TMNT: the unexpected friendship

Chapter 17: Nonhuman Nature

Bianca had entered the void of darkness, though she wasn't aware of that at the moment. Her body was preserving itself, casting her into a sleep to block out the darkness, though the darkness had a way of fighting against it. It was agony for Bianca, in this void where she floated she struggled and tensed at the touch of darkness. There was no way of telling how long she could keep this up, it was seriously wearing her out. She wanted to scream out, but nothing left her voice. The only thing that she could do was pray, which is something she rarely did since she had never been religious, but she knew she needed help, and needed it now.

I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable

Reserve my right to be afraid

I make mistakes

And I am humbled

Every step of the way

She heard the voice singing to her, it was calm, but not one she recognized.

"Go on. If you are safe then respond, I know you know what comes next." The voice was right, she did.

I want to be a better person

I wanna know the master plan

Cast your stones, cast your judgments

You don't make me who I am

She found that it hurt less to sing than trying to do anything else, she was also gaining strength from singing.

"That's it, keep going."

I reserve my right to feel uncomfortable

Reserve my right to be afraid

I make mistakes

And I am humbled

Every step of the way

I want to be a better person

I wanna know the master plan

Cast your stones, cast your judgments

You don't make me who I am

A ferocious call echoed through the void and the darkness strayed away from Bianca's form. With unknown strength that didn't feel like her own, she was able to open her eyes as a giant fiery inferno was coming her way. Even though it was coming straight for her, Bianca was not afraid, this reminded her of something she experienced long ago. She opened her warms wide for the embrace and the fire engulfed her. it carried her down further into the darkness and finally the fire exploded on the ground of the dark abyss. Once the fire simmered Bianca was left unharmed and she was cradling something warm and soft.

When she opened here eyes, she was caressing the head of a giant bird. It definitely wasn't something she was expecting but she didn't show fear or surprise, she was utterly curious about the creature. She lifted her cheek form the top of its extended head and stared at the bird in awe. The bird lifted its head out of Bianca's hands and stared at her with fiery irises. They astounded her, like the next thing that happened.

"I am so sorry." The voice she knew was definitely coming from the bird, though his beak did not move, he was telepathically speaking to her.

"You're sorry?"

"Yes, for I could not prevent this horrible abyss from consuming you."

"It's not your fault. It was inevitable, thanks to Shredder."

"I have to get you out of here, but you will have to listen to me." Bianca paused at the plea.

"What do I need to do?"

"You need to let me take control, just for now. Once you are out of danger, I will come back, and we will talk more."

"If that's what it takes, then so be it, as long as you come back."

"You will never be truly alone. We are one."

"We are?"

"Yes, my spirit rests inside you, we have always been together, I was just asleep, until now." The bird leaned its golden head to her forehead and she felt a warm light glow from within her and it made her smile.

"Wow." She breathed, closing her eyes. "Well, it's nice to finally meet you."

"Like wise."

It took some time and some handiwork from Master Splinter using the sword of Tengu, but they defeated the crazy spirits. They found a secret elevator and were finally able to make it to the top floor. They exit the elevator and turn to the only door in the small hallway. Leo walks up to it first and busts it down with his foot. The guys follow suit and enter the room, armed and ready. They scan the silent room until puffs of smoke appear around the room.

"Shredder's elite guard." Leo breathed as the familiar red and black dressed ninjas appeared with their eccentric hats.

"You can do it bro, we're all in dis together." Raph encouraged.

"You don't know how true that is, freak." Hun said. The turtles turned around to see Hun in the busted down doorway cracking his knuckles. The gang looked from Hun to the Elite guard ninjas standing still in the room.

"What are they waitin' for?" Raph asked impatiently.

"Orders." Leo said simply.

"Astute as usual, Leonardo." Came the bellowing voice of their most hated enemy. He stepped out of the shadows with his armor glistening in the fire lighting the room. The Shredder had officially arrived. "I do not know how you managed to survive our last encounter, but I can assure you, you will not survive this one."

"Your elite guard will not stop me, Oroku Saki." Master Splinter threatened as he stepped in front of his sons protectively.

"Will this change your mind?" Shredder walked over to a large mass covered in a black cloak. He ripped it off to reveal a giant gold birdcage, and lying in the cage was their friend, chained by her wrists and ankles.

"No…" Leo breathed.

"Bianca!" Raph roared. His brother were too worried to say anything but stare, completely terrified.

"You will not take another family member away from me!" Master Splinter shouted.

"No sensei, this is one I need to lead." Leo stated, placing an arm around of his sensei and readying his weapons.

"Elite; attack!" Shredder threw down his arm and the elite guard charged forward. Each elite guard took on their own turtle, while Hun was left to Master Splinter to take care of.

"Ha, missed." Mikey mocked but as he stepped back, his shell collided with one of the stands holding a bowl of fire, and the bowl fell off and knocked Mikey to the ground. "Ow…" Splinter heads over to Mikey to make sure he's okay. Hun picks him up and laughs, Splinter tries to strike, but Hun takes his wooden staff and throws it to the side. Leo trips over Donny's bag that got tossed away during his fight and Leo looked up to see the elite guard stalking closer to Leo.

"NO! You may destroy me, but I will not live, in fear!" Leo then kicked the ninja back and he collided with one of the support beams.

"Me neither." Raph said as he was able to get out of the hold the elite guard was able to trap him in. master Splinter slipped out of his robe that Hun had a hold of and then proceeded to round house kick Hun in the chest twice, sending him to the ground and dropping his robe.

"In the words of the ancient master: it ain't over til it overs." Master Splinter taunted as he got ready to fight again, tying his band around his body to close the robe he wears properly. Suddenly in the center of the room, the ground shatters and gigantic cyborg rises out of the center, facing where Shredder was observing the fight.

"What is this?" Shredder protests as he scans the cyborg for answers, he finally sees the cyborg's face and growls, "Baxter Stockman!"

"In the flesh, so to speak." Stockman joked.

"You will pay for the false report of the turtles' demise, however, you can redeem yourself. Destroy the turtles!" Shredder ordered.

"You blind, ignorant, self-important fool." Stockman mock laughed. "I didn't make this suit to help you Shredder, I made it to destroy you; for every punishment you inflicted on me I will make you suffer for ten fold." Stockman threatened pointing his cyborg finger at Shredder's chest. "You will finally learn to respect my superior intellect."

"Stockman! I will have your head for this!" Shredder roared.

"No Shredder; I'll have yours." Stockman then realized he had his back to his other targets. "And you, meddlesome creatures, you have interfered with my plans for the last time." He snarled.

"You believe this guys' rap? Whack job city." Mikey complained.

"You'll all pay, all of you! Not one of you will leave this room alive. You will all be crushed by the genius that is Baxter Stockman!" He laughs evilly.

"Dangerous whack job city." Donny corrected timidly.

"Do you know the best thing about my brilliant plan? I used your Shredder." Stockman mocked, and you could see even from under Shredder's helmet his red irises widen. "To transform into this ultra cyborg you see before you; a truly superior work of genius! But all good things must come to an end. It's time to bid you adieu." Stockman sticks out his arm with the missile launcher and marks his targets.

"Incoming!" Raph yells as he and his family dodge to the sides, to escape the wrath of Stockman.

"Out of my way!" Stockman shot a hole in the ground and the elite guard fell through it. Shredder tries attacking from behind, Stockman sweeps his arms around and knocks Shredder into his banner above where he would sit and tears the foot insignia down. "Now where did Hun get to?" He scanned the room, like a lion hunting for his prey. He smiled wickedly when he found his prey. "There you are." Hun tried attacking with one of the fire staffs that are lined up around the room. It doesn't do anything and Stockman breaks the staff and holds Hun's collar. "I've been so looking forward to this. It's payback time."

"NO!" Hun screamed, regretting his ferocity towards the scientist. He's thrown against the wall roughly and Hun's instantly knocked out.

"Oh, that felt good." Stockman smiled as he sighed, pleased with this handiwork so far. "Now I'm going to take you apart: piece by piece. A lovely irony wouldn't you say?" Shredder attacks Stockman while he's too focused on Hun and Shredder slices at the glass dome over Stockman's head. Stockman stumbles slightly and drops Hun. The glass heals itself.

"What?" Shredder gasped.

"It's a self-healing polyacrylic. Just one of 31 patented items I have developed using your resources." Shredder growls. "You've made it all possible, Shredder! And you didn't suspect a thing: you pompous, overblown ignoramus. But it's about time for you to be reeducated in my brilliance!" Stockman simply slaps Shredder away and into the wall, knocking him out instantly.

"It took everythin' we had to take down the Shredder last time." Raph growled.

"And robo-nut just took him out in 4.5 seconds; the Shredder and Hun." Donny gasped as he looked to his family in shock.

"Uhm, can we go home now?" Mikey pleaded.

"And now, the freaks. It's most fortuitous that you're here, really. You're on my list of parties responsible for the recent misfortune in my life. The charges are: ruining my genius work, interfering with my brilliant schemes and hampering my destiny as the world's foremost criminal and scientific prodigy." They continue to fight and Mikey gets knocked to the ground by one of Stockman's many arms. He's sitting right at Stockman's feet, and Splinter notices and pushes Mikey out of the way before Stockman grabbed Mikey. Splinter ended up taking what would be Mikey's place.

"Master Splinter!" Donny cries out worriedly for his master as he helps Mikey up.

"NO!" Leo and Raph jump into action and free Master Splinter but get tossed aside as well.

"Is that all you've got?" Stockman taunted. Mikey and Donny from behind take our grappling hooks and toss them so they wrap around Stockman's mechanical legs tightly. "Rope, you try to stop me with rope?" He chuckles. "How positively primitive."

"I've got your primitive, right here!" Raph yells as he goes in to kick Stockman's chest. Stockman begins to wobble, as he sees he had perfectly positioned himself so that the hole he created to blast the elite guard away was behind him.

"Wh-whoa, whoa, No!" Stockman cried as he fell through the hole. The turtles and their sensei stood on one side of the hole while Shredder was on the other. The paused for a minute before looking from the hole to their enemy.

"That is one minor annoyance disposed of. Now to finish you fools." Shredder threatened as they all began to get ready again to fight. Though that would continue to wait as Stockman rose out of the hole using his jetpack.

"You insufferable nitwits! Dr. Baxter Stockman is not so easily dismissed! Kiss your shells goodbye, freaks!" Stockman continues to put up a decent fight before Leo slices off an arm after dodging the flamethrower, cutting off the revolving pistol. "My robotic arm! NO!" Stockman cries as he stares at the mechanical limb by his foot. "I-It's nothing, a momentary nuisance. My backup systems-" Suddenly Shredder cuts off his leg and Stockman begins to wobble, trying to keep his balance. While Stockman did that, Shredder headed over to Bianca's cage and opened the door. He entered saying,

"Now it's about time I took that precious light of yours and turned it into pure darkness." He puts his left thumb to her forehead and his other thumb and index finger on her temples. He concentrates and there's an exchange of energy and Shredder feels fired up. "That should do for now, I will return when I feel it is needed. You will forever more be my power supply, the perfect minion."

"HYAH!" Don, Raph, and Mikey charge and kick Stockman back at the same time, sending him out of the building through the wall.

"This is just a minor setback!" He calls as he falls.

"I'm gonna miss that guy…NOT!" Mikey joked as he walks away from the window satisfied with their job well done.

"Alright Shredder, let's finish this!" Leo demands.

"I intend to!" Shredder says, edging to fight again. Suddenly where the turtles were standing by the hole in the wall was shattered more as Stockman charged back into the room.

"My internal jet pack ray. I spared no expense, and why should I? After all, you were footing the bill, Shredder." Stockman mocked. He fires off more missiles and the explosions send everyone flying back.

"Man, can someone please shut down that giant flying toaster oven?" Mikey groaned as he tried stabling himself on the support beam he had just gotten thrown into.

"Maybe we can pull his plug." Donny hypothesized. He studied Stockman's cyborg body quickly and came up with a solution. "Leo, his exo-suit power supply; those radium power cells on his back."

"On it!" Leo called back as he already began running towards Stockman.

"You peons stand no chance against my vastly superior intellect. I Dr. Baxter Stockman shall – AH!" Stockman hacked as he realized that Leo flipped over him and cut off his pipes that connected the power source to the suit. Leo landed swiftly and Stockman fell to the ground on his front.

"Finally shut him down and shut him up." Mikey cheered happily. Though he was utterly disappointed when Stockman proceeded to get up off the ground.

"What do we have to do to stop this guy?" Leo growled impatiently.

"I have asked myself that question many times." Shredder sighed, getting fed up with Stockman's persistence.

"That ploy might've worked against a lesser mecha-noid, but once again I am one step ahead in my design work. In addition to the central power nodules, each component of my cyborg armor has its own internal back up power source." Stockman gloated as he looked at his body proudly.

"So, what you're saying is, this arm should be fully functional, right?" Donny asked casually as he walked over to the arm that Leo had cut off earlier in their fight.

"Oh no…" Stockman gaped at his stupidity.

"Fire in the hole!" Donny called as he fired up the cannon and Stockman was thrown into the wall. For what seemed like finally for the last time.

"Now where were we…? Oh yes…" Shredder breathed hungrily as he took out Donny and Raph in one roundhouse kick and then struck Mikey in the stomach. He bent over in pain and Shredder stood over him, ready to end him.

"Michelangelo, no!" Splinter called out as he used his staff to block the Shredder's bladed hand. Splinter and Shredder have an old fashioned stand off until finally they begin to fight again, but this time Shredder gets the better of Splinter and shoves him through the glass wall behind him.

"Master Splinter!" Donny called out frantically as his sensei began to fall.

"NO!" Leo takes the grappling hook from his belt and jumps out the window to save Master Splinter, while Donny and Mikey kick Shredder through the glass windows on the far side of the room and he falls out onto the patio. Donny, Mikey, and Raph follow through the hole and continue to avenge their father. However, Shredder's doing a good job at not staying down. He is the only left standing by the time Leo finds his way up the building. Before Leo could get angry enough to pull out his weapons, a few pieces of glass are heard breaking from the broken window. There's a shadow standing there.

"You should've thought of a better way to have restrained me." Came an odd sounding voice, to everyone hearing it, it sounded like two people were speaking in perfect unison. The voice threw something from their hands and it landed in the grass in front of her, they were gold cuffs with chains attached, but they were melted partially.

"What!" Shredder roared.

"Just because I am small, does not mean my strength is diminished." The figure stepped out into the light and onto the patio. Everyone was surprised as to who it was. She had her arms behind her back.

"Bianca?" Leo asked questioningly. He stared at her as she strolled past him calmly and without recognition.

"It doesn't matter, it was never meant to hold you forever, not until you were finally mine." Bianca, in a flash, is over where Shredder is and holds him by the neck against the trunk of a tree. "GAH!" He chocked.

"I am not one's possession, and I am not one to give into darkness. Did you think it would really be that easy? I wasn't even fully awake until now, so you've made a very, big mistake, messing with me." Bianca growled. The guys composed themselves and grouped together as they watched the scene unfold, not understanding what was happening with Bianca.

"Why do you side with such abominations?" Shredder growled.

"Not like you're better than them, you're scum off the bottom of my boot." Bianca said jabbing her elbow into his stomach, making the Shredder groan out painfully.

"How DARE you!" She elbows his stomach roughly again to get him to shut up, but when he didn't she continued to add pressure.

"Oh how dare I? How dare YOU for thinking you can control what you barely understand, this power, MY power, is beyond you. I am superior, you are a maggot, an infestation, a puppet to the darkness!"

"I control darkness, I swallow the light, and I will swallow the light that shines from within you." Shredder argued.

"Hm, I don't think so." She grabs his neck more firmly. "This is for before." She throws him far into the building again, not waiting for him to get up, she's by his side again. "And that, was for me." Bianca stomps her foot onto his stomach again and sends him through the floor. The guys followed her fight into the room again. She waved cheekily over to the boys but then heard something rising from the floor.

"OH, don't think I forgot about you, good doctor." She snarled as she didn't turn around to wave her hand back and slash the man with burning hot flames, sending him flying through the windows, with a huge explosion to justify the end of Dr. Stockman's interference. Something catches Bianca's eye and sees a window that wasn't shattered, she can see herself as she turns to face it fully.

"Hm, this is the first time really seeing myself, this is going to be getting used to." She plays with her hair slightly and then looks at her hands. "It's definitely more intricate and different from before. But what is the meaning of this," She looks down her shirt at the fabric over her chest. "Does it need to be this color? And why does she dress like this?" She complained, pulling at her clumpy clothing, her sweats and her jacket with tank top underneath. "From what I can recall this is the figure that most of the opposite sex claim desirable, is it not the same here?" She lifts up her shirt to reveal her toned stomach. She then turns sideways to glace at her profile. She moves her hair out of the way to get a better look.

"Ahem." Coughed a voice.

"Hm?" Bianca turned around, hands still knotted in her hair and shirt still partially up. She stares over at the turtles blankly. "Ah yes, so these are the friends." She composes herself and approaches slowly, hands behind her back.

"You're out of control." Leo said, trying to contain himself, he was flipping out on the inside.

"Yes, I do feel rather explosive, my body's not quite adjusted yet to this form." Bianca commented as she examined her hands and smirked to herself, she casually headed towards the patio again and the brothers followed her anxiously.

"What?" Raph growled. Bianca's head snapped up and she took her fingers and held them at his bare neck threateningly, adding pressure to prove her point.

"I would hurt you for using such a tone with me, but you seem to be her sweethearts, people she cares for, she wouldn't be happy if you were vanquished." She lets go of him and Raph coughs gruffly, trying not to make it obvious that he was by any means threatened.

"Where's Bianca?" Donny asked curiously, stepping in for his two brothers who were having a hard time containing their frustration and anger.

"Sleeping, I'm simply doing my job."

"You're what?" Leo gaped.

"My job, as I recall you do have those here? My job, like her guardian's, is to protect her from any spawn of darkness that comes in her wake; like that infestation over there. And that scoundrel from before in the catacombs of the Earth."

"Baldy?" Mikey asked curiously.

"Yes, though I am not sure that would be his name, there is no name like that in their language."

"So, what? You appear when Bianca's in real danger?" Donny theorized.

"She's always in real danger while she lingers around you and fights off these people. Though it was my time to wake up now."

"Time?" Raph asked. "But you were up before." He stated.

"Yes, that was what you would refer to as, a fluke. The crystals reacting with her body must have caused a reaction that woke me up for a mere moment, acting like white blood cells blocking out an infecting virus."

"So, you're on our side, right?" Mikey inquired.

"Correct, we are fighting the good fight against the darkness."

"The darkness? Don't you mean Shredder?" Leo asked.

"He is a spawn of the darkness, he has sold his soul to the purest of darkness to gain more power."

"She is right." The Shredder appeared at the edge of the building and walked down the steps to the patio casually. "The darkness was my gateway to power, it was drives me to push forward and has made me realize my ultimate goal: and you are in my way!" He charges forward and thrashes at the turtles and Bianca. Leo is furious with the turn of events and he slips on the glove he's also kept on his belt and unsheathes the sword of Tengu he kept safely on his shell.

"Get away from my brothers!" Leo calls out as he holds the charged up sword intimidatingly.

"The sword of Ten Gu." Shredder gasped. Leo lets the energy out of the sword and it strikes Shredder hard in the chest and sends him flying into the pond on the patio. "This cannot be happening, I cannot lose." He gasps as he gets out of the water and walks over to a statue and presses a button. A buzzing sound rings through the air as it gets louder and there seems to be more than just one thing buzzing. The gang looks up in the air and sees foot ninjas using the flying vehicles from before.

"Looks like we got company!" Raph growled, twirling his sais.

"We see them, April, but unfortunately it looks like they see us too!" Donny says into his comm. link.

"He cannot seem to ever play fair…" Bianca growls. They begin to shoot at the ground and everyone scatters. Raph heads for the roof's edge and leaps to grab one of the rides. He jumps onto a ride and knocks the guy out of the seat and chases after the others on his ride, shooting them down as he goes.

"Yeeha! I'm starting to get the hang of dis!" Raph cheers as he cruses around the tower to head back to his family, but he gets delayed when he's being chased. A guy strikes his vehicle and Raph bails before he could get blasted off. He falls for a bit but sees a ride coming his way, before he knocks the person off to drive himself he stops when the voice says,

"I have your back." Raph stops to stare at his friend. "Grab on." Raph didn't want to disobey and wrapped his arms around Bianca's waist.

"You almost sounded like here then." He laughs darkly.

"It was meant to." The combined voices said monotonously.

"Listen here creep don't you dare do anything to hurt her, you got it?"

"I would never dream of it, she is my sole purpose, I will protect her with my life."

"Well ye better." He grumbled. There wasn't much talk between the two of them for a moment while Bianca concentrated on hitting the foes chasing them. "Just, what are ya anyway?"

"In simple terms: I am a god, the reining protector of Itonami, I am the Sun Phoenix, as they have called me."

"A phoenix?" He reached his neck to get a better look at Bianca as she talked.

"Yes, you do have phoenixes here, do you not? The symbol of revival and rebirth; that is my purpose, a purpose Bianca and I both share." Raph was silent as he took in the new information, it wasn't easy to swallow, but he managed, for the moment. "Come, we are not finished with our fight. It will continue to wage if we do not make it back in time." Bianca turned the vehicle on a dime and headed back towards the patio, to continue helping out the rest of the turtles.

"Ah Leonardo…it is, unfortunate, that you did not join me when I offered you the chance." Shredder remarked darkly. "You could have served me well!"

"I would rather fall in battle with honor than serve you!" Leo spat.

"So be it." Shredder growled. "Elite ninja, to me!" A puff of smoke appeared behind Shredder as he stepped out of the way. Once it cleared, the elite ninjas were back, badder than ever. "Finish this." Bianca and Raph continued to come closer, but as Bianca veered closer to the patio, she got distracted and wasn't paying attention to the foot following them anymore and one shot their propeller underneath them and the vehicle started malfunctioning. Before they could take another shot, a blast from the patio came and shot down their follower. They followed where the blast came from and saw the brainiac himself.

"Yo Donny!" Raph waved as Bianca decided to leap off ship as it dove to the patio, same as Raph.

"Don't thank me, thank Stockman." Donny commented as he waved to them. They both landed swiftly on the ground and Raph continued to flip in the air and head towards where Leo was fighting off the elite guard by himself.

"Geronimo!" Raph called and busted up the fight. "Save some for me, Leo." Shredder was letting them fight as he tried to go over to where the vehicle landed where the sword of Tengu was situated. Bianca flipped over the Shredder with a fiery trail behind her and she landed protectively on top of the rubble.

"Do not think you will be getting near that so easily." She snarled as she pulled out her bladed tonfas; and so began what seemed to be their never-ending fight.

"I can finish this Raph!" Leo complained.

"I know, but where's the fun in that, bro?" Raph countered.

"We're family!" Donny chimed in as he joined the good fight.

"We finish this together, besides, the cable's out at the lair anyway." Mikey added as he struck a ninja to the ground.

"The sword, I must have it." shredder grunted as once again both his and Bianca's blade clashed in even strength. Bianca got clever though and flipped her wrists and knotted his bladed fist in her own blades and knocked him to the ground, farther from the pile of rubble covering his prize.

"It's over Shredder." Leo countered, finishing off the pile of elite guard members with his opponent. He and his brothers stalked over to the struggling tin monster.

"You are fools. This is my fortress, my stronghold! Did you believe you could defeat me here?" He twists an orb on a dragon statue and a platform rises and regular foot ninjas, but a lot of them, arrive.

"Aw, give me a break." Mikey whined.

"Well nobody said it was gonna be easy." Raph sighed. Suddenly a new figure joined the party and landed in a squat in front of the turtles and Bianca.

"Easy, no. But perhaps we can offer you a little assistance." Said their friendly neighborhood Guardian who always likes to pop up randomly.

"We?" Leo cued. Suddenly more guys in the same garb as their mysterious friend showed up and they all pulled out neon blue glowing swords out of their jackets.

"Thank you, Guardians, for we owe you much." Bianca mused with a bow added.

"It is our pleasure, sir." The Guardian says as he bows in respect, for he knew who for now was in control of Bianca. "But should you be getting to your people by now?" He inquired. Bianca rolled here eyes slightly and shooed him with her hand.

"It will have to wait, she still does not know, it would not be a wise decision for them to meet just yet." The Guardian simply nodded.

"Hurry, we must keep the Shredder away from the sword of Tengu."

"I'll take care of Shredder!" Leo ordered more than suggested.

"Guardians: Go!" The leader of the Guardians called out and the Guardians leaped into action and started fighting the foot ninjas.

"The sword, the sword!" While everyone was distracted with fighting some more of Shredder's flunkeys, Shredder himself was rummaging through the pile of rubble looking for the sword of Tengu. Finally after removing one last piece of burnt metal, he uncovered his prize. He lifted in his hands, and he was stunned with the endless power that flowed through him. "Ah, the power, I had almost forgotten." He smiled wickedly from under his helmet. The gang at this time realized what had happened and charged over to where the Shredder was standing. "The sword of Tengu, the sword with which I laid villages to waste, brought castles to the ground, vanquished armies, the sword that I used to conquer Japan, and give power to the Tokugawa Clan. It is mine once more!" The gang charged forward, making sure to try and avoid the awful blast of energy that radiates from the sword. The fight is hard, as nothing seems to stop the Shredder from fighting on and using the sword's magical powers. Mikey gets underhanded and Leo jumps into action without thinking yelling,

"No!" Thankfully he was able to save Mikey from utter destruction and is able to hold Shredder in a stalemate. Then he's able to slice at the Shredder and it does some damage, since Shredder was devoting his attention to the sword. "Getting close, it's the only way." Leo shouted to his family. The rest of the gang nodded and got what to do. eventually after following Leo's lead, they were standing on their own effortlessly as Shredder was being overwhelmed. Donny from behind was able to knock the sword out of the Shredder's hands and it soared through the air.

"Leo, catch!" Donny called out as he tossed Leo the glove. Leo caught it, quickly slipped it on, and then caught the sword, gaining control of the magical energy again. In the process Leo had to drop his swords to gain control and focus on the sword of Tengu, so Shredder obtained Leo's weapons. Now that they were both with weapons again, they stood for a moment, waiting for the right moment before they charged forward, leapt into the air and struck each other with their weapons. They passed by each other and they both landed on the ground, though something else landed on the ground: The Shredder's helmet. The rest of his body crumpled to the ground lifelessly and Leo didn't give a moment before going over to the body and retrieving his weapons. The guys stood around for a moment as everyone else who witnessed the fight just stared.

"They've done it, they have defeated the Shredder. Incredible." Said the Guardian leader. Bianca who had taken a step back to observe the fight crossed her arms and stared curiously.

"Yes, quite so." She murmured.

"Just one thing left to do." Leo sighed as he headed down the stairs with his family. His brother followed.

"Make sure the Foot can never use this building for anything ever again." Raph growled as he watched his brother tamper with the mechanical arm still left over from Stockman's super suit.

"Stockman's radium power cells coupled with the power of the sword of Tengu, should fry most of the tech in this building." He summarized as he walked over to a power source on the patio, he ripped open the side of it and attached wires from the cyborg arm to the inside of the source.

"Let 'er rip Leo!" Donny shouted as he watched the cyborg arm charge up. Leo stood by the cyborg arm and launched the sword of Tengu into the arm, it sparked violently and the whole place began to spark with the sword's electrical powers and the whole building shut down.

"Let's get Master Splinter and go home." Leo announced after a moment when everything had calmed down. His brothers and Bianca nodded and followed Leo to where they had left their sensei.

"Finally, this place will be left to waste." Bianca sighed as she glanced one last time at the disgusting building. As they approached the ledge where Leo had dropped off Master Splinter, all they found was a wooden stick, but no sign of their wounded master.

"Hey, wait a minute…" Leo bent down and looked at the stick and gingerly took it in his hands. "I don't understand, I left him right here, he was in no shape to move."

"How can he be gone?" Mikey asked, not sure to believe that his father was all of a sudden missing. Sirens could be heard blaring from down below them. Donny peered over the ledge and saw cop cars swarming the scene.

"Guys, we can't stay here, we have to go." Donny said with slight panic rising in his voice, though he wasn't happy to be leaving such a place with such an unanswered question. Leo stood up after a moment of struggling to move on.

"Donny, the helicopter." Leo whispered as he turned away from his other brothers who had only wished to comfort him. Leo couldn't face that right now and everyone walked on sadly to the helicopter. When everyone boarded and Don took off, that's when Raph decided to turn things for the positive.

"We did it Leo, we defeated Shredder." He sighed, looking out the window at the Foot Tower still slightly on fire as helicopters swarmed the rooftops.

"But the price was too high." Leo sighed as he stared at the wooden staff, now being clenched in his fists.

"You don't think Master Splinter is…" Mikey thought aloud, but stopped himself since ending that thought would only make him feel worse than he already did.

"I don't know Mikey, I truly don't know." Leo answered immediately.

"You should not downcast the importance of winning the battle." Bianca spoke up.

"Ya kidding, we won the war!" Mikey argued.

"War with darkness is never won, it is subdued until it wishes to rise again. Darkness can never be truly gone." Bianca sighed.

"You sound like Master Splinter." Donny stated, looking at Bianca through the rearview mirror.

"Yes, for he is very wise and knowledgeable of such infestations."

"Gr, will you please get out of Bianca's head! It's driving me insane! Let her go." Raph roared as he stood out of his chair to glare at the fiery figure inside his friend. Bianca stared at him blankly as did his brothers.

"I cannot let her go, for she and I are bonded together, for eternity. But I shall relinquish my control for now, until another time. It would be best to not speak of this moment to her, she will not believe you, let alone want to believe you. I must confront her myself."

"And how do you suppose you do that?" Raph asked with edge still lingering in his voice.

"A deep sleep should do the trick. Leave her be until she is ready to be awakened. From then, she will have to tell you herself of her thoughts." Suddenly the energy started to drain out of Bianca's eyes as they then proceeded to roll to the back of her head.

"But-" Leo protested as he stood up and looked at his friend, now fully unconscious and looking pretty pale.

"Bi, Bi!" Raph shook her shoulders frantically. Then when he realized she wasn't going to wake he stopped and sighed and punched the side of the helicopter in frustration.

"Maybe we should just listen to him, he doesn't seem to want to hurt her." Donny theorized.

"Yeah but what is he? He said he's some sort of god, can we even believe him?" Raph huffed as he didn't look at anyone, just staring at his hands gripping the front of Leo's seat, his knuckles starting to turn white (if a turtle's knuckles can turn white, or maybe a lighter green?).

"I'm not sure." Leo sighed.

"Bianca was so cool though, spewing out fire and lashing out at the Shredder and Stockman like that!" Mikey said imitating her slashing her arms in the air and punching with fire.

"Knock it off Mikey." Raph said hitting the back of Mikey's head and kicking his seat roughly.

"What?" He complained. The rest of the flight was fairly quiet.

still would love to hear what you guys think for a title, also tell me if i need more descriptions in this chapter, i realized i've made mistakes in my past chapters that i need to go back to and edit, so if anyone has some stuff to change in this chapter, that'd be great.

love you all and next chapter should be up soon. oh and for those who've read my journal on dA, i've decided to stick with going to space, i think i'll make the AU dream in the 1920s of a bonus chapter or a spin off one shot or something. something like that :)
