Riley's POV
I wake up to screaming, I don't figure out who it is until I look at Talia, who's in my arms.
"Please no! Please, please" She screams out. I quickly shake her
"Talia, it's a dream" I shout at her. Her eyes pop open to see me on top of her body. Tears leak out of her eyes, I wipe them away with me thumb and I lay back down, pulling her back into my chest. The gunshot doesn't hurt, the only thing that does it my throat and my muscles are kind of sore, from not moving them in over a month. I feel so bad for her, she got pregnant and I wasn't there for her, then last night I called her terrible names. I can't picture my life without her.
"Tell me what happened my love" I whisper to her.
"I've been having dreams for the last couple nights. Today's was about you getting shot. There was this man, he had a gun to your head and I was stuck in a cage thing. He said he was going to cut my baby out of me, so that you could watch, then I would die from the blood loss. And I think you know what the rest would be" I nod, guessing the rest.
"I'm so sorry baby" I hug her.
"Go back to sleep if you want to. I'll fight off the nightmares. Dream about our baby" I say lightly, rubbing her back, she nods then smiles and melts into my arms, drifting off to sleep.
Talia's POV
I wake up once again after my nightmare to an empty bed. No, this all couldn't have been just a dream. I get out of the bed quickly and sprint out of the room. In the kitchen I see Riley with his wrap around his chest, I sigh. I thought that he was still in the hospital, in a coma. He must hear me, because he turns around, with a mug in his hand and smiles. He puts the cup on the counter and and opens his arms. I walk into them willingly, he squeezes me and I squeak, smiling. I pull back with a big smile on my face, I'm really happy that he loves that I'm having a baby.
"I love you" I say kissing his cheek, taking a sip of the coffee, it warms my hands. I smile bigger.
"I love you too, do you want to go have breakfast in the dining hall? I don't think many people know that I'm even awake" I nod smiling. I was sick of crying, so now I hope I can continue to smile.
"Have you gone to the doctor to see how the baby is? Do you know the gender yet?" I smile thinking about our baby.
"No, I don't know the gender yet. I have to be about 4 months. I've been there, Lance is my doctor again" He nods and goes back into the master bedroom, when he comes out he's wearing a black v-neck that shows off his muscles. He grabs my hand and I put the coffee on the counter, while we make our way down to the dining hall. Once we get there it's strangely quiet, until Riley and I step into the room. Everyone cheers and Riley gets pulled away from me, I look to see that it was Daniel and Mason who took him, Melissa walks over to me smiling.
"What did I tell you? I believe I owe you a 'told ya so'" She smirks at me, then looks back over to Riley. She smiles and I can tell that she's smiling at Mason, not Riley. Oh my god, her and him had sex.
I pull her down to a table and a seat."Melissa! You and Mason had sex last night" She blushes, but then shakes her head.
"Yeah, but it wasn't the first time" She snorts. "Please Tal, not everyone needs to wait cause of a certain fear, if you know what I mean" She raises her eyebrow, I slap her shoulder.
"Melissa! Shut up, and obviously I got over it" I motion to my stomach, where Riley and my baby is growing. Melissa smiles and nods eagerly, she stands up on the bench and coughs, as if to make everyone be quiet.
"Excuse me, I would like to annoyance something" More people get quiet. "Riley Pedrad is out of the hospital, after two months! And Talia, his girlfriend is preggo with his child! Wooo" She yells out, people scream out yays and other profanities. I blush and look down at my feet until arms wrap around me and pull me into their lap. I look up to see Riley, smiling down at me. He whispers an "I love you" To me quietly in my ear. I smile up at him, nod, then put my face into his chest and snuggle.
After about an hour I have fallen asleep in Riley's lap, with his arms around me. I feel him move me in his arms, until he stand up and he's carrying me bridal style. He walks until he and I hear a familiar voice. "Riley, can you take a seat please?" Riley sits down, with me still in his arms. Dad continues.
"I can't say that I'm happy about Talia being pregnant at this age, but I'm happy it was with you. I also know how much she loves you, and how much you love her" Dad pauses and moves hair out of my eyes, and behind my ear. "Take care of my little girl and my grandchild please"
"I will sir, I love her very much, and our unborn child" Riley says. Dad must nod or something, because Riley gets up and heads to our apartment, assuming. He opens the door, throwing the key somewhere unknown to me. Next thing I know I'm laying down in our comfy King size bed, he tucks me in and kisses my forehead, before he leaves though I grab his wrist and pull him back.
"Stay. Please?" He chuckles and rips his shirt off, then his shoes and pants. He gets into bed and pulls me into his chest.
"I love you" He says, I smile.
"I love you too" I whisper back.
"Did you ever realize that you were gone for two months?" I ask him quietly. He shakes his head and pulls me closer.
"No, I didn't remember getting shot, or that I almost died twice" He chuckles his hardy laugh. His hands go under my shirt, to my back and up it, to my bra. He unclasps it like he's been doing it forever and pulls it away from my body.
"What do you think you are doing" I snort out. He laughs once again.
"You know, I was gone for two months, I think we both need to be released. If you know what I mean" He smirks. I quickly realize what he means when I look down and see the tent in his boxers, I almost forgot that he was a little more than half naked.
Once we begin to kiss there is no stopping us, my shirt, panties and everything else comes off quickly as Riley makes love to me. After Riley finishes, along with me he gets up, grabs my hand and we walk into the shower cleaning our hair and bodies. We both get out and Riley sits on the toilet waiting for me to get gauze and crap to reapply a new bandage. I walk up to him and see that the gunshot wound looks a lot better than it did about 2 weeks ago. I quickly wrap the gauze around the top half of his chest, once I'm finished I press my lips to his and walk away.
"You're such a tease, my love" He catches up to me wraps his arms around my waist and pecks me on the cheek. I nod and move my body to melt into his big chest. Riley sits on the couch while I sit on his lap, his arms are around me and his hands placed on my stomach where our baby is growing.
"I love you and our baby Talia, so much" He says kissing my neck. I squirm and smile.
"I love you too Ri"
