a missile and it was heading straight for Raph's cycle. "Time ta get the shell outta here!" He jumps off and sprawls in the air as his ride goes bouncing off the walls.
"Grab on!" Bianca calls out as she maneuvers in the air to catch Raph. He lands on the wing and situates himself behind Bianca. "You better hang on!" He instantly wraps his arms around her torso and she tenses quickly but continues focusing on her target. A missile was heading her way and she speeds out of the way, but it's a heat seeker. So she heads towards a wall and then pulls up with all her might and flies up the wall and flips back so she's straight again, facing the wall.
"Watch it will ya, I'm gonna hurl." Raph complains as he grips her tighter though with one hand covering his mouth.
"Not on me you're not, if you want to go puke your brains out then get off my ride!" Bianca cringes as she slaps his leg. She was going to jab him in the gut but she thought that it wouldn't help Raph in his situation. Finally Raph's old ride collides with the ceiling and a huge hole appears.
"Always thought this room could use a skylight." Mikey joked, but Mikey gets put down for the pun due to a ninja kicking him in the gut.
"Hang on Mikey, I came prepared." Donny said scrambling through his finally retrieved bag. He throws a green shuriken with a red light on it and its hits the ninja in the chest and electrocutes him. "Electric counter shock shuriken: instant short circuit."
"Aw man I gotta have me one of those!" Bianca cheered, impressed with her brainiac friend.
"Don, get him before he—AH!" Leo is cut off when a ninja hit him and Splinter, who thought they had the upper hand. Leo unfortunately gets thrown into a structure that he destabilized by colliding into it and it falls on him. Raph freaks out and demands to get closer to the ground. Not wanting to argue, Bianca lowers the vehicle and he rolls off and over to his brother.
"Don't worry bro, we'll getcha out." Raph calls out as he hustles over to the collapse, though the tank is heading that way too. Fearing for his sons, Master Splinter jumps up and tries to take over the controls but he's thrown off by the ninja.
"He's so gonna pay!" Bianca growls as she takes a shot at the ninja. She charges for the control center and she catches the ninja between the split blades of the laser. "This better work!" She stops it short and he goes flying into a wall. Not taking time to celebrate her victory, she swerves, turning around and then going for a shot at the bionic tank she thankfully hits it and it stops working completely. "WOOHOO!" Bianca cheers.
"Nice shootin' Tex." Donny complimented.
"Much obliged." Bianca said pretending to tip a cowboy hat at him. They're interrupted however by a rumble shaking the floor and another tank heads their way. "Aw c'mon I just saved the day." Bianca groaned. It takes a shot but the guys are too quick and jump out of the way safely, only to land in an ambush set up by the invisible ninjas.
"Yo Donny, can't cha shock 'em?" Raph complains as he gets tangled in a fight on his own.
"Not if I can't see them." Donny countered as he got thrown to the ground.
"I'll take care of that." Leo comply as he heads over to the wall and picks up some fire extinguishers. "Raph, Bianca, think fast!"
"On it!" Leo throws them in the air and both Raph and Bianca take one of their weapons and throw it, successfully puncturing the canisters and they explode, rendering the cloaking devices useless. They all get knocked to the ground and are finally defeated.
"Excellent work my children." Master Splinter complimented.
"And we put out all the fires too." Mikey added cheekily.
"Which way now?" Donny asked. Before anyone could answer, Bianca lowers the vehicle to the ground and hovers for a moment smiling.
"Going up!" She says with a thumb pointing up. They smile at her and get on. She powers it up again and she flies them through the hole.
"I'm liking this way of travel, can we keep it?" Mikey said as he sat himself behind Bianca, though he was invading her space by leaning over her shoulder, looking at all the pretty light buttons.
"If you don't break it by pressing something!" She said swatting him away. "Hands to yourself…" She said elbowing him. They finally made it to the next floor and she hovered, letting everyone off first. She then gets off as its still flying and it starts to sink and eventually crashes to the ground.
"I thought we could keep it!" Mikey complained. Bianca turned around, fanning the air from the rising smoke.
"I lied…besides, we don't need that, and I'm sure a heck not gonna let them keep it." Bianca answered simply. Mikey pouted and the rest of the gang moved on and examined their new location. There were tubes in the center with green liquid and shadowed bodies inside them. There were monitors surrounding the tubes.
"What is this place?" Master Splinter asked cautiously.
"Anyone getting déjà vu from the catacombs? Genetics lab kind of déjà vu?" Bianca questioned as she tapped the test tubes with her nail while examining them.
"Bianca might be right, this looks just like a Foot Genetics lab." Donny agreed.
"Are you saying this is just like that abandoned lab we found deep under the city?" Leo asked in shock.
"Dah, dah, dah, DUHHHHH." Mikey mused. Raph flicked the back of his head.
"Knock it off Mikey." He groaned. Then an alarm went off.
"Mikey why do you always feel like poking where you shouldn't be?" Bianca complained, turning to him with her hands on her hips.
"I didn't touch anything, honest!" He said defensively, holding up his arms. The test tubes opened up and the green substance spilled out, everyone stepped away quickly.
"Ew, okay, I do NOT want to step in this." Bianca complained as she stood on her tippy toes. Then the figure that was shrouded in the green substance jumped out of the tube and squatted on the ground.
"Is that the Shredder?" Mikey asked a bit panicked.
"I don't think so, Mikey. Though they might be his genetic clones." Donny concluded as they watched the others emerge from their slumber as well.
"Might be?" Raph asked, getting ready to fight.
"Hey Donny, got anything in your bag of tricks to deal with this?" Mikey squirmed as he and the rest of the gang stepped backwards slowly.
"I doubt if anything could…" Bianca shuddered as she looked at the deformed creatures. "I'm starting to doubt if we can deal with this."
