Kiyomi followed Zero towards the headmasters house surprised that he would want her to come eat supper with them but she supposed that it was only because he wanted to get to know her since she was new. She followed him into a house and looked around curiously as he led her to a dining room with a small tabby that could sit six. The chair next to Zero was empty so she decided to sit there hoping that she would be able to get to know Zero a little better. "So Zero, how old are you?" she asked him trying to start a conversation.
"17," he grunted poking at the food on his plate.
"Oh, that's good, I'm 16," she told him awkwardly. She really did like him but it seemed that it wouldn't be easy to break down the walls that he had put around himself.
Zero just grunted and continued to stare down at the food that he was poking at.
Kiyomi let out a sigh and stared down at her own food that she hadn't even touched. She didn't really understand why Zero was so closed off from everyone but she supposed that maybe something like what had happened to her had probably happened to him. After he parents had died she had withdrawn into herself but she had come to this school to change things and she was to stubborn to go back to avoiding everyone like they had some disease. She decided to give up on him for the night but she would try again tomorrow. Letting out a sigh she looked up at the headmaster. "Headmaster Cross before I came here I heard that they're were two classes, is that true?" she asked.
"Yes, we have the day class and the night class," Headmaster Cross told her.
"Why?" she wondered confused.
"We just do," Yuki told her.
"Oh...okay," she told them before glancing at Zero noticing that he now seemed angry. 'I wonder what he could be angry about,' she thought. She ate some of the food that had been laid in front of her before excusing herself. "I'm really tired I think I'll go to my room now and get some sleep," he told them.
"Can you find the way back?" Yuki asked her.
"Yes, I remember the way back," she told them.
"Okay, me and Zero will see you in the morning. We'll meet you in the morning to show you where your classes are," Yuki told her.
"Okay," she told Yuki not looking at the other girl.
"You're uniform will be sent up you should have it by tomorrow morning," Headmaster Cross told her.
"Thank you," Kiyomi told them before making her get away. She was heading towards the door when she heard footsteps and she whipped around to see that Zero had followed her.
"Did I startle you?" Zero asked her.
"Not really. What do you want?" she asked him confused to why he had followed her.
"I just noticed that you seemed in kind of a rush to get away," Zero told her.
"I was, I am kind of tired," she told him looking down.
"Okay than well I guess I'll see you tomorrow, and don't think I don't know what you're doing it won't work," Zero told her.
"What are you talking about and why not?" she asked him totally confused.
"Just trust me it won't work," he told her before walking away.
Kiyomi watched him go stunned than she just shook her head and walked outside. 'I wonder what he meant about that and how could he even tell what I was doing?' she asked herself lost in her own thoughts. She had almost reached her dorm when she thought she heard something. She came to a complete halt and turned her head towards the forest that lay beyond the wall. She heard the sound again and realized it was coming from the other side of the way. 'Maybe I should see what it is?' she thought heading towards the wall.
She looked the wall over and realized that it would be really hard to scale the wall but she could see a tree right next to the wall and one of the branches went right over the wall. 'Climbing the tree would be easier,' she thought heading over to the tree. She quickly climbed up the tree until she had reached the branch that went over the wall. Taking a deep breath she slowly crawled along the branch and peered down accidentally losing her balance and falling to the ground. She closed her eyes expecting to hit the ground but instead she found herself in someones arms.
Her eyes flew open and she was surprised to see a guy she didn't even know. If it had been Zero she wouldn't have really minded but she suddenly found herself angry at this unknown person for catching her. Glowering she quickly hoped out of his arms and glared at him. "Who are you?" she demanded getting ready to punch the guy if he tried to touch her again.
He opened his mouth to answer but before he could answer something slammed into her and she withered on the ground as she saw something with glowing red eyes snapping at her neck. Before she get him off her a loud bang rang out and the thing on top of her turned into sand. Her eyes widened and she jumped to her feet brushing the sand off her.
"Why did you not go to your room, I don't have time to keep saving stupid girls," Zero said it appeared that he was the one who had shot that thing on top of her.
She looked up at him and than at the other guy. "What was that thing?" she asked calming down and her voice surprisingly didn't waver.
"A level E vampire," Zero said.
