Inuyasha ran up the steps on the outside of the building while Kagome and Sesshomaru went to the door and leaned against the wall waiting. She cracked the door open and watched for Inuyasha to get inside and when she saw him nod his head she turned to Sesshomaru. "Are you ready?"

"I should be asking you that." Kagome grinned as she began to go inside. But Sesshomaru stopped her by grabbing the upper part of her arm. "Hey." She turned back to face him. "Be careful."

"Now that is something I should be telling you." She laughed.

"Kagome."

"I'll call for help when I need it." She smiled.

"Okay then, shall we?" Sesshomaru entered back to back with Kagome, guns ready to fire. He turned to the sound of a footstep running above them. "At the first shot, run."

"What about you?" Kagome asked.

"Don't worry about me." As soon as a shot was fired "Go!" both went their separate ways. Sesshomaru ducked behind a big metal looking bowl while Kagome ran up a maze of stairs, bullets following her heels.

"Found you." She shot as she ran up the stairs trying to shake her attacker.

Sesshomaru stood to help her but a shot was fired at him as soon as he was unprotected. "Damn it." He growled as he looked around, a gunshot was fired from Kagome's direction and a man fell from the second floor. He saw Kagome keep running and decided to back her up. He went up the same set of stairs as Kagome but when he caught up to her she was handing over the side while a man was stepping on her fingers "Hey!" Sesshomaru gave him a blow to his jaw sending him flying. When the man came back he was able to catch Sesshomaru's hand and slam his wrist into the rail until he dropped his gun. Sesshomaru put an elbow in the guys face making him stumble back. When the man's vision cleared he kicked Sesshomaru in his injured knee and used that time to attack, but Sesshomaru was too quick. He stepped to the side and grabbed the mans chin with one hand and the back of the mans head with the other, the momentum was enough to snap the mans neck dropping him instantly.

He helped Kagome climb back onto the platform before they continued to the top floor. Sesshomaru killed two others before he noticed Kagome was slowing down. The first opening he saw he pulled her into the shadows. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I just-" She put her head down and closed her eyes'.

"Don't over do it." He peeked around the corner to make sure no one was coming.

"I'll be fine, we have to get Izaiyo back." When she stepped out she hit some one three times her size. Both of them had lost both their guns so this was very inconvenient.

"I'll handle him." She gave him a nod, "Go find Izaiyo."

She thought for a moment, "I really wanted to use this but,"she pulled the knife from her ankle. "you need it more than I do." He caught the knife and watched her run off. Big mistake, his opponent took a swing at him and barley missed. He went back in for and attack but size was definitely not a factor to be worried about. "You can't even scratch me." Sesshomaru launched himself to the mans stomach putting the knife into him and squeezing the handle, and it opened up. Sesshomaru grinned as he twisted the knife in his stomach. He could hear it twist the man's guts around. "I think I like this too." he laughed. His head snapped around when he heard a scream. "Izaiyo."

He was half way up when he was stopped by a rather odd man. "Oh, who are you?" He asked.

"I could ask you the same thing, not that I would care."

"Feisty, good." Sesshomaru gave him and odd look. "Oh, please forgive my rudeness. I'm Jakotsu.' He looked over the edge. "by the looks of it you have met Renkotsu and the others."

"That's right, and your next."

"Why did you have to be so mean to Genkotsu?"

"You mean twisting his guts?" he grinned.

"I say, you rather enjoyed it didn't you?"

"Are we going to get this over with or not?" he lunged for Jakotsu.

Kagome continued up the stairs and she would occasionally find a weak spot in some wood. She thought it would give out under her any time. The longer she ran the dizzier she felt and a sharp pain worked it's way up to her chest. This was the same feeling she had before she was taken to the hospital. She began to loose her balance and fell off the stair way. Luckily she did not have far to fall, two feet maybe. But she ended up crashing down into wooden boxes and making more noise then what was called for. She heard foot steps above her so she used all of her strength to crawl to a corner. Once there her body went limp and she hit the wall breathing heavily, the world around her began to spin and turn black. "Hey." Kagome was spooked by a hand on her shoulder.

"Sesshomaru."

"You stay here."

"No, I can't I am the reason Izaiyo is there. I have to do this."

"Why are you being so stubborn?"

"I'm not." She snapped back.

"Are you just going to argue cause I don't think that is why you came here is it, Kagome?" A voice shook Kagome's world.
