4. Ch 3

Yukari: Sakura the Cherry Alchemist does not own Persona 3 Portable or Persona 4 but she does own all non story line plot and OCs

Ch. 3 Junpei joins SEES, Tartarus,Theo and Elizabeth, and more Social Links

Evening, Control (Command) Room, Mitsuru and Akihiko where already there. Mitsuru noticed us and said "Welcome back."
Akihiko then said, "We were waiting for you. There's someone I wanna introduce."
Yukari looked confused and said "Huh?"
Akihiko then looked at the door and said "Hey, hurry up."
A voice then said "Hold your horses... This thing is freakin' heavy." Junpei then walked in, chuckled and said "Wazzup?"
Yukari gasped and asked "J-Junpei!? Why are YOU here!?"
Akihiko the told us "This is Junpei Iori from Class 2-F He'll be staying here as of today."
Yukari then yelled, "He's staying HERE!? You've gotta be kidding me!"
Akihiko shook his head and said "I bumped into him the other night. He has the potential, but he just awakened to it recently... I told him about us and he agreed to help."
Yukari then asked Junpei, "You have the potential? For real!?"
Junpei then said "He found me cryin' like a baby at the convenience store, surrounded by a bunch of coffins. I don't remember much but... man that's embarrassing! He said that's, ya know, completely normal... in the beginning. Like bein' confused and not remembering anything. Did ya guys know that?"
Minato nods and Aura said "Uh huh."
Junpei then said "Oh... that's good. you should, since you're a Persona-users. …But man I was shocked to find out about you guys. I had no idea. I'm glad I'm not the only one. It could get kinda lonely, ya know. I bet you're stoked too, right!? Havin' me join... It'd be nice to have another guy around too, wouldn't it?"
Yukari sweatdropped and said "Huh? Uh, y-yeah..."
Junpei then continued "So anyway, glad to join the team, Aura, Minato."
Both Aura and Minato nod and Aura say
"I'm counting on you." Junpei then said "Heheh, that's what I'm here for!

Junpei joined SEES

Akihiko then said, "Well, enough with the introductions. I think we're about ready..."
The Chairman then walked in and said "Okay everybody's here. I'd like your undivided attention. For a long time, Mitsuru and Akihiko were the only Persona-users we had. But that number recently jumped to six. Therefore... Starting tonight at 12:00 AM, I'd like to commence the exploration of Tartarus."
Junpei then asked "Tartarus...? What's that? ...Sounds like toothpaste."
Yukari then turned to him, "You haven't seen it, Junpei?"
Junpei then asked "Hm...?"
The Chairman then said "It's no surprise... ...since it only appears during the Dark Hour."
Junpei then asked "The Dark Hour...?"
Akihiko then said "Just like Shadows... Interesting, huh? And it's the perfect place to train. You can think of it as a Shadow nest."
Junpei then asked "Whoa... Their nest huh...?"
Yukari then asked Akihiko, "But, Senpai... what about your injury?"
Mitsuru answered "Since Akihiko hasn't fully recovered yet, he'll only come as far as the entrance."
Akihiko told her "...Yeah, I know."
Junpei then told Yukari "Relax, Minato and I have Aura and your backs."
Yukari then looked a little nerves and said "I'm not so sure about this..."
Mitsuru then asked "What about you, Mr. Chairman?"
The Chairman told her "I'll stay here. As you know, I can't summon a Persona... "

At Gekkoukan High School front gate just before midnight, Aura, Mitsuru, Akihiko, Yukari, Junpei, and Minato were in front of the gate, Junpei asked "This is it? THIS is the place? Why HERE?"
Akihiko then told him, "Just wait a few minutes... It's almost midnight.

Dark Hour
The school started to change into a giant tower, Mitsuru then said "This is Tartarus- the labyrinth that reveals itself during the Dark Hour."
Junpei asked "Labyrinth...? What are you talking about!? What happened to our school!?"
Mitsuru answered Junpei "Once the Dark Hour passes, everything returns to normal."
Junpei then said "This is the "nest" you were talking about!? But why!? ...Why'd our school turn into a giant tower!? Mitsuru didn't answered and Junpei asked "...You don't now either?"
Mitsuru told him "...No."
Yukari then told him "I'm sure it's complicated."
Akihiko nodded and said "Well, maybe now we'll find out. Mitsuru and I have only gone in to take a peek; this will be our first time exploring it. Exciting, isn't it? There has to be some sort of clue in here about the Dark Hour..."
Mitsuru interrupted him by saying, "Akihiko. I respect your enthusiasm, but you won't be accompanying us today."
Akihiko told her "I know... You don't have to remind me."

So this is Tartarus...

Both Minato and myself decided to enter the tower.

Inside the Tartarus, we walk in and saw a staircase that leads to what looked like a huge clock with a door, there was also something green in the right side corner, and a blue door on the left side, Junpei gasped and said "Whoa... It's just as cool on the inside..."
Yukari looks around and said "But it sure is creepy..."
Mitsuru then told everyone "This is only the entrance. The labyrinth lies beyond the doorway at the of stairs."
Akihiko then said "First, we'll have you get a feel for this place. Why don't you go have a look around?"
Yukari then yelled "What!? By ourselves!?"
Mitsuru told her, "We're not asking you to go very far, and I'll be feeding you information from here. We're also going to appoint a leader to make any necessary decisions."
Junpei asked "For real? ...One of us? Oh! Oh! Me me me! Pick me!"
Akihiko ignored Junpei and looked between Aura and Minato and said "Minato, Aura you are co-leaders, one of you will takeover today and the other the next time we explore the Tartarus, Minato will go first. Alright let's head inside. Are you ready, Minato"
Minato nods Aura was about to go into the labyrinth when both Aura and Minato saw a strange door to the left of the staircase, Yukari asked them "What's the matter?"

Aura then saw the Velvet Key in my hand is shining...

The key fit into the door's keyhole as if it was being sucked in...

Velvet Room, Igor is sitting at the table, Minato entered right after I did, and said, "I've been waiting for you both. The time has come for you both to wield your powers. The tower that you are about to venture into... How did it come to be? For what purpose does it exist? Regrettably, you are not yet capable of answering these questions. That is why you must be made aware of the nature of both of your powers."
Aura asks "The nature of our powers?"
Igor told both of us "Both of your powers are unique. It's like the number zero...It's empty but at the same time holds infinite possibilities. You both are able to possess multiple Personas and summon them as needed. And when you have defeated your enemies you will see the faces of possibility before you. There may be times when they are difficult to grasp... But do not fear Seize what you have earned. Both of your powers will grow accordingly... Be sure to keep that in mind. My spare time will soon be scarce. But please come again of your own accord. I'll tell you then about my true role... the manner in which I can best assist you. Ah before I forget... Do you recall when I mentioned two other resident of this room...? Let me introduce Theodore and Elizabeth."
The man from the first time I was here and a female appeared and the Theo said "My name is Theodore, but please feel free to call me Theo. It's a pleasure to meet you."
The woman said "Please to meet you."
Igor then continued "My assistant will aid you as will. Until then.. Farewell.

Tartarus, Yukari and Junpei are looking at both Minato and myself and Yukari said Hey are you alright." Junpei then said, "Yeah, what's up? You look like a zombie."
Both Aura and Minato look at each other and Aura said "We're ok, Let's go."
Aura, Minato, Yukari, and Junpei walked up the staircase and Mitsuru asked, "Are you ready?"
Minato then told her, "Ready."
Mitsuru nods and said "Good luck." Everyone then entered the doorway,

Inside the Tartarus..., Aura, Minato, Yukari, and Junpei entered and looked around, then Junpei said "So, this is it, huh...?"
Yukari then said "I hope I I don't get lost..."
Just then Mitsuru voice came out of nowhere and said "Can you all hear me?"
Junpei then asked "Whoa! Is that you Senpai?"
Mitsuru then said "I'll be providing audio backup from here on out."
Junpei then asked her "Wait... Yu mean, you can see inside here?"
Mitsuru then said "It's my Persona's ability. I'd like to join you but the structure of the Tartarus changes from day to day. That's why outside support is imperative."
Yukari then said "Well, THAT makes me feel a whole lot better..."
Mitsuru then continued "Now, based on your current location, you can expect to encounter enemies at any minute. They shouldn't be too tough but proceed with caution. Practice makes perfect."
Junpei then said "Right!"
Yukari also said "Got it."
Both Aura and Minato nod knowing Mitsuru could see us.
A few minute later Yukari asked "Why is

After they finished explored the Tartarus, Mitsuru said Welcome back. So how was it?"
I said "No problem."
She then said "I see. Well if you gained confidence, that's the best thing you could have achieved."
Junpei then said "Wow... U never knew I had that kinda power! But damn I'm beat..."
Yukari told him "That's cuz you were bounein' around like a little kid."
Junpei then told her, "You look pretty tired yourself, Yuka-tan."
Yukari then said, "I'm still to catch my breath, actually..."
Mitsuru then told everyone "That's the effect of the Dark Hour; you'll become fatigued more easily. Don't worry though you'll adapt. But, I'm surprised... You all did much better then I expected. At this rate they'll catch up to you in no time, Akihiko."
Akihiko then said "Heh, we'll see about that."

In any event...

By combining our powers will our team's, we were able to stand against the Shadows...

I feel the a bond forming between us...

I felt the power of my heart intensify as if in reaction to the bond my friends...

April 22 2009
Aura and Minato walked to the entrance school when Akihiko came and said "Morning I didn't know that we were all on the same train. But man... things have been real crazy these past couple days. Are you both all right? You both must be confused since you both have just transferred here too."
Aura then said "I am..."
Akihiko then said "Haha of course you are I want to say that I'll take over both of your positions... but I can't. Man I'm so bored that I fell like I'm dying. Well you're both going to be leaders for a while. ...The way you both fought yesterday was pretty impressive."
After he said that the bell rang and we walked into the school.
Later at an assembly a female student said "...That concludes the main portion of today's assembly. Next we'll hear a word from the Student Council. Please welcome Mitsuru Kirijo from Class 3-D.
Mitsuru came on to the stage said "Thank you."
Yukari who was next to Aura and Minato said "So, she did get elected. Well... I guess she IS the most popular girl in school."
Junpei, who was next to Yukari agreed "You can say that again! There's like some kinda aura around her... Besides this school's owned by the Kirijo Group, right?"
Aura turned her attention back to Mitsuru who said "As I begin my term as Student Council President, I'd like to share with you my vision for this coming year. It is my firm belief that each of us must accept the responsibility of bettering our school. However, change cannot occur without sustained effort and an unprecedented level of commitment. That is why we must restructure our daily lives to accommodate this lofty goal. I'd like each of you to dig deeply into your well of motivation and re-evaluate your convictions... … To imagine a bold new future without losing sight of the realities around you. That is the key. I am certain that many of you have your own visions of the future... For us to reap the full benefits of our education, your participation ideas, and enthusiasm are essential. Thank you."
She then left the stage and Junpei said "Dang... That was freakin' amazing..." he then turned to Aura and asked "Hey did you understand what she was talking about?"
Aura told him "Of course I did!" Minato nodded agreeing with Aura.
Junpei was shocked and said "Huh? Seriously? Man you're both smart... Sure didn't sound like somethin' a high schooler would say... If it was anyone else, we'd be laughin' our asses off."

Afternoon
Ms. Toriumi was in front and said "All right today we'll be going over Meiji-era literature. Open your textbooks to page 12. … You know what? I'm tired of these textbooks. I just went this novel last class. I've got a great poem we can cover instead. Close your textbooks, everyone, and listen...
"Isolated cloud
Suspended over the tall
Snowy mountain peak...
Aura was feeling tired but she decided to stay awake
All right, Kinji, you better not be sleeping back there! You should be ashamed of yourself, taking a nap while I pour my heart into reading this poem! For that you get another essay along with your regular assignment tonight! I'll expect a slice of cake when you turn it in too!And don't cheap out with the store-bought stuff like last time!"
After-school
Aura and Minato where walking out of the school when they ran into Junpei and decided to go head back to the dorms together

There's a commotion at the front gate...
A Akihiko fangirl yelled "Look, It's Akihiko-senpai!
Another said "Wait for us!"
Akihiko just sighed and walked past them and Junpei said "Man, would you look at that? I hear they're always swarming Akihiko-senpai like that. I know he's the captain of the boxing team but... I mean come on! You don't even see girls flock like that on TV! I wonder where they're going..."
Akihiko then walked up to them and asked "Hey, are you guys free this afternoon?"
Junpei then asked studiedly "Huh? Who us? I guess so...?
Akihiko then told them "I want the three of you to meet me at Paulownia Mall. You know where it is, right? I'll be at the police station. See ya there."
Aura, Minato, and Junpei decide to head to the Paulownia Mall

As they enter the Police Station in the Paulownia Mall, Akihiko was talking to the police man behind the counter and said "thank you, Sir." He then noticed that Aura and the others had entered and told the police man Oh there are the guys I was talking about earlier."

Akihiko then told them "This is Officer Kurosawa. He helps keep our squad well-equipped. And this is from Ikutsuki-san..."
Akihiko handed Aura 5,000 yen
He then said "You can't fight empty-handed so find something you like. Officer Kurosawa has connections... But these things still cost money."
Officer Kurosawa then said "Of course they do Nothing in life is free."
Akihiko then told him "I realize that. Well I'll see you later. Thanks again."
He then left the station and Officer Kurosawa said "I've been informed about you three. My job is to maintain peace in this city, regardless of the circumstances. I'm just an ordinary police officer, but it doesn't take a genius to know something strange is going on here. I'm only doing what I think is right.
After Aura and the others bought some armor The went outside the station and split up and Aura noticed that the café was having part-time workers on Mon., Tue., and Wed. and decided to do it for some extra yen, for armor and weapons.

Evening
Aura walked into the dorm and saw everyone on the first floor and Mitsuru said "Welcome back. Perfect timing... I'd like to speak with you and Minato for a moment. Regarding our exploration of the Tartarus... Akihiko is still on mend for now, so I'd like both of you to lead the team switching back and forth between the two of you every time we go on missions. You never know when a powerful enemy might appear, like the one you two faced the other day. It's best to be prepared, or else you two may find yourselves in a difficult situation. So, whenever you'd like to explore the Tartarus, just let me know, and I'll gather everyone there. Also since I'm sure there are other things you will need to take care of you may need to take care of you may go out at night if you need to. Well that's it. Keep up the good work." after she said that she sat down on the couch.
Aura and Minato looked at each other and Minato asked "Should we go tonight?"
Aura nodded and said "Let's see how far we can go for now."(1)
They talked to Mitsuru

Dark Hour
In the entrance to the Tartarus, Mitsuru said "As we explore Tartarus, this will be our base of operations. I'm counting on you all."
Aura, Minato, Yukari, and Junpei enter the Tartarus and made there way to the 5th floor after the walked for a little bit Aura noticed that there was a similar to the one on the 1st floor she then went over to the device and pressed her foot onto it.
The device has been activated!
Aura and the others found themselves on the 1st floor and Mitsuru said "I knew it! That device is a sort of portal that connects all like devices together. By activating it, you can move to the entrance... As well as between devices within Tartarus. You should take good advantage of these when you find then. They'll be useful during the expeditions. Aura then healed the team with the thing next to the stairs and then headed back to the 5th floor.
After they where back on the 5 floor Aura hear Mitsuru say "I detect 3 Shadows in this floor's central area."
Aura and the others headed to the area and saw 3 large bird like Shadows and Aura heard Mitsuru say "Prepare yourself!"
The battle started and Mitsuru said "The enemy is stronger than you are accustomed to. Proceed with caution!" Aura attacked with her weapon.
The 3 Shadows attack next and one knocks down Junpei
Junpei was out for the turn
Yukari finds the weakness and knocks all 3 down and said "Here's our chance for an All-Out Attack!
Aura, Yukari, and Minato all attacked but didn't kill then
Minato attacked next with his weapon
then Aura
This went on for 2 or 3 turns before they won.
After they won they healed on the first floor then continue to the 10th floor, after they went back to the first floor and healed, Aura heard Mitsuru say "I detect 3 Shadows in this floor's central area. Once again you'll be facing a new type of enemy, so stay alert."
They walked a little while and saw 3 huge hands with blue masks and the battle began.
Mitsuru said "It must be guarding this area... It's strong, so be careful!
Aura used Apsaras and Bufu
The 3 Shadows attacked
Junpei used Cleave
Minato Orpheus and Agi
Yukari used her weapon
The battle continued for awhile and with Aura and Minato switching to using their weapons with Yukari and Aura with Pixie healing every now and again.
Aura and the others continued to the 14th floor and healed again then headed to the Shadow
A large armored Shadow was there.
After the battle with everyone but Aura, who was healing with Pixie, was using their elemental attacks.
On the 16 floor and the way to the next floor was blocked and there was a suitcase and a portal in front of the staircase.

After they got to the 1st floor and after Aura and the others left and returned to the dorm.

April 23, Early Morning
Aura, Minato and Junpei where walking into the school when Junpei said "Man, I'm so tried... Coming to school's a job by itself. Things got so busy all of a sudden. Well, I do feel a lot more satisfied though."
Aura then said "Yeah, I agree." Minato agreed
Junpei then said "Having somethin' that only we can do... It just feels great. *yaawn* Oh man, I'm getting teary eyed now... Goin' to class is a pain... The only thing I look forward to is after school. How will I kill time?" The bell then rang

End of Ch. 3

Sakura the Cherry Alchemist: Sorry it toke so long but my PSP was acting weird. Also I'm not sure if the job at the café is just during the night or not in the game but it's both day and night in this story

(1) I always go the first day after either the first trip or after Theo or Elizabeth calls. (I've played P3P a lot and finished the female story mode a lot.)
