TMNT: the unexpected friendship
Chapter 23: More than Meets the Eye
"They've done it, they activated the internal fail safe!" Mortu cheered as the gang came to, back safely in the memory pods that Mortu and Honeycutt placed the gang in.
"I knew you could do it, angel!" Taiyo grabbed Bianca as soon as her pod opened and swung her around a bit in delight.
"I'm no angel, now get off me. I can walk just fine." Bianca huffed as she pushed herself away from Taiyo and retreated slightly behind her brother, knowing well enough that he would protect her and Taiyo would back off; which he thankfully did.
"But how did you make it out?" Mortu asked, now getting over the shock and happiness and getting more curious and confused.
"Well you helped us, well not you-you, but you, it's kind of a long story." Leo stated the best way possible but it still sounded confusing.
"Well I don't care how you got out, what matters is that you're safe and sound." Honeycutt cheered, as he was happy to be surrounded by his friends again.
"Still, I can't understand how the oracle malfunctioned." Mortu thought over the phenomenon briefly as he cupped his nonexistent chin on his pinky flesh with a small tentacle as the robot did the same thing.
"Oh, but I do." A deep rumbling voice disturbed the nice tranquility of the reunion and turned everyone's attention towards the entrance to the room. The one and only present day Shredder was standing there confidently with Hun behind him along with some elite ninjas.
"What!" Everyone exclaimed.
"The Shredder!" Taiyo seethed as he readied his large sword strapped to his back.
"N-No! It can't be!" Leo gasped as he stepped back slightly, half in fear and half being protective of his family. "I finished you off myself, you can't be alive."
"You merely separated my head from my body." Shredder stated as he dragged his finger across his neck.
"That sounds like dying to me." Bianca gulped as she held her neck, freaking out as she can picture seeing his demise in her head when Phoenix played back the event for her but then realized that Phoenix didn't seem that surprised. His energy was leveled and observant and it confused Bianca but she tried not to focus on it.
"A curtsey I will gladly extend to you all! For none of you are leaving here alive!" Shredder cackled as he looked to Hun and his elite guard. "Attack! Destroy them all!" As the Foot clan approached, each person readied himself or herself; each of them took on an enemy. As Honeycutt stood off to the side safely with Bianca standing near them as she fought just in case anyone wanted to target him as he couldn't defend himself, Honeycutt saw a crawling head move along the floor.
"Oh dear, and I thought I was stuck with an unpleasant robot body." Honeycutt grimaced, as much as a nonmoving face could grimace, as he stared at Stockman's new spider bionic body.
"Ew is right." Bianca icked as she scrunched up her face, but was too busy being disgusted that she didn't realize that he shot a laser in Honeycutt's direction from his eye and sent the frail robot flying. "Honeycutt!"
"My sons – attack!" Splinter commanded and the boys didn't take time at all to argue as they were each enraged by their injured friend. Taiyo didn't need any command as he went sword flailing into battle as he decided to settle business it seems with Hun.
"Bianca, with me." James called after Bianca made sure that Honeycutt was safe somewhere out of sight where he couldn't get hit again.
"Always!" Bianca called over her shoulder as she nodded once at Honeycutt, giving him a thumb's up, and then charging into action next to James as they took on some excess Foot ninjas. Bianca noticed that James didn't hesitate as he struck down people he allegedly worked with.
"Protect Mr. Mortu!" The Guardian that Leo met a while ago that lead the turtles to TCRI ordered. The other Guardians gave a big cheer and charged in battle alongside the Utroms flying around and attacking as well.
"Mortu: I have anticipated this moment for nearly ten centuries." Shredder growled as he was in the middle of a stand off with Mortu.
"I'm surprised that with your genius it took you a thousand years to fight us!" Mortu replied sarcastically as he took out a sword of his own hidden in his jacket.
"If those guys have been enemies for that long, then that means…" Leo began to say but he began to trail off, slightly afraid at his sudden realization.
"This is the same Shredder from a thousand years ago!" Splinter finished for Leo as he too understood the severity of the situation.
"And he's still in that good of shape…wow." Taiyo added more to himself as he was having fun, though not without difficulty, messing with Hun. Mortu and Shredder continued to fight but unfortunately Shredder eventually got the upper hand against Mortu and was standing over the Utrom dangerously with his two-taloned claw outstretched.
"Finally…" Shredder laughed darkly as he was about to strike down. Before Mortu could face his demise, Bianca and James jumped into action simultaneously and both kicked the Shredder roughly in the stomach, sending the iron bucket head several meters away.
"Not so fast, old timer!" Bianca cocked at him as she stood proudly right alongside her brother with practically most of her arms encased in flames, thankfully messing her hair.
"Shouldn't you respect your elders, especially when said elders were your lord and master." Shredder said as he got up off the floor and stalked over towards the Henderson siblings again, but specifically looking at James.
"I serve, no one!" James hollered as he charged individually this time with extreme agility and slammed his elbow into the Shredder's chest, again sending the Foot clan leader back.
"Neither do I!" Taiyo suddenly appeared over James and slashed his huge sword and it collided with Shredder's arm, breaking one of the two knives on his arm.
"Then you're both fools, just like her!" Shredder roared as he sent the two back slightly with an extended dragon kick. Meanwhile, the turtles were dealing with the elite guards fighting alongside the Utrom and the Guardians. When Leo noticed that one Utrom was shot out of his disc that he was using to fly around and shoot at people. He picked him up.
"Sorry about this…Donny, go long!" Leo apologized but didn't further warn the Utrom as he vaulted the Utrom through the air like a football and thankfully being caught by Donny, who in turn also took out two Elite guards and then threw the Utrom somewhere else for Raph to pick up and take care of. As Raph was placing the Utrom back down on the ground, though not unnerved at being tossed around, Raph and Leo were near each other as a crawling mechanical blue spider that opened its body and revealed a familiar head bombarded them.
"At last, it's time that I finally had my revenge on you annoying mutations!" Stockman threatened manically as he set his eye to lock onto Raph and Leo.
"Stockman?" Raph asked, completely stunned but also trying not to laugh his ass off too. "I almost didn't recognize you, new haircut?" Before Stockman could attack, Shredder noticed Stockman's confrontation with the turtles and interrupted him.
"Stockman, hold! You have more important business." Shredder ordered as he pointed at Stockman threateningly.
"Never! My revenge comes first." Stockman argued, as he didn't move from his spot and continued to stare at the turtles.
"I said, hold!" Shredder unhooked a remote control from his belt and pressed a button that electrocuted Stockman.
"AH!" Stockman cried in pain as he was paralyzed and slightly collapsed on his tiny legs.
"Implement Phase 3: now." Shredder ordered once more.
"Yes, master. Soon, the device will be under your control." Stockman said monotonously as he scurried off to complete his task.
"The device?" Mortu questioned as he followed the Stockman spider's trail. "The trans-mat!" Mortu turned to his Guardians and fellow Utroms. "We must stop that cyborg before-"
"You will go nowhere." Shredder interrupted as he blocked the exit out of the pod chamber room. The Utroms together blasted the Shredder to the side and then made their way towards the door.
"We will return to assist you as soon as the trans-mat is secured!" Mortu called over his shoulder as he soon disappeared around a corner.
"What!" Bianca gasped, as she was about to argue further but found it to be pointless once she saw they were gone.
"Dudes, you're gonna just leave us!" Taiyo complained as well as he was still tussling with Hun.
"After the Utrom, now!" Shredder commanded his small army as they all began to head towards the exit again.
"You have to go through us, first!" Raph challenged as he and his brothers along with the rest of the gang gathered near the exit to block Shredder's path.
"You're not worth wasting my time." Shredder mocked as he didn't bother getting into a fighting stance.
"What? We're not your favorites anymore? Now that almost hurts." Bianca fake pouted as she fired up one arm further so her fire extended beyond her arm and she whipped the fire chain on the ground, to show she was not to be messed with. Hun and the elite guard protected Shredder as he backed up slowly towards the control panel and began to mess with something until the room began to shake and small liquid containers on the side of the room began to explode with an off yellow not quite white liquid.
"Whoa!" Everyone julted in placed as the room was making them all off balanced and also with being blasted with the liquid. While the gang struggled, Shredder and his team disappeared into a panel in the wall that shot out to meet them and slowly began to drag them out of the room.
"He's getting away!" Leo called as he pointed towards where the Shredder and his army were. Before they could stop him, the wall turned back to normal and became unbreakable as everyone began to bang on the walls. Mikey was trying to head towards the group but fell on his butt into the rising weird liquid.
"Blech! Now this is gross!" Mikey cringed as he began to wipe the substance off hastily. While the gang was at the walls, trying to find a way out, Donny was at the panels to see if he could copy what the Shredder did to get them out of there but it was no use.
"It's no good, I can't work these controls!" Donny groaned as she slammed his fists roughly on the panel.
"I keep slicing at the wall, but it just heals itself." Leo announced as he stopped slicing with his swords. "It's like the room's alive." Leo mentioned as he touched the walls curiously.
"Wait, that's it." Donny gasped as he had one of his light-bulb-just-went-off looks. Donny walks towards the wall again and places his hand on it, moving it around slightly. "This is a techno-organic chamber, we need to think a little less techno and a little more organic." Donny hits the wall with his bo staff. "See the walls have techno-organic nerve endings, they can feel. Just follow my rhythm, if we can agitate the nerve endings just so." The group didn't have a better plan so they followed Donny's plan and began beating the crap out of the wall.
"Uh, Donny, why's it bubbling?" Bianca asked warily as she noticed the liquid they were surrounded in, waist high now, was bubbling almost out of control.
"She's gonna blow!" Donny announced as everyone then began to brace his or herself. Suddenly the liquid surged up and shot the gang into a small pipe that led them out of the lab room but they all landed in a giant heap on the ground, completely covered in the liquid.
"Okay, that was nasty." Mikey said again as he brushed the stuff off his body. It didn't take long for the gang to regain its composure and move on to go back to the trans-mat room where they all knew the Shredder and the Utrom were. As they rounded the corner, they could hear Shredder's booming voice echo through the hallway.
"And I will destroy every last of your kind, Mortu!" Shredder called but before he could strike, the gang showed up in the trans-mat room and got Shredder and the Foot clan's attention.
"Not if we got anything to say about it!" Raph hollered. The Shredder snapped around and stared in annoyance at the return of his enemies. "Remember us?"
"I grow tired of you creatures and your meddlesome friends with your constant interference." Shredder roared. "Elite Ninja: attack!" He ordered once more. "Stockman, power up the trans-mat! Finish Mortu and his friends."
"Yes, master." Stockman said again, monotonously, as he headed towards the controls and began quickly moving his extended mechanical legs across the dashboard.
"We have to stop Stockman!" Leo cried as he looked worrisome at the once human doctor.
"And here I am fresh out of bug spray!" Raph joked though not without frustration in his voice as he was taking care of some elite ninjas.
"Why don't we just get Shredder to ask him to stop? Stockman seems to listen to him." Mikey groaned as he was growing tired of fighting all the time.
"That's it!" Donny had yet another light-bulb-idea. "Stockman's control chip must be voice activated!" Donny quickly makes his way to Honeycutt, unseen and avoiding damage from other fights. "Psst, Honeycutt. Can you voice box imitate any sound?"
"Of course." Honeycutt said as if it were obvious, also not understanding why at this moment Donny was asking him of his robotic abilities.
"We need your best impersonation of the Shredder, now." Leo added as he pushed Hun away from him. It took a moment but Honeycutt began to beep and suddenly he began to speak.
"Stockman, step away from the controls!" Honeycutt said in a perfect imitation of the Shredder. Stockman stopped what he was doing, but didn't move from his spot. When the Shredder noticed that Stockman had stopped working, he freaked.
"Stockman, don't listen to him, you obey only me!" Shredder ordered..
"Don't listen to him, override all voice command protocols." Honeycutt called out and suddenly a light from Stockman's eye went off and Stockman grinned a victorious grin.
"I'm, I'm free!" Stockman cried in pure delight. "I obey no one now!" He cackled as he launched himself off from the dashboard and onto Shredder's body. "Who's in charge now, master?" Stockman sent a large electrical shock through Shredder's body.
"No, no…NO!" Shredder cried out in pain until the Shredder collapsed and didn't move from his spot on the ground.
"I'm free, free of him at last!" Stockman cheered as he escaped the trans-mat room to who knows where.
"Master…" Hun gasped roughly as he leaned down to his master and picked up his master in his arms.
"Do you think the Shredder is…?" Mikey gulped suddenly.
"We'll be back, freaks." Hun warned as he with the Elite guard left the room, but not without Shredder dropping something onto the ground and it sinking into the floor slightly. Glowing red veins began to crawl from the small device, with a countdown, until they spread all across the room.
"Do not touch it!" Mortu warned, as Donny was about to touch the small device. "It's an Utrom implosion device, the techno organic virus it contains will destroy you." The red veins continue to spread across the room. "Already it's thoroughly infected the system. The entire building will implode in less than 10 minutes." Everyone gasps.
"Can't you stop it?" Donny asked, pleadingly as he knew he wouldn't be able to understand the Utrom's technology.
"No. Unfortunately the virus is comprehensive, it's spread too quickly." Mortu announced sadly.
"So Shredder found a way to stick it to us, even in defeat." Raph grumbled as he slammed his fist into the wall.
"The human troops-" The Navigators in their human exo-suits appeared on a communication screen, they were sitting in large purple chairs in a dark room.
"-Are making their way deeper into the building." Another Navigator announced.
"We have to get them out before the place implodes!" Leo states frantically.
"The lower floors are completely sealed off. There's no way to contact them." Mortu sulked.
"There must be someone on the outside that we can contact." Donny says as he and the rest of the gang begin to think of a way to do just that.
"Wait, there is!" Leo spawned an idea. He suddenly rummaged for his T-phone and Bianca caught on to what he was getting at.
"April and Casey!" Bianca cheered as she hugged Leo slightly as she was bouncing in excitement at their plan as it just might work.
"April, Casey, it's me, Leo." Leo said into the phone as he placed the call on speakerphone.
"Hello?" April and Casey answer at the same time, both sounding slightly confused but then they caught on as to who was calling them and suddenly the two got excited.
"Oh my gosh Leo, I can't believe I'm hearing your voice!" April cried happily.
"Me neither. When did you get three-way calling?" Casey asked and then there was a muffled noise from the background but the gang go the hint what happened when Casey yelled, "Ow! What?"
"Hello? Alive?" April reminded Casey.
"Oh, right!" Casey said sheepishly before cheering, "Woo hoo!"
"Listen, you have to get a message out to evacuate the building. It's going to self-destruct in less than six minutes." Leo said quickly to his human friends.
"We got it." April said before hanging up.
"I have doubts that the army will listen to a couple of random adults." Bianca said as she began to think realistically.
"It's our only shot." Leo stated as he sighed and placed an arm around Bianca, rubbing her arm encouragingly and hopefully before letting go and placing his phone back on his hip.
"Mr. Mortu, the trans-mat is powered up." A random Utrom announced from the dashboard.
"Primary team: assemble on the platform. We're going home." Mortu announced in a surreal tone. The Utrom that were gathered together got out of their exo-suits and began crawling to the trans-mat to stand on the platform.
"I hate walking on my tentacles." A whiny Utrom complained alongside another Utrom.
"Oh shut up, Kraang." The other groaned as the continued forward up the stairs.
"Mortu, we are the last. The others have been evacuated." A guardian said as he approached with a Utrom in his hands.
"Secondary team will accompany the council." Mortu announced. The three Navigators wheeled in on their purple chairs, all attached to one another.
"It is good-"
"—to be going-"
"—home." Each Navigator said in relief and with small smiles on their faces. The chairs opened up to reveal goldfish glasses containing the Navigators and one guardian each picked one up and took it with them on the trans-mat. As the secondary team left, Mortu suddenly turned to Honeycutt.
"Professor Honeycutt would you care to join us?" Mortu offered. "We would gladly offer you asylum on our home world."
"Really, me?" Honeycutt looked as flattered as any robot could muster. "To live among an advanced and peaceful civilization where I can use my knowledge and skills for good? It's a dream come true." Before he completely answers, he turns back to the turtles and Bianca. "But my friends. I will miss you. I can't thank you enough."
"Take care of yourself, Professor."
"Mr. Mortu, thank you; for everything."
"Aw man, I hate long goodbyes." Mikey began to sniffle and reached for Raph, who was the closest to him, and tackled him into a hug.
"After we leave, you are welcome to use the tele-portal to go back to your world." Mortu said as he turned to Bianca and James.
"What?" Bianca gasped at the offer.
"As you must've seen in the oracle pods, it is partially our fault that your planet has gone dark. We wish to repay you back in any way we can." Mortu explained.
"To go, to Itonami…?" Bianca just stood there, not knowing how to take in what she just heard. "I, I don't know what to say…" Bianca continued to stand there, flustered, until she remembered she wasn't alone. "James?"
"It's whatever your decision is kiddo, I don't have the right to tell you right from wrong." James said.
"Phoenix…?" Bianca asked and Phoenix in his human form appeared in front of her.
"I fear that leaving at the wrong time for Itonami will cause a disturbance in the timeline of the future. I think it would be best to not disrupt that." He advised.
"I definitely don't want to risk the lives of, them." Bianca nodded. "Especially not, mom and dad." Bianca took in a big sigh before turning back to Mortu. "Thank you, Mortu, but I will be declining your kind offer. And I wish for you and your people to not be troubled with the burden of my planet. It was not your fault; it was never your fault. It was that diabolical Utrom that separated me from my biological family." She stated firmly.
"Thank you. We wish you the best, and your people." Mortu bowed slightly as he was still in his exo-suit.
"You too, Mortu." Bianca bowed back and smiled at him appreciatively.
"It has been an honor to know you and your race, Mortu-san." Splinter bowed too.
"It is we who are honored, Master Splinter." Mortu returned the bow. "Before we leave, a small token of our appreciation." Mortu handed over a circular device and placed it in Master Splinter's hands. "Your Master Yoshi was the most loyal Guardian to have served the Utrom. He gave his life to protect us, but his spirit lives on in our collective history." Master Splinter's went glassy for a moment as he was seeing something that wasn't in reality. A moment later, Master Splinter wipes his furry face of the tears that were carefully falling down before bowing again. "And now my friends, you must leave this building while you still can. Donatello, if you would do me the honor of powering up the trans-mat?" Mortu asked as he stepped out of his exo-suit finally and approached the trans-mat.
"Sweet, I'm all over it!" Donny agreed eagerly as he headed towards the dashboard.
"As long as I live, you will not leave this place alive!" Shredder appeared alone this time from the exit. "Our thousand year struggle ends now!" The Shredder began his charge towards the trans-mat. The Guardians were about to step off the platform and attack along with Mortu but Leo stopped them with a protective arm.
"No, protect your masters!" Leo half-order half-pleaded with Mortu. "We'll handle the Shredder."
"Let me finish the turtles." Hun said eagerly as he came back into the room again and stood by his master's side.
"No!" Shredder denied as he stepped forward. "They are mine. You and the others track down Stockman, he is still of some use to me." The trans-mat was powering up as the Shredder watched Hun rush out of the room. "No…" He began to to bolt again.
"We shall meet again." Mortu said and then before Shredder could lay his hands on Mortu, the Utroms were officially gone.
"After ten centuries I will not be denied my revenge!" Shredder roared as he swirled around dangerously and faced the gang. "You…you have been little more than thorns in my side, but now you have robbed me of my triumph, and for that you shall pay with your lives!"
"Shredder, there is no time!" Splinter argued, even in his fighting stance he knew that the timer on the Utrom bomb was still ticking away. "The building is about to implode. Even you could not survive."
"Then we shall all perish, together!" Shredder charged forward, not caring about the bomb.
"This isn't Romeo and Juliet Shredder, so I'd rather not!" Bianca yelled as she blocked a shot from Shredder with a wall of fire before sending it his way and pushing him a few meters back. Despite that, Shredder was able to bounce back quicker than Bianca imagined and she was sent flying, alongside Donny who had attempted to hit Shredder in the back with his bo staff, flying towards the wall. The other boys tired to take the Shredder on as well but Shredder was moving with a ferocious amount of speed and barely affected by any of their strikes. When Raph got his sais taken from him by the Shredder, Leo leaped into action and hurled himself at Shredder with swords extended and managed to send Shredder to the ground, thus dropping Raph's sais.
"Thanks, bro." Raph grinned as he got his sais back and the gang began again to attack the Shredder. When Raph and Leo switched off attacking Shredder quickly, Donny observed how when the metal connected roughly with weak points in the armor, Shredder's body began to react violently to sharp pain; and this gave Donny an idea as a finishing move from Leo.
"Guys, use your weapons to penetrate his armor. I think we can stop him for good!" Donny hollered as he saw what Leo's sword hanging from Shredder's armored body was doing to him. The gang nodded and one by one began to place their weapons stiffly into the armor.
"You pathetic creatures…cannot hurt me." Shredder struggled to move with all the weapons in his body.
"Don't be so sure!" Donny called as he connected two copper wires together and sent out a large spark of electricity towards Shredder and they all watched as Shredder began to fry and spaz out of control.
"Way to go Braniac!" Bianca cheered. "We finally…uh…" She paused as she stared at the armor as its chest began to open up.
"The Shredder's…an Utrom!" Leo yelled in surprise as they all stood around the body in surprise as the red Utrom from the memory pods was sitting snuggly but limply inside the Shredder's chest.
"Ah! It's the prisoner dude!" Mikey freaked as he backed away quickly. "He's the one who-who…"
"Who escaped after causing Mortu's ship to crash on Earth a millennium ago." Donny concluded.
"He ain't so tough right now, let's just squish it!" Raph said eagerly.
"What did you say?" Utrom Shredder taunted in still a deep voice but it sounded different without the helmet the Shredder would wear. It sounded more alien and off pitch. Immediately after speaking, the Utrom Shredder pounced onto Raph's face and freaked out Raph as Raph went colliding into walls and barrels as he couldn't see anything beyond the Utrom's body. "I can't seem to hear you." The Shredder laughed almost in glee as he tormented the turtle even when smaller than before.
"Get it off, or there's going to be a tiny little Shredder alien busting out of Raph's chest!" Mikey freaked as he tried to rip off the Utrom from Raph's face but the Utrom Shredder bite Mikey's hand roughly and he jerked back away from his brother. "Ow!"
"Allow me…" Bianca said cruely as she approached the Utrom on Raph's face and set the Utrom ablaze, thankfully the flames didn't hit Raph's face. Due to the agonizing pain, the Utrom Shredder had to loosen his grip and was sent hurtling towards the wall. "That's what you get for infecting my planet with darkness, you creep!"
"Bianca, no! Vengeance is never the answer! He is no longer our problem. We are running out of time!" Master Splinter lectured Bianca before she could get any closer to where the Utorm Shredder ended up.
"Guys, quick! I got the trans-mat recalibrated." Donny called as he moved from the dashboard to the platform with ease.
"Let's hope wherever we're going is a lot better than the last place we went!" Raph called as he followed his brother's suit as well as the rest of the gang and waited for the trans-mat to disassemble their molecules once more and get them out of the building.
"Ta, ta, freak!" Bianca teased as she stuck her tongue out at the Utrom Shredder right before she disappeared from the trans-mat but then suddenly found herself temporarily floating in the air before gravity caught up with her and the rest of the gang surrounding her in midair.
"Ah!" Everyone screamed as they weren't expecting a fall and all roughly landed on something rough and made of metal as it made a loud CLANK noise.
"Well I got us out, but apparently I neglected to get us down…" Donny groaned as he rubbed his neck soothingly from the fall.
"Yeah, no more trans-mat traveling. I don't think my stomach could take another trip…" Bianca groaned too but she was cradling her stomach as she once again wasn't feeling too good.
"Guys! Master Splinter! You're alive." April called from below the group. They looked over the side to find April and Casey staring at them in awe and when they realized they were with Casey and April, the gang realized they landed on the Battle Shell. "And you brought friends."
"Yeah, well you know Taiyo already, but this is my brother, James." Bianca introduced as she cautiously climbed down off the Battle Shell with help from Casey.
"Good to see ya!" Casey cheered as he crashed Bianca and few other people like Raph and Mikey into a hug.
"So, what's with the getup? You, uh, news reporter?" Leo asked curiously as he stared at April in a fitted yellow jumpsuit with a wooden number 6 on her chest.
"Ha! In another life time maybe." April laughed as she threw the microphone behind her shoulder.
"I suggest we continue our reunion in a less conspicuous location." Splinter suggested.
"Deal." The group nodded and they all headed into the Battle Shell.
"So, do you think we've truly seen the last of the Shredder this time?"
"The Shredder, don't tell me he was in there too?" April
"Boy, have we got a story to tell you." The boys mused together, making everyone laughed.
"As much as I love touchy reunions, I'm gonna pass." Taiyo huffed as he fixed his hair and was the only one who didn't enter the Battle Shell.
"Good, cuz you weren't invited." Raph grunted as he shooed Taiyo away before not paying him anymore attention.
"What? Where are you going Taiyo?" Bianca asked, surprised to see him go so soon.
"Don't worry babe, I won't be anywhere far. Still got unanswered questions to get to the bottom of." Taiyo winked as he clicked Bianca's way, making her roll her eyes but smirk slightly. "But just so you don't miss me too much, I put my number in your phone. When you're not busting heads, call me." He cooed as he lifted Bianca's chin cheekily with his index finger before slipping away, leaving Bianca a little ticked but still confused as well and either half the Battle Shell was confused or the other half was pissed off at how he was talking to Bianca (guess who's in which half J )
"In your dreams, wannabe!" James growled, almost getting out of the Battle Shell to tackle the assassin but Taiyo easily grabbed onto a nearby fire escape and began making his way swiftly up to the roofs.
"Bye, Taiyo." Bianca called sarcastically outside the Battle Shell.
"Jeez, what a knuckle head." Leo grumbled as he rolled his eyes and closing the Battle Shell doors.
"Yeah, no kidding. But he can put up a good fight, might need him one of these days." Bianca admitted as she leaned back into the comfy chairs of the Battle Shell.
"Yeah let's hope not." Raph huffed as he and Leo fist bumped as they actually agreed on something.
"Could you drop us off at our place, please?" James asked April who was currently driving.
"Why? It's completely trashed, remember?" Bianca reminded her brother.
"Yeah, well guess which lucky two are going to clean it up?" James ridged a brow at her with a slight smirk playing on his lips.
"What?" Bianca questioned and then it suddenly hit her and she was now steaming (not literally though, lol). "That was YOUR mess!"
"Well do you want to live on the streets until it's fixed up or would you rather it get done quicker?" James questioned as he challenged her to argue him.
"Ugh…fine." Bianca huffed after glaring at James for a good few moments. She leaned back her head and groaned, "Donny-"
"Already on it." Donny sighed as he began giving directions to April on how to get to Bianca and James' place.
"They know where we live?" James asked skeptically eyeing the turtles.
"Yeah, they've stopped by before when you weren't around." Bianca answered casually, though still a bit ticked off at her brother.
"Does that explain the large amount of pizza orders I've been seeing on your bill?" James asked as he ridged a brow at his sister this time.
"Bingo." Bianca winked at him. "Oh, I got a coupon by the way, since I've gotten to know the chef pretty well."
"Well good, because that might be all we'll be eating for the next few nights." James said a bit sadly, bringing down the mood once more.
"Great…" Bianca mumbled as she continued to sulk into her seat.
"I'm crashing!" Mikey cheered.
"No, Mikey." James and Bianca said monotonously, not in the mood to put up with a hunger-driven Mikey at the moment.
"Aw man…" And everyone laughed besides the Henderson siblings as they rode away from the pothole that now was the TCRI building.
hope you like, finally done with that part! super excited - the next bits might be boring because they're filler episodes right before battle nexus and i'm gonna throw in stuff about James and Bianca repairing their house and hanging out together and telling more truths.
