"Mike?" Zoey asked while she tried to shake him awake.

"Huh?...Z-zoey? ZOEY!" He hugged her tightly and managed to hold back the tears that almost fell. What happened in his 'dream', if it's even possible to call it that, was something unforgettable. This time he knew he had to tell somebody...but not zoey, he couldn't think of much of a good lie as to why he was shaking and holding himself tight. He'll tell his mother...but carefully.

"I'm coming home." Was the last thing his dad said before zoey shook him awake. He was glad to be brought back to reality and upon thinking this, the minute he woke up, he hugged her. It was just as the hug ended that the terrifyingly long ride was over and the cart doors opened with a clang sound. Mike gathered his things and took zoey by the hand and led her out of the crowd and straight toward the end of the fair, zoey didn't try to convince him to stay a little longer or ride any more rides. His grip was tight on her hand and his expression and body language were emotionless as he clearly wasn't able to look her in the eye now. It wasn't long before they reached the front and saw no cars there ready to pick them up. Mike predicted as such considering how short a time they'd been there, both children were silent, hadn't said a word since they got off the ferris wheel. As though on cue, mike's mom came in, she was moving rather quickly and stopped right in front of them. She sighed when she noticed mike and zoey unharmed. They got in quickly, mike didn't know what to say or if he should even say anything, he knew zoey would be confused and worried as to why the two of them were silent. Zoey, surprisingly didn't seem to mind, making the still atmosphere a lot less awkward.

After zoey was dropped off at her house, the silence between the both of them became even more awkward but at one point when they passed a traffic light...he could've sworn he saw his father standing calmly beside a stop sign with an innocent looking smile and he waved as they passed him. Mike's jaw dropped as he nearly had a heart attack. The minute he disappeared from mikes line of sight, the rest of the car ride was a blur as evening fast approached. Even when they made it to the house, they still remained on mute. They got in but neither were really all that hungry so they skipped dinner. Mike looked at the table where his mother had gone through the mail, luckily she knew to hide the orange packet as to postpone the bad news that she was afraid to confront.

"I think I'll go to bed…" mike told his mom, this was often a very unusual thing to say for a ten year old boy but she didn't plan on stopping him and just said goodnight whilst she stays to think about this whole thing. Telling herself everything'll work out fine. Mike entered his room cautiously, realizing nobody was inside, he started locking his windows and checking in his closet and under his bed just in case of 'monsters'... After putting a chair under his door knob, he finally felt safe enough to sleep. He needed it after the stress he went through at the fair, he DESPERATELY needed some news...some GOOD news. It was awhile before mike finally fell asleep.

Luckily he found himself in his subconscious and sighed heavily in relief.

"Mike there's somethin' you need to see…" manitoba alerted him, mike knew this couldn't be good. He followed manitoba and it was only about halfway through that he knew where they were going and he stopped dead in his tracks. Manitoba understood why but then grabbed his wrist to pull him along...mike started to resist and pull toward the other direction but manitoba was stronger. with manitoba's fast walking they got there rather quickly. What mike saw when they got there terrified him…

The portal to the darkness that had been closed and sealed up with a barrier which was no longer it's glowing strong yellow but had now turned black and faded, you could see electricity literally like lightning, prowling for something to come close enough to shock it. In some areas it looked see-through as the barrier seemed to not only look like semi-black murky water but it flickered similar to a light switch being turned on and off. Each time it was off, the barrier would almost completely disappear, turned on it'd just look like an electric black bubble ready to pop.

The barrier holding back the darkness was about to burst.

Mike had no idea what to do other than to get his personalities to safety. who knows what'll happen if...or rather...when that barrier dissolves. It was obvious that they didn't have much time. He looked around and saw chester watching vito and svetlana trying to repair and add a new layer to the barrier but when they held their hands up to focus, the black barrier would shock their hands hard.

"Guys! We need to get outta here, back to the rooms! Quickly!" Vito and chester didn't move an inch but svetlana at least listened to orders, mike grabbed vito and chester and pulled them along. Newly found strength burned inside him.

~In the training room in the darkness~

Dominic was watching the whole thing through one of the seeing mirrors. He smirked upon seeing them leave.

"It'll be fun causing a little chaos…". This sparked a whole plan in dominic's wooden mind. Now all he needed was Bue and he knew exactly how. He imagined a camera with an extra bright flash.
