Harold Finch stares on the computer. He smiles.

"What?" asks John Reese. Harold doesn't answer, so John moves next to him to see what he is looking at.

"I think, we shouldn't see that", he just says.

But both of them keep their eyes on the live feed. The street camera outside their station captures a scene just too fascinating.

Root and Sameen Shaw eye to eye.

"Miss Shaw followed her out", Harold explaines.

"Can we hear them?" John grins at the gaze Harold gives him after that.

Outside, Shaw asks Root, where she is going. The answer is a gesture towards Central Park.

"What will you do now?"

"I don't know, Sameen. I don't have a mission anymore."

Quite a pair they are, Root looking like a housewife and Shaw looking like a little boy, both of them very self-assured but shy all of a sudden.

"You too don't have a job anymore."

"But I need to do something."

"Hm, I'm sure you will find mayhem. You are not too shy to ask for it, aren't you?"

Shaw shakes her head, annoyed and angry, which makes Harold and John wonder, how Root managed to trigger the perplexity.

Both women stand still for a long moment, New Yorkers passing by.

What the men can't hear is Shaw announcing: "Let's do mayhem." She walks past Root, towards Central Park.

They can't hear Root whispering: "Don't deny me now, Sameen", after she stopped her. But they see Root leaning in gently, to embrace Shaw and to kiss her. The world doesn't take notice of that, just Harold and John.

They last thing they can't hear is Shaw saying: "Let's do mayhem now." and Root answering: "I know a place."

When Root leads Shaw by the hand away from the camera, they don't look back.
