Chapter 6
I am racing through the streets trying to find GeLin. I've called and texted her repeatedly but she won't answer. I am soo worried about her and I know San is to even though I can hear her muttering about Ge trying to pull this disappearing shit. Suddenly it hits me.
"San what is the closest park to the club that has swings?" Santana thinks for a minute and then says "Central park." We run there as fast as we can. What feels like forever is really only a few minutes. I finally see the gate to the park and I run faster.
We finally reach the swings but I can't spot Ge in any of them. I turn in circles and just as I am about to give up hope that she is here I see someone on the other side of the park walking away from us. I bolt to them. Just as I reach them I hear sniffle off to the side. I snap my head in the direction I heard it from and there I see GeLin leaning against the tree where we had our first date.
I see Santana catching up and she sees where I am looking and turns to see what I do. I see her relax. Once San is next to me we walk to Ge and sit down next to her. I don't know if she sees us or even knows we are there. Now that I am closer I see that she has her ipod playing. Listening I hear the beat of the song that we all sing together when we are having a bad day.
Suddenly the idea comes to me. I look at Santana and tell her to go get the guitar. She nods her head and runs off. I thank good she doesn't live far and I pray that Ge doesn't notice me before San gets back. Suddenly I realize that she has the song on loop play. I wait for San. She texts me a few minutes later saying she is around the corner be ready. As soon as she is within hearing distance she starts to play. Once the time is right I start to sing.

I walk closer to her and take her earplugs out. I grab her into a hug and contuie singing while Santana joins in.

Once the song is over Santana takes off the guitar and sets it down. She joins in on the hug and we just hold GeLin until she calms down. After a while she pulls away. She looks at us and just stares for a few minutes.
"What are you two doing here?" GeLin asked
"You didn't think you could get rid of us that easily did you?" Santana asked.
"Yea Ge your kinda stuck with us remember" I said
"But Santana…." Santana glares at her, "Fine but S said tha…"
"I was in shock. I am sorry. I want to hear the rest now" San said.
I pull out the keys from my pocket and hold them out to her "Here these are yours. We gave them to you." She takes the keys and looks at them strangely. "Now how about the rest of that story?"
GeLin shrugs her shoulders. Santana take her face in her hands and looks in her eyes "GeLin you are not going to lose us. I know you have heard that from people before and they have let you down. I am here to tell you that we aren't going to do that. Now please tell us." She pleads with her.
GeLin takes a deep breath nods her head and holds up her finger. We wait for her to start talking. She opens and closes her mouth a few times. She opens it again and I am surprised to hear her actually talk.
"After I faked my death and became GeLin I moved to New York. No one knew I was alive not even my family. I couldn't tell them because they wouldn't have believed me if I tried. I mean you saw how Santana reacted. Imagine that a by my entire family. There was only one person who knew I was still alive. I tried to warn Rachel. I sent her letters. I warned her about Finn and what he was capable of. She wouldn't believe me so I stopped. Now here I am telling you two. That is really all there is to it. I am still trying to figure out why Brittany told you about it?"
I look to Santana and I wonder if I should tell GeLin. San shakes her head. So I come up with a excuse. "She just let it slip." GeLin seems to think about this for a minute before she nods in acceptance of the answer.
"I am getting tired I am going to walk home." Ge says. We all stand up.
"We will walk you home then." I say and San nods.
"Don't be ridiculous you two live in the other direction. I will be fine."
"Then can you at least text us when you get home?" San says
GeLin looks at us strangely "You two are being weird now…..I should have never told you that story. You know what don't worry I am okay he thinks I am dead remember."
"Please just text us? And promise you will be safe as well as okay" I say and I give her the look I know she can't resist. The look that I reserve for her and Rachel. Yes she is with Dianna and yes I do love Rachel still, but what can I say we were together for 3 years. We were in love and you can't just erase that. I know using that look was wrong but I also knew that it was the only way she would say yes and like I knew she would she goes "Yea fine I will send you guys a text when I get home gesh and yes I promise." She starts to walk away I grab her and hug her. After I release her she just walks away shaking her head muttering to herself. She gets to the gate and turns around and waves goodbye to us.
San turns to me and says "I guess we should head to our places." I nod my head and we turn to walk to our houses. We walk in silence each of us thinking. My place comes first San stops and says "Do you think any of what she said was true?"
I think it over for a minute and say "Yes, Brittany said something's and even Rachel is afraid of Finn now. Something isn't right and I think we really do need to help them." San just nods her head and walks away to go to her place. I walk upstairs and enter my building.
I feel my phone go off and I see a text from GeLin
Ge: I won't be able to keep my promise to you. I am sorry.
Q: What are you talking about?
I wait for hours. I finally send a message to San asking if she has heard from her and she said no. I decide to go to her house and I call a cab. It feels like years for it to get her but it was really only 10 minutes. I get in and tell the driver the address. We leave. After about 5 minutes we pull up to GeLins curb. I throw money at him and dig out my key. I get inside and run up the stairs. As soon as I got to her floor I knew something was wrong.
